Une très bonne soirée. Nous avons très bien dîner. Les plats sont très copieux et très bons. Le poisson de 1ere fraîcheur.
Nous y étions un vendredi soir et avons pu écouter du fado: très agréable. Des cessions de 10 mn avec des pauses qui permettent de profiter à la fois du repas et de la musique.
Les prix nous ont parus tout à fait corects: 60€ pour entrée, plats, un dessert pour deux et une bouteille de vin.

Buena comida, personal atento. Muy visitado por gente de la zona. Calidad precio bien. Platos ricos, ricos. Por la noche cantan fado, esto último no lo pude comprobar, estuve a mediodía.

Great food, nice waiters and excelent service!! average price per dish around 10-15 euros, a bit higher than general “confeitaria” in Portugal but worthwhile.
They use Lavazza from Italy, and I have to admit that it’s better than many portuguese coffee brands.

We got out food 1.5h after we entered the place.
15 min to get a menu, another 15 min to order and then 1h to get food. During that time we were asking multiple time for a menu and our food. Monkfish with prawns was delicious but we wouldn't decide to eat there if we knew how long it would take to get it.
Overall suggestion is that it would be a prefect place for early dinner not the late one.

Viajabamos en grupo, y nos atendieron muy bien, la comida estaba rica especialmente el Bacalao a bras, el restaurante es muy agradable, y está situado en una zona céntrica.

La terraza es muy acogedora y los camareros amables pero me siento engañada hemos pedido pulpo a la vinagreta y el pulpo era de lata y además estaba súper blando por lo demás que pedimos muy bueno.

Ok place to have lunch. Nice food like you can expect in Portugal. Shad d by trees so you get some respite from the sun. People watching and grilled fish. No complaints.
Deserts are not the forte but after a meal you may not have room left for more than a coffee.
Try and sit closer to the mini preco to avoid the traffic of cars.

Très bons plats traditionnels portugais, et service très agréable (la plupart des serveurs parlent un très bon français). Les plats de morue sont particulièrement bons. Les prix sont très honnêtes et le cadre très agréable.

Une soirée très agréable autour de cette table situé sur une charmante petite place de pavés.
Nous avons pris pour 2, le cataplana d'algarve (un délicieux plat cuit à l'étoufée mélangeant gambas, fruits de mer et porc)!
Une mention spéciale pour "Jean" le serveur totalement bilingue et d'une rare amabilité qui conseille sur les plats et apporte bonne humeur et convivialité !
Pour résumer, excellente qualité produits et sercivce génial !

Lovely outdoor seating with attentive servers for lunch. Fantastic red sangria! Had AMAZING fried octopus with mushroom risotto cooked to perfection. Octopus was so tender and the risotto had great consistency and seasoning. Highly recommend!

Even if the food is good, the customer service is horrible. We wait almost 30 min for someone to bring us the menu and we had to ask for it (we weren't the only table with that problem) After more than one hour waiting we finally had our dinner, but when we finished it no one came to ask if we would like to have a dessert or coffee. Asking for the bill twice finally we went to the cashdesk to pay there and get away from the place. Waiters never smiled or came to check on us, the staff was not enough for all the tables. Really disappointed.

Servicio al cliente pesimo, fuimos un Viernes, noche de Fado y esperamos mas de 30 min que nos trajeran el menu, que acabamos pidiendo nosotros. Tras 1'15 h de espera nos traen la comida, que estaba muy bien hay que decir. Cuando acabamos, tras otros 20 minutos vienen a retirarnos los platos y aun estoy esperando que nos pregunten si queremos postre. Pedimos la cuenta dos veces y al final nos levantamos a pagar a la barra. Ni una sonrisa o preguntar si todo estuvo bien por parte de nadie. 3 camareros para todo el local, muy deficiente, es la primera vez que espero tanto para comer, solo por el fado no lo recomendaria, hay mucho que mejorar.

