The location is excellent with stunning views towards the distant coastline. The food & the service have room for improvement. I had fish dishes twice where portions were that small, that I thought the main course is yet to come. Pork shops not well done, being served half raw. By mentioning this to the staff, nothing happened to satisfy the customer.

Restaurante recente, mas veio conquistar e surpreender tudo e todos. Fica na estrada de São Bartolomeu de Messines em direcção a Silves. Temos uma vista panorâmica quando chegamos e nos sentamos na sala de almoços e jantares. Ao mesmo tempo a melhor cozinheira da vila começa a preparar o nosso manjar. Hoje decidimos provar uma ementa gastronómica completamente tradicional. Começamos por ovos com farinheira, lombo na banha e pão recheado. Para prato principal pedimos entrecosto com migas, e polvo à messinense. Aconselho sinceramente qualquer pessoa a experimentar. Tenho a certeza que quem experimenta é "obrigado" a repetir a experiência. Cozinha de panela é a especialidade da casa. Preços muito em conta, excelente atendimento, convém ligar para marcar devido ao sucesso que o restaurante tem. Aconselho vivamente. 5 estrelas João Zambujo

Dieses Restaurant beschränkt sich auf einen schönen Ausblick, leider. Das Essen ist mäßig. Der Salat wird vergessen. Die Butter ist ranzig. Das Schweinefleisch wird rare serviert, also innen roh! Geht gar nicht bei Schwein. Niemand fragt Mal nach, ob alles i.O. ist.. es gibt keinen Nachschlag, wenn die Portion zu dünn war.. Hier wird allerdings gutes Weißbrot serviert, was man nach dem Hauptgericht auch braucht, um satt zu werden. Eher nicht zu empfehlen, bei so vielen guten Restaurants in der Nähe.

Um local muito acolhedor. Ótima comida e vista panorâmica. Staff 5* muito atenciosos. Recomendo

Great place, great food, lovely view and great price. Had piri piri chicken and it was so succulent, home made chips very very nice.

Visited O Guerreiro today for what must be our 6th visit. As usual, the restaurant was spotlessly clean, the welcome warm and friendly, the food excellent, the view far-reaching, and the price unbeatable. We feel we've found a little gem of a restaurant here, and I have no hesitation in recommending it to anyone...it deserves to be successful!

Local muito agradável e pacífico, com esplanada, churrasqueira e sala interior muito bem decorada e uma vista panorâmica de campo muito bonita. Boa comida e excelente serviço.

We came across this restaurant quite by accident and made it a regular stop on our holiday. Food is fabulous, fresh and full of flavour. Paulo and his team are friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend a visit for some authentic Portuguese food and hospitality.
