You are required to put a large deposit that if will be only used if you damage the car.
Ignore the reviews of people moaning about the deposit because it is clearly shown on their terms and conditions

Classifico com 1 estrela porque nao posso dar menos. Tenham atenção à franquia de cartao de crédito que tem valor absurdo para fazerem pagar seguro no momento de lavantamento. O limite dos cartoes de credito é em regra muito inferior. Staff pouco atencioso, pessimos skills de atendimento ao cliente. Valor low cost enganador, pois tudo vai ser cobrado extra (autoestradas p.ex.). Localização de recolha do carro não foi claramente explicada. Fazem recolha das pessoas no aeroporto para levar depois para outro sítio sem que este processo seja explicado previamente. Não recomendo nada neste serviço. Falta de simpatia e honestidade no processo estabelecido pela empresa.

Do not touch this company. I have been to Faro many times and always had a good experience with recognisable brands like herts and enterprise etc. I booked this company through a broker site and booked a Fiat 500L at what would have been a very reasonable price, for me and my family as we had a lot of suitcases and three of us to fit in. When i arrived I was told that the website had made a mistake and I was in fact getting a Toyota iygo a 4 seater car with practically no boot. They then added a €35 charge for out of office so I ended up paying more than what I would have done for a Fiat 500L at a reputable car rental company. Even though I had booking confirmation stating I was getting a Fiat 500L I was told that I would have to pay an upgrade fee of €70+ euros to get it. They suck you in with very cheap prices for big cars and then when you turn up they give you a small car to force you to pay more to upgrade a bigger one, they trap you and know you are stuck in a foreign country with no other option. They are took a traced copy of my credit card when freezing €1200 euros which is standard practice, however they then went on to make a note of my security details off the back. I didn’t think much of this at the time but when I checked my bank statement i noticed they had taken £10 out of my account. They also did this to a friend of mine who booked the car at the same point. They are criminal con men stay away at all costs and stick to the car rental companies you recognise!!!!

Surtout ne pas louer chez ces voleurs, c'est tentant quand on regard sur internet et leur prix très bas mais attention la facture risque d'être salée. En effet un mois après avoir rendu le véhicule, je constate un prélèvement de 180€ sur mon compte bancaire sans aucune facture ni justificatif, il s'agirait de la facture de péage, péage que j'ai du utiliser une dixaine de fois et pour un montant total d'environ max 20€. Mais pour eux ça correspond à 180€ la blague. Ils vous proposent bien de payer le péage à l'avance mais ne s'y attarde pas (dans une langue qu'ils ne maîtrisent pas et moi non plus d'ailleurs donc c'est bien difficile de comprendre), et puis je me suis jamais dit que j'allais finir par payer le péage fois dix presque. Et puis à l'agence en arrivant ils refusent les cartes de débit, vous propose des solutions payante enfin tout est fait pour augmenter le prix. A fuir et en vitesse !!!

Wir haben von Surprise bereits das zweite Mal einen Mietwagen gebucht. Einmal in Lissabon und dann in Faro. Es hat alles immer hervorragend geklappt. Wir wurden vom Flughafen mit einem Shuttlebus abgeholt (ca. 15 Minuten Fahrt) und erhielten dann recht zügig unseren Mietwagen, die teilweise einige Dellen und Kratzer hatten, jedoch immer voll funktionstüchtig waren. Wir würden auch ein drittes Mal bei Surprise einen Mietwagen buchen. Die Preise sind meistens top!

!!Vorsicht Betrug!! Dont book here!! Von der Kreditkarte werden im nachhinein nicht erklärliche Beträge abgebucht
Ich möchte Kunden warnen bei diesem Anbieter zu buchen. Ich wollte auch nicht auf die Bewertungen hören und habe bei Check24 gebucht im glauben mit einer Vollkaskoversicherung würde alles gut gehen.
Vor Ort kein gutes Fahrzeug bekommen.. aber ok. Lange Wartezeit.. ok.
Fahrzeug zurückgegeben. Zettel von beiden Seiten Unterschrieben, dass es keinen Schaden gab. Es es gab wirklich keinen Schaden.
Einen Monat später gibt es auf einmal ungewöhnliche Transaktionen über meine Kreditkarte, die ich damals bei der Firma hinterlegen musste. Rechnungen oder Erklärungen warum Geld abgebucht wird gibt es keine.
Andere sollen nicht den gleichen Fehler begehen. Lieber ein zwei Euro mehr ausgeben und es bleibt einem der Ärger erspart.
Sie haben mir geschrieben, es wurden mir scheinbar 25€ für das Aussaugen von Sand im Fußraum in Rechnung gestellt. Eine Frechheit in Anbetracht, dass man am Meer ist, ich den Wagen zuvor noch durch die Waschanlage gefahren habe und noch einen Tag früher zurück gebracht habe. Und dieser Tag auch noch mitgezahlt wurde.
Ich empfehle diesen Autoanbieter nicht weiter.
@Surprice Danke für eure Antwort aber wir haben jetzt schon einigen Mail Kontakt gehabt und es wird auf stur geschalten. Check24 war so freundlich und hat mir das Geld was ihr mir abgebucht habt zum teil zurück erstattet. Danke Check24

Personnel pas accueillant, une fois la porte passée on a plus envie de faire demi-tour que de louer le véhicule. A la base, il est notifié sur le site que la location se fait sur le parking P4 de l'aéroport alors qu'en fait, l'agence se trouve à 6 kms de l'aéroport, une navette prend en charge le déplacement. L'hôtesse d'accueil m'annonce que je dois payer 35€ en plus car je ramène le véhicule en dehors des heures d'ouverture, ce que je peux comprendre, mais pas indiqué lors de la réservation. A l'issue de la signature des contrats, l'hotesse dépose les clés du véhicule sur le comptoir, sans faire le tour du véhicule, en gros débrouillez-vous, de ce fait j'ai fait moi-même l'État des lieux et heureusement car je me suis aperçu qu'il y avait des rayures importantes à l'avant et à l'arrière du véhicule. Je suis retourné voir l'hôtesse qui s'est déplacée sans dissimuler son mécontentement. On peut donc penser que ce tout ça est fait sciemment pour vous imputer les dommages au retour. Les prix à la base sont très attractifs pour attirer le client, mais attention aux surprises, à éviter et à fuir.

Most of the employees were extremely unfriendly and unprofessional (except for the shuttlebus driver who actually was very nice), we didn't get the correct car size, had to pay an extra fee of 35 € for returning the car outside the opening hours, the car was dirty when we got it and as we returned it as dirty as we got it, they wanted to charge us for the cleaning. I'd definitely pay the extra money for a better-ranked company the next time!!!

