When doing business with this people be very careful.. they're a mess!! No respect or any consideration with co-workers.. had one experience in this place for never again! STRONGLY DO NOT RECOMMEND!!

Lovely hosts, fish is always cooked perfectly and they have a great vegan menu.

Visited as part of the Algarve Rota Do Petisco 2019
We had the chicken curry with beer. The curry was excellent!
The restaurant is in a central location on the Praia Da Rocha with excellent views of the beach from where we were eating.
The staff were very polite and friendly and I would definitely recommend this place

Une terrasse avec une vue magnifique sur la plage. Nous avons dégusté des poissons grillés (bar et dorade) de toute fraîcheur. Les desserts sont faits maison et délicieux. Un accueil chaleureux Je recommande

The food when we eventually got it was reasonably good. The service here is very, very slow and the menu is very limited. Will not be returning.

Good vegan options and a nice view. The strawberries in the main dish may seem a bit strange at first, but it was quite tasty. Very good seitan and tofu. It is not always possible to pay by card, but an ATM is nearby.

Con todo lo bueno que pueda decir, estoy seguro y me quedo corto, es un excelente restaurante, una atencion espectacular, con unas vistas inigualables y como refente de una cocina sin lugar a duda impresionante. El Restaurante Safari se convertira en una parada obligatoria cada vez que vuelva a Portimao. Recomiendo el ceviche de platano que me dejo mudo, necesitaba todos mis sentidos para seguir deleitando tal capricho. felicidades y hasta pronto.

I have been comng to Praia da Rocha for 30 years. This is the best restaurant in town! Delicious food from a good menu (no burghers), a lovely atmosphere and they now have a vegan menu. There is the bonus of a seaview!

Favorite spot in Portimao. Amazing views, best food i had in the Algarves. highly recommended should not be missed. from the chicken curry to the almond desert. everything was super yummy. house chill music in the background. can't say enough good stuff about it. will return for sure.

Eten was niet lekker. De steak was bijna zo dun als een varkenslapje. De lagoustine was taai, overgaar en hierdoor moeilijk uit fe schaal te krijgen. Na 2x te vragen zou men.dit oplossen. zonder overleg heb ik een ander gerecht gekregen. Gewone scampi's in pikante saus. Deze waren lekker maar heel pikant. Nog 2 andere tafels langs ons waren ook niet tevreden. Wij hadden tafeltjes beneden, dus geen mooi uitzicht en werden constant vergeten. Dan kan men beter alleen boven de tafeltjes doen. Zo was het niet aangenaam !!

We went to have dinner and didn't booked a table but there were a third of tables free, so we seated immediately. It took one full hour (not an estimation, watch checked) from seating to the arrival of the dishes. If this waiting time is expected, I prefer to be warned in advance. The tagliatelle with shrimps and curry chicken were absolutely delicious. Nobody complains about been so late.

Best food in town! Back part has seaside view and outside seating. Great family restaurant, super nice owner. Quality, fresh ingredients. Definitely eat there, the place gets overshadowed by neighboring bars but it's a gem!

Excelente comida, muito saborosa, do melhor que há na praia da Rocha. O ambiente é calmo, tem vista para o mar, o serviço é muito atencioso e prestável. Vale a pena comer o caril de frango que é maravilhoso, o caril de camarão e o bife de espadarte.

Magnífico restaurante en Portimao con terraza con vistas al mar. Tienen un menú vegano delicioso y sorprendente. Tomamos el ceviche de banana, el curry de verduras y el seitán con arroz de fresa. Maravilloso. Bebimos agua, un poco cara, eso sí. Lo demás, excelente relación calidad - precio. Una gran sorpresa totalmente recomendable.

Personnel au top, gentil et aux petits soins. Je recommande vivement, on dîne avec vue sur la mer, dans une ambiance lounge et loin du bruit de la rue. Les plats sont bons avec des prix très corrects au vu de la qualité de la prestation.

Not worth my money. I ordered Lulas and it was hard and not tasty at all, felt like wasted my money. My boyfriend orderd the Angolan chicken which was also mediocre. The owner of the place was very friendly and nice, enjoyed talking to him.

Sou visitante assíduo do Restaurante Safari na Praia da Rocha e faço sempre planos de voltar. O atendimento é muito bom, o ambiente é familiar e a qualidade dos pratos e serviço é irrepreensível. Destaque para os elementos étnicos da decoração do espaço e para fantástica vista.

L'accueil est bon, les plats sont corrects mais sans plus. Le point positif, c'est le point de vue. Attention l'addition peut monter très vite pour un repas complet. C'est toujours le prix à payer sur le front de mer.

