Awesome interior with a good and charming service BUT if you walk up the street for 100m to the „Antiga Wine Bar“ you will find exactly the same menu (in a different setting) which destroys the illusion of this unique place at all.

I was there yesterday evening but I’m my opinion it’s too expensive and not worth it. 15 euro for a small plate of ham, 8 euros for goat cheese with two cherry tomatoes and slices of cucumber, then bread and a glass of reserve touriga (7 euros). Total: 30,50 euros. Plus: they didn’t accept credit card, which really annoyed me and this is not acceptable in 2019, most of all in a tourist place.

Great place for a small bite, and try some wine or port. Found a couple, that I had to get a bottle to bring back home! And the chorizo was stupendous. Was great for just one as was on my own this trip, but works for a small group as well.

Um espaço única e exclusivamente para turistas onde uma mini tábua de queijo e enchidos (que não inclui presunto) custa cerca de 15 a 18 euros. 2 grupos de turistas entraram e por não terem tido qualquer recepção por parte das empregadas de mesa, foram se embora. Sugiro que vão ter com as pessoas mal entrem e assim garantem uma sala composta todos os dias.

Situated on a corner it’s easy to find. Once you step in you are presented with an impressive array of wines positioned on a brick wall display. Closer look to them and you see the dust on some bottles along with prices to buy any you wish. Very intriguing to look at and take in and this is just before you even sit down
Staff are very friendly and very knowledgeable. You can even try the wines before picking your selection. Nice selections of cheeses and meats to go along your wine choice.
Strongly recommend visiting here especially as an aperitif before dinner.

Siamo venuti a bere una cosa dopo cena, dei piatti non so nulla. Ci hanno aiutato a scegliere il porto di nosteo gusto, il locale è carino e caloroso con luce soffusa. Dopo tanti locali per turisti è stata una bella sorpresa.

Рюмка - 8 евро. Ходили два раза в течении трёх дней, проведенных в Лиссабоне. Оба раза на сытый после обеда в другом месте желудок.

Fantastic little wine bar with great range of wines and other drinks as well as food, although we didn't eat. The waiter gave us a wonderful explanation of Port and wines and which ones to have that suited our tastes. He let us try before we committed too which was great as we weren't sure which ones to choose. He was friendly, professional, spoke great English and made us feel valued and welcome. The atmosphere and ambience was also wonderful. Definitely recommend!

Very expensive. Nice decor. We got the meat and cheese sharing platter which only had 2 different types of meat and cheese and didn't come with any bread. Charged extra for bread and even charged extra for some olive oil! Nice wine.

Leider gibt es hier nicht die beste Auswahl an Portwein. Die Weine die zum probieren angeboten werden, sind nicht unbedingt die Besten. Die Bedienung ist nur bedingt freundlich und möchte einem das Getränk Portwein nicht wirklich erklären. Schade hier könnte man viel mehr draus machen.

Shared two glasses of wine here. They have both port and other regional wines. The two young women explained the wines to us, and were friendly enough! The music was a nice addition to the atmosphere. The bathroom on the other hand, at least when we went, was a bit cramped and overrun with gnats. The wine was tasty though! Cash only!

Ontzettend leuke tent! Gezellig om te zitten en fijne bediening. Zowel de port als de wijn was heerlijk. Ook hele lekkere olijven gegeten, en ze hebben nog meer hapjes. Leuke ober met veel kennis. Enkel geen vijfde ster omdat ze wat stijf waren qua proeven, terwijl ze niet heel veel keus hebben. Dus dat zou het net beter maken!

This was a great bar to sample many types of port wine. We decided to first sample the cheaper port, we loved it so much we ordered a second sample.
We also enjoyed their cheese plate.
It was very well decorated and the service was very good.

Wonderful little bar, with an excellent choice of wines and ports. Even when choosing "white port", I was still given further options for sweet or dry. Some may say the price per "shot" is a bit much, but it's a very generous shot and it's better to try before buying a larger bottle and ending up not liking it. The tapas on offer seemed expensive, but we didn't try it so I can't comment on the quality. The waitress seemed to know about the bottles and we got to sample some before she poured the rest of the glass. Will definitely visit again and try some more of their menu next time

L'endroit de loin à l'air accueillant et bon mais obligation de payer en cash et une serveuse blonde qui parle sur un ton odieux si vous avez le malheur de lui demander de repeter 2 fois ce qu'elle dit ! Je déconseille fortement pour les nerfs. Porthologia à 100m est 1000 fois mieux si l'on souhaite vraiment découvrir le porto.

Een hele leuke plek om even goed Port te proeven. De winkel is leuk ingericht en het personeel is erg vriendelijk. Wij hebben gekozen om ons eens te verwennen met de 40 jaar oude port, dit was het geld ook meer dan waard! Kortom, een leuke tent om even een borrel te doen!

Accueil souriant serveuse très gentil choix de vin et porto ( au verres et sélection de bouteilles )très bien ,planche de fromages et charcuteries très copieuses pour des tarifs très raisonnable pour un centre ville

The most beautiful port wine tavern in Portugal. They have bottles on the ceiling, in tablets, small wood barrels for seats. Good service and knowledgeable staff.

Excellent bar à vin qui propose notamment d'excellents Porto (du basique jusqu'à celui de 40 ans d'âge) même pour quelqu'un comme moi qui n'aime pas tellement ça ! Le vin rouge est également très bon et la nourriture proposée est conviviale et donc tout à fait appropriée pour ce type de restaurant. De belles planches de charcuteries et de fromages avec des produits de très bonne qualité et surtoutsur la première, la présence d'un chorizo flambé à la commande. C'était dur de l'attendre avec l'odeur que ça dégageait !

Echt süßes Weinlokal mit ein paar leckeren Spezialitäten zum Essen. Trinken steht hier aber im Vordergrund.

Lugar extremamente agradável, com música calma, ótimos vinhos e queijos. O atendente é muito simpático e gosta de explicar sobre os queijos e vinhos, então aproveite as lições!

Caro y mal. Bar acogedor y bien decorado. Tabla mixta de quesos 18 € + 2 € por el pan. Desgraciadamente no estuvo bien, un precio caro, alguno de los quesos estaba seco de estar abierto desde tiempo y el servicio malo, la que parecía la hija del dueño tardó una eternidad en preparar la tabla porque se entretenía en jugar con un niño mientras esperábamos, los camareros bromeaban, se reinan y hablaban altísimo entre ellos, si a eso le sumas que cada cerveza costaba 2'50 €.... Para no volver.
