We rented two bikes for delivery in Faro and collection in Lisbon a week later. The service provided by João was nothing short of excellent. The communication prior to the trip was very responsive and the bikes were just perfect for the Eurovelo 1 cycle. If you need bikes for the Algarve then I doubt you could find a better service.

We rented touring bikes to go down the west coast of the Alentejo. They were super easy and flexible to work with and the bikes were in great shape. The owner also had some great tips for small side trips we wouldn’t have otherwise seen. I would highly reccomend for your next Portuguese biking adventure.

Wir haben im April 2019 zwei Pinarello Rennräder in Cascais bei Funbike ausgeliehen. Die Rennräder waren wie neu und sind super gefahren. João hat die Rennräder sogar nach Cascais gebracht, unsere mitgebrachten Pedalen montiert und am Ende wieder abgeholt. Alles hat super geklappt! Sehr freundlich und kompetent! Jederzeit gerne wieder!

Haben uns im April 2019 zwei MTB ausgeliehen. Die Räder waren in sehr gutem Zustand, fast wie neu und der Preis (35,00 pro Tag, pro Rad) war mehr als fair. Der Shop ist mit Bus oder Uber leicht zu erreichen. Gerne wieder!

Great shop, wonderful service and a cool Pinarello road bike, made for a great few hours enjoying beautiful scenery. The shop manager downloaded a 38 mile route to my Wahoo. He also offered to lend a GPS if needed to ride the route. From the shop the ride goes to the coast, then over the Sintra hills to complete the loop with 2700+ feet of climbing.

Terrific place to rent a road bike in Sintra. João answered all my questions in advance and was very responsive and helpful. The team brought a high quality Pinarello with a GPS unit right to my hotel in the morning and picked it up in the early evening. The process was seamless and made for a really fun day of riding in Sintra/Cascais. Highly recommend.

We came here to rent a road bike for the day. Our brand new Pinarello's were set up super fast, there was a shower and changing room for us to use and the FUNBIKE guys were very friendly. Great service!!! Simply the best! I highly recommend this shop. I turned to them with a complicated repair task for my TRI bike just before Ironman 70.3 in Cascais and they managed the work perfectly. Such service i have not receiver anywhere else. They really went an extra mile! They do their work with passion.

Very friendly and helpful bike shop. Not only the bikes for sale are some precious piece of frameworking, also the rental bike strike through proper maintainance, high quality compoments and a basic set of tools to keep you on the saddle. The bikes come at a reasonable price for the quality you get. Sure you can rent rusted 2-speed bikes with half inflated tires for way less near the beach, but for safety and comfort reasons i’d love to come back and try one of the roadbikes for rent. The shop’s location might seem a bit off, but it is actually a good spot to start the mountain-tour de force up to the sintra castle, a trip to the beach and back or round the national park of sintra-cascais. If non of the above interrests you, you‘ll be given plenty of hints and tips on where to find the bike trail that matches your style. Moito obrigado! I hope to come back one day.

An excellent experience. Top flight bikes and great personal service. João rented road bikes with panniers for a six day ride from Lisbon to Vilamoura and provided a ride back. The bikes were excellent and João made sure the trip went well, a perfect service all around!

I rented a carbon fibre trek road bike for 3 days. The service was awesome, I requested the bike late afternoon, the guys were responsive over email / telephone and the next morning at 8:45am sharp the bicycle was delivered. The bike was in perfect condition and rode like a dream! I highly recommend this company!

We made a biketrip from Cascais to Faro with rented bicycles from Funbikes. Funbikes delivered the bicycles to Cascais. We gave them back at the Funbikeshop Algarve. They brought us to Faro-airport. Perfect.

We had great bikes and wonderful service from Joao. The bikes provided were perfect for our self-esteem supported ride as we did the Atlantic Coast Route from Porto to Sintra. Shocks and knobby tires were definitely needed for every type of route condition from rocks, sand and cobblestones to paved roads and bike paths. Funbike knew what we needed much better than we would have. They were also very responsive to our emails and phone calls. I highly recommend them.
