Great place with live jazz music. Lots of cocktails. The only thing is it tends to be crowded at night on weekends, so you might have to wait a bit for your drink but, while enjoying the jazz, it's worth it.

A true hidden gem amongst the local offer on the Barrio Alto district. Live jazz music with a charm, small and cozy at a very convenient price range. Smoking inside is allowed which, perhaps, may not result attractive to everyone.

The jazz is pretty pedestrian, just basic covers, though the musicians were good. The bar is more disappointing, refused to make any cocktail not on the extremely short and boring menu. If you want a caipirinha, great. Cash only.

Nice little jazz bar, very busy when we were there but a short wait at the door and we got some standing room and then a table, seating and crowd inside was well managed. Enjoyable atmosphere with live music.

Nel locale c'è una atmosfera fantastica e musica jazz dal vivo. I cocktail non sono all'altezza del locale. Hanno una componente alcolica assente e sono leggeri sembrano annacquati.

Horrible, wanted to pay by car but could not. Waitress sent me to atm where we had to pay 4 euro to withdraw some money. Terrible service and I would not recommend

Terrible place. Was looking forward to spending the evening there until the early hours but the service was so poor and the waitress was so rude and aggressive we left after one drink. The music was the blandest hotel jazz you can imagine, slightly jazzy covers of pop songs essentially.

Schönes Jazz-Lokal in Bairro Alto. Nicht ganz so leicht zu finden. Man kann hier einen tollen Abend verbringen. Gute Live-Musik. Die Getränke-Preise sind moderat. Gefallen hat uns auch, dass angetrunkene Personen nicht in das Lokal gelassen wurden.

Didn’t open until about 10:30 so we expected to see live music but unfortunately it wasn’t on. Chairs were very uncomfortable and bar allows smoking which isn’t pleasant for a none smoker. Our main disappointment was with payment method. We ordered 2 drinks and asked to change 1 of the drinks about 30 seconds after ordering but were told we were unable too as it had already gone through the till, but had not yet been made. We were then presented with the €13.50 bill expecting to pay immediately and paid with€20 note,expecting change after 10 mins we asked only to be told the bar manager deals with this. An American family then left the venue after an apparent disagreement over the bill. I then had to ask the bar manager direct for my change as I was worried it was some sort of scam. He told me we should wait and relax before sorting payment, fair enough if so don’t present me with the bill and expect me to pay and await change this way after each drink. Seems a strange way to pay to me why not just settle one bill at the end of the night?

Lovely music and band. Very disappointing management; Stopped a couple dancing - not very nicely. And stopped one of the audience who was sharing HER bunch of flowers with the rest of people in the venue for FREE - again not nicely... Music is great but we left after a drink... What a shame!

Good venue however - Drinks only available. Eat before you go.
Unfortunately, Management only keen on stacking in patrons. Very disappointing. Great music but NOT permitted to dance at all.
Disappointing as we danced to this band in Pink Street and it added to the atmosphere.
We came to this venue to see & dance to the band but management only interested in packing out the venue to make money on the drinks. No dancing allowed and then stated it was a part of the venue licence! Your joking !
Go to the Bookshop in Pink Street for friendly management and great atmosphere.

Literally the worst jazz bar I ever visited. We came in around 10pm and the only bartender was running between the stage to mix sound (Horribly so, with so much feedback my eardrums nearly ruptured) and the bar to mix drinks.
This kept going on for 45 minutes with an extremely loud yelling and stressed bartender trying to do 2 jobs at the same time.
We asked for moscow mules, and they brought us something that wasnt even remotely close. The drinks were so bad No words can describe it. And it took forever to get service.

Music just isn't very good. No one knows who is coming. Musicians are late. Patrons talk louder than music. Very sad place. Do not come here.

Alors, on a pas compris le concept du " reservado " peu de monde et on nous refuse une table.
Le barman( à la caisse) et le portier ( apparemment le patron ) désagréables.
On nous donne un prix et on nous rend moins
Bref décevant malgré les efforts de la serveuse et des musiciens
À fuir....

Jazz music bar in Bairro Alto. Nice atmosphere with jazz music every night. The pub has a nice sound system to enjoy the music. Prices are ok. Drinks are normal. Staff is friendly.

Já é a segunda vez que só muito mal recebido pelo porteiro. Ele nem quiz me tár o livro de reclamações que pedi. Na próxima vez, chamo a polícia.
Le monsieur à la porte d'entrée est l'une des personnes les plus désagréable que j'ai eu le malheur de rencontrer (à 2 reprises).

Un ambiente excepcional. Lo único que mejoraría es la acústica. Los instrumentos suenan a pelo y si no estás en primera fila, se escucha más a la gente que a los músicos. En el momento que esto se cumpla será uno de los clubs de jazz de referencia de toda europa.

Bar musical de molt bon ambient a Barrio Alto on acabar una nit de manera perfecta amb una copa i música en directe de molt bon blues i jazz. No deixen que s’ompli excessivament i per tant no t’hi sens incòmode mai. Sensacional. Recomano reservar en persona doncs s’omple ràpidament i no queden taules.

Excellent bar jazz à Bairro Alto pour se détendre entre amis. La déco est vraiment sympa et le personnel agréable. Les boissons sont un peu chères par rapport au quartier mais on paye surtout la tranquillité et le cadre. À refaire très vite!

Buen sitio para una copa escuchando jazz en directo. Lo malo es el dueño, no te deja entrar si no vas en grupo para sentarte. Echa la bronca a las camareras si no sientan a 4 o más en cada mesa. Es muy desagradable el verlo. Pone reservado en las mesas sin estarlo para así controlar al personal.

Awful experience. If you look like a student or someone with few money they treat you with despise. Last time I went there (2011) they sat me and my friends in the worst place, even if the bar was almost empty when we arrived. Then, they were rude and press us to consume, and keep asking what we are going to drink. Because of this I gave up to ask anything and they kick us from the bar. It was surreal.
