A mais completa decepção com esse restaurante que sempre foi o meu preferido e que reservei para fechar com chave de ouro nossa viagem. Lamentável o que se tornou a carta e os menus desse tão aconchegante e agradável restaurante.
O serviço continua bom e atencioso.

We were with a very large group and had the restaurant fully booked. The meal and service were excellent, steaks done to perfection and some of the tastiest potatoes ever. Lots of wine combined with great food and company made for a great event in a classy and comfortable venue.

Le lieu est superbe avec une petite court intérieur avec beaucoup de charme. Cuisine très correct sans plus mais nous étions un groupe donc la carte est sûrement mieux.Seulement 3 étoiles car le service était très moyen, froid et fermé.

The restaurant is amazing! The service was super kind and the ambience is romantic and perfect for a date in my opinion. We tried the 'tasting menu-walk through the menu' and all the plates were delicious! I strongly recommend this place.

Such a place.i ordered the sulking pig which was good but a bit to hard for my taste. Others order Bachlau which was as well good.
The service is very professional tough English could be improved.

Excelente lugar para degustar la cocina lisboeta. El ambiente es muy relajado y la decoración perfecta. La acomoda es excepcional; comimos vieira con rostro y bacalao. Estaban perfectos!! El postre lo tomamos en el patio interior acompañado de Oporto y fumando un habano.... perfecto!!!

Genial. El servicio estupendo aún yendo sin reserva, no hubo ningún problema. La comida genial, muy rica y bien elaborada. El trato estupendo. Comimos tres personas el menú del día que está muy bien aunque conviene hacer reserva por que siempre está lleno. Es la segunda vez que voy y seguiré yendo por que es un sitio de 10. Mil gracias por todo.

É um restaurante com muitos anos de experiência e costuma ser por chefs conceituados. O serviço costuma ser bom. O estacionamento nem sempre é fácil mas há parques de estacionamento nas imediações.

Ambiente aconchegante e requintado. Apesar de ter sido um jantar entre amigos, o restaurante tem um clima romântico. A carta não é muito extensa, mas com boas propostas. Destaco a sopa de crustáceos, que estava deliciosa. O camarão tigre também estava ótimo. O serviço é agradável e simpático. Já as sobremesas, e foram 4 diferentes, deixou um pouco a desejar. No mais, foi um jantar super agradável e recomendo.

Espaço mt reservado e acolhedor. Bom atendimento e boa comida. Doses menos bem servidas e preços inflacionados, seja nos pratos como na bebida.
Recomendo pela experiência e pela sobremesa do mil folhas de banana e gelado de iogurte.

The food and the wine was as always superb, but the waiters got too busy about halfway through. No time to present the food or the wine as more and more guests arrived. It's a shame, as it is a fantastic restaurant.

This food is so forgettable. I just ate it and I forgot all of it. The only memorable feature was the ridiculous shapes that resulted in elaborate and complicated plating efforts and dishes that were served barely warm. Save yourself the 55€ and go to Pingo Doce buy something and cut it in a triangle and paint some sauce and flower pedals on it. For those extra curious, the partridge salad had bones in it and tasted like it was made by a chef who had smoked his taste buds away. The oyster was warm and served with lemon jelly, terrible. The cheaper bottles of wine on the menu were all sold out. The best plate was the microwaved grouper and cafeteria vegetables. This place is just bad, uninspired food, preying on customers who don’t know better. Avoid it.

Il ristorante è molto elegante e raffinato, l'arredamento è curato in ogni dettaglio. Siamo stati accolti e seguiti da un maître gentile molto disponibile e molto competente. La cena è stata squisita, vino compreso. I piatti erano ben presentati. In due abbiamo speso 150 euro vino compreso ( il vino è costato 40 euro!)
Non è un ristorante economico ma da provare!

Octopus was OK but to salty. I was thurdty all night .Dish was small. The witress wasnt really interested in doing the job.. it took the staff some time to collect the order. I came to try oysters and they did not have them. Restaurant was almost empty so the staff could made better effort in overall. The atmosphere and decoration was nice.