Rented a car for a week and they took an unauthorised debit of £32 from my credit card few weeks afterwards. They never contacted me to tell me why. I believe it was because we declined the Via Verde but they didn't tell us it was in the car and still active. They told us not to use the motorways and we didn't, but we went in the airport car park for 30 minutes which unwittingly triggered the Via Verde box. We declared this when we returned the car and I said I was happy to pay whatever car parking charge we owed. They said there might be a small charge in a week or two when the payment was processed. To charge me £32 was unethical and dishonest.

В общем - хорошее впечатление.
Дали новый автомобиль за 86 евро с полной страховкой на 7 дней.
Автобус доставил из аэропорта и назад вовремя (нужно обратить внимание на время работы офиса, чтобы небыло проблем).
Оформили быстро, рассказали, объяснили и пр.
Минусы:
1) огромный - 1850 евро депозит/блокировка по карточке (вернули без проблем на 4-й день, после того как сдал машину).
2) сотрудник срисовал cvv2 код карточки, рассказывая, что без него не вернут депозит (у меня несколько карточек, я не сильно сопротивлялся).

Watch out ! A insurance for min of 3 days, insane amount of charge on credit card for holding 3500€ for a very standard card ( only visa or mast card).
We booked online, and already have our own car insurance but we couldn’t use it. They don’t accept American Express and the credit card, wont accept debit cards. We had to buy additional insurance for 28€ / day but the minimum is 3 days. On top they charge 1.85€ / day for the toll road sensor.
I would not recommend, they will charge you for whatever they can!

Sur price should be called Surprise !! Firstly Car rental is NOT at the airport had to wait 30 mins in the airport car park , then once there we get told we have to pay 35 euro for the shuttle back to the airport (7min car journey ) upon returning the car as it was 6.30am !!! Definatly wont be using them again and will make sure the next car i hire is situated AT the airport ! I found the whole experience a bit Sur real !!

Everything was great and amazing value. Only lost one star as we waited 40 minutes at the shuttle pick up point so we just got a taxi. The shuttle arrived as we left! Very friendly and personable staff. Car was absolutely fine. Will happily use again!

Jokers, I personally will not use them again. It felt like a good deal when booking but the reality is a lot more expensive, so many T&C’s you’ll need a lawyer to understand.
Also a long walk to get to where the bus collects you, we had to wait 30mins for the bus too.
Best to avoid this place, just by ok one of the more known brands...

Avoid! We have booked the car online for 4 days (total price =24E) and upon arrival they charged us 35E + VAT for out of hours (we sent an email the day we completed the booking to make sure everything was correct and we received no answer). The agent was aware of the situation and says that everybody has the same issue but there was anything we can do. They gave us a car that apparently was an upgrade and when we arrived we gave them a feedback saying the car did not work properly. It was new and we treated it perfectly fine but still they wanted us to charge us for the damage lol. Furthermore, we booked the full insurance online but we had to leave a deposit of 1,800E with them as this was made online so was independent with them. A joke!

AVOID AVOID AVOID! There are plenty of other rental companies to choose from. We were promised both of the cars would be at the airport without having to have a minibus transfer, this didn't happen and we had to wait for 30 Minutes. We were also conned into taking out extra insurance at the desk when we had already taken out the Full Insurance with the Agent! Rude Staff, Very Unhelpful and I would advise against using them.

Very good cars and clear in the insurrance and administration. I have seen other cases of rental companys who didn't live up to expectations.
Today we delivered the cars after two weeks and next year we know where to rent a car again in the algarve.

Shuttle bus arrived within 10 mins. Estate car was really good and definitely met our expectations. The deposit is on the high side, at over 2500 euros. Staff were friendly and attentive which is quite different to our normal experiences. No hard sale to buy any extras either. We were away in our car within 20 mins of arriving in the shuttle bus. Drop off was really swift, hassle free, back on shuttle within minutes and car checked straight away, no queues.. All pretty straight forward

Très mauvaise expérience: au moment de la réservation aucune informations sur la navette nécessaire pour aller à l'agence (non situé à l'aéroport de Faro) et du coût obligatoire pour cette navette 35€.
Refus de ma CB sans prendre la peine d'essayer. J'ai donc louer une voiture à l'aéroport chez ZitAuto en moins de 15min avec la même CB précédemment refusée.
Je négocie aujourd'hui le remboursement qui semblait très simple lorsque que SurPrice m'a expédié de leur agence.
Je ne peux malheureusement pas mettre 0 étoile...

Long waiting time, far from the airport, because it's not in the airport. In general it takes very long time to get a car from them if you fly to Faro. You need to leave the building, go to P1, get on surprice car rentals bus, transfer for 10 min out of the city, get out and wait in line for about 30 min. Then you will talk to one of the staff (very polite young girls) and after another 15 min you will get you rented car. It takes a looooooong time, so don't rent car there if you are just for 2-3 days, otherwise say bye bye to 2-3h of your precious time. Even if it's cheaper than competitors it's not worth it.

Une prise en charge à l'arrivée tres longue. Voyage cahotique - navette tombée en panne....Attribution de la voiture tres rapide et conforme à la réservation mais gros manque d'information sur les assurances
Restitution tres rapide mais un accroc sous le pare choc visible que par la réceptionniste !!!!

Voiture réservé et payé en partie sur un autre site.
A l'agence on nous oblige à payer une nouvelle fois la voiture sinon pas de voiture à nous donner.
Au final la voiture coûte près de 200 euros en plus que la réservation initiale. Soit le double.
A éviter . Une arnaque.

Very bad place. The people there was rude and the service bad. The place is far away form the Airport. We where renting a car for one week. One in our group was there 2 days before us and was going to pick up the car. But he had forgot his driver licence home and was told that he could not pick up the car without it. Since we had already paid for the car he asked them if he could just pick up the car 2 days later when the rest of us where arrive, with his driver licence. 2 days later when we arrived to pick up the car again. We where just told that they cancled our order, 2 hours after he left 2 days ago and had renter out the car to someone else. Then they where just rude too us when we asked why they did not wait 2 days. They just told us since the car was still there 2 hours after the pick up appointment, they decided to treat it like he never came and cancled it. We did not get another car or money back, and just had to leave.

