Best breakfast experience in Lisbon. Lots of flowers and plants. Fun staff and excellent food. Really well done :) we went back 3 times. Very much enjoyed the home baked bread and home cured salmon, that was epic. Good juices too. I'll definitely return next time.

Muito boa tosta de abacate, mas não tem ovo. Os Preços são um pouco altos por estar numa zona turística e pelo ambiente moderno da moda. O atendimento não é muito rápido. (café expresso: 1€. Tosta abacate: 5€. Pequenos almoços: 4€ - 8€)

Went twice on holidays for breakfast both times were very good. Nice atmosphere sharing building with a florist. Staff were nice and spoke English.

Pretty dreadful Sunday morning brunch experience. Terrible service. They said they were busy so it would take a while. We were happy to wait but didn’t realise how long they meant - must have been well over an hour before we got our food. We didn’t even get our drinks for about 45 minutes and my partner only finally got the cappuccino she ordered after the meal. Staff were not even apologetic, all rather shambolic. Food-wise the signature sandwich was good, so was the beetroot hummus and avocado, but the shakshuka was poor- over cooked eggs and seasoned with whole peppercorns that I had to pick out. A shame really because the place clearly has potential.

Nice cozy place which serves amazing healthy breakfast, and more.
We had toasted sandwiches, which were fantastic. Added some healthy fresh made juices and coffee, really cool.
They also sell freshly cut flowers within the shop.

Didn’t try the food but the cocktails were pretty special. This rum old fashioned was high standard cocktail to say the least with flowers infused into the ice. They had loads of special infused rums and liquors I didn’t get to try but I’m sure they wouldn’t have disappointed. Great teas as well, not stingy on the pot size as you can see lol.

Tried once, bad experience with the service received. One month after I gave another chance... and had a worse experience with the service and the food. And it is pricy. Clearly it is a no-no for me.

OK breakfast place. Biggest thing for us was that it was open on Christmas day.
Avocado toast was more like guacamole toast (all smashed), yogurt bowl had berries on the menu but it came with no berries. Americano felt like instant coffee.
I wouldn’t go out of my way to come to this place but if you don’t have any other option it’s OK.
People working here are very nice though.

It’s a cute cafe, and shared space with a florist. I ordered the vegetarian brunch, which was really simple and light, but exactly what I wanted. It did come with sweet toast which I was too full to really enjoy. I have never had it before, so I can’t compare it to anything.
I enjoyed the lemonade and the turmeric latte as well.
They have wifi, and the menu is in English, so it’s a great spot for tourists.
Bonus: They allow dogs inside, so I was greeted by a lovely golden retriever.

That Salmon bowl was a complete disappointment: The rice was raw, salmons were not fresh and the most delicious part of the bowl was those vegetables...

Escolhemos o menu brunch vegetariano e pelo exorbitante valor de 14 euros fomos servidas 2 ovinhos, uma micro porção de húmus de beterraba (nada de especial), uma micro porção de papa de abacate (o menu dizia “abacate” e não “papa de abacate”), UMA fatia de pão seco, uma micro porção de espinafres salteados saídos do frigorífico, e umas quantas folhas de espinafres crus. A acompanhar um copo de “limonada” que afinal era de frutos vermelhos (com açúcar). No fim o que no menu era referido como “toast” com queijo e doce era uma fatia de pão de forma seco e barrado com o que aparentava ser uma colher de requeijão, polpa de manga (?) e um suspiro esmagado. Resumindo: qualidade péssima. Quantidade mínima. Preço exorbitante. Serviço lento. Conforto nem por isso. É bonito e é para turistas. Não recomendo, há muito (mesmo muito) melhores sítios em Lisboa para pequenos almoço e brunch.
Edit in response to owner: I just took the trouble of reading through the reviews (which I had not done before) and realized I was not the first (or second) to comment on the fact that your portions are far too small, your menu overpriced, and your service slow. Ways to improve: Visit the truly well rated brunch places in Lisbon and find out what you can eat and drink for 14 or 15 euros (a lot of food! and delicious! with a speedy service and on beautiful cafés on great locations - e.g. baixa, campo de ourique, etc.) Try to match the competition :) If that´s not possible, make a more accurate description of what your are actually serving on your menu (you can add pictures too) and lower your prices.

