Erstes und letztes mal, Kleinbus reserviert und riesiges Schlachtschiff bekommen. Plätze die wir reserviert haben hatten zum Teil keine Möglichkeit die Grösse unterzzstellen. Touren in Städte unmöglich. Über Rent A Camper in Deutschland gemietet- "wir müssen das Upgrade hinnehmen". Niemals wieder Rent A Camper oder McRent... keinesfalls zu empfehlen

Atendimento muito bom, auto caravanas novas. Só aconselho perder uma hora no mínimo para fazer o checklist do carro antes de assinar. Tire fotos, filme tudo pois com absoluta certeza na entrega vc vai ter que pagar coisas que não foi vc que fez pois a vistoria de recebimento é hiper detalhada enquanto a se entrega para vc é bem básica.

AVISO : Pensem várias vezes antes de alugarem uma autocaravana à McRent (Parracho).
Alugámos uma autocaravana no mês de Dezembro de 2018; a caravana era praticamente nova e foi entregue com celeridade.
Tivemos um incidente com a autocaravana (embatemos , ao de leve, contra um arbusto e ficou com 2 buracos que não penetraram o interior: fotos abaixo).
Quando a entregámos e explicámos o sucedido, pedi para ver a tabela de orçamentos para arranjo e foi nos dito que não tinham; achei estranho porque a McRent tem oficina própria (Parracho).
Pedimos orçamentos em paralelo a outras empresas e rondavam os 500 euros. Dias mais tarde a McRent envia nos um email com uma factura anexada em que ficavam com o valor da caução total (1500euros), sem estar descriminada sequer (valor de materiais, mão de obra,...) e a dizer que o valor do arranjo era superior a 1500euros.
Questionei-os relativamente ao facto da factura não ter detalhe nenhum sobre os arranjos e disse-lhes os valores de orçamento que me tinham apresentado; 6 dias depois apresentaram-me uma fatura 'forjada',detalhada, com um arranjo de 7000 euros: completamente absurdo e rídiculo.
A McRent é uma empresa que age de má fé, desonesta, e, independentemente da percentagem de estragos feitos, tem COMO OBJECTIVO FICAR COM O DINHEIRO DA CAUÇÃO. A evitar!

Warning: Think twice before renting an autocaravan at McRent (Parracho )
We rented an autocaravan in December 2018; the autocaravan was pratically new and it was delivered fast.
We had an inccident ( we hit a bush, lightly,that made 2 holes; it didn't penetrate the interior: pictures below).
When we delievered and explained the situation I asked about their repair price list and they told us they didn't have one : I found it odd because they have their own repair shop (Parracho).
Meanwhile I asked several autocaravan companies for their repais prices for this situation and they were around 500 euros.A few days later we received an email from McRent with a receipt saying they had charged us the total security deposit (1500 euros);
the receipt didn't even say the cost of the materials,manual labor,..but it said it was above 1500euros.
When I replied saying that I had collected other repais prices and the specifications of the repair receipt it took them 6 days to forge a false , detailed,receipt with a repair price of 7000 euros : completely absurd and utterly ridiculous.
McRent is a dishonest company : it doesn't matter the amount of damage you make, because ALL THEY WANT IS TO KEEP YOUR SECURITY DEPOSIT. Avoid it!

