Demasiado bueno!! El mejor Tour para conocer Sintra de la mejor manera. Supera las expectativas por mucho. Es un Tour super completo, te hace ver que es mil veces mejor saber de la experiencia y verlo a través de la pasión de alguien que ha crecido ahí, a ver las opiniones de los Turistas. Lo recomiendo ampliamente. Duarte es un tipo increíble que te hace pasar uno de los mejores días.

I booked my tour to Sintra with Keep it Local tours with Duarte, and oh my God, what a trip it was. Duarte and his friend Bernardo have extensive knowledge of the places, we visited. We went to Quinta da Regaleira, Cabo da Roca (western most part of the European mainland), Duarte’s beautiful farmhouse where we met his father and had an amazing lunch. Our group, although we met as strangers, we really connected during the tour, we danced, we laughed and we ate together and had so much fun. All thanks to Duarte for his warm personality. He definitely goes an extra mile to make sure that everyone feels connected and enjoy the tour. I highly recommend Keep it Local tours. So go ahead and book the tour with them right now.

Keep it Local Tours is your best choice if you are looking for a tour to Sintra with REAL local guides! This tour was definitely the highlight of my trip to Lisbon (4days stay) and I’m extremely happy that I decided to go! I had the most funny guided tour ever, got to know a lot of amazing poeple, hear many interesting stories (Duarte is extremely knowledgeable), eat an amazing lunch (not to mention the wine) AND i got to see beautiful Sintra! <3

Stop thinking and start booking!! I’ve been traveling for a month and this tour was one of the absolute highlights. Duarte is a fantastic guide, super knowledgeable and super friendly. The tour was excellent. It has everything! Palaces, history, food & wine, beaches, views, Beyoncé. And I made some lifelong friends in the process.

This tour with Duarte was literally the highlight of my trip to Lisbon. This is Sintra - a Day to Remember can't be described any more accurately. I have seen beautiful Sintra, met amazing people and put my foot on the western most edge of Europe. Duarte's passion for his job clearly shows as he put in extra hours into our tour and we really appreciated his effort. Take this tour and don't even think twice.

I can’t remember, when I had so much fun, as on this trip with a car full of strangers, that turned into friends within a day! We had wine, met God, sang and danced - and yes, Sintra was also beautiful. But we’d drive around a parking lot with Duarte, if offered the chance. Recommended!

The experience Keep it Local Tours provided was exactly what anyone who really wants to tour Lisbon (and not just the tourist places) should experience. Of course we visited some very tourist heavy places, but the conversation and the experience João provided was one of a kind. We went to eat a local spot, got insights on the Portuguese culture, and learned a lot about the Portuguese history. He was definitely the hostess with the mostest (an American saying). The food, the wine, the almond liquor, it all just made it an over the top experience. Thank you! The newlyweds, the Doolittle's.

One of the most memorable thing I had done in Lisbon. There’s lots to do there but Duarte picks some of the best things to show that even if that’s all you do, you’d be happy you with it. He is awesome and made us feel like we were a bunch of friend traveling together. He is full of energy and good vibe.
The octopus at pensao restaurant in Sintra is life!!! The best I ever had!

We loved Duarte! He is warm, personable, funny, and so knowledgeable about Lisbon and Sintra. Great guided tour of Quinta da Regaleira, lunch in a local village, beautiful drive into the forest with many photo ops, and a delicious treat at a local bakery. We would definitely recommend him!

This tour is a MUST if you are visiting Lisbon or Sintra - we had so much fun on this daylong road trip! It was an adventure for sure, touring palaces, playing on the beach and exploring caves. Even the drive from one destination to the next felt like an adventure, and our guide, Duarte, had a clear passion for giving the tours and gave his own personal charm to the whole day's activities. I didn't want it to end!

We had a wonderful day in Sintra with Duarte. We learned so much about the region, saw amazing views and visit some secret spots. I definitely recommend this experience to everyone without a car that wants to visit Sintra.

We booked Duarte's This is Sintra tour on AirBnb's experiences site. This was our first AirBnb Experience and it set a bar that may never be topped. Duarte was fantastic and the activities in Sintra and the coast were amazing. He was knowledgable about every place we went and made sure to go out of his way to make a personal connection with us. I cannot brag on him enough!!
Duarte is a local from the Lisbon area and with his warmth and the activities he's chosen for this tour, he made us feel a little bit local as well.
The restaurant we went to was one of the best meals we had during our whole time in Europe. The beach was beautiful, the castle incredible and the whole experience is a must do.

This tour is amazing, a great experience, and Sintra is beautiful. My two friends and I really enjoyed it. Duarte is knowledgeable, funny, helpful, kind and happy to answer to any question you might have. Both kids and adults loved him. He made sure everybody was happy out throughout the whole time.

My husband and I took a tour of Sintra with our 3 kids ages 12, 10 and 8. It was the highlight of our trip to Portugal- and we did other fun things like tour the old town of Lisbon and surf lessons. Still, our tour with Duarte through Keep It Local was our favorite. They really do personalize the day for you. I would definitely recommend booking with them. If we go back to Portugal ( and I hope we will!) it's on our list to do again!

