Such a lovely cafe tucked away in a beautiful side street of Loule. It must be popular because it was full at 12.30, luckily we got there at 12pm. Would definitely recommend the Mozambiquan curry. You may think a curry at lunch is heavy, but this was served in a lovely pot with rice and just the right size for lunch. It was worth a visit!

Romantisch in den kleinen Gässchen gelegen. Wenn man dieses süße Kaffee an einem Markt-Samstag besucht, sollte man Zeit und Geduld mitbringen, da es sehr voll ist und der Service mitunter leicht überfordert. Trotzdem sind alle sehr nett und freundlich und es ist eine wunderschöne Atmosphäre, dort einen Kaffee oder einen Imbiss zu genießen.

Zum Glück durch Zufall entdeckt. Ein kleines gemütliches Kaffee, in mitten der kleinen Gässchen. Richtig geschmackvoll eingerichtet mit schönem Innenhof. Hier kann man sich mal eine Auszeit nehmen vom Shoppen. Es gibt leckere Kuchen und einen guten Kaffee. Wer möchte kann auch eine kleinigkeit Essen. Der Service ist freundlich und aufmerksam. An den Samstagen wird der Ort von Touristen überschwemmt, dadurch ist das Kaffee auch ziemlich gut besucht. Deshalb sollte man auch zu der Zeit etwas Geduld mitbringen und nicht gleich schlechte Bewertungen schreiben.

Das Cafe ist der absolute Hammer.
Durch Zufall gefunden und sehr dankbar dass wir es gefunden haben.
Das Personal sehr freundlich, der Karottenkuchen sehr zu empfehlen.
Ultimativ ein empfehlenswerter Ort.

Rien de portugais dans ce bar !! . 3.50 pour deux tranches de pain et un pot de beurre et vous devez tartiner vous même vos tartines....

Restaurant exceptionnel, petit coin de paradis caché au coeur de la ville, même en automne la terrasse reste agréable. Magnifiquement décoré, un côté très authentique, les plats sont délicieux et les serveurs aux petits soins.

Lovely looking place, sadly the food was really disappointing and overpriced. A salad for €9 with dried up chunks of chicken, a couple of shredded slices of processed cheese and a piece of ham. Large slices of unripe tomato, limp onion slices, and fruit.

Although pretty and cosy, my quiche was clearly microwaved and my husband had a very bland omelette - later that evening he was extremely ill and continued to be for the next 48hrs from what was clearly food poisoning from the eggs. Very disappointed as it seemed so nice on first impression.

Schnuckeliges, schönes Café-Bistro inmitten der Altstadt in Loulé. Wer den Wochenmarkt Samstags besucht, sollte gewarnt sein, dass dort sehr voll sein kann. Aber dennoch ist es einen Besuch wert. Der Cous-Cous Salat mit gegrillten Gemüse war wirklich delicious. :)

Sehr schnuckliges Café, was sofort einlädt hereinzugehen und liebevoll gestaltet ist. Sehr ansprechende Karte. Die Pastel de Nata waren hervorragend. Der Service war sehr gastfreundlich!

Endlich mal ein Café welches Charme hat und Urlaubsflair an der Algarve vermittelt.
Das Essen ist lecker und das Personal freundlich. Die Eigentümerin ist zuvorkommend und einladend.

Ein süßes, sehr lauschiges Café um der Mittagssonne zu entfliehen. Eine umfangreiche Karte, auf der jeder fündig werden wird, britisch angehaucht mit carrot cake und scones. Die Bedienung ist flott und freundlich, wir fühlten uns sehr wohl.

Exquiste vegetarian food. Veggie lasagne & arabic spiced cous cous was delish! Choc brownie to die for and the staff were so accommodating and friendly. Must not miss if near Loule! Thank you. Keep up the great work!

