I live near this market and this is the most convenient place, the guys in there help with anything I need and are very kind and friendly in all hours of the day. I have had no issues finding anything and the market provides me with most essential items. I highly recommend this market for anybody in the area!

This store has excellent service! The staff speak English and have helped me found local resources and have all the supplies needed for grocery. I enjoyed mostly their collection and knowledge of local wine and port wine. Very good price also. Glad to have access to such a put stop for my everyday needs.

Great little find in Alfama. My wife and I have been staying in an apartment not far from here and stop by this grocery store every other day. A surprising large selection for a small grocery store. A good variety of products and always open when I have needed something. Friendly service. English spoken. Good selection of wine and fruit. Cash only is the only down side.

First, this is not a grocery store. It is misrepresented with false pictures. It’s like a minimart. It’s dingy, the produce was old and rough looking, and selection in general was poor. The pictures listed are not of this minimart. I couldn’t believe it was the same place. I also bought a bottle of wine which broke when I opened it with a wine opener. I brought it back thinking it was a defective bottle. I got berated for doing so and told it was my fault. Then the gentleman told me this happens frequently which is why he offers to open bottles for people. But he didn’t offer to open for me or warn me. Bottom line, life is short and Lisbon is beautiful. Avoid this place. There are much nicer, brighter, better stocked “minimarts” that don’t misrepresent their store or products or yell at tourists who are on their second day in the country trying to figure things out.

For the first time in my life I negotiated the prices in a grocery store. They will manually enter the prices in the computer instead of the usual barcode scanning. I asked for the price of some cheese, and then later they offered me a discount on the original price when they noticed I didn't buy it. Prepare to get lied to about the prices.

Best Minimart in Lisbon! Wonderful service and the best wine selection at an even better price. Every time we went in we were offered recommendations on wines and were helped in making the best choice. Great staff, great selection, great city :)
