Good views here and good service. Our server was very friendly at lunch and we decided to come back for dinner. At lunch we got a plate of bread and butter and olives, they did not ask if we wanted it but placed it on our table, we saw on the menu after that it cost money but ended up not being charged. At dinner we were charged for it though, disappointing that they do not share this with you and give you the option to say no. The breads (basically sandwiches) are good, also be aware if they ask you if you want salad or fries, this is also an additional cost. Besides not being transparent with the charges, everything was good and it was a pleasant experience.

We stopped here primarily to have lunch with a view on our last day in Sintra, so were expecting basic food at tourist prices - however we were pleasantly surprised. I ordered the pasteis de bacalao, which were possibly the nicest I'd had all holiday, being crisp outside with a lovely fluffy fishy inside, followed by the Bacalao a bras which was delicious. My only quibble would that I would have liked to have more choice of traditional Portuguese dishes on the menu, which predominantly had toasted sandwiches or burgers.
With regards to other comments here about being charged for olives, bread etc - the plate was brought to us, we said no thanks, it was taken away without a quibble and no charge. They are clearly itemised on the menu as "couvert" and seemed to be common practice across Lisbon and Sintra.
And the view is amazing! Totally worth spending an hour up there away from the busy main square.

Comprámos a refeição completa para dois, através de um voucher da Lifecooler e o serviço, bem como a qualidade dos pratos e sobremesas, foi irrepreensível. Possivelmente, na época alta, o serviço seja mais caótico, no entanto, a nossa experiência foi feliz. Com o voucher, poupámos quase 50% do que pagaríamos sem ele.

Sitio muy acogedor y bonito. Con vistas al paisaje de la zona. Música agradable. Precio medio, te cobran 4€ por aceitunas, pan y mantequilla sin pedirlo. Aún así, la comida está muy buena y el camarero fue muy simpático

Negative 3...thats where put this restaurant at and the only reason it's not lower is because at least we received our order. The nerve of the owner to insult the rest of our party that arrived a few minutes behind us when we had let him know they would be joining us. There was a chance for this place which was covered like a dark cloud that will continue to cast shadow over the property of this restaurant if the owner continues to insult his patrons.
The service was sub par, the food was editable at best and the views were enjoyable. All however were quickly forgotten due to the attitude that was like no other we received in Porto, Lisbon or other restaurants in Cintra.
I would discourage others to avoid this location based on the negative service experience / rudeness from the owner. Even going so far as to insult us to our faces as well left. Avoid avoid avoid.

Nice situated place, but the coffee and food were not so good. We were given also a small starter, but nobody informed us, that we have to pay extra for that. I wouldn't recommend this place.

Lovely views from this bar, however, service very slow and food stops after 5pm and they kick you out at 8pm. Also, bar man brought me two incorrect drinks and then charged me for them even tho I never drank them! Such a shame as great views over Sintra x

Mucho cuidado en este sitio. A pesar de que sintra estaba repleto de gente nos extrañó que la terraza tuviera apenas clientes. Entramos porque era happy hour. Después de tomarnos las copas, la camarera nos trajo la cuenta sin haberla pedido invitando a levantarnos (el lugar repito estaba casi vacío). Para nuestra sorpresa, además incluyó 1,90€ de un ridículo tarro con 8 aceitunas que nos puso el camarero, sin ni siquiera haberlas pedido. Su contestación fue que “es tradición”. Por supuesto no las pagamos.
Si no quieres ser timado te recomiendo no visitar este lugar.

The food was overall good. The service could use some improvements.
One of the plates we got had a ridiculous small amount of fries.
The pastel de nata was bellow average, where you can get better ones from Aldi or Lidl.

Место для одноразового посещения. Полностью туристическое. Вид приятный, лучше - чем сидеть в помещении, как у большинства кафе. Еда средняя, съедобная. Персонал дружелюбный. Смысла комментировать блюда нет, т.к. они действительно средние. Идеально зайти отдохнуть после поездки в крепости в горах. Салат цезарь, сендвич-стейк (prego atum), рыба и картошка (bacalhau bras), 2 вина, пиво, 2 кофе и мороженое - 56€

La comida es buena, el trato amable, pero el acompañamiento te lo cobran aparte, 2'50 por unas pocas patatas y otros 2'50 por un poco de ensalada. Cuando aparentemente está incluido en el precio. Por lo demás todo bien

Terrasse sympa avec belle vue. Cadre agréable pour boire un coup. Si vous souhaitez déjeuner ou dîner, passez votre chemin. PS: la salade de poulpe est une catastrophe très loin des standards des plats typiques portugais !!!

I ordered a Caesar Salad which cost 8,6€ or something close to that. The menu clearly said that it had romaine lettuce in it but I got iceberg lettuce. As you can see on the picture it had very little chicken and bacon and did not look appealing or taste good. Not worth the money at all..
The view was nothing special either, especially if you are anyways planning to visit some of the attractions where the view is so much better.

Very good cocktails. Food was not exceptional but the octopus salad and the desserts were scrummy.
Also had lovely wait staff. Would go back. And the view is an added bonus.

The view is quite good if you’re lucky to get a right table. But the food is really -really average. If you’re a tourist never ever order a toast with farihneira - it’s disgusting. Another toast with mozzarella we’ve ordered was okay. Personnel is very friendly, like mostly everywhere in Portugal.

Tardan mucho tiempo en servir. Esperamos una hora por dos tostas y una tabla de embutidos. Cantidades pobres y precio desorbitado. Nos han cobrado un euro por dos trozos de pan y 4 euros por cubiertos. Una vergüenza.

El sitio y el trato está muy bien, la comida y el vino está bien también. Solo le he dado 3 estrellas porque los aseos no son los adecuados y porque te cobran un suplemento de 2€ por las patatas fritas o la ensalada cuando en la carta va incluido, es un detalle un poco feo. Por lo demás es un sitio recomendable

This is a really nice place slightly off the touristy track in Sintra. Apart from a wonderful view, they have a very good quality Sangria and a nice selection of good tapas. The customer service is really good, the gentleman who served me spoke fluent English and was very kind. The prices are a bit higher than elsewhere in this area, but this is Sintra and it's quite clear that mostly only tourists go and eat there, so I totally understand it. I fully recommend this place.

Correct food and prices. The service is simply impolite. The waiter explained that it was necessary to charge us for the tap water because if all customers ordered it, it would represent "a lot of work" for them. They also made us pay for appetizers that we did not order.

Oh my Goodness! I ate here one of the best burger in my life. It was just perfect. The meat tasty and nicely structured. The sauce harmonized perfectly. The amount was totally enough. If you are in Sintra you should eat here. The only thing which could be better that it closes at 19.00 already.

We go there for the "Happy Hour" prices, which we were told after asking. Then, when the bill came, the price was not honored. To add insult to injury, the waiter said they made an error and actually increased the total on the bill as he proceeded to tell me I was wrong.
A party of 16 came in, and we were asked to move to a different table to accommodate. No sense of appreciation for accommodating whatsoever.
Then, the food. We ordered "Bruschetta," which was little more than a slice of sandwich bread with a slice of cheese melted on top. It is equivalent to what you scrounge to make on a drunken Saturday night after returning from the bar.
Stay clear of this place as they exploit tourists and try and get every penny they can from you.

Très bon rapport qualité/prix, restaurant propre et agréable, très jolie vue. Parfait pour le midi, on peut y manger des paninis, sandwichs chauds, salades et burgers pour un prix très raisonnable

O espaço é razoável. A comida é boa mas os preços são absurdos. Só mesmo com algum voucher é que vale a pena.
