Local bastante acolhedor para se passar uns belos momentos a dois ou com amigos ao som de boa música e um ambiente único. O bar está situado em Alcantra, num antigo túnel do séc. XVII, por onde se acedia às cavalariças do Palácio das Necessidades. O Staff é bastante simpático e prestável. A Raquel e Adam tratam-nos de coração aberto. O bar dispõe de uma grande variedade de cervejas artesanais (adorei a nº7). Também dispõem de um menu de sandwichs Gourmet e entradas. Nos dias de concertos, recomendo vivavemente a fazer reserva com antecedência, senão arriscam-se a ficar de pé. É para voltar. Até à próxima :)

Great selection of craft beers. Owner and staff know a lot and help you select. Food is great too. Would come again, if only I lived closer (London). Highly recommend, friendly staff, owners. And hey, the people that come here are pretty awesome too.

Um bar de cerveja num antigo túnel! Tem meses numa pequena esplanada à entrada, ideal para fumadores. Lá dentro ouve-se música ao vivo e a variedade de cerveja artesanal é extensa. Sem dúvida um local que veio aproveitar o que é história lisboeta e veio dar uma nova vida a Alcântara. Há estacionamento nas redondezas.

The stone tunnel makes for a really cool and cozy atmosphere. They have several of their own beers on tap including a few excellent collaborations. Their food menu looked like more than simple bar food.

To be avoided at all cost! So freaking expensive and the beer is aweful. The place is cute, but that's definitely not worth it. I only saw tourists there, probably because the locals know that this place is to be avoided!

Great place. Just went in for a quick drink and something to eat but ended up staying a while. Really friendly staff and customers. A good range of beer brewed on site and good music. If I'm in Lisbon again I'll definitely go back.

A great place to enjoy a drink, especially for those that enjoy craft beer, but there is a range of different beverages. All can be experienced inside an original royal tunnel or just outside in a cosy and secluded area. Worth visiting at any opening time and at the weekend when there is live music.

La meilleure brasserie/bar à bières de Lisbonne avec 12 becs et un large choix de bouteilles... les meilleures: certainement celles de la maison!!! Le tout dans un endroit atypique et authentique...avec des personnes charmantes et passionnées. Le patron est ancien chef de cuisine qui "patisse" à merveille ses brassins.

Was planning on coming here for a few beers, stayed for many more due to friendly staff and great live music provided by a duo playing Americana originals and covers. Off the tourist path but easy enough to get to on the Belem tram. Beers brewed in house and guest taps as well as heaps of bottles to choose from. Well worth visiting!

Wonderful staff and location with good beer and a great atmosphere! We stopped in for some drinks with a stroller, a four year old, and an infant right when they opened and everyone was incredibly welcoming to us! Would absolutely recommend to anyone looking for craft beer in Lisbon.

Completely different to any other bar I came across in Lisbon, lovely beer sitting inside what seems like a tunnel. Helpful, knowledgeable staff who can assist with selecting a beer from a number of their own brews. I loved the Quimera NAFIPA, hoppy and right up my street, not cheap though, you’ll be paying almost double what you would for a local lager but well worth it in my eyes

Excelente cerveja artesanal. Para quem aprecia escuras, Quimera: Northern Brown Ale, Chocolate Porter, Imperial Stout. Ótima comida para acompanhar os pints: chouriço com mostarda e rúcula, queijo de cabra com nozes e compota, tostas com salmão fumado. Também há várias IPA e de outros cervejeiros (Letra, Musa, ...). Ambiente perfeito. Best craft beer in Lisboa!

Excelente local, uma temática maravilhosa, parece uma caverna, músicas sensacionais e atendimento igualmente maravilhoso, gostei muito da casa, os valores são um pouco acima da média dos lugares que já fui em lisboa, mas pela qualidade compensa, minha única crítica é que a cozinha fecha muito cedo, fui em um sábado e no google estava que fechava 1h00 da manhã, porém 23h a cozinha já estava fechada, comemos somente a entrada quando fui pedir um lanche já não deu mais.

