We got married in April 2018 and we couldn't have had a better experience. All the staff, Vanessa in particular, were extremely helpful. Everything from the preparation of doing an interfaith marriage ceremony to the serving of the food to our guests. Any request we had the team did their best to make it happen. The venue, Arriba by the Sea, was great and had enough elements where are guests felt at ease and entertained. Food and drinks that were included in our package were exceptional. Can't say enough good things about them.

Thank you, Claudia and team, for a wonderful evening. Quinta do Torneiro is such a historical and magical place, perfect for a charming and cozy night with family and friends. Everything was very well organized, and in a very chilled environment. The “Noite de Fados” was just perfect: great musicians, and a mesmerizing (and powerful!) “fadista”. A beautiful party, in a magic place, loved it!

Claudia and her amazing team have helped me on 4 consecutive events over the past few years at many of their locations. I'm ver grateful for their organization, professionalism and creativity. I highly recommend their services for any special event.

Local fantástico, decoração maravilhosa, “timing” perfeito no serviço, bolo comemorativo da efeméride absolutamente delicioso. Enfim, uma festa que ficará na memória de todos nós. A few things were not okay with our wedding and while I don’t like giving negative reviews for Something as important as your wedding day I must. 1. My now husband is severely allergy to peanuts and nuts (anaphylactic and will end up in the hospital and could kill him). Which we advised Catarina many times. However, the evening sweet tables had nuts all over it. Made me wonder if she actually informed the caterers of his severe allergy 2. Responsiveness - with less than 4 weeks before our wedding she would take 1 week to respond to my questions. When your wedding is so close and you’re coming from so far this is not okay. She was unresponsive to my emails and texts and would only respond once I included her boss Claudia on the messages. This honestly made it difficult for us to get things done for our wedding as she was very unresponsive. 3. We were told that we could have a civil ceremony so long as I obtained my Portuguese citizenship. So with our wedding on Thursday, I arrived to Lisbon on Saturday prior and on Monday morning I went to the registry office to apply for an expedited citizenship card and received it. Met with Catarina the next day to register our marriage in Sinatra only for her to tell us that they need at least 10 days or more for processing (our wedding was on Thursday that week). So we were very disappointed because we wasted a whole 2 days running around Lisbon to get my card and meet with Catarina only for her to tell us it wasn’t going to be possible. She should have told us from the start so that we did not waste our time as we could have spent that time with our family who flew out to Portugal for us. 4. the schedule of the wedding was not good. Now at first I did not question this as I thought that they knew what they were doing as they’ve done it before. Despite starting on time Everything was behind once dinner finally started. Leaving us with almost no time for the dance. 5. We had booked mini busses to pick up our guests in Sintra to bring to the venue. One of the bus drivers yelled at one of our guests for arriving late. This is not okay especially when they were not late as they arrived at 3:45 and the busses were to run from 3-4. They just happened to be the last people to arrive... 6. Most surprising of all was that I was expecting them to act as advisors as they are wedding planners. What I mean by this is that I look at Instagram and their website photos and see awesome things as part of a wedding so I would expect that they would ask us if we wanted these things to be added. But they didn’t. YOU will have to do your own research and tell them you want this and even get it for yourself. But this is hard because as I’ve never planned a wedding before I didn’t know what would be nice to add to our day so it would have been much appreciated if they advised us on things that we could have. 7. Seating - now she only sent me the seating configuration 1 week before the wedding! After I had already made the seating arrangements only to find out I had to change everything. This configuration should have been sent to me much before to properly plan out the seating. She also put name tags at each seat which was not okay and we were not aware that she was going to do this. There were couples who were at the same table but seats not next to each other. For our table, our best man and maid of honour were not sitting next to us. She had our parents over by the door. It was a nightmare. All in all while our wedding looked beautiful, I would not recommend hiring this company. If I were to do it again I would not go with them and deeply regret my decision to use them. You only have one wedding day that you can never get back. Make the right decision with who you hire as your planners and avoid this company.

Wonderful and professional company. Vanessa was an amazing wedding planner. Everything: the cake, flower, venue, the food- was absolutely perfect and beyond what I could have imagined for a wedding. Vanessa and her team orchestrated the wedding so smoothly and with kindness and grace. The wedding day was absolutely amazing and the venue (Palacio de Marquêses de Fronteira) was unbelievably gorgeous. So many of our guests from Canada and abroad said that it was the best wedding that they had ever attended.

I would recommend Claudia and Lisbon Wedding Planner anyone looking for a great place to celebrate a special occasion. We chose Arriba by the Sea as our venue and the venue itself is an amazing location and space and the view is unbeatable. We wanted a venue for a classic and romantic wedding and Arriba was perfect. Throughout the whole process Claudia was easy to deal with and professional while also being personal. At first we were a little apprehensive about trying to organize a wedding from the other side of world (we live in Australia) but she made us feel safe, reassured and happy. She is prompt and easy to communicate with, we did a few WhatsUp calls to run through all the details for our day. She knows the venue and everything about it inside and out and we even ended up leaving a few decisions up to Claudia. Once in Portugal we met with Claudia at Arriba to see the venue and review any last details. On the day she was there with us the whole time and had every single little situation under control and we could sit back and relax. The decoration and flowers were beautiful and also the food was stunning and we were very impressed by all the staff and how seamless everything was. We had quite a few guests with dietary requirements and everything ran smoothly in regards to this and I even got my dream wedding cake gluten free. We truly couldn't have had a better place with better people for our wedding, it was an absolutely magical day! Big thanks to Claudia!