Horrible fait semblant de pas comprendre quand on veut parler français il a fallu attendre 1h avant qu'une personne qui parle très bien français décide de venir nous expliquer que comme notre location etait pour 12h et comme nous sommes arrivé a 14h05 (soit plus de 2h) car notre avion a atteri a 13h25 nous avons attendu la navette a l'aeroport et du attendre car plus de place dans la navette que la personne revienne nous chercher notre soit disant véhicule à été donné à une autre personne..... Ma réservation a été annulée et bien sûr non remboursée......... Personnel non accueillant sa sent le trafic à plein nez. Facile d'embobiner les touristes quand on parle pas un mot portugais

Worst car rental experience ever! Ik maak al 25jaar gebruik van car rentals.. Maar dit heb ik nog nooit meegemaakt..Te beginnen is de oudere dame zeer onbeschoft en onvriendelijk. Er worden kosten aangerekend die nergens op voorhand zijn aangegeven. Ze vragen een aanrekening op de creditcard van 1845€, nog nooit meegemaakt. Meestal is dit een paar honderd €... Doordat ik een paar dingen al betaald had met mijn Mastercard kwam ik 8€ tekort om de auto te kunnen huren. Haar antwoord: it's not my problem, fix it with the bank...helaas was dit niet telefonisch mogelijk... Ik was op vakantie met mijn 4 jarig zoontje die erg moe was. Ik had allesbehalve het gevoel dat de arrogante dame bereidwillig was om me verder te helpen. Ook het bedrag opsplitsen tussen 2 creditkaarten was geen optie... De creditcard van mijn vriendin wou ze niet, omdat ik niet op haar naam had geboekt. Uiteindelijk beslist om een extra verzekering via hun te nemen, dus 136€ extra + nog iets ivm autostrade taks van iets van 1,5€/dag en omdat we buiten de kantooruren terugvlogen kwam er nog een 35€ bovenop. Pure oplichting, schandalig gewoon!!! Een reservering van 1850€ op je kredietkaart zorgt er gewoon voor dat ze heel veel mensen verplichten om de extra verzekering van hun te nemen want dan kost de reservering ineens maar 300€ ??? Begrijpen wie begrijpen kan.... Ik voelde me echt in het zak gezet en de vakantie moest nog beginnen... Ook bij inlevering weer de zeer onvriendelijke dame weer aanwezig en was ze alles behalve hulpvaardig... NOOIT meer. NEVER again!!!

A brilliant survice. We paid 11 euros for 3 days hire, which is unbelievable. The quality of the car was fine, clean and no visible faults.
The service when we got to the airport was great, a shuttle service is provided to the rental place and it takes about 10 minutes. We were seen within a few minutes.
There is no mileage limit of the car, which was an added bonus as we drove from the airport to the hotel and then did some travelling around the local area.

Worst customer service of my life! Do not book with this company. The woman was the rudest woman I've ever had to deal with. They wanted a £2400 deposit although we had already paid and booked online for insurance! Lost our initial deposit of £25 - don't make the same mistake we did!

fraudulent car rental company. Tag team with carjet rental with both passing the buck and responsibility between each other.
we booked a car for collection and pick up from faro airport for collection 9pm each way. once quoted you get a page that asks you to enter payment details and that you'd have a chance to review your booking before payment is complete, click on the review tab and BANG, payment is taken immediately with no free cancellation option, full fees is charged if cancelled. This was the 1st fraudulent sign.
Soon after, you're sent a confirmation from a no reply email with no contact email or telephone number for support.
The confirmation voucher then states car collection is off site the airport with meet up point/shuttle bus quite a distance from the teminal exit with absolutely no sign posting. One of our travel party has limited mobility, and it took us a good 20 minutes. But again no one to contact.
2) I clearly specified collection and pick up was 9pm each way. Surprice as an out of hours fees of £35 effective from 8pm for each drop off making a total £70. this was only made known after the booking.
3) in addition to several other charges like a €2.38 charge per day for toll device that costs €0.35
4) A golding deposit of €1850 is taken which just unnerved me and the Surprice person was very unhelpful, saying its carjet not hem. obviously a tag team as evidence from reviews online. It is wrong and fraudulent to introduce terms and conditins to customers after payment.
5) I cancelled the booking, as I would rather risk the booking fee that my credit card. I felt very uncomfortable as we had kids and were all cold and miserable, yet threatened to leave the property or the police would be called!!! I have video evidence.

Rediculous amounts charged if you check in outside of office hours. We paid more for that than for 7 days of renting a car including all risk insurance. Was not mentioned at all during booking process. Would not recommend.

Accuraat, vriendelijk personeel. Keurig opgepikt met een shuttle busje van Airport naar Faro, bestuurder bekommerde zich om de koffers die bij aankomst gelijk in de huurauto werden geladen door de bestuurder. Binnen 10 minuten waren we onderweg in de wagen die we hadden gehuurd. Terug hetzelfde laken en pak! echt uitstekend geregeld en zeker een aanrader.

Avis mitigé, il faut aller au parking p4 pour retrouver la navette qui vous emmènera au lieu de location à 3 ou 4 km. L'attente pour récupérer une Toyota aygo au lieu du mini ou fiat 500 est longue. Un montant de 1500 de caution vous est demandé sur la cb sans trop d'explication! Et en fin 1 h après nous pouvons partir.
Il nous aura fallut 2 h d'avion pour le déplacement et un bon 2 h pour récupérer la voiture.
Le retour par contre, n'aura demande que 10 mn!

Super quick pick up. Car was decent condition although had a strange smell. Drop of was quick and easy. Transport to and from airport efficient and on time. Would definitely rent again. 4 stars as car had a really odd smell inside.

Du personnel pas très accueillant mais j’ai eu la chance d’avoir une voiture neuve. Et ils ont des pratiques commerciales douteuses comme empreinte CB et absence de facture ou livraison du bon de sortie. Ils on accepté de prolonger d’une journée ma location mais j’ai dû payer 6 fois le prix d’une journée!!

We booked via JetCar and they were extremely good value for money. Despite all the bad reviews we found them to be efficient and great to deal with. The car was a bit tired with a few bumps and bruises but mechanically good. When we collected the car we completed our own inspection and they were happy to amend the paperwork. Overall a good experience.

The worst rental experience I have ever had.We rented a car through internet.Price was suppose to include insurance and possibility to drop off the car in other location.When we arrived to pick up the car, we were suddenly informed by the supplier that we need to pay EUR 2400 deposit or pay insurance 250 EUR, which we already did when renting online.Also it turned out if we want to drop off car in other location we must pay additional 100 EUR.When we decided we want to cancel and finally reached help center of the broker and they refused to cancel reservation because according to their policy we are entitled to do it no less than 24 hours before our trip.So many hidden charges and such a rude attitude from both the broker and supplier.If You ever travel to Portugal never ever do business with Surprice car rentals or rentals24H. The lady at Surprice office was rude and told us our reservation is cancelled, then in next 15 min she changed her mind twice.At one moment we were so tired, we agreed to pay everything just so we can leave, she agreed and made a transaction,but after it was done she realised we are using prepaid card which according to her is not okay, so she cancelled the transaction.We lost around 150 EUR because of the fact they refused to cancel reservation and also we have 250 EUR on hold and we do not know if we will ever get them back!

