Kind (French) waitress, works very hard. Tapas was good! Prices fair. To bad they serve Foie Gras :( some vegetarian options. Would not recommend for vegans.

Excellent. Accueil sympathique au top. Une gentillesse exceptionnelle. Les formules sont excellentes. Je ne peux que conseiller cet endroit. D'ailleurs nous y retournerons.

Insgesamt hat uns das Restaurant leider nicht überzeugt. Das Essen war unspektakulär - Satt waren wir aber Genuss ist anders. Dauernd piepte die Mikrowelle, in der das Essen anscheinend warm gemacht wird. Der Service war dagegen ausgezeichnet und sehr freundlich. Unsere Flasche Wein sehr gut.

Au vue des commentaires très positifs, nous avons été déçus. La déco est sympa et la serveuse (qui parle français) charmante. Ce n'est pas de la cuisine mais de l'assemblage assez basique. Le tout est gras et l'addition trop salée pour manger de la conserve.

Nach dem Studium der Karte hatte ich noch was anderes erwartet. Als das Essen auf dem Tisch stand konnte ich es nicht glauben, aber schaut man sich genauer um in dem Laden, dann hätte man es sich eigentlich denken können. Hier bekommt man Dosenfisch serviert, ohne Witz, freilich ohne Dose, aber ist Thunfisch, Sardinen, Makrelen, so wie man es zuhause auch beim Lidl in der Dose kaufen kann. In Öl, in Tomatensoße usw.

Our favorite meal in Lisbon!
Easily the best food we had during our long weekend in the city. The tapas was amazing, and we ALL (4) agreed the goat cheese with honey and oregano was our favorite. You really must try it! The rest of the food was also delicious, and the service was very good. A charming place that is crowded, with only one table fit for groups bigger that two, so be prepared to wait if you have 3 or more people. But I assure you, it will be worth it.

Fantastic little place in the winding streets of Alfama. Easily the best food I’ve had in Lisbon and great to find such good vegetarian options. Not usually my thing but the chocolate volcano was amazing!

We found this place by accident and the experience was amazing! The wine selection was great, the food incredible and the atmosphere very chilled...so so nice! :)

Petit restaurant proposant des tapas de sardines, morue et maquereau excellents!
Le vin était délicieux
Le service était parfait, ils nous ont conseillé

(Les quantités des peuvent paraître légère pour des gros mangeurs, mais on peut reprendre à la carte )

The best little restaurant in Alfama. The tapas dishes are excellent. Try the baked cod and chickpea or the peas with ham.

Très très bon restaurant. Cadre simple, quelques tables mais alors les plats sont d'un régal !!!. On peut aussi s'exprimer en français. Bref un endroit à ne surtout pas rater si vous allez à Lisbonne .

Heerlijk met zijn tweetjes gegeten, als afsluiter van een mooie tijd in Lissabon. De perfecte afsluiting. Vriendelijk en goed Engels sprekend personeel. Het eten is echt vijf sterren waard.

En location juste à côté du restaurant, nous avions vu qu'il était bien noté. Nous décidons d'y aller (2 ados,2 adultes). Il ne restait qu'une table de 4, ouf! Un menu terrestre pour les adultes (30€ à 2) et 2 tapas pour chaque ado (+1 dessert). Menu : la soupe de fèves était excellente, le chèvre chaud une vraie tuerie, parfait avec la salade de roquette/noix/pomme. Le dessert pao de lo servi avec un Porto était une réussite. Ils parlent français, sont aimables, accueillants. L' addition (avec 1 bouteille de rosé) s'élève à 74,50€ !!! Le meilleur rapport qualité/prix que nous ayons fait sur Lisbonne, avec une TRÈS GRANDE QUALITÉ ! A faire absolument, un superbe moment pour nous....

La comida buenísima, en un sitio muy acogedor. Lo único malo que la camarera no nos ha querido hablar en castellano diciéndonos que habla inglés y francés y que es portuguesa!! Esa es la única pega. Aunque después ha salido un camarero muy amable que si nos ha hablado en castellano!

Excellent food, with focus on quality instead of quantity for a very good price. We paid 17 euro pp including the pretty good wine for soup, tapas and dessert, and a glass of good port.