Es war super lecker! Besonders die veganen Gerichte waren super! Kann ich nur weiterempfehlen.
Die Bedienung war super nett, wir haben uns etwas unterhalten und Äpfel vom eigenen Hof geschenkt bekommen (Grüße gehen raus an Francisco ;D)

Als je een uitzicht wil terwijl je zalig kan eten?Dan is dit de plaats. Híer kan je de beste Cataplana in de buurt eten zalig. Je moet je niet laten tegen houden door de ingang het restaurant zelf is echt goed.

Very very poor experience. 45min wait on our food and this was the plate I received. This was swordfish, which honestly was not unpleasant however I couldn’t taste the fish for so much sauce. As you can see from the presentation, this is pretty poor for a ‘restaurant’. With so many options nearby. Don’t go hear.

Food was really nice, so were the staff, but the staff were very forgetful which is why this was only a 3 star experience. If you asked for anything (e.g. drinks, Bill, etc) you would have to ask twice for it and/or wait for at least half an hour to actuslly be brought it. We end up sitting there just waiting for the bill at the end for about 45 minutes without any drinks in front of us, causing me to drop stars

Hier weer super lekker gegeten. Ook de cocktails en nagerechten waren super. Het is wel achteraan te doen met zicht op de zee. Voor in de zaak (Bar!), aan de straatkant is het te lawaaierig en druk.

Draußen wird für Cocktails geworben...drin schaut der Kellner verdutzt bei der Bestellung. Es gab genau drei zur Auswahl. Unsere beiden haben geschmeckt. Bei der Rechnung wurde einfach mal ein höherer Preis als auf der Karte abgerechnet. Beim Nachfragen erzählte der Chef eine Geschichte....Das war nix. Hier gehen wir nicht wieder hin.

Ich war vor 14 Jahren schonmal hier und dieses kleine Restaurant ist mir einfach im Gedächtnis geblieben, sodass ich gestern mal wieder dort war!
Das Essen ist sehr lecker und der Service unglaublich freundlich!
Nächstes Jahr kommen wir definitiv wieder ☺

Wir sind ein, zwei mal dran vorbeigegangen und es macht von außen nicht so den besten Eindruck.
Aber heute waren wir drin und haben hinten auf der Terasse gesessen.
Der Service war super freundlich und das Essen hat spitze geschmeckt. Ich hatte die "Seafood Tagliatelle" und sie waren der Hammer!
Ich kann es nur empfehlen!

... Que dire... Francisco,Beto, Bruno... Un poème, un pays, une gastronomie réunis à eux trois ! Un lieu aussi agréable que dépaysant, une cuisine inspirée, inspirante, délicieuse, un goût de reviens-y. Nous y sommes allés 2 soirs de suite. Les hommes de la maison sont gentils, accueillants, charmants avec les grands et les petits. Bref notre coup de cœur du Portugal... Merci nous terminons notre séjour sur cette très jolie note !

Restaurante de calidad con vistas al mar. Tiene una terraza interior con muy buena pinta,pero a nosotros nos coincidió en diciembre y no la usamos,además tuvimos algo de frío en el interior. La comida bien preparada y de calidad. El servicio algo lento pero no es algo exagerado. El precio es moderado -alto

Nos trataron muy bien y, siendo un restaurante a pie de playa, se esforzaron porque todo estuviera a gusto. Tienen baños propios con cambiador de bebés (un plus). Y el hombre que nos atendió estuvo muy atento. Las sardinas muy ricas (ojo porque vienen 5 y esto es así en Portugal, al menos en el sur) y el pescado del día normal, todo con su ensalada.

Por lo visto esa zona tuvo problemas con plaga de ratas hace poco (espero que hayan actuado bien), tardaron un poco más de la cuenta y unos amigos perdieron un tren a una entrevista de trabajo. Buenas vistas. Por lo demás bien

Lovely Restaurant with a wonderful view to the beach (if you sit outside by the veranda in the back) . Service was really friendly and charming. Food is really delicious!! I had the swordfish and it was, in my eyes, flawless. In other words : Really tasty!

Un accueil très agréable, une réelle envie de faire plaisir. Un discours enjoleur plein de poésie aussi agréable que le cadre de la petite terrasse qui donne sur l ancienne promenade de la Praia da Rocha, face à la mer. L assiette est satisfaisante avec une réelle transparence sur les produits frais ou non. Dans le verre les cocktails à base d extraction de jus sont au top avec des associations surprenantes qui fonctionnent très bien autant en apéritif qu en shooter avec un peu de rhum après le repas. Merci encore pour cette dégustation partagée.
