I was in Lisbon for 2 weeks and found Bairro Up studio for a practice session. I liked it so much, I also decided to record. It was a great experience - Miguel is a true professional, easy to work with. The Yamaha grand piano was in perfect condition and Miguel is a master on the recording equipment. I highly recommend the studio for your recording needs.

It was my first time in a studio. I just wanted to record a single song to see what I sounded like in a studio. Miguel was really helpful and gave me some great feedback. The song sounded great with amazing quality. I was really happy! He also showed me some of his other work which was really nice. We had a good chat about music and Lisbon. I definitely recommend you go see him!

Miguel has a keen and unique musical sense. Not only as a composer and arranger, but as a savvy engineer as well. He has the ability to know the best sonic space of where the music should be. I recorded a phenomenal drum session with Miguel at his studio, and also had him mix and master the same tune, once the drums were recorded. Miguel found me a fantastic drummer in Lisbon, and recorded a really great drum session on my Blues/Rock tune. Miguel's mixing and mastering skills are incredible, my tune had electric guitar, acoustic guitar, bass guitar, cajon and drums, as well as quite a few tracks of vocals and background vocals, a fairly complicated mix! I couldn't be more pleased with the final mix and master of my tune that Miguel performed, as well as at a fair price, and I'd recommend Miguel and Bairro Up Studio to any musicians and/or bands who are looking for a great recording and/or a mix/master session.