I didn't get a chance to taste the food. They don't do take away and you can't make any reservation. All of that in rude manners : definitely felt like a bother when I asked a question. I have no problem w/ restaurants not taking any reservation or whatever the hell they want, but please, BE NICE to people, it's part of owning a restaurant.

Heerlijk gegeten, erg tevreden! Super relaxed en je krijgt de tijd om rustig je eten op te eten. De gerechten zijn voor ieder wat wils. Leuk om te delen! Ook de desserts zijn aan te raden. Onze complimenten! Goede prijs-kwaliteitverhouding!!

Budget friendly - If you're looking to fill a hole and you're not looking for quality but good quantity for your euro, this place is it!
Virtually every main dish they have is €4. They also have pictures in their menu to help you point and choose your dish.
Not fancy, ok food for a decent price.

A wonderful surprise during Lisbon holidays while the entire Alfama neighbourhood was partying and barbecuing outdoors, this place felt like an oasis of calm and good taste. Food was amazing, we shared olives, bread and tuna pate, meat plate, tuna with orange sauce and cinnmon and melted goat cheese with honey, port wine selection. Everything was excellent, five stars to the goat cheese with honey and friendly staff. Traditional portuguese food with a gourmet twist, worth a special detour!

Posto carino e accogliente, con 30€ in due mangi a sazietà roba di qualità e buon gusto. Le bevande le paghi a parte, tranne il porto e dolce finale anche loro molto buoni. Una buona via di mezzo tra una cena impegnativa e una casual.

un bel posto caratteriatico dove si affaccia la.zona più antica e particolare della città di Lisbona. piccole vie tutte da camminate fra continue salite e discese. tanti angoli da scoprire compreso il mercatino delle pulci. davvero tutto incantevole ad alfama

Really lovely atmosphere and perfectly hidden spot in Alfama. They also serve many vegetarian tapas which is really hard to find in Lissabon! We will definitely come back one day :-))

With so many questionable places in the area, we’re glad we ended up stopping here. The seafood tapas and the mixed platter we ordered were delicious. We were especially into the chickpea and pepper salad. Simple but so good. Also, the service was excellent. Our waitress spoke English and was very friendly.

What a gem! We spent a lovely evening here with some of the best tapas we've had yet. The atmosphere is laid back and welcoming with friendly and helpful, though unobtrusive service. Great, affordable wine and a lovely dessert to boot. Highly recommend!

We really enjoyed our time in this cozy little restaurant at the heart of Alfama. The wine was exquisite, the service was friendly and the food was tasty and fresh. We tried local specialities, small tapas plates with different dishes (sardines, makrel, cheese and smoked ham), all of them were fine.

Located on a beautiful, narrow street in Alfama. Absolutely loved the wine and tapas we had here, it was so memorable. It was all perfect, but I highly recommend the mackerel!

We had a lovely dinner here. You can select individual dishes or choose from 3 set tapas menus or 3 set meal menus for 2. We chose a meal for 2 which included bread, olives, 4 tapas, green salad, dessert and port. We each added a glass of wine and total bill was 35 euros. The food was fresh and of high quality. The dishes were simple and used traditional ingredients but the suprising flavor combinations made the traditional new and modern. It's a tiny place with few tables so go on the early side.

Great little restaurant, we had dinner here one evening. A good range of food, which centres around canned fish. We had some delicious smoked octopus. Everything is also available to take home with you, should you wish.
We returned here for a port tasting in the afternoon, this is well recommended, as each of the four ports (white, rose, tawny and ruby) was served with a small portion of paired nuts and chocolate to complement each of the ports.
Fantastic place, well worth a stop off if you're in Alfama.

Locale ottimo per un "cicchetto" veloce. Il locale non è dotato di cucina perciò la lavorazione è semplice e tutta a freddo. La qualità è comunque ottima e la varietà di vini è eccellente. Consiglio il menù per due che comprende anche dolce e porto invecchiato sette anni. La cortesia dei gestori rende il tutto ancor più bello.

Siamo stati in questo ristorante a fine Giugno e non posso che confermare le recensioni positive. La coppia che gestisce il locale è veramente molto gentile e lei è una chef bravissima. Sì chef, perchè i piatti erano tutti ben preparati ed ognuno con un sapore ben definito , ottimamente presentati. Ottimo il vino bianco che ci hanno servito e veramente squisiti i dolci tra cui quello tipico portoghese con la cioccolata ma soprattutto la cheescake con il fico.