Vorsicht Betrug!! Dont book!
Lange Wartezeiten bei Abholung. Sehr hohe Kaution für Mittelklasse Fahrzeuge. Zum Fahrzeug wurde nur ein Ersatzschlüssel ausgehändigt.
Positiv der günstige Preis.
Muss meine Bewertung ändern. Es wird Wochen später einfach Geld von der hinterlegten Kreditkarte abgebucht ohne Angaben von Gründen. Bei der Fahrzeugrückgabe wurde noch alles als ok unterschriebenen und dokumentiert und plötzlich heisst es man müsse für das Aussaugen von Sand aus dem Fussraum 25€ berechnen.

Nie wieder! Unfreundlich, dann habe ich ein Schrottauto bekommen, die Tankanzeige ging nicht (die Anzeige wurde trotz volltankens an der Tankstelle nicht als voll angezeigt). Die Klimaanlage ging nicht und dann musste ich noch 1600€ Kaution zahlen für so einen Schrott!
Zudem nehmen sie 40€ an Mautgebühren, auch wenn man denen sagt, man fährt nur 2 Strecken für unter 5€.
Reine Abzocke und Geldmacherei!
❗️Edit: Nun haben sie zwei Monate später auch noch 73€ von meiner Kreditkarte abgebucht!! Ich glaube es alles nicht!

Absolutely awful company.
They do not let you know about the insurance you can take out and try to block £3000 on your card, then when you ask, they make a big fuss about it and only allow you to insure for a minimum of 7 days (even if you only have the car for 3 days). Then they pre-authorised €320 for tolls etc...I returned the car on the 22nd of October and 5 weeks later it is yet to be released, thus I have incurred charges on my credit card. There has been no progress on the many emails sent and calls are not being answered.
Pay the extra and use AVIS or Hertz or just walk!!! But DO NOT waste your time with these people. You end up paying more in the long run!

Shambolic customer services, had to wait 1 hour for the vehicle to arrive. Would never use again, they took £200 from my deposit and when I called to question why they said the computer system was not working. SHOCKING SERVICE FROM SUR PRICE CAR RENTAL.

Sans commentaires ... des coulures de saleté qu’ils souhaitent vous faire payer à prix d’or. Une location pas chère mais tout est fait pour alourdir la facture.
Je conseille également à Transavia de mieux sélectionner ses prestataires

Wir haben ein Auto für unseren Urlaub in Portugal für 14 Tage gemietet. Auch wir dachten die Abholung wäre direkt in Faro am Flughafen, was aber nicht stimmt. Man wir mit dem Shuttle geholt und zur Station gebracht, ca. 10min. Fahrt.
Das Auto war deutlich älter als erwartet und hatte deutliche Gebrauchsspuren, ein Fiat Punto mit gut 80.000km. Das ist nicht toll, hat uns aber auch nicht sonderlich gestört. Ansonsten war alles reibungslos, selbst der nicht 100 % volle Tank am Ende wurde uns nicht zusätzlich berechnet. Die Leute sind freundlich.Auf die Kaution (1800€) muss man vorbereit sein, damit das kein Problem wird.
Was man immer bedenken muss: Wer für ca. 7 Euro am Tag ein Auto mietet, darf a.) keinen Neuwagen erwarten und muss b.) damit rechnen dass die Firma irgendwie (Versicherungen, Kaution etc.) zusätzliches Geld verdienen muss. Anders kann dieses Geschäft gar nicht funktionieren.

Ein chaotischer Verein. Ein einziger Shuttle-Fahrer mit einem 8 Sitzer Van. Zwischen Ankunft bei Sur Price und Ankunft Flughafen verging über eine Stunde. Drei Angestellte langweilen sich am FrontDesk und der Fahrer kommt mit dem Personaltransfer nicht hinterher. Der CheckIn wurde dadurch zum Stress pur. Unser gesamtes Gepäck musste als Handgepäck aufgegeben werden, incl. Verlust aller Gegenstände welche nicht ins Handgepäck dürfen. 2.400€ Kaution für eine Buchung ohne Selbstbeteiligung im Schadensfall sind völlig überzogen. Freundlichkeit wäre mir sogar egal, wenn wenigstens der Mindest-Service funktionieren würde!

Achtung. Unfreundlich und imkompetent. Wir sind morgens um 8 Uhr zur Abgabe des Autors angekommen und haben darum gebeten dass man uns per Shuttle zum Bahnhof fährt. Dieser wurde uns vorher zugesagt als wie das Auto abgeholt haben. Jedoch wusste man zu dem Zeitpunkt als wir den Shuttle benötigt haben nichts mehr von dieser Zusage. Auf die Frage ob man uns freundlicherweise ein taxi rufen kann wurde uns nur eine App genannt über die wir buchen sollen. Für einen kleinen Fiat Panda für 7 € pro Tag ist es notwendig 1700 € Kaution zu bezahlen. NIE WIEDER

Beware! Surprice = Surprise, and not a good one. This was quite a nasty start to our holiday as when we turned up to the office in Faro we were told that there was an out of hours cost of €25 to pay... this was not advertised anywhere and no one had notified us when the booking was placed. Added to this (and despite having paid for insurance already) as I didn’t have enough credit on my card to cover the €2460 excess waiver required by Surprice we were required to pay for ANOTHER insurance policy with Surprice for an extra €80. It was pointed out that despite the booking being in my name it had been paid for on my partners card and he had the necessary limit on his card but this wasn’t allowed as he wasn’t shown as a named driver. When we asked to add him to the policy we were told that he’d have to book a brand new policy there and then and he’d have to do it online as nothing could be done through the office. Staff were rude, argumentative and unhelpful. It didn’t stop there.... when taken to our car, I checked it fully against all listed existing damage to discover the left headlight wasn’t working. One of the staff members came outside and told us it was ‘ok’ as we’d paid for insurance so it wouldn’t be charged to us. Considering it was dark, that wasn’t the issue. He smacked the bonnet a couple of times to start the light again then reluctantly said he’d get another vehicle. The next vehicle, a Nissan Juke was substantially younger than the previous but absolutely stank of stale cigarette smoke. This again was pointed out to the staff member who said ‘don’t worry, you have insurance’. That was hardly the point. The vehicle was returned without issue although a payment had been taken from my card to cover in case of speeding/parking tickets. I was told this would be reimbursed if none came through (which it was within five days) but I’ve now discovered ANOTHER payment has been taken from my card a month later with no explanation whatsoever. This has been a chip and pin purchase which considering I haven’t been back in Portugal OR used this company again seems a little strange? Have you cloned my card Surprice?
I hire vehicles regularly when abroad and would NEVER recommend this company. I have emailed their Customer Care Team but wouldn’t be surprised if I never receive a reply.
Edit - despite adding a comment about requesting a reservation number, as a reviewer you cannot reply directly to their comment so I have edited my original post - the reservation number is CJT-27206147. Just as an FYI Surprice, when you read Google recommendations about dealing with negative reviews, one of the first points is about taking it offline and dealing directly with the customer, that is good customer service. A tip for future comments is it probably isn’t a good idea to reply with a query which the reviewer can’t respond to. It’s almost as if you’re trying to invalidate their negative review or something???

