Nice little cafe but no food after 3pm since they close the kitchen. The menu is a bit misleading since it says that food is available from midday (1200, noon) until closing. Happy hour is ok for the location.

A este local nunca mais vou,se somos ingleses somos atendidos rápido e bem,falamos português estamos trinta minutos sentados na mesa e somos ignorados por e simplesmente! Que país é o nosso que não estima nem respeita os seus cidadãos?!! Ainda por cima a empregada é inglesa,nada simpática parece mesmo um caldinho sem sal,se algum dia os ingleses começarem a partir eu quero ver do que é que eles vivem?! Respeitar os ingleses sim,atende los bem sim,mas não esquecer que estamos em Portugal,e os portugueses são GENTE!!!!!!!!

Great location. It took a long time for food to come as kitchens were down. Coupled by the fact our waitress was unhelpful and seemed fed up of serving customers. Food was very average. Coffee was OK. Cafe owner was very pleasant shame his staff weren't up to the job.

Great little place to grab a drink or quick bite to eat. The staff make it get 5 stars tho, very friendly. Good selection of beers and cocktails. We keep going back...cheers!

Das Beach Café ist immer bestens besucht. Die Mitarbeiter sind freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die Lage ist sehr gut. Im Rücken eine hohe Steinmauer, nach vorne freier Blick auf den Strand und das Meer. Der Burger war lecker, die Sangria auch. Ich werde wieder hingehen und kann es somit nur empfehlen.

Perfekt für kleine Snacks und leckeren Kaffee. Das Essen war schmackhaft und in einem ordentlichen Preis/ Leistungsverhältnis. Das Panorama kann sich ebenfalls sehen lassen.

Lovely cafe/bar with great food menu. Great location, right on the beach sidewalk. Friendly staff, quick service and fresh, tasty food. (Little sparrow crept in on the steps by the door, didn't bother us though!)

I was absolutely, totally disgusted while visiting the cafe with my elderly parents on Wednesday morning. We were enjoying our mid-morning coffee on the terrace when we all were astounded by the foul language coming from inside the cafe by your chef. I would expect it on a building site BUT NOT from a female chef. I have never been so embarrassed in all my life. I have since been informed that this is not a one off as a good friend of mine has heard it all before from the same employee. I will NOT be returning.- DISGUSTED!!!

I used to be a regular here with previous owners. Tried again this week...what an unpleasant experience today!
Waitress cleared my table without acknowledging me. Then came back to take my order without a hint of a smile or pleasantries (not even a thank you after taking order) -, leaving me feeling as if I had upset her in some way; quite bizarre?
Such a shame. Prime spot, but clearly now aimed at tourists looking to spend lots of money.

Perfect terras in de zon, uit de wind en zicht op zee. Heerlijk voor koffie met "pastéis de nata" op plank met verse aardbei, of borrel !!! Vriendelijke bediening.. ook buiten het seizoen. Top

Such a fabulous setting right on the beach. Lots of people watching, even in winter, when the sun is still shining. Beach looks fabulous. Coffee is great here and cocktails are available. Food is of good standard. Staff are chatty. Lovely place to while an hour away.

Einmal und nicht nochmal. Bedienung freundlich aber das Essen ist nicht wirklich den Preis wert. "French fries in basket" waren Mini-Fritten im Schälchen. Burger und Sandwich waren trockenes Brot und bisschen Garnitur. Das einzig Schöne war die Lage an der Promenade.

Fantastic service, beautiful views and actually ...quite good food. Love this place for a breakfast, nice lunch, wonderful pingado in the afternoon, great snack-dinner or a lovely drink in the evening. Anytime is lovely-time there. Magic Luz!
Will definitely spend too much time there years to come.

Perfekter Platz für Kaffee, Snacks (unbedingt die Hot Chicken Wings probieren!) oder leckere Sangria. Super Blick über den Strand und die Promenade. Und das Team ist extrem freundlich und flott. Selbst, wenn es mal etwas hektischer zugeht.

Great location at the beach, not bad menu. Food was good but took far too long to get served and food delivered, all in all over an hour to eat. Gave it another go this week and same again, slow service. Disappointing.

Bar très sympa avec une vue magnifique sur la plage, idéal pour boire un verre et passer un dîner agréable le soir. Plats à partager très bons et copieux, à un prix très raisonnable. Les serveurs sont très accueillants. Une super adresse !

Pedi uma baguette e demoraram mais de 40 min a servir um pão literalmente com bacon dentro.... Não percebo o porquê de tanta demora e os preços são demasiado altos para a qualidade da comida servida. Não voltarei.

We loved this place! All was great - food, drinks, location, ambience. Really nice staff ready to meet any request and always with a smile on their face! We definitely come back one day for the dipping duet of french fries, sangria and delicious cheesecake.

Small and friendly . This cafe is in a wonderful location beside the beach. Sit and watch the waves, in sun and rain. Very relaxing, awesome staff.

Good food and offers value for money. Sitting watching the sea and passers by on the seafront walkway makes this a good spot, and convenience from the beach makes it an easy place to stop for a snack or a meal without interrupting your day. Serves good breakfast as well to get your day off to a good start!

Great setting right on the beach. Priced for tourists. We went on a Sunday for lunch. We ordered the lunch special and they were out already!! Ordered seabream and it was tasty. They we're out of pastel de nata...the portuguese national pastry!! Not our day:)

This lovely cafe is under new management and what a great place to be! Great cocktails and amazing food. No more take away icecream but with milkshakes, smoothies and a great choice of menu there's something here for everyone :)

Seit 20 Jahren kommen wir in dieses Café. Es ist wunderschön gelegen und man kann seit eh und je einen Kaffee oder sonstige Getränke und Snacks essen. Seitdem der Besitzer gewechselt hat gefällt es uns nicht mehr wie früher. Ausser einer Bedienung, Maciel aus Brasilien, der immer zuvorkommend und freundlich ist, haben die anderen wohl weniger Interesse am Kunden.
Zum zweiten Mal passierte uns jetzt Folgendes, weshalb ich nur einen Stern gebe und das Lokal ab sofort meiden werde :
Es wurden, trotz Sonne und einigen Wolken KEINE Sonnenschirme mehr aufgestellt. So die Anordnung des Chefs! Auf Nachfrage ebenso nicht. Die Sonneneinstrahlung ist am Strand erheblich! Erst recht für Nordeuropäer. Als wir erneut darum baten, meinte der Chef, wir können ja aufstehen und woanders hingehen! EINE UNVERSCHÄMTHEIT. Das ist kein Verhalten gegenüber Kunden, langjährigen Kunden! Zudem kostet der Espresso jetzt 1.20 Euro, auch das ist Abzocke.