O espaço interior é muito característico, bonito e acolhedor, é bastante grande mas está organizado em várias áreas menores e interligadas entre si, além disso possui uma esplanada exterior num espaço de jardim. A cozinha é óptima com uma oferta bastante variada sobretudo em pratos de peixe e marisco tradicionais da região do Algarve. Os grelhados também são excelentes e o peixe é sempre fresco. O nível do serviço está adequado à qualidade geral do restaurante que de resto é bastante boa. Às sextas-feira têm fado cantado ao vivo durante o jantar. Por fim quero apenas acrescentar que aconselho vivamente uma visita a este restaurante.

Esperaba otra cosa del restaurante pero me ha sorprendido muy gratamente. Las cuatro personas que hemos ido hemos pedido platos diferentes, todas a cual más rico. El rape al horno un espectáculo. Todo ello acompañado de cante de fado acompañado por dos guitarras. No solo eso sino que había cantantes que salían a improvisar. Iré de nuevo. Altamente recomendable y a muy buen precio. Inmejorable

Excelente comida, esmero no preparo e apresentação do prato e ótimo atendimento. É possível fazer as refeições no interior do restaurante ou na "esplanada", como eles chamam o ambiente externo.

Como nos hemos puesto mi mujer y yo!!!!! Exquisito, que bajolao y que solomillo de buey, tardan un poco en servir, pero es porque lo preparan al momento, la atención buenísima, se me a caído un poco de aceite en la camisa y el camarero a venido corriendo con un bote de esos de quitamanchas, recomendable 100%100

Food poorly made, I ordered a black angus burger, and basically was supermarket food. The water bottle was from a supermarket private label (dia%). Also the mood from the waiters wasn’t that great between them.

We had an amazing time in Faro and wanted to wrap it up in a nice fish restaurant. If you plan to do the same, don’t go to this place. Sardine paste for the starter came pre-packed from the supermarket. Fish soup was only a tomato soup with noodles and a tiny bit of fish - tasted like canned soup.
Mussels did not taste fresh at all, let’s hope we won’t be sick.
We had to wait a long time for each and every interaction with the staff. The restaurant was rather empty that evening. Also the to waiters did not really communicate and seemed to actually not like each other at all.
When asking for the bill we decided to go to the entrance after 10 minutes waiting for the change and found the waiter standing outside playing on her phone.

A resposta do responsável do restaurante diz tudo.... Quando, reclamámos deitaram as culpas sobre o empregado que nos serviu, queria obrigar o empregado a pagar o que reclamámos, quando a culpa da qualidade da cozinha diz respeito ao responsável e ao cozinheiro.
Oferecemos o valor que foi descontado ao empregado em questão, no caso de ter sido obrigado a pagar...
Enfim....
Quando não admitimos os nossos erros, estamos a passos largos de perder tudo.

Un lugar muy agradable y céntrico. Comimos pescado y marisco y era de muy buena calidad. En especial me gustó la brocheta de pulpo (foto).

Estuvimos comiendo un mediodía después de buscar restaurantes con la cocina todavía abierta por la hora y fue la elección perfecta. Comimos solo pescados y mariscos y estaba todo riquísimo. Un sitio tranquilo, céntrico y agradable. Muy buen servicio, nos enseñaron los pescados frescos sacados de la nevera para poder elegir mejor.

This is the best place I've been to that serve the most delicious fish dishes. From the Monkfish Kebab with Shrimp, to the Grilled Swordfish to the Tuna Steak, absolute perfection! Highly recommend this place to all who come Faro and want to have the local cuisine

ce restaurant était 1 minute à pied d’où nous étions. L’entrée est très petite par rapport à la taille du restaurant. Nous avons pris une soupe de poisson et des gambas grillées comme entrée. La soupe de poisson est base de la tomate fraîche et les poissons frais, bon mais sans plus. Par contre, Gambas ne sont des pièces frais. L’accueil est sympa, le service est aimable. Ce n’est pas un lieu de must to go.

Sehr netter und aufmerksamer Service. Das Essen war unglaublich; der kulinarische Höhepunkt unserer Ferien. Zu Beginn einen Gruss aus der Küche, sehr lecker, von Vorspeise bis Dessert war alles perfekt. Kurze Wartezeiten (es war nicht sehr voll). Der Platz ist sehr schön.

