Très bel emplacement, ce qui explique peut être les tarifs... Nous avons pris la "spécialité" du restaurant: le plat de crevettes, les commentaires laissés sur Google disaient fantastiques, "amazing" ... Mouais... Je sais pas ou ils ont l'habitude de manger... Mais pour vous décrire le plat 12 crevettes (12.50€) dans du beurre fondu avec de l'ail des épices, rien de terrible et pas d'accompagnement ( pas de riz) éventuellement du pain... Pour notre fils nous avons pris un Hamburger frites à 8.90€ et nous avons eu des frites avec deux steaks hachés "ah bon vous vouliez du pain avec? Je peux vous en ramener si vous voulez.. ", nous avons également pris un pichet de sangria à 13€ et un jus de pomme à 3€.. Voilà pour notre expérience qui nous laissera un petit goût amer et salé 48€... Quant à Google merci de bien vouloir retirer le fait que ce soit "Bon marché" ... Le rapport qualité/ prix nest pas au rendez-vous. Les tarifs pratiqués sont bien au dessus de la moyenne portugaise .

We were disappointed by our first few meals on the Algarve - overpriced and mediocre seafood for tourists (our restaurant selections were based on a lot of research!). We actually ended up eating at The Green Room two times, which is a fun and tasty Mexican restaurant in Lagos.
But Bar Quim was a delight. The setting is superb: right on the sand at Meia Praia, with a beautiful view of the ocean. And the house prawns are prepared in a most expert way. Deliciously savoury, garlicky, with a little spice, and only EUR 12,50 per person. You cannot go wrong ordering these along with a little jug of vinho verde - highly recommended!
Note that the kitchen closes daily at 4pm so lunch only.

Superb large prawns on a skewer cooked very well. Not expecting this from a beach bar. Only downfall was the number of dogs around

No good ! The food are expensive. We waited the food for around 1 hr more ....we ordered three main dishes , when the food was arrived . They missed one, so crazy ......after that , we tried to order another dishes , they said need to wait a long time and suggested us to order the simple food. I asked them to give us one portion of rice, they said all were finished and gave us some hard bread. Very bad experience....when we arrived there around 1:15 pm and the food was come at 2:45pm .

Als je hier komt eten doe je dat echt voor het garnalengerecht dat ze hier hebben. Heerlijk voorbereid met knoflook en koriander. Voor de rest is het personeel ook heel aardig. Echt een goede tijd gehad hier.

Traumhaft gelegen, mit tollem Essen. Unbedingt die Garnelen probieren, dann kommt Urlaubsfeeling auf. Preislich furdie Lage und das Essen, vollkommen in Ordnung.

Petit resto de plage ou l'accueil est sympathique,la vue magnifique et les prix reste très corrects
La carte propose un large choix de plats mais suivant l'humeur de la cuisine certains ne sont pas servis.
La spécialité de la maison est une cassollette de crevettes beurre d'ail et piri piri (piment)c'est excellent mais attention c'est assez relevé
Victime de son succès penser à réserver une table pour manger en extérieur et soyer patient pour être servi ( vous êtes en vacances)
Resto ouvert que le midi et n'accepte pas les cartes de crédit uniquement casch.

Un oasis en el desierto. Ubicado junto a una bella playa de arena fina y enormes conchas. No dejen de disfrutar la especialidad de la casa, el camarón o uno de los pescados del día. Atención agradable y profesional. Disfruten de un baño en la playa de agua clara y por favor no recojan conchas de la orilla hacen del lugar algo especial.

Vistas e proximidade de praia.
Pratos caros. 7 camarões por 15 euros como entrada . Funcionárias sempre com má cara e pouco disponíveis. Atendimento mal gerido e demorado. Se não tão com vontade de trabalhar nem atenderem bem as pessoas ponham se a andar daí.

Really good place to have a great dinner. Order the specials, ask if they have clams. Conqueilla. Tiny little butterfly clams in garlic, magnificent. Lovely smiley staff. Say I said potatoes are free when Portugal scores a goal!

Nice setting with good service. Food looked good but I did not eat. Just had a drink with a wonderful view of the beach. A little bit on the expensive side but then..you are on the beach.

Direkt am Strand, toller Ausblick. Hab mir mal einen Fleischspiess für 18€ gegönnt, sah gut aus, waren aber nicht die besten Fleischstücke, z. T. sehr fettig. Fischsuppe war ok, Thunfischsteak war gut. Großes Bier 3,00€ fair. Personal war freundlich, bezahlen mit Karte möglich.

Unpleasant waitress showed us to a table, given menus then toally ignored us. Other customers arrived had their tables prepared almost immediately and were served their drinks. Tried to catch her eye a few times without success so we left.

Llegamos con el bar lleno (todas las mesas ocupadas) y tras 10 minutos esperando a que alguien nos dirija la palabra lo hacemos nosotros:
- hola!! ¿Para esperar una mesa para dos?
- coge la que quieras (señalando con desgana la sala llena y girándose inmediatamente despues)
Pues nada, parece que no tienen ganas de trabajar ni de tratar bien a los clientes.