The setting is quite charming. However, there was sand in the two plates of scallops that were served at our table that night. We wanted to let the waitress know but we did not get the chance because she never came back to ask us how things were going.
At that price point, it was a disappointing experience.

Atendimento sublime num restaurante com bastante história e ambiente super confortável e acolhedor. Este restaurante não se trata de comida mas de toda uma experiência, o atendimento é super cordial e personalizado. A comida é de grande qualidade , diferente do habitual e em doses muito razoáveis, especialmente as vieiras com risotto.O único senão é mesmo o preço , é proibitivo para ir numa base regular.

Endroit très cosy et de haute qualité ! Classe 22e sur les 4 000 restaurants que compte la capitale Portugaise ! Repas très raffiné, serveur très professionnel et agréable ! Les prix sont élevés mais sont conforment avec ce qu'il se trouve dans l'assiette. Endroit calme, avec petite musique d'ambiance et super décoration ! Si vous voulez vous faire plaisir je vous recommande vivement ce restaurant !

Believe it or not, it's one of top restaurants in Portugal. First of all, you will be excited from the restaurant itself. The interior design is so unique, warm and welcoming, that will make you take a lot of pictures, especially in The room with the decorative fireplace. The service is outstanding. Each one of the waiters and the owner himself were proofing all night long that they are in love with their work - sending positive energy is important- but also they were proofing their experience and professionalism (excellent serving of wine, elegant serving of food) I left at the end the NUMBER 1 factor, that made me, as a restaurant critic, characterise it as one of the best restaurant of Portugal. THE FOOD. The food will make close your eyes. All dishes are outstanding, prepared and cooked with love. The techniques of the chef are also unique, the ingredients are high quality and the presentation will make you hesitate to destroy the beauty of the plate. So, don't leave the restaurant if you don't try the mouthwatering goat cheese salad, the gripper with the mussels jus, but mostly the fillet mignon and the French cut lamb chops. The deserts are excellent too, offering different textures, aromas and tastes. The bill you will get at the end will certainly make you smile. It's for sure the most value for money restaurant that I have visited in Europe and the USA the last year. For this kind of "cuisine" I normally pay five times more. A thousand Bravos to the whole team of the avant-garde restaurant of Lisbon and Portugal.

We entered the restaurant with high hopes of a great dinner for our last night in Lisbon. We left wondering why we did not return to the same restaurant the previous night.
For a distinguished restaurant, etiquette was not upheld. Tables lacked tablecloths, deviating slightly from the usual fine dining experience. Utensils were not displayed from the get go, even after taking our orders.
We ordered the 'One walk through the menu' set meal. Portions were so minute we were almost thankful we had snacks before dinner. The appetiser tasted as if it were simply a biscuit stuck onto a scoop of canned tuna - one of the worst impressions the first dish of a set can give. It gets worse.
Each subsequent dish lacked direction. Layout was fantastic but there was scant attention paid to the dining experience. How and what should be consumed first? Instructions should have been given either implicitly through food placement or explicitly by waiters.
We selected a 2014 bottle of white wine but they presented us with a 2016 bottle. It wouldn't have even been noticed had my dad not been asute.
Desserts were sweet but again disappointing. For a dish termed 'pudding insanity', one would expect pudding to play the main character. Rather, the palate was flooded with a variety of other sweet or overly creamy pastries.
I had very high expectations of the restaurant following the great reviews by fellow tourists. Let's hope that this is simply a once off fluke and that it never happens again!

This restaurant is really beautiful and romantic. The food is also incredible. I can recommend the tuna carpaccio, the Moroccan chicken/risotto dish, and the orange tart. I typically don't like orange flavoured desserts but this was amazing, especially the Grand Marnier ice cream. The server was also very on-point with her wine recommendation for me.

Excelente serviço. O melhor restaurante que conheço em Lisboa. Experimentei o Menu de Degustação (50 €), com degustação de vinhos a acompanhar (mais 22 €). É caro, mas vale cada cêntimo.
