Fuimos por las buenas opiniones que tenía este hostal y por una recomendación, pero en absoluto era nada así. No nos sentimos cómodas en ningún momento, al llegar por la tarde nos atendió una chica joven muy simpática, pero por la mañana había otra chica que podía decir las cosas de mejor manera, no podíamos acceder de un sitio para otro, el desayuno era MUY básico sin mucha opción donde elegir. Por el contrario diré que hay mucha limpieza y las habitaciones son muy amplias y cómodas.

El desayuno fue bastante pobre y no había opciones sino te gustaba lo que servían. Una de las personas del personal (mañanas) no era nada amable. Lo primero que hizo fue echarnos la bronca de mala manera por algo que nadie nos había explicado que no podiamos hacer.

Incantevole. Bello e semplice, ricco di fascino antico. È un luogo molto easy going, con una favolosa vista sulle mura della città. La proprietaria è una persona molto carina e gentile. Attenta e molto simpatica. L'ostello si trova davvero molto vicino alla rodoviaria ed è facile da arrivare. Il salotto è accogliente, le camere sono abbastanza spaziose ed i servizi molto puliti. Ottima colazione. Ma soprattutto la buona compagnia.

Peniche Hostel is home! One of my most favourite places to go. I've been three years ago and came back this April, and I loved it again. Peniche is a wonderful place, absolutely relaxed, a lot of good vibes - and so is Peniche Hostel. It is a very familial place. Having breakfast together on a lovely decorated table. The rooms are super clean and decorated in a stylish and the same time unobtrusive way. And Xana is an amazing host. It was a pleasure to be there again and I'm already looking forward to go back there. Lots of love and see you soon! <3 Lena

Peniche Hostel is absolutely fantastic—it was the perfect experience for this small coastal surf town. Easily the best choice for travelers! Hospitality - This is the most important aspect of traveling, in my opinion. Xana and the other staff here are extremely friendly and make you feel as though you’ve been friends forever! This is a nice treat when traveling away from home. Breakfast is included every morning and gives you the perfect opportunity to meet others at the hostel. Very welcoming and friendly atmosphere. Xana and the staff are also extremely knowledgeable regarding Peniche and other locations in Portugal, so I received some great recommendations from them in regards to activities, dining, sightseeing, local culture, etc. Location - Short walk from the bus station, and you are located within a short walking distance of downtown. Plenty of affordable bicycle rentals nearby if you’d like to get around quicker as well during your stay. Amenities - Very clean and well kept. The space is quaint and comforting/relaxing. There’s a nice lounge/living room area to meet other travelers or sit after a long day. Washer/dryer available, as well as kitchen privileges.

From the moment you walk into Peniche Hostel you feel like you’re at home. The rooms are well presented, clean and great value for money. You’re no further than a ten minute walk from some of the best surfing in Portugal and the staff will be more than happy to point you in the direction of some delicious local cuisine. Be sure to check out the beachside apartments too! Can’t wait for my next visit.

Nice decor but the Staff made us feel unwelcome and were really rude. We left in the morning before even brushing our teeth because there was a horrible awkward atmosphere in the breakfast room. Very disappointing.