I had a terrible food experience in this place.
Despite the sympathy of the staff and the ambience,what I found was not what I expected since this place was well reviewed on Google.
I ordered a set brunch menu for 14euros and the amount and quality of food was disappointing. The bread was not fresh, the avocado was mashed, the lemonade was pink and sweetened, the sweet toast were not toasted and were made of white bread.
I am Portuguese and I like to try brunches around the city. 14euros, in Lisbon, usually mean you will be well served. unfortunately not the case
I should have felt the vibe the minute I walked in with my friend. Only tourists were sitting in the room. I got the idea the typical costumer is a tourist that is not really sure what is getting in to and will not recommend, but would have a better experience in any other place.
My idea with this review is to "save" tourists and warn locals.
(Right now I am lining up to have a second (or real) brunch, this one I know and I believe I will finally have my well deserved brunch experience)

The bowls were quite tasty but really simple and done without a lot of effort. Just some oats with a couple of nuts and berries thrown on top.

The sign outside said "worst coffee in lisbon". I should have listened. Service was hopeless - they all seemed lost and confused. Very pricey for small plates. Only plus side was the very friendly dog, until he got taken away.
Edit in response to owner: we paid €14 each for "brunch", not €9. Brunch means a small plate or lukewarm stuff with a side dish of ricotta on toast smothered in sickly sweet mango puree. Maybe you should spend more time "helping" your staff (or training them) rather than stubbornly replying to every google review to tell everyone who hated your food how good it actually is. Or maybe we're all wrong and you're just a misunderstood genius waiting for the right customers to come along...

Great interiors but the food was shocking. The avocado on toast was served on a cold piece of bread, the coffee was lukewarm and served in a dirty mug and the eggs in the shashuka were raw. Avoid at all costs.

Pros: Food is delicious. And they are vegan friendly, which is still a hard thing to find in Lisbon.
Cons: Service not very friendly. The guy couldn't wait to get rid of us. And, as a local, the prices are a bit high.

We just stopped for fast snack. And order soup of the day and beer. Soup was vegetables and it was really amazing. The taste was like...like my hipster mum did it. I enjoy it here. If i will have chance I will return.

Perfect spot for lunch
There's just a great neighborhood feel at Bowls&Bar, old tram is passing by, lots of locals stopping by for coffee, meeting with friends for lunch or just to sit and work there. The menu has something for everyone, healthy and a little bit naughty. I felt there like at home, like someone is taking care of you.

Натуральное вино - отличная подборка и поддержка локальных производителей. Катя - хозяйка настоящий натурально-винный энтузиаст, может часами рассказывать о своём увлечении.

Bowls&Bar is one of my favorite places to go to eat a healthy, fresh meal and drink great coffee. The atmosphere is bright, colorful, and just beautiful. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The avocado toast is incredible. They really put thought into the flavor combination on this one. I highly recommend stopping here!

Par contre les menus proposés sont plutôt cher et ciblent plus les personnes veggies, sans gluten, etc... Un peu déçu par mon carrot cake bien que très beau. La tisane de citronelle par contre est excellente.

Local fantástico, atendimento espetacular. Boa decoração, e com uns doces feitos mesmo com amor e sabedoria. Boa localização no centro da cidade, recomendo vivamente um salto a quem é apreciador de um bom espaço calmo e acolhedor.

Very cozy place near the Assembly of the Republic. Food is very healthy and prepare with fresh vegetables and fish. Also they have many options for tasty drinks.
I go there quite often and my favorite bowl is the salmon one. :D

Decent spot for brunch. Healthy yummy selection of food in quite a classy, cool yet laid back setting. They have acafe dog who is a really cute pooch too
The espresso I ordered was pretty damn good, too.
Not 5 stars because the staff are not as attentive as I would like and prices are expensive for Lisbon. A plate of brunch food in Lisbon should not be over 12 euros.
Either way I’d still recommend it for tourists, but for those living in Lisbon it’s expensive.

I've visited this place in December last year so perhaps it improved since. My food experience was not great as I ordered Turkish eggs and what I received was a cold boiled egg dumped in a cold tomato sauce. Coffee was not great either but I think it had to do with the milk rather than the coffee itself. On a positive note, the waiter who served me was really nice and friendly. I also wasn't charged for the food (company policy). Good space and location.

Served (and charged) me a 0.4 beer for what should be 0.5 (according to the menu).
Waiter served food without cutlery.
In general it looked like it was his first day.
The "main course" (picture below) was a nice snack or a starter, but not a main course and different to what I expected from the menu.

Alla ricerca di un posto dove provare le super bowl di acaì, ci siamo imbattute in questo bar...in realtà niente acaì, ma in compenso una super bowl di porridge caldo preparato sul momento con mela, miele, cannella e lamelle di mandorle.
Abbiamo dovuto aspettare l'apertura alle 10, però il locale è molto carino ed ha una vista sulla calcada de la Estrela dove passa il famosissimo tram 28.
Beh straconsigliato se vi piace questo genere di colazione, anche se come prezzi siamo un pochino sopra la media della città ( 5 € una bowl ), però la location e il servizio ripagano.

