Albergue confortável, acolhedor, pena são os chuveiros e a de banho serem poucas para a quantidade de peregrinos, a cozinha está equipada para confeccionar um bom prato energético.

Arrivato nel pomeriggio,con una vescica piede sx. Ho chiesto se potevo stare anche il giorno dopo(pagando) per far ripristinare la ferita,mi hanno dato la camera degli handicappati. Fin qui nulla di male,ma la cosa vergognosa è che si sono portati via la coperta, alle mie rimostranze, hanno detto che non è previsto lasciarla lì. Conclusione,devo soffrire il freddo perché il regolamento,non prevede a giugno ne la coperta, tantomeno che faccia freddo!!!

Хорошее муниципальное альберге. Стоимость 5 евро. Одноразовая простынь 2,5 евро. На кухне есть плита, микроволновка, посуда, большой холодильник. Кофейный автомат с зерновым кофе за 0,5 евро. Рядом большой супермаркет.

I think we should not want a lot of albergue, especially for 5€. But there is everything we need in our camino. There is good kitchen and nearby(100 metres) is big supermarket Continente. So you can buy and cook or just buy something for microwave. Inside of albergue is coffee machine for 0.50€ a cup.

Větší ubytovna pro poutníky. Sousedí s hasičskou stanicí a heliportem. Otevírá ve 13:30 hod. a přespání zde stojí 5 €. Údajně se zde vejde až kolem 85 osob. Jen v místnosti, kde jsem spal bylo cca 35 - 40 lůžek. Jsou tu tedy dvě větší místnosti. Na každou z těchto 2 místností je napojena další se záchodem, sprchou, umyvadly a několika zrcadly. V ubytovně dále naleznete prostornou ledničku a vcelku vybavenou kuchyň (mikrovlnná trouba, dotykový sporák). Dále je zde jídelní místnost a odpočinková / relaxační místnost s mnoha publikacemi (kam vyrazit a historií města). Součástí ubytovny je i větší zahrada a prostorem pro sezení, která je hojně využívána poutníky. Vzhledem k počtu míst, poutníci tuto ubytovnu často využívají. Navíc se zde setkávají a spojují dvě Svatojakubské cesty. Ubytovně bych vytknul horší sociální zařízení (především toalety), které nebyly zcela provozuschopné / opravené. Jinak se jednalo o velice příjemnou zastávku na cestě do Santiaga.

This albergue cost 5€/night. It's a short walk into the fort for something interesting to do, or for a meal.
The BIGGEST downer are the toilets/showers. The shower cubicles are tiny and only one toilet (downstairs)has a toilet seat. Men and women share the upstairs dormitory's toilets, which is pretty gross for women. I chose to awalk downstairs to use the toilet, rather than risk the obvious 'surprises' I might have encountered in the shared seat-less upstairs toilets.

Bathroom broken. Impossible to close the doors. They presented rust so dangerous. Only 4 showers for 84 beds .

Vasrante decadente en las duchas no se cabe para duchar las tazas del w no tienen tapa solo hay dos duchas compartidas con hombres y mujeres los lavabos tambien son compartidos un desastre ... en cuanto a los aseos

The beds are OK I guess, but the bathrooms are not good. You cannot lock most of the showers and toilets, they are not really clean and there is absolutely no place where to put your clothes when showering. The toilets also weren't cleaned properly. The WiFi doesn't work at all. So far it was the worst albergue I've stayed at. But the staff are really nice.

広い庭、テーブルがあり、洗濯物干し場も外にあって良い。
オスピタレイロは親切でした。
キッチンは収容人数の割に狭く、鍋とフライパン一つずつなので工夫が必要です。
大きなスーパーが近くにあります。
wifi弱いかも。シャワーは男女共用で普通。洗濯場2つあり。

Dobra lokalizacja koło supermarketu i jednocześnie blisko starówki. Można wybrać sobie łóżka samodzielnie, więc kto pierwszy ten ma większy wybór. Łazienka koedukacyjna z bezpośrednim dostępem z sypialni. W kuchni za mało naczyń.

The staff was really nice and I'm happy they had a kitchen... But, the wifi was practically non-existent. Why have it if you can't connect while trying for three hours straight. City wifi and supermarket wifi is better. The bed was so bad that I had too much pain in the morning to continue the camino. And the pillow was like a brick. I had to stay an extra day, but they didn't allow people to stay longer than one day so I found a place in Tuy. And the people in my room were so rude in the morning they woke everyone up at 5am with banging and talking and lights.
It is in a really good location though!

