Endroit merveilleux, calme proche de l océan. Propriétaires très sympa, disponible, une cuisine régionale excellente,copieuse, chambre propre, soignée.

Un merveilleux lieu pour passer des vacances en famille ou entre amis! La cuisine est top, locale et pas chere, et pour ceux qui aiment le surf, Cette guest house est faite pour vous! Elle est jumelée avec une ecole de surf sur péniche.... je recommande !!!

I work for the surf school that provides lessons for the surf and yoga retreat, and on occasion I am invited to enjoy a dinner or lunch with my client. It is the happiest part of my week. On a map it seems far away, but it's a 10 minute drive from the school and I feel like I'm in a different part of the country. Away from the crowds, noise, smells and development of the peniche and baleal área, Óbidos guest village sits in a beautiful quiet valley, where I can absolutely stuff my face with traditional home cooked typical Portuguese food. You will NEVER go hungry there, seriously (and I am always hungry). While you sit at the table in this beautiful old kitchen you can watch Tânia and Cátia preparing the food and chat away about the abundant waves and hikes you can take in the area!!!

Perfect stay in Portugal A beautifully restorated guesthouse in a lovely village. The owners did an amazing job in creating and capturing a real Portugese atmosphere. The house has everything to have a relaxed stay; kitchen, living, swimming pool, parking. It is all very neat and clean. I was there for a surf retreat and it was all well organised, so I got a perfect, worry-free, laid back week thanks to the hosts. They were very helpfull and took great care for me. And the food: it was just amazing. In the end forgot my swimshorts at the surfschool and they were even so kind to send these to my place in the Netherlands. So unbelievably kind. Can’t wait to go back there.

I had a great time at Óbidos Village Guest House! The hosts Tânia, Cátia and Carlos are very friendly people and they made everyone feel welcome. The guesthouse itself is beautifully renovated while maintaining the original Portugese details. They even got chickens and goats! The cooking of Tânia and Cátia is what makes this week into a true Portugese experience: they should make a cookbook! I felt very welcome and had a fantastic stay. I will be back for sure!

Wir (3 Mädels) haben nach einem schönen Yoga & Surf Retreat gesucht und gefunden! Die Anreise war unbeschwerlich (mit dem Bus 1h aus Lissabon) - ein Transfer seitens des Guest Houses wäre auch möglich gewesen. Wir kamen in Óbidos an und waren begeistert. Cátia (eine von den 2 Besitzerinnen) hat uns am Bus abgeholt, nach Mail-Rücksprache. Die Unterkunft ist traumhaft schön: stylisch und modern. Man sieht sofort, dass hier so viel Liebe drin steckt und die Besitzerin Architektur studiert hat. Es gibt einen Pool und Poolliegen, alles top modern und sauber. Umgehauen hat uns dann das Essen von Tânia (die Besitzerin). Wow!! Sie hat alles frisch gekocht- früh, mittags und abends. Mehrere Gänge und unglaublich lecker. Das muss man selbst erlebt haben! Wir wurden auch gefragt, ob wir vegan, vegetarisch oder andere Essgewohnheiten/ Wünsche haben. Dazu gibt es immer Getränke (Wasser, Wein,...). Wasser und Obst im Guest House stand immer zur Verfügung. Nach dem Frühstück wurden wir von Carlos (Tânias Mann und Surflehrer) abgeholt und in die Surfschule nach Peniche mitgenommen, mit einem Wet-Suit und Board ausgestattet und dann ging es los - echt guter Surfunterricht! =) Cátia hat uns nach der Surfeinheit immer geholt und Tânia hat in der Zeit bereits das Mittagessen vorbereitet. Alles ist so familiär und liebevoll. Abends gab es dann 1,5h Yoga zum Ausgleich. Eine super Kombination. Wir waren rundum und ganz ehrlich begeistert und würden jederzeit wiederkommen!!

Alojamento muito calmo e acolhedor. Higiene 5*, cuidado com o aquecimento, mantendo uma temperatura agradável durante toda a estadia. Fomos acompanhados de um bebé e apesar de apanhados de surpresa, em menos de nada tivemos direito a uma cama de grades no quarto.