Wir haben 2017 und 2018 jeweils für zwei Wochen bei McRent Lissabon ein Wohnmobil gemietet. 2017 das vollintegrierte Compact Luxus von Dethleffs, 2018 ein Modell mit Alkoven. Die Wohnmobile waren beide Male in sehr gutem Zustand.
In unserer persönlichen Erfahrung ist McRent Lissabon vollkommen vertrauenswürdig und korrekt. Das Personal ist nicht immer super-freundlich; der gesamte Ablauf der Übergabe dauert zwei Stunden, ja, aber alles ist korrekt.
Bei Übergabe ist eine Kaution in Höhe der Selbstbeteiligung der CDW-Versicherung zu hinterlegen. Diese wird auf der Kreditkarte reserviert/abgebucht (je nach Modell bis zu 2.000 EUR). Wir haben das Wohnmobil mit einem selbst verursachten Schaden zurück gegeben und sind nach Hause geflogen. Nach nur einem weiteren Arbeitstag war der Schaden bereits taxiert und der Restbetrag der Kaution auf die Kreditkarte zurück gebucht. Die Schadenshöhe war fair bestimmt; ich hatte mit mehr gerechnet (zwei Karosserieteile gerissen, Material plus Ein- und Ausbau zusammen 250 EUR). Die Abrechnungsdokumente des Schadens erhält man unaufgefordert per Email und, falls nicht mehr auffindbar, nach einem Anruf in Lissabon auch noch ein zweites Mal zugemailt. D.h. wenn man den hohen Selbstbehalt von 2.000 EUR - wie ich - bei einem Drittanbieter versichert hat, den man nun in Anspruch nehmen muss, hat man alle notwendigen Unterlagen dafür schon zur Hand.
Nimmt man den optionalen Toll Service in Anspruch, ist auch dafür eine Kaution von 100 EUR zu hinterlegen, die erst einen Monat nach Rückgabe final abgerechnet werden kann. Auch hier: alles korrekt, ohne dem hinterher rennen zu müssen.
Bei Übergabe des Wohnmobils bestätigt man per Unterschrift, dass es keine (außer der aufgeführten) Vorschäden hat. Hierfür darf man es natürlich akribisch inspizieren. Sie stellen einem sogar eine Leiter hin und fordern einen auf, das Dach zu begutachten. Wenn man mit zwei relativ verrückten Kindern reist, wird einem da schon Angst und Bange. Bei Rückgabe hatten unsere Wohnmobile dann auch beide Male definitiv mehr "Gebrauchsspuren" als vorher. Die Begutachtung durch McRent war aber in beiden Fällen sehr wohlwollend. Es wurden keinerlei Macken moniert (natürlich bis auf den Kollisionsschaden, als uns ein Baum beim Rückwärtsfahren von hinten angesprungen hat).
Warum also nur vier Sterne statt fünf?
2018 hatten wir uns aus den verfügbaren Grundrissen bewusst einen bestimmten heraus gesucht. Die Buchungsbestätigung nennt allerdings stets nur die Buchungsklasse. Unter dieser Buchungsklasse ("Family Plus") wurden aber unterschiedliche Grundrisse angeboten. Versehen mit dem Hinweis, dass dies nur Beispielgrundrisse seien. Erhalten haben wir vor Ort dann in der Tat einen anderen Grundriss als ausgewählt. Man fragt sich insoweit, warum die beiden verschiedenen Grundrisse dann überhaupt separat angeboten werden und bei Buchung auswählbar sind. Nun ja. Die wesentlichen Grundrisselemente (Etagenbetten hinten und vorne Alkoven) stimmten.
Die Übergabe dauert zwei Stunden mit viel Papierkram, für den die Mitarbeiterin teilweise in der Tat minutenlang wortlos hinter ihrem Pult nach unten auf ihren Schreibtisch guckt und man sich fragt "Ob sie noch weiß, dass ich hier stehe?". Dieser Prozess ist zwar absolut im Griff, weil das Personal große Routine darin hat und genau weiß, was es tut (keinerlei Fluktuation von 2017 auf 2018, alle Mitarbeiter waren noch da), aber es scheint selbst ein bisschen genervt von dessen Aufwendigkeit und Dauer zu sein, so dass es nicht dazu neigt, dem Kunden nebenbei auch noch ungefragt zu erklären, was es tut. So werden einem viele Papiere zur Unterschrift vorgelegt, über die nicht viele Worte verloren werden. Mglw. kann hier auf Basis der bei Buchung gemachten Angaben noch mehr vorbereitet werden.
Daher wird die Einweisung/Demonstration des Wohnmobils mitunter auch mit für Erstmieter zu hoher Geschwindigkeit durchlaufen und die Inventarliste zur Unterschrift vorgelegt.
Das mitgebuchte WLAN funktionierte nach ein paar Tagen nicht mehr. Unter den Polyesterdecken schwitzt man tierisch.

We hired a motorhome from MCrent to do a bit of surfing along the coast in October. We found them really helpful and attentive. They stayed open late for us when we were delayed in picking the motorhome up, they took us through how everything works, explaining it carefully and were on call when we had any questions. We got all our deposit back on the day we returned it. I'd recommend using these guys :)

I completely agree with all the other negative reviews.
I was charged 1000EU for the replacement of a wing mirror and 2 minor rear bumper parts, which did not need replacing.
While returning the vehicle I was informed that a quote would be sent to me and I would have to agree on the charges before the completion of the work, this did not happen.
I did my research and was able to find the OE parts for half the price.
It's saddening that my experience had to end this way after visiting such a beautiful country.
McRent was chosen for me by a third party rental site, so I did not have a choice of the supplier. In the future I'll be sure to deal directly with reputable honest companies.
Additionally, it took me 1.2 hours to receive the vehicle and there were more staff than clients. I do have to say that the gentleman who finally helped was great.
I would give 0 stars if this review would let me.

Had to wait 2h after agreed pick up time until our car was ready. Also other guests were waiting for approx that time to get their car. All in all not a pleasant way to start your holiday.