Off the airport Very reasonably priced car rental. We had Fiat pinto for 6days for 25euro.No blue tooth to sync phone for Sat nav .Transfer to and from airport reasonably quick. Full waiver insurance is expensive. Better to buy while booking through 3rd party

Hat alles wunderbar reibungslos geklappt. Preis-Leistungsverhältnis von Anfang bis Mitte Oktober 2018 echt toll! Wir waren zwar überrascht, dass die Autovermietung nicht direkt am Flughafen stattfindet, sondern etwas außerhalb. Aber der Transfer hat super geklappt. Würden dort wieder ein Auto mieten.

It was not clear from the booking that the location was offsite. I had a baby with me so would never knowingly agreed to this.
When we arrived I was advised that I had not paid anything online and that the excess was 2500. I got very upset as I had paid for an excess insurance but this did not actually cover the excess. The whole thing want very clear so I decided not to rent the car and returned to the airport in tears. I am not able to get my money back from enjoy car (for the useless insurance) or £5 that renta car company has.
Very disappointed and would also consider bothe companies as scammers

I do not recommend this car rental. I had to pay 375.15 euros for a small dent to the passengers door which they said might have been done by another car when opening their door. Another dent was on the the same door, which was registered on the sheet and for which I expect they charged the other person a similar value. I do not know if this dent was already in the car as there was significant damage caused to 3 different areas, with paint missing, which were not registered in the sheet I was given initially. The employee did not check the car with me initially and the sheet was incorrect having damage missing which he corrected when I show it to him.
I was charged 2 euros per day for the toll reader, and 23 euros as I collected the car after 8pm. This is an outrageous service.
I have rent many cars and I never had any problem. I do not recommend this company to anyone and will not rent with them again.

We had a great experience by returning the car in Fargo. Nice and friendly staff. The return was fast and easygoing. Also the shuttle service was nice. We would rent a car here again. The only negative thing was a long waiting time and an unorganized pick up in Lisbon, but also very polite staff. Just check your workflows for getting faster :)

ATTENTION des gros escrocs, des arnaqueurs, une entreprise inadmissible surtout ne louez pas chez eux!!! Une honte!! Ils m'ont laisse un goût amer du Portugal.... dans un premier temps réservoir vide de la voiture alors qu'il devait y avoir le plein, voiture avec des rayures mais marqué sur le contrat, mais quand vous rendez la voiture ils vous facture les rayures constatées de départ et vous les font payer!!!!! Une honte !!!! Ils prennent les empreintes carbonne de votre carte, vous font signé des papiers qui ne sont pas dans votre langue, prennent une caution de 1845€, bref expérience très difficile avec un personnel exécrable qui prend les touristes pour des pigeons.

Comme tous les autres commentaires, problème avec la carte de crédit. Du coup, la seule solution est de prendre l'assurance à 150€. Et puis, bizarrement on vous prend 180€ de caution sur votre CB, alors qu'on vous a juste avant vendu une assurance puisqu'on ne peut soit disant pas prendre de caution sur votre CB. En plus de ça, la réceptionniste était hyper désagréable.

Nous avons loué une voiture 7 places pour 7 jours et à notre arrivée nous ne pouvions pas louer sans une carte de crédit. Nous avons donc ajouter 175€ à notre loc auto pour l’assurance complete. + 15€ pour le boitier de telepéage et dans 5 jours nous serons prelevé du dit péage. Je déconseille cette compagnie car vous pouvez louer des auto sans carte de crédit et sans ajout surprise au moment du pickup.

Achtung, Betrüger! Kaution für einen Schrottwagen 2450 €. Dann 18 € Gebühr für Mauterfassungssystem, ohne zu erklären, dass pro Fahrt sehr horrente Kosten hinzukommen. Personal spricht sehr schlecht Englisch! Auto war schmutzig innen. Gebucht war ein anderer Wagen als übergeben! Tankregelung voll/voll wurde einfach durch 3/8 zu 3/8 voll geändert. Zusätzliche Versicherungen wurden uns versucht aufzudrehen. Finger weg von diesem Laden!

Not a car rental company I would trust. We were given a car with less than half a tank and were told that we could deliver it empty.
I made pictures of the tank with a location and timestamp, because I already thought the advice was not legit and wanted something that could back-up my statement upon returning the vehicle.
When we returned the van with (not even empty) a half tank, we suddenly got told we had to return it full!!! We had to pay cash to solve the issue.
Ridiculous and complete liars.
This company should be stripped of its rental license and their vehicles should be auctioned. Terrible, terrible, terrible.
PS. Thereby the below response of the owner is nonsense. It is not even possible to reply on them in Google review. They should check their booking system and call us our send us an e-mail. There is nothing honest and transparent in their business.

This is scam company!! We have been tricked 3 in different ways - we had made an insurance through the booking website and when we got there they asked us for a excess of 2499 euros more; after, to remove the access (on the top of the insurance made online) we have been asked to pay insurance of 20 euros/day for 5 days even if we had only 2 days car rental as it was the ''rule of the house instituted by their manager"; the car we got was dirty in the inside and outside, and it was smelling badly.
Very dodgy business, be careful.

Für unsere Reise mach Portugal, (faro) haben wir einen Mietwagen über check24 gebucht. Eine Nissan juke Klasse. Mit kompletter rundum Versicherung und freien km für 7 Tage für 110 Euro, alles über check24. Abholung laut Check 24 am Terminal im Flughafen faro. Kaution nach check24 war ca. 900 Euro.
Das Ergebnis.
Angekommen am Flughafen faro. Wurden wir an einem kaotischen Sammelpunkt in einen Bus gesetzt und wurden ca. 4 km bis zur eigentlichen Abholstation gefahren.
Dort wartete die eigentliche Überraschung.
Die Kaution vor Ort laut Anbieter surprice war 2.400 Euro, statt wie auf check24 beschrieben ca.900 Euro. Alternative um die hohe Kaution zu umgehen war eine Zusatzvollversicherung für 126 Euro beim surprice und um eine Kaution i.H.v. 300 Euro hinterlegen zu können.
Bei Abholung waren wir nicht alleine. Es gab mehrere Kunden die das gleiche Problem hatten. Einige die mit dem Budget nicht zurecht kamen und anders zum Zielort fahren mussten. Toller Urlaubsanfang.
Portugal war dennoch sehr schön und ist in jedem Fall eine Reise wert. Nicht nur einmal.

