We had an amazing week during our stay at surfiberia. Elliss and Luis created a beautiful place to be which felt like home. We had so much fun surfing with Luis in different spots close to the lodge. We will definitely come back next year and recommend the SurfLodge to everybody who is looking for a surf trip with amazing people :)

I highly recommend Surfiberia for any holiday! The surf lessons are very good. During these lessons, they really take time to teach you in an enthusiastic and motivating way. The house itself is nicely decorated, and nicely located. It is easy to reach Sintra, from which the it's a direct train to Lisbon. The owners are very kind and helpful, and make you feel like you're at home. All in all, I had an amazing experience at Surfiberia!

Surfiberia is just so amazing. It feels like a home away from home. Cannot recommend this place enough. Ellis and Luis are the most welcoming, and incredibly friendly people ever, who went out of their way to help as much as they could, to make our stay and the surfing lessons perfect. The lodge is stylish, super tidy, situated in a charming location, very close to Sintra (just few bus stops away). The common kitchen offers everything you need and as a bonus you can also chill in super hipstery designed lobby area or on a terrace with an ocean view. In the mornings, there is the absolutely best breakfast served. I will totally be back as soon as I can. Thanks guys. xx

I had an amazing stay with Eliss and Luis! The rooms were very comfortable, the service highly personable (felt more like friends than hosts), and the surfing instruction was great! I HIGHLY recommend staying at their place to experience the small-town charm, the beautiful natural surroundings, and their excellent hospitality.

Fantastic crew, super comfortable place to crash in, beautiful area. Definitely worth it if your looking to surf or learn how to surf. I'll never forget this place and I'm so excited to comeback!

Best surf Lodge I have ever been to . Location, vibe and Quality of instructors are the best I have ever experienced. A must when you are at the west coast north of Lisbon.

A wonderful place to stay for a surfing getaway. Luis and Elliss are great hosts and make you feel very welcome. The location is perfect, a tucked away village feel, but close enough to everything you might need. All highly recommended.

Elliss and Luis are awesome hosts and the lodge is the perfect place to relax and explore after the lessons. The surf is great for beginners and Luis is a brilliant coach. It’s really easy to get to the lodge from Lisbon and it’s a great location to explore Sintra. I’ll definitely be going back!

Surfiberia is one of my favourite places on the planet. The Eyre family helped me become more confident in heavier surf, and my surfing progressed a lot after every session with them. The lodge is steps away from a stunning beach, with a few surf breaks nearby walking distance and the surf mecca of Ericeira within a short drive. They have shared and private rooms to fit your budget/needs, and the town is relaxing, not swarmed with tourists, but still lively, and close to the action if you want some noise. If you are debating going there, just do it, you will not regret it! I've been back and hope to return again!

I had such an awesome time here, it’s so chilled and just lovely- perfect for a solo trip but also for couples or groups. Elliss and Luis are brilliant hosts and I had a great time surfing too! I will definitely be back.

Everything you want from a surf lodge. I hired a board and wetsuit from these guys. They gave me a great price and were kind to show me the set up. It has nice rooms (some have en-suite bathrooms). There is a large balcony and a roof terrace where you can watch the sunset in the evening

Surfiberia is the best place to stay if you want to live next to the ocean. Light and cozy rooms. Fresh and delicious breakfasts. The view from the roof is just amazing. Elliss and Luis are wonderful people who are always ready to help with anything. I have stayed at Surfiberia for 5 days and definitely planning to come back again.

The surfiberia’s owner are the most helpful, nice, kind and very organized people! The lodge is amazing: everything is very clear, very stylish, comfortable. The breakfast is every day prepared with love and is so fresh, it is very delicious!!! I can just recommend this surf school: they have very beautiful place to surf and the couch is very good. I stayed at surfiberia last summer for two weeks and I still felt like that wasn’t long enough. I had such an amazing time I just didn’t want to leave. The lodge is so lovely, well kept and very clean, I can’t fault it. Elliss and Luis made me feel right at home, both so lovely and friendly and even better Elliss makes the most delicious breakfast. YOU have to try it Along side Elliss amazing breakfast you have to try having a go at surifing with Luis, he is a great teacher and helps even an amateur like me be able to stand up on a board and surf a wave which is an AMAZING feeling. I definitely recommend surfiberia to everyone!! Thanks Elliss and Luis I’ll definitely be back again! X

What a fantastic surf lodge. Amazing facilities and such friendly helpful people. Would definitely recommend this wonderful place to anyone. Just a 2 minute walk to a beautiful sandy beach and local bars and restaurants serving fabulous food to suit all budgets. My husband and I had surf lessons with Luis who is an excellent teacher, we thoroughly loved every minute. Thank you so much Luis and Elliss we will back very soon, as we enjoyed our stay at your lovely lodge so much. I would give Surfiberia a 5 star rating.

I stayed with these awesome guys at their Surf Iberia beach house/ Lodge, in early September 2017. I originally booked 6 nights and 5 days of surf lessons, but ended up extending for an extra 2 nights, as I was having so much fun. I had never surfed before and had chosen to drive (road trip - highly recommend this option) from England to Portugal. Ellis helped with all directions and booking online and aided in making my progress hassle free. When I arrived, I found their gorgeous surf lodge, parked up and went inside to a warm, friendly welcome and met Ellis and Luis and the other guests staying at the time. For the next week, their home become mine and everyday I surfed - I had never surfed before and Luis is a great coach - I just felt at home in a relaxed environment. Breakfast was served daily before surfing and there was always too much food... By the end of my stay, I became an accomplished beginner surfer, knowing the basics, standing more times than I fall and being able to ride waves appearing like I know what i'm doing on a surf board! I would highly recommend anyone that's looking to learn to surf or improve their ability's to stay here and surf with these guys. I couldn't really have asked for a better first experience and will be back to do it again with them next year!