Clear tourist trap. 4€ for a plain croissant is obviously for tricking tourists out of their money.
Coffee is watery at best, maybe this would pass as “specialty coffee” in marketing flyers but not in Lisbon.
Plenty of better places around in this area. Best avoided.

Best brunch and bloody Mary I've had. The fish brunch bril. The salmon was tasty, the stracciatelle cream cheese on the cous cous was to die for. And their home made jam on a cheese toasty as a side dish.....well if they had just given me that I would have been happy.
Really friendly staff, service slow, but they only had one waitress doing everything...making coffee.... cocktails.....serving food.....taking orders.
I went twice, was a bit disappointed the second time I went to find the drink choice on the brunch deal had changed from coffee or lemonade to just lemonade. I mean who doesn't want coffee in the morning??

Este local tem tudo para ser um sítio perfeito para heathy lifestyle lovers mas peca pela qualidade dos ingredientes em si. Tanto o salmão da bowl de salmão como o atum da salada de atum não eram da melhor qualidade e por isso estragaram um pouco a experiência. Outro problema foi só terem opção de leite de soja quando referi intolerância à lactose e não haverem mais opcoes. À parte desses pormenores, a decoração é bastante bonita, minimalista e rústica, fazendo lembrar uma casa antiga lisboeta. O staff é super delicado e atencioso. O preço não é o mais convidativo considerando outros sítios de chirashi que existem em Lisboa mas a qualidade das bowls é boa. Têm opções de bowls de pequeno almoço , brunch e almoço . A novidade são os Monster shakes que infelizmente só numa próxima poderei dar a minha opinião.

nice ambience and and ok selection of foods. the portions are pretty small for the price. we tried the tuna bowl (which was very simple, no sauce or any specials, but ok) and the "ramen". if you know and have eaten ramen, dont try theirs, it´s an udon noodle soup at best. though, it comes with half an egg and a few tiny enoki mushrooms (which doesnt make it a ramen either) the 4 thin slices of pork meat dont seem slow roasted at all, they rather taste like having been cooked for ages and is a bit dry as well (it reminded me of the cheap soup base beef used for cheap pho noodle soups).
the broth claims to be a pork and tuna broth, but in fact tastes shoyu based.
i told the waiter to tell it to his boss, he was very friendly and in general the service was good, but kitchen and menuwise there´s lot of room for improvements.

The location is very beautiful and the interior is quite hip BUT what the menu promised did not translate into taste. We had the signature sandwich (was good), the veggy bowl (the water of the noodle was not drained, it was still in the bowl but the aubergine and creamcheese was okay), and the tuna bowl (it was mostly rice but the tuna was fresh). Overall, it was okay but perhaps because we had very high expectations after all the instagram photos following the location and hashtag... we got disappointed. The coffee is quite yum though! I think it is a good quick coffee and sweet bite or sandwich kinda place + there is a high chance to run into a fluffy corgi + the bathroom is cool!

12JAN2018. 1910LT. In a way it’s comical, in another tragical. While sitting at your front window chair, now for fifteen plus minutes, waiting to make an order, I’m writing this review for you. The bartender, or whatever he is, has defo noticed me. There was three other customers in here in total and probably the same amount of staff. Red wine out of stock! Settled for a house white. I’ve had the bowls with tuna before and it was not bad. I believe none of the Russian owners were at location tonight. Unfortunately the staff employed appears totally incapable of working on their own. There are to many other choices around in this area to waste time going here. You get one star for the location on the corner. Avoid.

Abbiamo mangiato abbastanza bene e le cameriere gentili. Ma l'attesa per essere serviti è stata lunghissima (più di un'ora). Inoltre non accettano alcun tipo di carte di credito o bancomat che non siano legate a banche portoghesi. Il turista straniero e costretto a pagare in contanti, o spedito dal personale al bancomat più vicino per prelevare.

I'll give three stars because it really is a great place and the staff are really friendly.
However I feel like the bartender inflated my order by a hundred % and ruined everything at the end.

Wenn man in der Tram 28 sitzt, dann wird man automatisch auf das große Fenster aufmerksam mit dem beleuchteten Schriftzug „happy“ an der Wand.
Das Restaurant hat gestern erst ganz frisch eröffnet, aber die Freundlichkeit des gesamten Teams stimmt bereits jetzt und das Essen ist auch sehr lecker! Ich hatte Hummus und eine Salmon Bowl, diese hat einen koreanischen Touch, anders als z.B. die English Bowl.
Das Preis-Leistung Verhältnis ist wirklich gut, mein Bowl kostet 9 € und es ist ordentlich frischer Salmon enthalten. Und die Portion macht auch Leute wie mich mit großem Hunger satt.
Also auf jeden Fall einen Besuch wert!!! Wichtig für alle die nicht ohne können, Wifi gibt es auch.