I paid for my car and insurance waiver scheme back in the UK and was told that I had to pay nothing more when I pick the car up. Well upon arrival I was told I had to pay €2460 and another €250 in case I get a parking or speeding ticket! Absolute rip off! Because I didn't have €2460 on my credit card I then had to pay €200 as an initial insurance. I spent nearly 2.5 hours trying to sort the hire out. Ringing banks in the UK. The staff were useless and they were about as much use as chocolate tea pot!
I also was supposed to have a full tank of petrol on arrival. How are I was given the car with 15 miles in it.......not particularly helpful at 11pm when you need to the find a petrol station.
Avoid this company like the plague. So in happy and so ripped off and conned

J’ ai loué dans cette agence au mois de Mai pour 14 j et je viens de relouer pour le 23 septembre pour 14 j. Je confirme que cette agence est très honnête et le personnel au comptoir très à l’ écoute. Aucun débit n’a été effectué sur mon compte hormis l’autoroute qui comme prévu dans le contrat est débité après. Il est vrai que l’agence n’est pas a l’aeroport, mais le service de navette est très rapide aussi bien à l’aller qu’au retour. Seul problème constaté : pas de réponse à mes mails pour louer, j’ai dû passer par leur central de réservation. Je conseille cette agence.

We had booked a note and one was there but my wife opted for a seat, it turned out to be a very good choice.
The car was well presented and in very good condition.

Funcionario fantástico no atendimento, porém a cia é mesmo uma surprice, te enfiam taxas de tudo que é lado. Não marque de retirar após as 20h vai pagar 35 euro, a venda do aluguel do via verde é consignada, ou leva ou leva, roubo segundo a lei. Enfim péssima experiência, mas o funcionário excelente.
Desculpe, tudo pode ser feito conforme contrato, se o contrato fosse enviado antes do pagamento, os termos e condições se disponiveis, estao em algum.sitio impossivel de encomtrar com clareza.

Hatte Anfang Januar ein Auto gebucht. Ich war schon vorgewarnt durch die schlechten Bewertungen. Erstaunlicher Weise bekam ich einen Wagen mit erst 4000 Kilometern der erst einem Kratzer hatte. Habe auch viele Bilder geschossen. Bei der Rückgabe lief auch alles ohne Probleme trotz 3000 Euro Kaution. Trotzdem würde ich nächstes mal woanders buchen, man hat immer ein komisches Gefühl.

Nous avons loué deux fois. La première fois ils ne parlaient pas un mot de français. Très pénible pour se faire comprendre mais nous avons fait des efforts des deux côtés. La deuxième fois en français c'était plus facile pour nous. Très bonne location. Les voitures sont propres et récentes.

Company provides attractive rental deals as a way to camouflage it's shady insurance agreements on which the inspection is questionable as no pictures are taken and all you are left is a paper-based report, in case they conclude the car was damaged somehow, they will pull out a price-table with numbers that were not agreed before and charge you. As you can see by the other reviews, there is a history of poor management on their deals which leads to the impression that they actually scamming. I strongly recommend that you avoid having deals with them, as a deal worth of 300€ can easily become €900 based on their own judgment and execution of their "agreements". Watch out, go for a serious company instead, that is what I would do.

Haben im August dort ein Auto gemietet. Am Anfang, wie es Andere auch schon beschrieben haben, stand man etwas verloren auf dem Parkplatz vor dem Flughafen. Niemand war dort um uns in Empfang zu nehmen. Mussten schließlich bei anderen Mietwagenanbietern herausfinden, wo wir abgeholt werden.
Dann bekommt man ein Auto mit dem Titel "fast neu". Das galt aber nur für den Kilometerstand. Überall waren Dellen und Kratzer uns das bei gerade mal 9000km. Auf dem Mietvertrag war aber nur eine der mindestens 10 Dellen vermerkt. Zum Glück haben wir zahlreiche Fotos gemacht, da man uns am Schluss abzocken wollte. Wir hatten es eilig, da unser Flug relativ knapp nach Abgabe des Mietwagens abfliegen sollte. Jedoch wurden wir dann aufgehalten, da wir angeblich einen Schaden am Auto hatten. Natürlich war dieser auf dem Mietvertrag nicht vermerkt. Der unfreundlichste Mitarbeiter des ganzen Ladens (kleiner Tipp: schwarze Rastalocken) wollte schließlich, dass wir mehrere Dellen bezahlen. Zum Glück hatten wir Fotos am Anfang gemacht. Dadurch wurde Mitarbeiter aber nur noch wütender. Letztendlich mussten wir eine kleine Delle für über 400€ bezahlen, die wir gar nicht verursacht hatten. Und das auch nur, weil wir es eilig hatten zum Flughafen zu kommen.

I was a bit disappointed with this car hire firm , firstly when we got to pick up point there were 15 to 20 people waiting to be picked up but there vehicle can only carry 6 people and the car hire office is 10 mins from airport we ended up waiting over thirty minutes to get to office. I booked a vw golf automatic but the gave me a Toyota crh instead and told me it was an upgrade I don't think so , also I paid for full insurance and they still needed €400 security deposit I've rented cars all over the world and never paid security deposit with full insurance before , I paid €152 for insurance for a week which wasn't cheap , but I have to say staff were excellent, helpful & friendly and car was current model and clean , but won't be using surprice again

Arnaque ASSURÉE.
Je connais parfaitement le problème des loueurs ici avec la surprise de la caution dont ils ne veulent pas si vous ne disposez que d'une carte de DÉBIT et non de CRÉDIT J'arrive toujours à obtenir gain de cause et à éviter l'arnaque qui nous oblige à prende l'assurance complémentaire ! ! Ici impossible de négocier Le type était hyper agressif et à refuser tout bonnement de débiter ma carte au prétexte que cette agence paye des frais ultras importants pour me restituer ma. Caution. Résultat j'ai dû payer 137 eur supplémentaires + 400 eur de caution qui me. Seront restitués plus tard.. Bref un prix attractif de 45 EUR qui vous au total bien plus. Une vraie ARANAQUE

Attention, c'est des gens avec peu de scrupule pour les gens qui ne parle pas le langue. Vérifier que vous avez une carte de crédit sinon cela peut vous coûter chère. Ps: les cartes euromaster passes même si c'est marqué débit sur la carte. Bref, à bannir pour des vacances sereines.

Il n'y a pas de suivi des réclamations entre le back office et le comptoir. Dans notre cas nous avons demandé l'annulation d'une prestation et le remboursement de celle-ci quatre jour avant le retour du véhicule et celle-ci devait être remboursée au comptoir le jour du retour. La prise en compte à été confirmée que par téléphone, impossible d'avoir un mail de confirmation malgré notre demande. Le jour du retour l'agent du comptoir n'a pas voulu procédé au remboursement et nous demander de recontacter leur back office.
Malgré nos relances successives et la présentation de tous les justificatifs demandées ces derniers refusent toujours de nous remboursement le montant de la prestation qui a été annulée.
Société de location à éviter à tout prix.
Nous vous invitons à transmettre un signalement auprès de votre plateforme de réservation de voyage (Si vous êtes passé par une de ces nombreuses) afin que cette société soit déréférencer de leur panel de prestataires.

