Rented a 6’4” pyzel ghost for a weekend and it was awesome. Gear is in great shape, waves were super fun, and Marcos and team were awesome. Even texted me every day on WhatsApp to tell me what places would be firing with the swell and tides. If your planning on surfing anywhere near Lisbon, hit up Marcos! Can not recommend enough.

Marcos and his crew are on point. The boards, suits, and other equipment are top shelf, and the service is excellent and super friendly. Marcos delivered a board to me at my airbnb in Ericeira. When I was done with it a few days later, I dropped it off at one of the local surf shops in Ericeira. Seamless experience. Highly recommend.

Everything went as planned. Contacted them over the phone. Replies were cordial and professional. Surf equipment was brand new and in perfect condition. Price is as advertised and no hidden fees. The people at the beach were super courteous. Will come back and I highly recommend them. Leave your board at home. Try them all. Enioy rhe waves.

I decided not to bring a board to Portugal as the fees are so high (Royal Air Moroc) and anyone who surfs knows this is always a toss up when traveling. You can’t be sure you’ll find a good price/board to rent. Luckily I found Marcos and his amazing selection of high performance rentals. He even delivered the board to me at Lisbon airport upon my arrival and sent me periodical texts about the wave forecast. This guy goes way above and beyond to make sure you have the best experience. I highly recommend this rental company.

Huge range of high performance boards. Marcelos is an absolute legend. Super flexible with board drop off and very helpful in pointing out the best places to surf. Highly recommend. Don’t bother with Awayco or any other board rentals in the area.

Marcos and the guys over at Portugal Surf Rentals were extremely helpful, super super nice, and very accommodating throughout my stay in Portugal this fall. They hooked me up with a brand new board for the week (which was perfect for the conditions) and advised me on some of the best spots to surf around the area. Needless to say, we scored big time. Would highly recommend these guys if you’re in the area looking to score.

Can’t recommend this place enough. I came into Lisbon with no idea of the spots and as the swell was maxing Marcos got me in the right place.
Apart from the awesome service the wetsuit I got was brand new. Tag still on. Bird was unwaxed and the fins in perfect condition. Couldn’t really ask for more. Would give 6 stars if I could. Cheers

Everything related to our rental experience was great! Marcos met us at the airport with the boards and wetsuits. Throughout our trip he updated us on the best conditions and where to surf. His selection of high performance boards was amazing too. That's usually one of the biggest pains when traveling to surf but Marcos helped make it the easiest part. Can't recommend this place enough!!

Marcos and his crew are top notch! They have a vast selection of new model boards from just about every major board company and supplied good fcs2 performance fins in different sizes! Marcos will treat you like a friend back home. He text me every morning to let me know where the best conditions would be.
If you are a beginner or have never surfed I would highly recommend using them for lessons! They will keep you safe and most important they will make sure you have fun!

These guys are the real deal. If you are a surfer visiting the area, rent your gear here. They have brand new, top-of-the-line equipment, and are incredibly friendly.

I strongly recommend not going here.
- expensive
- poor equipment (wetsuit fell apart)
- extremely unfriendly staff that mainly wants to make money with you --> no service at all

Best and easiest board rental company Ive dealt with. Great selection of boards, not just your standard soft tops but a nice selection of high performance boards that would work for a variety of surfers .
I rented a pyzel phantom and a wetsuit .I received everything I needed in order to surf for a couple of days around eroceira. Board and wetsuit were in great shape and waves we're amazing.
Setting up pickup and payment was easy as well. I will definitely use Marcos when I'm back in the area, and highly recommend his service .

Rented a surfboard and wetsuit while on vacation in Cascais. The price was fair and the board/suit were top quality like others have mentioned. Marcos was a really nice guy and responds to messages quickly. Dropped the board off at my hotel, Highly reccomend!

We wanted to rent 2 boards with 2 suits for 2 days. We received performance boards with high quality suits for a fair price. The guy there was really kind and helpful by giving us cool spots to surf. Will definitely come again.

Amazing service. The board was great and they have a large variety of high performance boards. The staff is extremely helpful and Marcos is top-notch, very friendly and always taking care of all details. If you need a surfboard Portugal Surf Rentals is the real deal.

Awesome staff, material (high end boards) and service! Perfect option if you visit for short surf trip and don't want to pay the 300 eur board fee.
Easy to find right at Carcavelos Beach.

This place is great. Best rental experience I’ve had across multiple countries. Great line up of high performance boards for experienced surfers and plenty of foamies for the first timers. Was going to bring my boards but after reading the other reviews of this place thought I’d save the hassle and glad I did. You can book ahead and they’ll drop it off where your staying. Staff is awesome. Pointed me right to where the best waves were along the coast. Highly recommend.

I contacted the place to rent surfing equipment for my first time ever, and received very quick and detailed info. The equipment was good, and the experience also. When I called back because I had left my passport behind, the owner was very forthcoming and understanding about it. Highly customer oriented!

100% recommend Marco to not only beginners but also experienced surfers who do not want to travel with boards!
I came over to Ericeira from NZ after a stint around Europe. Due to our itinerary I didn’t bring boards and being picky with equipment, was really worried about not getting a decent board for our stay.
Portugal surf rentals is the only rental place I’ve come across anywhere around the world with such a great range of boards. Lost, Pyzel, JS and Channel Islands are all available and are in mint condition. What’s more, Marco rips himself so actually knows what works in the conditions throughout your stay.

Klein aber fein! Die Boards sind 1A, das Team von Marco ist extrem freundlich, hilfsbereit und kümmert sich sofort um alles! Marco ist darüberhinaus ein echter Kenner der portugisischen Küste und Spots. Seine Tips können dir den Tag/Urlaub retten, weil du nicht umsonst durch die Gegend fährst. Muito obrigado!

I sent Marcos a request for a surf board as i was flying out of Prague and by the time i landed in Portugal he had organised to meet me at a gas station with the board. Marcos was super friendly and polite and gave me some local advice how to get to some local areas of surf. Highly recommend..

5 stars for sure. Marcos rented me a new board and new wetsuit at a very fair price. He even dropped off the board at my hotel at the end of the day to help me get in the water for an evening surf after my flight. Hope to see him and rent from him again if I can get back to Lisbon.
