Best surf school in Costa da Caparica. Top grade equipment and fantastic coaches. We had a lot of fun there. They have groups for beginners and intermediate level, so if you just wanna have a surf experience or are really serious about surfing, that's the place to go.

Organizei um evento de grupo e a equipa da SurfPRO foi disponível, acolhedora, responsavel, divertida.
Adequaram o material necessário a todas as pessoas e explicaram todas as regras de segurança, no mar estiveram sempre perto de nós e deram nos várias dicas para que todos conseguíssemos apanhar ondas, no final gerou se um clima de diversão e realização pessoal e tudo porque a equipa da SurfPRO foi incansável em cuidar de nós.
Eu passado 1 ano faço treinos 2 vezes por semana com eles porque para além de experiência tem uma cultura de comunicação e desenvolvimento que admiro muito, se querem realmente aprender tudo sobre como ser um bom surfista é aqui

Encontrei a Surfprosurfschool num dia em que fui á praia da Mata na Costa da Caparica. Num primeiro contato para marcar uma aula de experimentação eles foram impecáveis. Experimentei uma aula e fiquei fã! Hoje sou aluna assídua e fã da escola e dos treinadores. O profissionalismo, o cuidado, o genuíno interesse pela pessoa , pela nossa aprendizagem assim como pela nossa evolução são a base e valores sempre presentes em todas as aulas! Melhor descoberta que fiz!!

It was really good! I had a private surf lesson and it went really well actually, I surfed 4 times before, and this one was the best for sure! Thank you guys! I highly recommend this surfschool! In caparica , really near from Lisbon!

Great experience, was a bit windy but the coach anda the boss made everything só we could have fun, went to another place where the conditions were better, and the lesson it self, was great

Spent 3 days with the guys from Surf Pro (beginners level). Very good explanation/advice before going in and when we were in the water. Lots of attention for the students from the teachers. Safety and having fun is their key focus. Absolutely great experience, thanks to Rui, Darius and Villanova (thanks from bringing the Brazilian flavor to the class!). Great pickup service too. Hope to see you again!

Rui, Villanova (Aquaman) and team are knowledgeable and fun instructors! They quickly pointed out areas for improvement which allowed me to catch tons of waves big and small! Great value and got some cool snapshots of us surfing as souvenirs ☺️. Would highly recommend and I plan to come back again !

They deserve to be the best rated school in the Costa da Caparica. They focus on every important aspect for beginners, leash, safety, wetsuit, takeoff, etc.
More than surfing, it is an experience. Rui is very connected to the elements, nature and he passes this message with a lot of passion. Vilanova, Hugo (ex-instructor) and Guilherme are patient and really good on what they do as surf instructors. For a first experience or a continuous learning (my case) Surf Pro is the best school I have ever been (and I have been to multiple in different parts of Portugal).

Fiz a minha primeira aula de surf nesta escola e passei uma manhã excelente! O treinador Vila Nova tem um sentido de humor incrível, o que tornou a explicação da aula muito divertida. Na água estive com o treinador Rui, que teve muita paciência com o meu cansaço, e me aconselhou e motivou imenso. Tenho também a acrecentar que os fatos são de muito boa qualidade! Rui en zijn team zijn fantastische instructeurs. Ze geven hun filosofie over surfen weer en doen de zaken kalm aan. Het was voor ons echt genieten van de volledige ervaring. Iedereen van de groep was in staat om recht te staan op hun surfplank en een golf te nemen. Maar veel belangrijker, iedereen had een grote glimlach op hun gezicht toen ze uit het water kwamen! Topervaring, aanrader!

I came in my first time surfing ever and one of the teachers promised me I would catch at least 3 waves that day. I felt very confident because of the power of the treinadores. I catch lots of waves and next year I’ll repeat the experience!! Thank you so much. Very good school with very goos people

Very nice approach to surfing because there is no rush and you get time to dress, surf and enjoy the experience. Was not my first course and I learned a lot of new things that I didn’t learn in the other course.