Buenos camarones especialidad de la casa, tiene un precio muy razonable para la zona ya que no hay mucho más. Estaba todo buenísimo, la atención muy bien una señora encantadora, otra no tanto casi no comemos allí por eso, pero finalmente decidimos quedarnos pk no había más que otro restaurante y la espera era de una hora. Así que fue una buena opción

Le point fort de ce restaurant est son cadre, face à une plage magnifique, aucun bruit, juste la mer et le sable.
L'accueil : ils parlent à minima portugais, anglais et français. La dame que je suppose être la patrone est disons efficace mais pas très aimable. Une serveuse, française est en revanche très aimable.
Les plats : compter 13€ par plat, un peu moins pour les burgers (burgers portugais = steak acheté frites, mais vous pouvez demander les burgers dans du pain). La spécialité est les crevettes poêlées, aille et huile d'olive. C'est bon mais pas très copieux (surtout pour le Portugal).
Bref, ce n'est pas la table du siècle, mais le cadre est tellement bien que je pourrais y manger tous les jours.

A service so bad and a staff so rude it felt surreal
I would have loved to put 4 stars (the prawns were delicious) but I was extremely shocked by the rudeness of the staff. The waitress only came to seat us after 10 minutes, without even a hello. When we started to tell her our order, she suddenly left to talk to her colleagues and came back without any apologies ... My friend was about to ask for a drink and she just looked at her and told us to shut up ("shhh").
Worst service I've had in Portugal and maybe in my life...

Hay una cierta inconsistencia ente los comentarios publicados y el chiringuito en si.. son 2 chiringuitos uno junto al otro.. y no aparecen así en Google Maps... La impresión es que los comentarios y fotos se refieren al otro..

Situado en la plena playa de Meia, el chiringuito ofrece una comida de muchísima calidad a un precio súper ajustado, algo impensable en España dado que en ese trozo de playa solo hay dos restaurantes, que se llenan, con lo que podrían atizar más con los precios. La camarera muy simpática hablaba Español. El pollo no estaba mal, pero desde luego el sitio es mejor para comer pescado.

Comida muy sosa, sin sabor. Pedí el pollo a la plancha, el plato del día, y como acompañamiento solo tenía un montón de patatas fritas congeladas. El único sitio en Portugal donde no me pusieron ensalada. No aceptan tarjeta.

Emplacement au top, les pieds dans le sable ! Les serveuses parlent français et sont d’une extrême gentillesses.
La spécialité est juste au top ! Un plat d’une quinzaine de crevettes pour 12€ (hyper raisonnable pour un restaurant de plage)
Tous les produits sont frais !
Je recommande a 100%

Restaurant sur la plage, très bon accueil.
Serveuses parlant Français, aux petits soins. Dorade grillée pour 13€ excellente et le plat de crevettes avec une sauce légèrement relevée très bon aussi pour 12,50 €.
Très bon moment, quand c'est bien faut le dire.

wir waren hier an einem Mittag am Strand und haben lediglich eine Fischsuppe gegessen - diese war unglaublich lecker (besser als im Restaurant auf der anderen Seite) jedoch finde ich das Ambiente sehr ungemütlich und kühl / eher wie in einem Kiosk

Friendly service and great views overlooking Meia Praia. The house speciality, prawns, are the thing to have. Juicy in there own sizzling pot, cooked in garlic coriander and chilli. Enjoy!

I love this place. I usually get there only a drink so I can't really say much about the food but the location is just perfect and staff is lovely. Two tables are on the sand, plenty of tables outside on patio and a few inside. All of them have a beatiful ocean view. I go there with kids which are playing in the sand next to my table while I enjoy my coffee and pastel de nata. Definitely recommended.

Restaurante en la playa. Comida buena aunque raciones algo escasas.
En esta zona de la playa hay 2 restaurantes: en uno el trato cuando fuimos a preguntar dejó bastante que desear, por lo que nos decantamos por Bar Quim, y la verdad es que creo que acertamos. Tomamos unos calamares, unas sardinas y los niños unas hamburguesas. Las raciones son pequeñas (la mitad de la ración de calamares son patatas fritas y sin embargo las hamburguesas de los niños no traían patatas, por lo que tuvimos que pedirlas aparte), pero la comida realmente está rica. Recomiendo este sitio si quieres comer en la playa.

Sem alternativas junto à praia entramos no restaurante e reparamos que somos os únicos portugueses. Pedimos uma sopa, bifana e imperial. Percebo que o pedido tenha outro tipo de prioridade face a pedidos de outra natureza mas a demorar 40 minutos para sermos servido é um pouco demais. Fomos sevidos de uma mini bifana mas estava boa e decidimos pagar. Tudo corre mal quando pedi factura. Percebo que por norma não passem e inclusivé não tenham pagamento por multibanco mas tenho direito a pedir factura sem que me olhem de lado. Paguei quase 15 euros e a factura foi passada a custo. A não voltar!
