We found Cerro Novo via Facebook and then at the Birmingham show. These guys are the real professionals in estate agency in Portugal. They provided excellent advice about NHR and we talked for an hour with one of their reps who had bought and sold property several times and outlined the pros and cons. As soon as the crisis is over, we'll be starting our buying journey once again.

Very poor service from Cerro Novo management company. They were unable to fulfil basic requests for parking pass for my rental property or even attempt to make a small amendment to my transfer booking time ,stating it would be too difficult to do so. I was forced to park my vehicle on the street despite having dedicated parking. In addition I was forced to cancel their return transfer and make my own arrangements which was significantly cheaper and more flexible than their service. Staff was rude and unhelpful on email with poor customer service skills. avoid this company.

Cerro Novo are a long established Estate Agent, based in a shopping centre on the western outskirts of Albufeira. We have both purchased and sold via Cerro Novo and found their service to be exemplary, easily outstripping competition both locally and internationally. Their website is great (you can actually read it on your mobile phone) and they have regular facebook updates, so if you're thinking of selling, you know they're earning their commission! Buying was easy too, and they are able to recommend good Lawyers and Accountants who can help with the process and things such as Non-Habitual Residency. We feel that we've become part of the family over the past three years and certainly feel very much part of the community in Cerro Grande. If you're fortunate to be looking for a 'place in the sun', start with Cerro, you won't go far wrong.