BEWARE of Mcrent and its partners & franchise businesses. All of them have the same dishonest policies. ífinf out yourself... read into reviews.
Be prepared MCRENT will try to charge you with false trumped-up reasons and deduct it from your security deposit.
The least you can take for granted is an ill-mannered customer handling. If any problem arise durimg your rental be prepared to take care of them yourself. If you complain you will be treated in an inadmissible way. For details READ FURTHER ....
Their RVs are not well cared for .. serach the net and read other reviews too not only mine Rental stations across Europe are listed separatly and read reviews, observ rating in detail). Don't run into the mistake we run luring yourself into they they are reliable and honest.
Our camping van had sinks completely clogged. The fridge did not work for 4 days. This is because the business did not give proper advvice, directions when handing over and did not help to restore the problems turning a deaf ear. After a ton af call and emails and basic useless advice, we had to take care of these problems ourself by seraching the web for long hours / days. We were not compensated for this shortfall despite having asked for. Obviously incopmetent and irresponsible handling was denied. We were taken for liars and idiots. When returning the van, they denied to make record about these issues and behaved in an inadmissible rude and unethical way. They did not, won't bother to answer our email requests for compensation. IN CONSTRAST they have returned 200 euros less from the security deposit giving fake, false reasoning. Once more.. read other reviews... Be prepared MCRENT will try to charge you with false trumped-up reasons and deduct it from your security deposit. .. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!

Aluguei um motorhome em dez/19, e sinceramente, não indicaria pois o atendimento foi muito ruim e hostil! Para os brasileiros que irão alugar um motorhome pela 1º vez, aqui vão algumas dicas rápidas:
1º Tente ser atendido pelo brasileiro, ele parece ser simpático e atencioso. Infelizmente não tive essa sorte e fui atendida por uma pessoa totalmente inexperiente, que nunca tinha andado de motorhome e que passou várias explicações equivocadas, incompletas e em discordância com o manual do carro.
2º Seja bem meticuloso ao analisar os defeitos do carro na inspeção, faça constar todos os pequenos danos no contrato.
3º Filme toda as instruções! São muitos detalhes e também servem de prova se imprevistos acontecerem por causa de explicações mal dadas.
4º Peça que troquem o gás que está em uso por um lacrado. Se precisar comprar um na estrada, guardem a notinha.
5º Refaça tudo que foi aprendido para ter certeza que entendeu antes de sair do pátio: abra todas as portas, veja por onde a água entra, mexa no aquecedor, coloque a mangueira no gás..
*Não sei se é por causa de algumas diferenças linguísticas e culturais, mas foi mais fácil buscar as respostas no manual do carro do que perguntar para a empresa.
INFO: Nos pedágios da Espanha e Portugal, a cobrança é baseada na distância percorrida x altura do veículo, o pagamento pode ser feito em dinheiro e cartões de crédito ou débito. A maioria das cabides de pedágio funcionam com máquinas automatizadas, por isto, é sempre bom ter dinheiro em espécie, para o caso de o seu cartão não ser aceito ou haver um problema com o leitor da máquina. [LIS – POR 21,25€] [LIS – ALG 20,20€] [BARC – TAR 13.31€]
**Na McRent é oferecido o dispositivo da Via Verde, que só serve para não ter que parar no pedágio para pagar cada vez que você sai de uma rodovia. Cai nessa roubada, paguei 18,00€ para algo totalmente dispensável, não aconselho! Fora que a explicação dada sobre o dispositivo foi muito ruim, éramos 4 brasileiros adultos e todos entenderam algo bem diferente.
OBS: A locadora, apesar de estar escrito no site que fica em Lisboa, se localiza em Sintra. Eles fecham das 13h às 15h, se chegar neste horário, ficará esperando na rua.

We rented a camper and the fridge didn't work. 1 week without fridge. No service!
Additionally we had a slight scratch from a branch of about 10 cm. This was charged us with 907€ !!! - rip off!!
Never again with McRent!

Sam kamper super, natomiast obsługa to jest dramat. Czekaliśmy 3 godziny aż obsługa się nami zajęła. Tłumaczą się, że w wakacje jest bardzo duży ruch, ale chyba nie pracują tu pierwszy dzień. Wiedząc to biuro powinno zatrudniać dwa razy więcej pracowników.

Terrible experience. I rent a camping car in July 2019, the agency will rent you a vehicle for an important amount, then after they let you alone. If you have any question, they simply do not respond to your phone calls. They do not help you with tolls, details of your camping car, etc. They have no sense of service. I advise you to avoid this company.

Rented a camper at Parracho Store / McRent. Handover was good and all employees were nice. Till end of our vacation we recognized a lot of smell. After some time we recognized that we had a water leak and mould in the bottom / floor of the car. We called McRent and they told us to come back because we were near to the station.We had to cancel our vacation 1 day earlier. The stuff was very unfriendly and the rest 2 hours in lunch break. She told us that we could be lucky that she is opening for us.... So no chance to discuss a customer friendly way to handle that issue. for sure there is probably no failure on mcrent side about the water because the vehicle was completely new. So it seems to be a construction failure from beginning on. But the issue handling and customer service was very bad!

Extremely bad customer service - no hello when you arrive, then they sit behind the counter and do whatever, but do not communicate with you. The motorhome we rented was partially in terrible condition (from leaking water supply, to furniture falling apart to a very noisy suspension (like never maintained)). I would not come back.
