Supermarket has what you need. Didn't have Irish newspapers only British ones. Which is strange considering the person who owns most of the area is Irish which means there are a huge number of Irish people in the area as well.

Good selection of imported and quality local produce. Staff speak English and are really helpful. Prices are on the high side, hence only 4 stars.

A lovely little supermarket handily placed for all your bits and pieces while on holiday. High quality produce with fresh fruit and vegetables.

The only reason to go here is because you can’t be bothered to go to one of the bigger supermarkets. Apelonia has same quality but more choice. Lidl has more choice at a lower price. This is the Hombase of supermarkets (if you have an intimate knowledge of UK DIY stores).
That said, if you need something quick, it’s the place for you.

Grande pingo doce com muito estacionamento grátis .
Tam também restaurante pingo doce que normalmente está super cheio , no entanto e rápido .
Tem padaria , talho com carne especial e peixaria , tal como charcutaria. Tem também take away.
Também vendem revistas e tem pequeno espaço de para farmácia .
Tem espaço de jogos para Totoloto e raspadinhas .

Pingo was a really nice little local supermarket to the villa we were staying in, there was a reasonable selection of products and shelves always well stocked. This was somewhat expensive compared to some of the larger supermarkets but convenient for us to get to. The staff were lovely and very friendly and patient even when we were doing a big shop and made sure they opened another till to cover when they were busy. The only downside really was the size of the till area when we were getting a big villa shop but that is more for us personally.

A fantastic little supermarket, with lovely fresh produce at reasonable prices. We only discovered this near the end of our holiday, and we presumed it would be expensive because of it's upmarket location, but it isn't!

Convinient and has most things you could need. The 2 things i would say is the veg is better elsewhere. It doesnt seem to last very long..and the bread isnt as good as other places. But nice cafe and tobaconist also has lottery counter.

I love Pingo Doce. How I describe it is... I go to Pingo Doce for my basics like you would go to Asda or Tescos. Then I pop along to Apolonia for my nice meats and cheeses etc like you would to Waitrose or Whole Foods

Sem dúvida um dos maiores Pingo Doces que já frequentei. Além do espaço do supermercado com uma grande área de produtos frescos, queijos e carnes, tem igualmente uma boa variedade de pequenos electrodomésticos e não só. Adicionalmente ao espaço do supermercado, este supermercado tem uma área da restauração com grande variedade de pratos [normalmente 4 pratos do dia, uma secção de grelhados (peixe e carne) e uma secção de pizzas e massas]. Isto sem falar no take away também muito conveniente.
