Fantastic night . Entertainment was second to none! Food was delicious will definitely visit if I'm ever back there again. Staff were fantastic too.

Popped in to say hello as it's a friend of family having never met before dident won't to leave. Honest to god we did not eat here which we regreted after seeing the food so I couldent comment on the food. But literally one of the most enjoyable and exclusive experiances of the jazz world. Absolutely amazing. Wish there was more places like this in our local area. As I said to my better half if did have food here would have been the best place we have ever had the privilege of eating. Please dont miss AMAZING. THANK YOU TO JOHNNY AND THE STAFF 100 STAR RATING.

Visited in July and had possibly the best night of the holiday. The food is beautiful, the cocktails are fantastic. Johnny and the girls are so welcoming and really look after their guests. Johnny playing the saxophone made the night. Definitely not a place to be missed.

fancied a change from the hustle of the strip , unique venue, great entertainment if you looking for somewhere unique , this is the place, night we came was unusually quiet, only fault is food little pricey for what it is,but entertainment is included, keep posted for show nights.

Lovely night out! Johnny is a great host and excellent saxophonist and Sue's food is so delicious! Wonderful restaurant, staff and entertainment. Glad we got to experience the last night of the season. We'll definitely be back in the summer!

Always a lovely welcome by Johnny and always a pleasure to be back. Sunday lunch on the terrace is forever memorable. Thanks also to Sue who deserves recognition for the hard work she puts into preparation of all the tasty meals. Cheers.

Tuesday and Friday nights live show with Johnny on Sax, music quiz and a dance at the end of the night. Great fun,food and drinks excellent and no entry fee.
Also Sunday lunches on the terrace with invited musicians, chill out Sunday afternoons with a jug of sangria.
Must book in advance for Tues, Fri and Sundays.

If you are going for the live sax and Jazz, you will be disappointed. There are just a few numbers with live sax.
It’s still fun though but it’s not live saxophone or a jazz bar.

What a great night we all had on the 4 th November. Best version of FlipFlop Fly of heard in a long time. Almost dancing on the tables. Going back when they open.

A lovely bar and restaurant with good food & drink. Live acoustic music during the season on Sunday lunchtimes 2pm - 4pm. Evening events during the week including live jazz saxophone from the owner Johnny Hooper.

We had Sunday Dinner
The starter was excellent, I had pate. And my husband had The Mushrooms.
The main course Roast Beef and Yorkshire Pudding although it tasted good, very dissapointing there was just not enough thought we had got children's portion .. Yorkshire Pudding was burnt..2 tiny roast potatoes 10.95 not worth the money..
Desert was delghtful I had banofee. Hubby had cheese cake.. Both lovely..
The service was a little all over the place,.
Johnny was pleasant.. As were the staff.
If they gave better portions could have been one of the nicest places for eating and entertainment..

What a place good food live music music quiz and disco to finish. Staff are so helpful and friendly on the go all the time. Johnny and Sue the owners are making sure everything runs smoothly.

Great place for sunday dinner. If like us when you are on holiday you need your sunday dinner fix then this is the place for you. Friendly staff easy listening music plus live music by the man himself. Great sunday dinner then what more do you need. Enjoy.

Food in this place was excellent especially the black linguine seafood, very reasonably priced and excellent entertainment from the owner his self. Johnny was very welcoming when we turned up and introduced his self to customers at the entrance. Highly recommended.

Comida al estilo inglés, platos escasos y muy caros. 17€ por una jarra de sangria que sabia a veneno y con mas hielo que otra cosa.
Lo unico bueno el ambiente animado con la musica del saxofonista (inglesa, eso si) en directo.
No volveremos !!

We had a great night at Johnny Hooper's Saxophone Bistro. Atmospheric setting. Great food. Fast and friendly service and Johnny entertained us on the saxophone the whole night.
If you want a great night out in Albufeira, this is without a doubt the best place to head to....
Hidden away off the strip, you'll have to go out of your way to find it but well worth the 5 minute walk to find this gem.