Cerveja muito boa e muita variedade. No entanto serviço deixa a desejar. Um bar como este não ter serviço de mesa quando tem a grande extensão e pequeno balcão não faz sentido. Além disso, pedi uma cerveja pequena e deram me uma grande. Só paguei pq ainda por cima me colocaram o meu cartão no tpa por contactless, sem eu dizer que o queira, e quando me dera o cartão e já tinham cobrado é que me disseram que foi o preço da grande. Mais uma vez, se houvesse serviço de mesa isto tinha sido evitado. Para esclarecer, eu pretendo utilizar o contactless e gosto da modalidade. Não gosto é que peguem no cartão e o usem, sem sequer eu saber o valor a pagar.

Lovely little find in the Alcântara area in Lisbon. Really atmospheric pub with its own brewery downstairs. Very friendly bar staff and great music. We were there on a quiet Sunday night but really enjoyed the beers and welcome. Good IPAs from the brewery downstairs. Well worth a visit. Also does light food, Reuben sandwiches etc.

Definitely worth travelling to visit.
Of all the craft beer places I visited in Lisbon this was my favourite. The staff were very welcoming and the beer was fantastic. They had a great selection of sours and Kveik IPAs. We chatted with the owners for most of the evening who made us feel very welcome and the bar had a great atmosphere with a very local crowd.
If you only drink hoppy, pale ales/IPAs then this might only be your 2nd best choice in Lisbon (although they do have some great IPAs) but if you want to experience the best of Lisbon's craft beer scene then you need to visit!

Um lugar incrível! O pessoal é muito atencioso, sempre explicando tudo sobre a cerveja que você escolhe. Além de ótimas cervejas, o cardápio tem lanches muito bons. E de quebra o ambiente é sensacional. Fui apenas uma vez em minha passada por Lisboa, mas se morasse aí, iria semanalmente sem dúvida!

Easily Lisbon’s best and most charming craft bar nested in a Roman era tunnel. Great selection of house brewed beers on tap and bottled. Friendly and knowledgeable owners and staff. Quimera was a really cool place. The beer brewed in house is so tasty, too easy to drink :). The food was also really delicious. Felt very welcomed by staff and the vibe is very cool and relaxed. We went on Sunday and it was a great night, local people playing music. Welcome to join in and sing and play if you like.

Excelente local. O ambiente é muito bonito. Situa-se num antigo túnel secreto por onde fugiu o Rei D. Manuel em 1908. Além disso, é decorado com muito bom gosto preservando a estética underground. Os banheiros situam-se no subsolo e são muito limpos. Possui 12 torneiras além de garrafas, todas portuguesas, na geladeira. Imperdível!

Great spot, great beer, and great people. The reason for the four stars is because they could improve on their food. I understand they have a small kitchen with limitations, but they are in a country with great charcuterie and cheeses, so their meats and cheese spread has a lot of room for improvement. They did, however made a clever choice of buying bread right next door, which is a craft, delicious bread. I totally recommend this place if you’re a beer lover or simply curious.

The live music was not to my taste at all and we were obliged to pay 5 Euros to hear it unless we were prepared to sit outside.

The french tost is ridiculous small and it is €7.5, which is too expensive for the size of it. Suddenly it was announced that we have to pay extra €5 per person just beacuse a band will perform in 10min, and we didn t know that it was band that night by the time we enter the bar, neither an advertisment of it. I think this is just to get more money from people. They should have warned people of the extra money. This is not the way to receive clients.

Singular and unique venue! Centuries old, you actually breathe the aged stones in the tunnel. No other like it in Lisbon. Great craft beer, locally made! Highly recommended!!!

Awesome bar/brew pub! Their coffee stout is delicious! Went on a Sunday and they had a jam session going on, so if you like live local music or like playing music, it's another good reason to check this place out. The owners are really cool too.

So glad I stopped in to Quimera! The owners are wonderful, and have turned this former Palace tunnel into an amazingly cozy craft beer haven.
They are also talented musicians, and I was lucky enough to wander in on a day when they had time to play for awhile.

I don't usually leave reviews but went to this place yesterday and it was the best. A fantastic selection of beers, great history. But most importantly lovely friendly staff and customers. It felt like a local. We left with hugs and great memories.

If you're on a beer tour in Lisbon, this should absolutely be one of your destinations. The owners, Adam and Raquel, are friendly and inviting. Their draft beer selection is balanced between their own microbrews and other craft beer from around Portugal, so you can sample some of the best of the country and also some beers you can't find anywhere else. If you're hungry, Adam makes a great pastrami (and I personally suggest trying the Reuben). Beyond all that, you simply won't find a more incredible environment in a beer pub anywhere else in the world.
