Deducting one star for value. Food, wine and service are excellent although it is a bit overpriced. Apart from that can't fault it.

Had dinner here last night and really really enjoyed it. We ordered a starter to share (scallops) and the rack of lamb and steak for main. We were given two courses prior to the starter one with the most delicious marinated olives I’ve ever eaten, a caprese salad and cured ham. Amazing. Then another course of crepes with cheese and caviar. The shared scallops starter was plated up separately for us and was really fresh and the scallops were beautifully cooked. The lamb was the best I’ve ever had it was more tender even than the fillet steak which was like butter itself. As we were struggling to choose sauces the waiter suggest we have all of them at no extra cost. He was so helpful and polite the service was amazing and the house red so delicious we had two bottles. Including a generous tip it was 110€ and was worth every penny. The decor is kind of old school Portuguese although the food it quite french. I can’t wait to go back!

Do not pass up on a chance to visit this restaurant. The food is simply superb. Chef Viktor is amazing and Sergio has to be the best Host ever. Truly a great experience !

Lugar tranquilo buen ambiente

I remain unconvinced, this is a restaurant that can’t recognise its own identity, old fashioned interior, drab on the outside, nice food if you like old traditional Portuguese and. It really VFM. Shame as the lads working there seem lovely

Sergio the chef and owner was delightful and served us a beautiful dinner and recommended tasty local Portugese wines. I was delighted to taste Portuguese steak and was so good the four of us returned a second time! A big thank you from Ireland Sergio!

Wer nicht das übliche will, in einem sehr kleinen feinem Restaurant mit sehr netten Gastgebern und Speisen in bester Qualität, nach original portugiesischen Rezepten zubereitet, ist hier völlig richtig. Übrigens die Weinkarte, mit regionalen Winzern ist Mega! Und die Preise...ein Witz. 4 Gang Menü mit allen Getränken 55.00 Euro. Aber Achtung. Das Lokal ist so klein und unscheinbar, das wir mehrfach dran vorbei gelaufen sind, bis wir die Michellin Aufkleber an der Tür fanden.

Certainly the best restaurant in Praia da Luz. Try the couvert which changes each day. Good choice of classic meat and fish dishes. Desserts excellent.

It is a small restaurant, but make no mistake. This restaurants is a gem. The food is in a class of it's own. Cooked to perfection with a taste . No wonder it is in Michelin's book of restaurants. PS You better make a reservation

Amazing as ever . Visit to luz is never complete without a visit to this wonderful restaurant . The food is well deserved of the Michelin star. Serge and his brother are perfect hosts to what is always an evening of fine food fine wine and first class service .

Excellent restaurant portugais. Produits bien choisis, présentation soignée. Le goût est au rendez-vous. Service attentionné. Au final un petit restaurant qui ne paie pas de mine mais qui change bien agréablement des restaurants à touristes industriels de la région.

Accueuil chaleureux. Service attentionné. Excellent repas. Entrée , pain et porto comme digestif offert gratieusement. Un des meilleurs repas au Portugal.

Exzellente Küche und erstklassiger Service was man beim ersten Eindruck nicht ahnt. Vorspeisen der Küche einfach gesagt "super lecker". Die anderen Rezessionen bestätigen ja nur das es einen Besuch wert ist.

Just spectacular! The service was top-notch and extremely friendly/courteous. The food was next level and the vibe was very authentic. For the area it might cost a little more money but for an American abroad it was a steal for the quality of dining! Highly recommend this place!

Wow, as good as any Michelin star restaurant I have being to. Amazing food and excellent service. It is a credit to the owners!