We came here due to its high ratings online and we were not disappointed. The seafood here is fresh, and the portion sizes are huge :D we ordered the grilled salmon and monkfish with shrimp rice.
The salmon was so fresh it didn't really require any additional seasoning and was served with a bit of salt and some lemon. It was absolutely delicious and they give you a very reasonable portion! The monkfish and shrimp rice was also very tasty, with subtle tomato flavours and nice pieces of fish, prawns and clams in it. I would say this portion might even be enough to serve two people, or one with a big appetite :D
All in all, it is a fantastic place to visit if you are looking for some great Portuguese food for a great price! Definitely not expensive considering the amount they serve you :)

If you are looking for great sea food, I would definitely recommend this restaurant. The food portions were huge and it wasnt pricy at all knowing that the food was fresh and so delicious. We ordered grilled salmon and monkfish rice, both being really good. The service was also professional and they had an English menu. We are planning on coming back there again.

Great Service (which is not a given in Portugal), family restaurant, delicious fresh seafood perfectly cooked! I had Octopus rice and my husband had Octopus and shrimp kabob, we both loved our food and had so much fun with our funny waiter. We also had a gmy sangria made with cinnamon and local dessert with real whipped cream. Totally recommend!

Bon service. Nous sommes venues à 8 (France) et avons bien mangé. Pour ma part j'ai pris la morue lagareiro bien servi mais fade sinon le polvo à lagareiro, bacalhau à bras et costeletas de cabrito super bon. Je recommande.

Extremely fresh grilled sea bass.. it was early when the guy was setting up the seating outside on a roundabout.. I’m glad we stayed and waited!! Fish was super fresh, beef on hot stone was tender and duck breast was superb too!!!..the whole presentation was just amazing!!.. and needless to say the waiters were super attentive.. they actually went around asking if everything was ok!! Joan our waiter thumbs up!!!!

Very lively authentic place, it was busy but still good service, the portion sizes are big and great value for money. Would recommend reserving a table to avoid disappointment; we went on a Friday night and there was live music which just added to the experience.

Restaurante típico donde los viernes se puede escuchar cantar Fados. Comida aceptable y la actuación de los cantantes, fueron 3, fue amena y nada molesta ya que cada uno cantaba tres canciones y paraban un rato, con lo que no se hace nada pesado. Es necesario reservar, ya que está muy solicitado.

Fado köken olarak denize açılanların uzun süre veya hiç dönmemesi sebebiyle eşlerinin veya sevgililerinin arkalarından söyledikleri ağıt ya da hasret şarkıları. We had the octopus cataplana and fried squid. Both were delicious, with generous servings. The staff was superb, helpful and very friendly. It would have been even nicer if the cataplana was served with some bread to eat with the stew. But you can order bread separately. Would definitely recommend!

Great experience last night. Our waiter, Telmo was very attentive and we had a very delicious mushroom risotto with breaded squid and sword fish.

What a great reastarant we visited during our stay in Faro !!!! Food is just wonderful !!!! Service is excellent! We had dinner there twice and highly recommend this place to try!!! You won't be disappointed!!!

La comida bien, el precio razonable , pero la atención pésima : una hora esperando , se equivoca de plato y me dicen que les he engañado, rectifican pero se vuelven a equivocar de plato con la mesa de al lado. Es imprescindible que cuiden la atención al cliente y el tiempo en el servicio si quieren ser restaurante y no un comedero.

Très bon accueil par des serveurs souriants et parlant très bien français.
En octobre avec 26° il est agréable de dîner dehors sur cette petite place.
Les brochettes poulet crevettes sont excellentes et très bien présentées.
Seul regret : Pas de porc à la portugaise.
Un peu plus d'attente après z1h30 quand il y a eu du monde.

For being a "centenary" restaurant they still have a lot of things to learn.
The dishes were decent but nothing special (especially for that price). The swordfish was pretty good. The service was not very careful, especially the elder woman, who's been very unkind. The young, instead was very polite and professional (she also makes a very good coffee). The most awful part were the ANTS in the bread canest...really disgusting...and they didn't even apologize.

Piège a touristes ,très longue attente ,j'ai demandé s'il prennent la carte bleu international ,réponse oui ,arrivé a la caisse non ,bref les plats sont bon le personnel agréable mais une attente d une 1 mini pour les clients

Ottima cucina specialmente pesce, peccato per i dolci che sono quelli della carte d'or. Scarsa considerazione, anche se dopo aver ordinato l'attesa è minima.