30min pour les papiers de la voiture.. Ne prennent pas le temps de vérifier les rayures sur les voitures ! Pensez à prendre une carte de CRÉDIT. Bien vérifer car les cartes DÉBIT immédiats vous seront facturées 144 € en plus de la caution. En effet ils doivent prendre une caution de 1800€ sauf qu'ils paient 12% de taxes sur les prélèvements. Donc ils prennent une caution de 300€ mais font payer automatiquement 144€. Nous avons du attendre en plus 45min à l'aéroport car les navettes ne peuvent prendre que 6personnes en même temps!

We rented a vehicle for 9 days. Toyota reg 72-UT-48 be warned!!!!! When we handed the vehicle back they claimed we had badly damaged it on the left under the bumper and the woman was so convincing telling us that there was fresh plastic coming off into her hands, also saying that she knew we had done it as she had checked the car over before we had it! We knew it wasn’t us and thankfully we had taken before pictures before we left the premises which meant we had proof it was already there. The woman signed off our paperwork and walked off. Did not even apologise! Was probably gutted they wasn’t making anymore money off us!! Would never use again.

For the price, it wasn't bad. But the customer service of the employees was quite bad, except the shuttle driver who was excellent. Our car's radio didn't work great and required a lot of effort to get it working even normally. The employee didn't seem to care much and just wrote it down as not working so we didn't have to pay for it (which was ok, but renting a car with a broken radio is ridiculous.)

The car itself was good and pickup and drop-off was seemless. I will say that we tried to call them as we wanted to initiate the transponder and I called over 20 times and could not connect or leave a message. I even emailed their customer care letting them know that I was having issues and pleading for help and got a response a day later telling me to call the local branch. Even when I selected the option that I had an accident to try and connect I was never able to. So in summary, as long as all is well you are fine but God help you should you need support.

I advise not to rent from this company
A few weeks ago I already posted this review. Surprice Car Rental has responded to this, but unfortunately no further action has been taken. That's why I advise everyone not to rent a car here. They have low prices but make money with "old damages"!

This while they advertise as a rental company for Faro Airport! Picking up after 8 p.m. is a real problem because they have 1 employee at the office. In my case there was a waiting time for more than an hour and a half. They give me a different car than ordered and the car was parked in a dark corner and the gas tank was not full. The car had to be inspected in the dark, so that a small scratch on the bumper was not noticed. When returning the car a few days later, the employee immediately walked up to the almost invisible scratch on the bumper and said that this would cost € 215,-. There was nothing to argue against this because the damage was not mentioned on the form! The car rental for 5 days actually came to € 300. It's better to rent at a famous brand such as Herts or Europcar, to prevent disappointments afterwards

After just returning home from Faro I felt I had to leave a review to warm people abou this car rental company.
Staff are unbelievably rude, agreessive, unfriendly and sarcastic. They are only there to make more money out of you and must get paid a lot of commission to do so. Firstly when picking car up the man on the desk tried to make us take out extra insurance (we already paid for the best) then as it was dark outside he said to us we wouldnt look around car to check for marks but to do so in the morning. He advised any scratches are ok but if you see any dents to take a picture. The next morning we checked and no dents but plenty of small scathes but thought nothing of it. When returning the car straight away a girl out looked at it for 10 seconds and said there was a scratch and charged us €215.25 for it. It was tiny and clearly already there when we rented car. I asked to speak to the man that was dealt with us when picking up car and when he arrived he denied saying that about the scratches and was unbelievably rude. Worse customer service I have ever received!!!
When reading down these comments you will see this has happened many times.
Pay a little more for a well known company. Will be taking my complaint further

I agree with Jodie below. When I picked the car up I was told to drop the car back where I found it and tall blond haired guy lost the plot because I didn't leave at the front. What is that guys problem? A simple sign at the front with a parking bay for returned cars would help. Customers should also be aware that if the credit card you booked with cannot facilitate a holding amount of €2460 then you will be charged an extra €20 per day. While the pick-up location is not ideal particularly if you are running late, it is what it is and the price was very good.

Must say I was a little scared after I made my reservation with SurPrice and started to read all the comments in here. Cannot comment other people's experience, but mine was absolutely fine and problem free! Made my reservation through a 3rd party website which clearly indicated all the T&C's including how much I would be asked to leave as a deposit and which credit cards does SurPrice accepts (Visa or MasterCard). Whenever I got to the Car Rental Stand I was told no different from what I have contracted and no obstacles were put in place (e.g. additional or hidden fees). Staff was approachable, friendly and genuine and the lady who dealt with my reservation clearly explained to me the pro's and con's about the automatic tool system used in Portugal (quite useful and reasonable priced if you want to use the motorway). MOST IMPORTANT: It might be a little confusing when arriving in FAO. The company does not have any representation inside the airport. So you must walk (2 min.) to P4 Parking where the FREE shuttle will collect you to the Car Rental Office. The P4 is also the place where multiple other companies pick up their customers and there's also a small office located in the park with representatives from these companies that can also help you.

Car rental place with some of the worst staff possible.
While waiting in line we overhead the older woman being quite toxic to some of the customers, and she told them to go tell their mommy about the issues they've had.
Seems it was the same woman as in some of the other reviews, so considering they haven't fired her, customer satisfaction isn't their highest priority.
Plenty of customers also had to bail due to incompatible cards or the 1850€ deposit before getting the car.
The car itself was working fine at least.

Ons advies is als je buiten de openings tijden van dit bedrijf aankomt je opgelicht word. Per 30 min betaal je 35 euro en je word onbeschoft behandeld !!!!
Je kan er als klant niets aan doen dat je te laat komt, dit bedrijf heeft geen locatie op het vliegveld waar je de huurauto kan afhalen en terug brengen. Er staat een klein busje klaar en zoals het hoort gaan kinderen en ouderen voor. We moesten wachten hier door te laat bij de afhaal balie. € 70 euro moesten we gewonnen betalen anders moesten we oprotten. Wij waren met meerdere mensen en iedereen moest bijbetalen. De sfeer was vreselijk vijandelijk en onvriendelijk, dit was een bijzondere start van onze vakantie

Français/française, faites très attention à cette agence. Il faut absolument qu'il soit indiqué sur votre CB "CREDIT". Si jamais vous avez une CB où il est indiqué "DEBIT" ils refusent de vous la prendre. En France, il est indiqué "CRÉDIT" sur les cartes à débit différé ou avec une réserve d'argent (crédit renouvelable). Les autres CB en débit immédiat, il est indiqué "DEBIT". N'hésitez pas aller chez un autre loueur qui acceptera votre CB.