Nous avons choisi de déjeuner dans ce restaurant car très bien noté sur TripAdvisor, mais en entrant nous n'avons pas eu un seul bonjour... Nous avons attendus 5 bonnes minutes sans que personne s'adresse a nous et nous avons donc décidé de faire demi tour. Une fois dans la rue un serveur nous a couru après et nous a finalement installé... La sangria est absolument délicieuse !! Le poulet façon Mozambicaine est très bon également mais un peu "simple" pour le prix.

This place is hidden gem waiting to be explored. In the narrow streets of Loulé you will find a cosy and attractive coffee/ lunch bar not very far from castle Loulé. They have a delicious assortment of cakes and sweets that complement their heavenly coffees as well as other dishes like salads bread etc. The patio is cozy with a bistro kind of feel. The cafe is well decorated and feels somewhat domestic. The staff is very helpful and friendly and there to please you. A must try.

It is in my opinion a real tourist trap.The food is as good or average as in other restaurants in Loule, but the prices are extravagant compared to other restaurants in this city. Average two to three times as high.
Example: typical Portuguese soup everywhere €1.30 to€ 1.50, in Q 3.00!

An excellent lunch in a very pleasant ambiance inside. There are outside tables.
Very tasty chicken curry, and a vegetarian quiche. Followed by delicious “ District 6 carrot cake”. ( owners from West Africa/South Africa).

A beautiful and quaint cafe in a small alley. A bit on the expensive side but not outrageous and drinks were large servings (€5 for a massive sangria glass and €3.50 for a lemonade). Drinks were clearly home made and good quality. We did not eat as cake by had sold out but they looked nice on other tables!

The aesthetics and ambience of the cafe is very sweet and attractive, very cozy and beautiful storied menu, but the breakfast options were a bit of a let down - the options were not many and the eggs scramble i had was very medium. My rating is based on breakfast experience, i am not sure how good is the lunch menu. Cappuccino was not too great, but cakes were tasty

Nice place with friendly staff.
It came across as somewhat chaotic.
And we didn't see much of the Africa inspired style in the decor.
We had coffee, tea, smoothies and two cakes, it all tasted great.

Decorado com requinte informal exemplar. Cada detalhe, uma história por contar, uma peça encaixada, imprescindível, conferindo a identidade particular deste oásis dos sentidos. Cadre très sympathique, personnel très gentil, plat du jour très bon (aubergine farcie cuite au four, avec crudités), cheese cake à la gelée de myrtille très fin (scones un peu plus lourds), prix très raisonnables. Juste dommage d'accepter les chiens aboyeurs.

Went here after the saturday market, was a nice place and food was good and reasonable. Unfortunately because it was late in the day they had run out of some items (omelette, pork bun) though the sandwiches were good and there were some good vegetarian options. Get here earlier!

A perfect little place to stop for a light lunch or even some cake and coffee! It is run by two lovely women who seem to love what they do, not to mention the other lovely staff who seem so cheerful even though they're running around on their feet. Unfortunately, however, we were left waiting an hour from when we ordered to be served our food! Bear in mind, we ordered two sandwiches and a shared "mezze" which included cold pâtés and some bread - disappointing to say the least! The sandwiches were advertised as "served on local fresh bread" so I was expected some beautiful Portuguese bread which we'd had in other restaurants (and that the mezze was served with). Once again, disappointed, as the sandwiches were served on run of the mill baguettes which I can get from anywhere! Overall, disappointed by the food & service, but loved the relaxed atmosphere. Good luck to the ladies on their venture!

Hoe verrassend was de ontdekking van dit mooi ingerichte café en de enthousiaste bediening. Een plek met een verhaal en bijzonder lekker eten. Wij hadden een rundvlees taartje met groene erwtjes. Wonderlijk lekker! Erg prettig koel binnen kunnen zitten, maar als de warmte je nog niet teveel was de mogelijkheid op het terrasje in de binnentuin ook bijzonder. Echt de moeite waard. Goed zoeken naar de smalle ingang.