Had so much fun taking the surfing lesson there. The coach was really patient and professional. He paid attention to students and pointed out where we could do or adjust to better off.

Desde dos 12 que faço surf na Costa da Caparica em diferentes escolas, mas sempre com grandes interrupções, o que levou a que me esquece-se de pequenos pormenores que fazem a diferença!
Em maio decidi voltar e vim parar à Surf Pro.
Tenho adorado a experiência e admito que são das melhores aulas de surf que já tive!
Existe o equilíbrio de diversão com profissionalismo, ou seja, divertimos-nos imenso mas também aprendemos muito!
Existem diferentes terapias. A minha é o Surf! Obrigada à escola Surf Pro!
Since 12 years old I've been surfing in Costa da Caparica in different surf schools, but always with big interruptions, which led me to forget the little details that make the difference! In May I decided to go back and came to Surf Pro. I have loved the experience and admit that they give the best surf lessons I have ever had! There is a balance of fun with professionalism, we had a lot of fun but we also learned a lot! There are different therapies. Mine is surf! Thank you to Surf Pro school!

War eine tolle Erfahrung! Die Surflehrer nehmen sich für jeden Zeit und erklären alles Schritt für Schritt. Auch nach einem kurzen Gang ins Wasser hat er noch mal jedem gesagt, auf was er achten muss um besser zu werden. Er legt besonders großen Wert auf Sicherheit, damit sich niemand selbst oder jemand anders verletzen kann. Trotz des Wetters würd ich's gleich nochmal machen :) danke!

I arrived with my 3 daughters, 13,16,17 and they all remembered it as one of the best experiences in Lisbon. I also liked that Rui does not compromise about safety.

Best surfschool in Costa da Caparica! I went there yesterday and it was absolutely amazing! The surf lesson was so good!!! It’s very close to Lisbon and the waves are amazing! I will repeat tomorrow, and maybe do some surfboard rental too!

They are very responsive and kinde. I was not the first time surfing... so they saw what I need to corect. We also had a great time as a group. After class they tell you what did you do right and what you have to have in minde for the next time. it is super fun and I recomend it

Excellent teacher and a great experience! Rui picked us up from the centre of Lisbon and drove us to a beach which was suitable for beginner lessons. He then went through all of the safety instructions and demonstrated how to get up on the board, so by the time we reached the water, we felt comfortable and confident. We had so much fun that we went back for a second time!

Rui is a fantastic teacher! We came twice, once doing a shared lesson and then a private one, each lasting 2 hours. We came as complete novices, but were able to surf by the end of the first lesson!
He likes to keep classes small so you get a lot of tutoring time, plus he has a van which he can transfer you to and from Lisbon.
Wholeheartedly recommended - my favourite part of our holiday!

Rui and his son were absolutely terrific in every way- knowledgeable and passionate surfers, inspiring with their instruction, and generous with their Portuguese hospitality. I appreciate that they were very focused on safety in the water, as the tide was very strong and they were taking the proper precautions to make sure we didn’t go too far into the rocky areas and kept hold of our boards. Their 4-step push-up method was different from what I had been taught, but very effective; 3 beginners were pushing up almost immediately. The warm-up and cool-down stretches that Rui and his son incorporated into the day were fun too. Their instruction style and vibe just created a very warm, friendly atmosphere amongst the members of our group- but also one of productivity. Everyone was encouraging to one another as we each worked on our technique and strived to improve throughout the afternoon. Rui and his son also picked us up in Lisbon and provided excellent, prompt transportation to the beach and back- and pointed out some beautiful Lisbon viewpoints on the way, made restaurant/Fado recommendations, and gave a bit of city history. Hands-down an amazing experience; you will not be disappointed!

More than just a surf school! Here they teach you everything you need to know how to surf and how to have fun, both as a beginner and at an advanced level! I had a fantastic experience with excellent and super friendly teachers, who taught me all the essentials. In the third class I already caught waves in the green! The school material was always impeccable and at our disposal! One of the best experiences I have had and that I will repeat whenever I come to Lisbon. Very good, I recommend it to everyone!