The only reason I am giving one star is because there is no option to give zero stars. On arrival staff treated pilgrims like the dirt you would scrape from the sole of your boot. Clearly no experience in hospitality or any knowledge of needs of pilgrims. The dorms are mixed, they will only open the second when first is full . The bunks are pushed together making double beds, meaning you can sleep beside a random pilgrim. Also it was clear showers had not been cleaned / hair found in apparently unused clean shower. Having done the French route and most the Portuguese route, we have never experienced such poor standards and -unfriendly, unwelcoming attitude. A far cry from what you want after walking 36kilometers!! DO NOT STAY HERE!!!! On brighter note Valença is beautiful and worth a stay- just somewhere else!

Albergue se sporakem a 1 hrncem. Není rychlovarka ani mikrovlnka. Male sprchy, ale zamykací. :) Cena 6 €.

Ein SUPER HAUS . Einrichtung gut erhalten. Die Zimmer (mehr Bett Zimmer ) so lala . Hatten das ganze Haus für uns alleine (2 Personen ) da zu dieser Zeit kaum Pilger unterwegs waren .Nicht sehr weit von der wunderschönen Altstadt mit ihren kleinen Gassen und Winkel gelegen entfernt .

#pilgrims#stop#okplace#closetotown# I liked this pilgrims accommodation, even though I got a bed near the toilet and I couldn't sleep, because all pilgrims during the night was passing through , near me, and woke me up. I like how this place was divided , the bedroom, the washing room, the living room where pilgrims could meet and talk and laugh. I recommend this place.

It was my third time here. The lady at reception was really friendly; she gave me a private room with bathroom for the price of a dorm. I was lucky I guess. The place is very nice; it has a good kitchen and common room with a chess board. There is a supermarket just 2 minutes away. It's also a lot cheaper to stay here instead of Tui; 5 euros instead of 8.

Llegue completamente mojada y con frío y no había calefacción, me dieron una manta como un favor, diciéndome que no pueden darlas hasta noviembre, algo que me parece absurdo, cuando ya han empezado las lluvias y el frío.

Albergue simples, ao lado da fortaleza de Valença. Demasiadas camas por quarto, cozinha muito pequena para a quantidade de peregrinos e na hora do jantar é bastante concorrida, o Wi-Fi não chegava no quarto todo. Espaço agradavel no exterior e supermercado ao lado e recepcionista muito simpática. Valor 5€.

Pilgerherberge die es deutlich übertreibt. 15 Betten in einem Raum ( 30 Menschen), flatterige Doppelstockbetten die gerne auch mal umkippen. Alles viel zu Eng und viel zu stickig. So etwas müsste verboten werden. Zu wenig Duschen, Toiletten, Steckdosen.
Verbesserungsvorschlag: Mindestens 4 Doppelstockbetten pro Saal rausnehmen.

We arroved in a good time, we had beds, comfortably near the windows. There wasn't an oven, or a washing machime, but the kitchen was well equiped and the whole place was relatively clean. A supermarket is very close to it, so it's a good point, and you can get other supplies in a chinese store nearby. The showers are small, coed, but otherwise they're good.

Alberge is near bomberos and main road, havy trafic. At our presence in february the roof was renovated. Showers and toilets are together for both sex in the same aeria and are consumed.

Die Herberge ist im Großen und Ganzen für eine Nacht absolut ok. Das Personal ist super freundlich. Es gibt zwei große Schlaffräume mit je ca. 25 Stockbetten. Diese stehen sehr eng beieinander. Das Kopfkissen ist leider rechteckig und sehr hart (!!!).
Zu jedem Schlafsaal gehört ein sauberer Waschraum mit 4 Waschbecken, 2 Duschen und 2 WCs, jedoch nicht nach Geschlecht getrennt. Leider sind die Schieberiegel zum Verschließen der Türen teilweise defekt.
Die Küche ist mit Herd, Kühlschrank (inkl. Eiswürfelbereiter) ausgestattet, Besteck (vor allem Messer) ist etwas knapp. Es gibt zwei Essräume, einer davon ist mit Sofaecke. Möglichkeiten zum Wäsche waschen sind ebenfalls vorhanden.
Zur schönen Altstadt und der Festung - mit herrlichem Blick auf Spanien - sind es 5 Gehminuten. Dort gibt es zahlreiche Möglichkeiten zum Essen und Trinken. Ein großer Supermarkt (Intermarché) ist ebenfalls ca. 7 Gehminuten entfernt.

Die "Albergue S.Teotonio" kann ich jedem Pilger der auf dem Weg nach Santiago de Compostela ist, nur empfehlen.Sehr sauber und eine freundliche Betreuung. Einen Besuch der Altstadt von Valenca sollte man sich nicht entgehen lassen !
