Very quaint bar with cool decor serving up unique house blended pickled fava beans with all your cold brews. Comes complimentary!
Wifi access comes in handy when planning your next bar hop location.
Awesome and friendly English speaking barista made the visit very pleasant. Will definitely visit again next time we are back in Lisbon.

Authentic place for a few drinks. Groove Bar seems to have a history of comics. One wall is entirely mad if comics.

Nice bar with good drinks and service. There were a lot of big groups when we were there, which changed the atmosphere a little. Worth popping in for a drink or two if you're nearby.

I normally don't write reviews but I had such a great time in the groove bar that I would like to recommend it to everyone. If you are looking for a chilled place with mix of real music to enjoy a conversation with your friends or strangers as well as an awesome caipirinha (5 eur), other delicious cocktails, beer or few shots go for it. Definitely my favourite bar in Lisbon. Obrigado Francesco!

O Bar é bastante agradável se formos em grupos pequenos. O espaço pequeno não é convidativo a um maior grupo de pessoas. Há que ter em atenção que estamos no Bairro Alto. As bebidas são bastante boas.

Best bar in Lisbon!!! Always good music, superb service and very friendly staff. Great atmosphere for a casual drink, decor is creative and unique. Fair prices and good cocktails (though I prefer beer-3euro a pint), the place is not pretencious but very relaxed. I spent almost every evening here during my holidays, after a while didn't even bother to try finding a better place. I'd give 10 stars if I could. Stay awsome!!

Nice place to drink, with cool prices (3€ for a pint, 1.50€ for the shooter). The staff is really friendly and the music is awesome (David Bowie, good jazz, good rock'n roll...).

The service was good, they did try to accomodate us but don't take the Chocolate and orange, its absolutely horrible. pretty mediocre cocktails
as well - we only tried the Mojito in addition to the chocolate and orange .so maybe only they were bad. although when i tried ordering a pretty simple cocktail such as negroni they didn't have it since they don't have campari... that says a lot about a place.

First thing you'll notice about Groove Bar is it's tiny! Good things come in small packages however, and Groove Bar is certainly packing: great music, great selection of drinks, decent food and accomodating staff.
The interior design is also fantastic; the industrial bar frontispiece, with hanging vines and baubles contrasts nicely with its opposing wall which displays a vast collection of amateur (I presume?) modern art. A well situated TV displays a constant stream of entertaining and original visuals which work well with the aforementioned brilliant music.
All in all, Groove Bar would not seem out of place in Greenwich Village (NY), Canary Wharf or Honolulu. Arguably, it's a must see tourist destination for any hip kid.

Atmosphere is incredibly cool. You can have cocktails, draught and craft beers and wine from 2 euros. Love the decoration and the service was amazing. Music was really good too, smooth enough to have a good conversation.

Laid back, very cool place. The owner is obviously friends with everyone, and rightfully so. He was more than welcoming to my friend and I visiting from the USA and spent about 2 hours talking to us while we enjoyed drinks. Probably one of the best mojitos I've ever had!
