In 1997 Caffècel changed its facilities to the dynamic city of Paredes, near Porto, the industrious capital of the northern area of the country and closer to the urban centers, with high levels of coffee consumption, and installs a fully automated plant, plus adopting the system PROBAT, world leader in roasting equipment, to produce roasted coffee, ensuring higher quality and the required accuracy to offer consistent blends over time. Those days, Caffècel facilities were the only one of its kind in Portugal, the production system allowing the electronic control of the whole process, since the selection of the various batches, the product formulation, the definition of the roasting cycle including two stages of cleaning (raw and roasted), to the packing phase with vacuum valve system. The concern to improve processes, procedures and products, constantly, with all business partners, leads the company to introduce certification in several areas. The year 2000 obtained the certification of quality management system, HACCP, environmental certification and product certification. The brand changed the image in 2005 and in 2008 was acquired by NewCoffee group, integrating a wider portfolio of brands and products extending its presence to various new market segments. The distinctive quality of their blends and the way it approaches the market makes Caffècel–NewCoffee, truthful and reliable to the consumer. As fotos que consegui encontrar online desta loja não lhe fizeram justiça. Foi um pouco difícil para mim encontrar, porque não sou da área, mas valeu a pena caçar por elas. Memento Mori está repleto de artigos interessantes e estranhos de todos os tamanhos, formas e idades. Fiquei impressionado com a variedade de crânios de animais, espécimes molhados, taxidermia vintage, e animais emoldurados [insetos, aracnídeos, répteis, etc] que eles tinham para oferecer. O dono da loja era agradável, amigável e ofereceu-se para me ajudar a estreitar o que eu procurava. Embora houvesse muitos tipos diferentes de odores relacionados com animais disponíveis, estes talvez constituíssem 50% ou menos do que a loja tinha para oferecer. Vale definitivamente a pena visitar a loja.

Escassez de aparelhos pandêmicos da Covid SOLVIDO POR R C WILLEY! Fiquei sem frigorífico durante dois meses depois de ter encomendado a outra empresa. No sábado fui ao R C Willey e na quinta-feira um belo refrigerador francês de 3 portas da Bosch estava a cantarolar na minha cozinha. O serviço foi impecável, a comunicação foi de primeira e a equipa de entregas chegou prontamente como planeado. Considero isto um passo em frente no sucesso da compra a retalho.