Wenn man einen Städtetrip nach Lissabon plant, sollte man sich unbedingt auch Zeit für einen Ausflug in die nähere Umgebung nehmen. Duarte ist dafür der weltbeste Guide. Er ist in dieser Gegend aufgewachsen und keiner kennt diese Umgebung besser als er. Mit Sympathie, Herzlichkeit und Humor kann er einfach jeden begeistern, ob jung oder alt und wer diese Tour gemacht hat, wird sie so schnell nicht wieder vergessen. Auch Leute, die die Gegend zu kennen glauben, kann er mit seinem Wissen beeindrucken. Er zeigt die schönsten, verborgenen Plätze, weiß wo man gut essen kann und ist am Ende immer für eine Überraschung gut!
Ich kann diese Tour nur wärmstens empfehlen!!!

I did the Sintra Tour with Duarte and it was absolutely amazing and although I have already been to Sintra many, many times he still was able to surprise me. Great tour, great stories, great food, great guy! Be prepared to get to know the „real“ Portugal. Obrigado Duarte!

Duarte and his team are amazing passionate tour guides that showed us the real magical part of the Lisbon area. We enjoyed the Sintra tour so much that we booked another tour to Setubal area a couple of days later. Both Duarte and Ricardo were amazing with the six kids we had in our party and my son literally said that they were by far the best tour guides we have ever had - and we are travelers so we have had quite a few. It really was the genuine enthusiasm, friendliness and attentiveness that set this tour company apart from any other we have used, it made all the places we visited come alive and exciting. I highly recommend them for families with kids, or without as well - you will find that they will make Portugal that much more charming, inviting and amazing.

Keep it Local Tours made my year ! Duarte picked us up promptly and in a very comfortable, clean vehicle and took us to Sintra. We enjoyed so much enjoyed the trip, all the conversations, and spectacular views. He was always ready to answer every question with the biggest smile and had the greatest day planned for us. Amazing! Duarte is from Sintra and he knows how to show you around.
He challenged us, gave us cool facts and showed secret spots! Everyone on the tour had his attention and you can say he really cares about people and nature.With this guy, Sintra became an experience, not just a place. Totally worth it!

When you do it trip to Lisbon you also have to visit Sintra and there is just no better way to explore Sintra than with Keep it local tours. I fell in love in Lisbon and Sintra instantely and although I took the Sintra tour several times, Duarte still finds ways the show me something new and he can be sure, I will be on the tour the next time.

Duarte, nuestro guía, es una persona genial, simpática, dinámica, que nos llevó por lugares muy bonitos de Sintra y alrededores (Quinta da Regaleira, Playa de Adraga, Cabo da Roca, etc.). Great tour with Duarte from Keep It Local Tours to Sintra and surrounding areas. My wife and I enjoyed it. Duarte gave us a detailed explanation of Sintra’s history. We stopped by the beach, Cabo da roca , and his lovely country house. Lunch was amazing and the dessert to end the tour was really good! Duarte is friendly, funny, very knowledgeable, and great with kids. We will definitely go on another tour with Keep It Local Tours on our next trip to Lisbon.

The best tour we have booked in Portugal!!! We joined Duarte on a Sintra tour. Duarte is very friendly, knowledgeable and funny. We have visited a lot of local “hidden” places that we wouldn’t visit ourselves. The trip was full of beautiful spots, sweet surprises, great music and many laughs. A MUST DO while in Lisbon!!! Great service and unforgettable experience! It feels like you're traveling with a bunch of old friends than simply taking part in a normal local tour and the whole atmosphere is just so relaxing. This all makes the touristic attractions even more attractive since it's attached to a lot of unique memories of yours!!

Definitely book with Keep It Local Tours! We just had the best day with Joao and our group of travellers! He is so fun, hilarious, and full of great info. The sites were fabulous (we skip the long lines), the lunch is delicious (and they could accommodate my allergy to peanuts/tree nuts), and the company was lovely. We are thankful for a wonderful day, and highly recommend this tour - it was our highlight to our trip to Lisbon!

It was such a pleasure to be in a small group while touring Sintra, especially one led by Duarte. He was a fabulous tour guide--genial, easy-going, attentive, and generous in sharing stories about his life in Sintra. He also was extremely knowledgeable about the intriguing and complex history of the area. I am so glad I took his tour of Sintra. The day is full of wonderful memories I will never forget.

i had a great time in Lisbon but the one of the best tours i did was with Duarta he knew everything about Sintra an the stories of its history he is such a personable an carefree guy the day flew by way better than any bus tour it was very personal and a the end of the day i made a new friend it is the only way way to see Sintra thanks Duarta

I did both the sintra and arrabida tour with Duarte, and even though I live in Portugal, still Duartes amazing gift of sharing his love for his country made me feel like I was exploring Portugal for the first time. The small details of unknown places we explored and the passion its been done with, makes me wanna go on journeys with him all days!
