Had an amazing time at the surf embassy hostel! Super nice place close to everything in town and only a 30 minute walk to some of the best surf around Talmo the host is sick and the nicest fella going round!! Highly recommend!

Superschönes, familiäres Hostel. Uns hat es so gut gefallen, dass wir direkt nochmal zurückgekommen sind. Das kleine Hostel liegt mitten in Peniche und ist mit viel Liebe eingerichtet und wird auch so geführt. Lili kümmert sich so lieb um alle Gäste und deren Bedürfnisse und bei Marco hatten wir geniale Surf Sessions. Danke für alles und hoffentlich bis bald!

Had an absolute blast time at this hostel! It’s right in the center of Peniche, 15 min walk to the beach and 30 min to Supertubos. You have bikes and skateboards to use for free, and you can rent various surf boards and guys will drive you to the beach. The hostel staff are very welcoming, they took us to the party on a Friday night to Baleal and simply made this stay very comfortable and exciting: the place is clean and new, roof terrace, yoga mats etc.

I wish that I could give this place more stars! If you are looking for somewhere that feels like home with a super friendly and helpful staff than look no further. I took a few surf lessons here and the instructors were not only very professional and knowledgeable but a lot of fun and without the attitude one sometimes can experience at surf schools. Telmo, the owner, obviously hires people that are genuinely hospitable and friendly and very good at what they do. You will not be disappointed. Surf Embassy made my stay in Peniche THE highlight of travelling through Portugal:) I will be back!

Très beau, très chaleureux, très propre, le personnel et super cool. Parcontre si vous êtes dans le dortoir du rez-de-chaussée, c'est pas la peine de vouloir dormir plus tard que 7h30 8h. C'est assez bruyant

Without doubt the best hostel I've stayed at! Both in terms of facilities (very clean, nice showers, & very good beds), and location & services (you can use the hostels bike, skateboard or longboard around city). Beers, Redbull and water was already in the fridge when I arrived, so you just can drink what you want, and replace it later with what you took. The owner is a really cool and friendly surfer dude, that offered a really good surf course for only 25 EUR. And as a non-surfer, (until now) I still felt welcome!