Le risotto champignons pané de poulpe qui baigne dans l'eau, l'erreur grossière et sûrement volontaire sur l'addition. Ça vaut pas plus de 3 (et je suis sympa car le service était bien)

Cons: Incompetent staff, very messy service (expecially the elderly lady), sufficient quality of the food (especially fish).

Certains serveurs parlant français sont tous adorables et serviables. Efficaces dans le service on y mange bien dans un cadre en terrasse sous des arbres. Produise du Fado certains soirs. Ne pas rater ce restaurant

Très bon restaurant aux recettes locales. Nous avons testé la cataplana aux fruits de mer (une sorte de bouillabaisse cuite dans un récipient à couvercle). Et un gâteau aux figues et au chocolat. Le service était très bien (avec des serveurs parlant un français parfait).

Excellente adresse, le porc à la Portugaise est un véritable délice. Le personnel est vraiment agréable, aux petits soins, le rapport qualité/prix est là. Beau cadre en plein centre ville de Faro avec terrasse ombragée... Je vous recommande ce restaurant sans hésiter.

Unter schattigen Bäumen, ist dieser Gastgarten ein Geheimtipp für Faro. Das Gedeck ersetzt die Vorspeise und die Hauptgerichte sind so gut und ausreichend, dass sich noch nie ein Dessert ausgegangen ist

Dank je Dario, voor de moeite om Nederlands te spreken.
Bij de 2e passage was het een beetje een teleurstelling. Toen was het drukker en had ik het gevoel dat we - in tegenstelling tot vorige keer- de zoveelste toerist om uit te buiten waren.
Het eten was minstens even lekker, de garçons even vriendelijk ,maar het fijne gevoel was wel.
Jammer.
Ik heb gecorrigeerd naar 4 sterren nadat ik na de eerste keer in volle overtuiging 5 sterren had gegeven.
NB het eten blijft super lekker.

Fuimos a comer porque habíamos leído unas buenas críticas. Pedimos cataplana de rape que fue un increíble acierto, estaba realmente bueno. El servicio estaba atento a pesar del jaleo que tenían con todas las mesas. Calidad-precio excelente y está cerca del puerto y de la zona más pintoresca de la ciudad.

We had Octopus and cod "à Lagareiro", both were delicious. The restaurant was full of locals and the waiter was very helpful with recommending the food and the vinho verde. We were very satisfied with the portion size, and the price was excellent.

the restaurant is across the street from the famous Dois Irmaos restaurant. the reviews for 2 Irmaos are very mixed and i was nervous to pull the trigger. Centenario was great. the gentleman at the front door seemed to be the owner and if you arrive early (they open around 7) then there are no locals there yet and they can spend time with you. he assured us that he would be honest and do us right, which he did. there were 3 adults in our party and he suggested 2 entrees and a started, which was well sufficient. the Paella was really good. not the very best ever, but delicious. our total bill was Euro 62.50, which is pretty average. i think the man we dealt with was Fernando. his English was basic, but was enough. enjoy this place! Temps de attends pour un paella 45m chrono, serveur francophone trés amiable et gentil mais ils est pour rien cest pas ça faute si en cuisine prends 45m pour chauffer au microondes une paella surgelée.

Anche noi siamo venuti qui su consiglio (ottimo) di helena. Si mangia molto bene il pesce. Ottimo polpo, baccalà, bistecca di tonno e maiale con le vongole. Prezzi ottimi. Da evitare gli antipasti (come in quasi tutti i rist portoghesi)

Contrairement à tous les commentaires élogieux, ce restaurant n'est pas extraordinaire mais correcte. Chère par rapport à de vrais restaurants portugais (prix pour touristes, mais encore abordable par rapport à la FR). Passez votre route, vous trouverez mieux ailleurs.

Lo encontramos por casualidad.... Y dos veces que hemos ido a faro, dos veces que hemos ido....
Atmósfera especial, con fados en directo, y una buena comida típica de la zona.
No es barato, pero tampoco de los mas caros.
Recomiendo ir un día que tenga musica n directo
