They finally have a way to queue up electronically, but overall I had a bad experience because of Patricia. She had a very short temper with customers, and was distracted when helping me more than once.

Hello sir/madam
My name is Najmul and I am from Bangladesh.
Today I went to one of your branch(R.Gerrat 68, Lisbon ) to open a new account with all necessary documents. After waiting 35 min there I got call from your officer. But He informed me that our Server is not working today, I will call you latter. After 5min another colleague of him opened a new accounts of a Brasilian women. Now my question is why he didn’t open mine? If server wasn’t working today, than how it’s possible to open new accounts using same server? Watching that I asked his colleague,what happened with me? Why he didn’t open my account? But she didn’t answer. What she said is that I don't know. Now I want to know that do you have any policy of your bank that support Racism?
I want to hear something from you.

Atendimento de qualidade, tempo de espera razoável, o banco de sucesso do momento, sou estrangeira e pude abrir uma conta apenas com passaporte e número de contribuinte, achei muitas vantagens em ter uma conta nesse banco além de ter o respaldo do já consolidado banco Millennium.

A fila AO SOL é inacreditavelmente insuportável para a quantidade de tempo que os agentes demoram a lidar com apenas um caso! Estou há 50min á espera e parece-me que possa demorar ainda mais uma hora. Inaceitável!

The account opening, particularly mine of Non-resident account was prompt, quick and techno-savvy. The working at the branch was swift and cordial. Mr. Ruben was helpful and ensured that necessary procedure is completed swiftly and ensured that the Credit Card is also issued to us. Thanks Mr. Ruben and your team.

Funcionaria conversando sobre assuntos fora do trabalho e demorando muito, para conhecer pessoas novas existe apps e outros lugares que nao seja o trabalho, então a rapariga estava sem dar a mínima importancia para a quantidade de gente a espera pra resolver problemas, muito chateado não usarei novamente essa cede da AB

Excellent working. They opened my international (abroad) account in an hour and issued a debit card on the spot. I cannot imagine such speed in my country. Mr. Roben was so helpful, smiling and cool.
Suggestions: More staff and awareness
on documentation of abroad accounts are needed.

Staff are incredibly inefficient, and are very very slow at dealing with customers. There is no urgency and there are only 3 staff. I wanted a replacement debit card as my current one had a chip error, it took me 1hr 30 to see one of the bank staff, and I was there when the bank opened its doors in the morning! Terrible customer service

Worst bank I have ever gone to. They give you the run around about documents that are not even available to acquire. Stay away and go to a bigger bank that needs the normal documentation needed

Trying to open a bank account for 3!!! months now, every time the digital board where you should get your number for the queu says, service not available, and opening an account through the app also does not work, very frustrating

Professional and kind staff but the office is small, always full, not equipped for an efficient resolution; undifferentiated/ unique queue, which means standing in line a lot (no chairs, no waiting numbers) for a issue that could be solved quickly, because most people wait for opening a bank account that takes longer. Because of this I waited in line 1h40 for replacing a card : it took 10 minutes to obtain when I was finally attended. They should have faster separate service for customers that don’t need to open a bank account. And at least put fresh water at disposal of clients that must wait in line for so long...

It's funny how their slogan is "Simplifica" ("Simplify" in English) because I came there when it opens (at 10h00) and, with my ticket and number, I had to wait more than 6 HOURS to open a bank account... finishing after 16h00 (3 hours before its closing). Being foreigner, it is the best way to open a bank account here in Portugal but I find it so disappointing and frustrating that these situations happen in Lisbon in 2019 and even in, as they call themselves, a "digital bank"...

Mais facil ir à segurança social. Têm senhas para Cartão de cidadão e outros documentos mas a ordem de senhas é por chegada. Sistema altamente ridiculo para um serviço destes.

Although the staffs are super nice mostly especially the women, the whole experience is still very uncomfortable!
1) there is no ticket system and u have to queue up, standing, and for at least an hour to get to the counter! (The girl said it’s always like this)
2) when U get to the counter, u get one process done then wait, they serve another client (for my case the client toile forever) and then back to u; then second step is done and then wait again (same way they serve another client) ... for that u have already been waited for 3h+!!! I have asked but the only answer is wait further, will be soon again?!??

If you're a foreigner and you need to open a bank account, go to this specific office!! The people here all speak English and know how to deal with foreigners. The other offices do not and they will ask you for unnecessary documents (believe me, I tried). The guy who helped me here was super friendly and helpful.
Having said that. Banks in Portugal in general are stone-age. Including the organization behind this one. Being from a Northern country, I never had to go inside a bank building for the past 15 years. Let alone stand in line for an hour or so. I kind of took it as an interesting museum-like experience. But yeah if you're from a developed place: be prepared to travel 20 years back in time and do that thing your parents needed to do at banks when you where little: stand in line, hand in many papers, sign many many many forms, wait, wait, wait and then, as a reward: be allowed to spend your own money by the grace of god.

When i applied for account on online
They said i have to only deposit 250
But
When i went there they was asking to pay travel insurance which is 35 euro
Its cheating
They did not mentioned on online