Surprice is good if you want to save money, but it's bad if you value convienece on your holiday. Be prepared to somewhat chaotically shuttle to/from the airport. I was "upgraded" to a less desirable, less fuel efficient vehicle. Also be aware if you drop off before 0800 they will charge you €35. I wouldn't mind the charge that much, but it was almost half of what I payed for the entire rental. Like I said... At least they're cheap.

Absolutely awful experience. I have never encountered such rude and aggressive staff. In fact, I have never felt so obligated to write a review to warn others.
The broker and central office were perfectly helpful but that courtesy ceased at the Faro office. There, these agents of misery did everything in their power to make us suffer. For instance, they tried to charge us hundreds of euros for a scuff that was easily removed.
Perhaps their salary is structured around customer dissatisfaction?
Perhaps they are sociopaths who thrive on discomfort?
Their motives remain a mystery but one thing is certain -
Avoid these creatures and their foul pit of misery at all cost.

It was a bad experience, they charged us with some extra charges that were not advertised when we made the reservation.
The tank was not at full capacity when we took it, in the first 10 kilometres travelled the needle went down to the next level.
They are not directly at the Airport, so you have to wait for a shuttle to bring you to the office and also you have to wait for the shuttle to bring you to the terminal when you bring the car back.
If there is any chance to go back to Faro we will not rent a car un Surprice Car Rentals.

Une grosse arnaque, prévoyez un bon billet si vous souhaitez prendre une voiture ici mais je vous le déconseille!

Should be negative 10 Stars. Run away. Never use this company. Hire cabs everywhere in a 100 mile radius over a month’s stay anywhere in the Algarve and you would probably still pay less than hiring a piece of junk from this company. The cars are dinged up, the service to the worst in the world.
We paid for full excess insurance - but they then tried to charge us for an existing dent (noted on the paperwork). Full excess means that you don’t worry about dents - even lore when it was an existing dent!
There is one man running the shuttle bus - and one man at the shop only. The shuttle bus takes up to 45 min between each run. It seats 10 ppl only so expect a very long wait of up to 3 hours to hire the car. Price quoted on line was 1/8 th of what they charged. The reviews don’t lie. This is the worst car hire in the WORLD.

A total rip off. We upgraded to the full coverage insurance specifically after we were told that all damage would be covered if we got a police report if there was damage. Somehow our windshield cracked while we were parked in a town and we took the time to file and get a police report, but of course the fine print in PORTUGUESE put that glass wasn’t covered, so 750€ for a crack that we didn’t even cause and was just our bad luck. The older lady with the short blond hair at the Faro location was flat out rude when I complained and tried to explain that we had SPECIFICALLY been told that all we needed was a police report to be covered by her colleague when we upgraded the insurance. Instead I her first reaction was to say she would call the police. NOT friendly customer service at all. She should be fired for being outright hostile to customers. ALSO beware that they want an almost $3000 security deposit on your credit card if you don’t upgrade the insurance. Only reason I don’t give a 1-star rating for everything is because the car itself was what we ordered, clean and with a full tank, and the other staff we interacted with at other times were friendly.

They are theives avoid at any price. First you have to get out of the airport to wait for a small shuttle to pick you up to drive you at their office. First ones to manage to get inside the shuttle get to go. Then you must have a credit card or you pay an extra 18 EUR per day plus an extra 35 EUR if you drop the car outside their office hours. Though they do take your debit card to pay the fees of the booking. total fees paid on internet plus extra paid for no credit card you might as well book your çar at airport with main rental cars they are professional, pleasant and helpful.

Ne mérite aucune étoile. Piège à touristes. Nous avons loué une Toyota Corolla ou similaire, donc 5 vraies places, et nous nous sommes retrouvés avec une Volkswagen UP 4 places...Bonjour la galère pour caler nos valises. Ils reconnaissent leur erreur mais ne veulent rien faire pour nous proposer une autre voiture, ni nous faire une remise. Ajoutez à cela une caution exorbitante, une voiture sans le plein d’essence et dans un état très limite. Sans parler de la CB en débit qu’ils refusent fin de nous facturer une assurance en plus. A fuir, il y a beaucoup plus honnête et moins cher.

Ils réclament des montants impressionnants en terme de caution et ce n'est écrit nul part dans le contrat ( en tous cas dans celui qu'on a reçu). Plus de 2600 euros de caution était réclamé dans notre cas et ils proposaient de nous re-créditer 7 jours après la fin de la location, incroyable! nous étions passé par une compagnie relais pour notre location donc nous n'avions aucune idée que le loueur final serait Surprice. Le service était déplorable, les employés n'ont qu'une chose en tête vous forcer à payer! C'est dommage car ce n'est vraiment pas nécessaire d'avoir ce genre de technique pour avoir des clients. A mon sens il est préférable de louer avec une compagnie classique, c'est ce que nous avons fait au final et ça nous ai revenu à moins cher. De plus la caution était carrément raisonnable et a été remboursée dès le retour du véhicule.
En annulant la location Surprice, l'employé nous a fait savoir qu'il avait une liste de personnes qui souhaitaient louer donc que nous pouvions toujours utiliser UBER si nous ne souhaitions pas louer chez eux :o

This a scam, stay away. The boy with rasta hair was so rude in telling me that I have to pay double for them staying overtime, I have asked to speak with the manager and he showed me another guy at the desk but he was making fun of him, he laughed at me saying that he decided to cancel my reservation, without caring that his manager was there.
Can`t get any more clearer than this, it`s a mafia company, stay away!!!
P.S. my reservation number SCR722971, I will not e-mail you with other info as I truly believe this is a scam company, read all the reviews for God`s sake, and I don`t deal with MAFIA rentals.

Personnellement tout s'est très bien passé si à l'avenir je reviens dans le secteur il y a de grandes chances que je m'adresse à eux 35 € pour 10 jours de location kilométrage illimité ( et non pas 35 € par jours) pour un véhicule Cayman neuf de type Toyota yaris diesel il y a pas photos... Chez les autres on compte plutôt en centaines...
Pour info la société de location est à l'extérieur de la ville ! Ils ont une navette qui fait des rotations tout les 1/4 d'heures environ
Une chose à faire très attention comme dans beaucoup de boîtes de location de véhicules au Portugal (ou ailleurs) les cautions sont très élevées (un peu moins de 3000 euros dans mon cas) et elles sont bloquées le jour même donc prévoyez le solde sur votre compte sinon vous repartirez à pieds
le debloquage des cautions peut prendre un peu de temps...
ne pas hésiter à prendre l'assurance complémentaire d'une vingtaine d'euros ce qui permettra aussi de diminuer là où les cautions et beaucoup de soucis éventuellement futur

Petite agence non loin de l aéroport accessible en navette des l arrivée à l aéroport de Faro. Pour ma part je n ai pas rencontré de grandes difficultés avec cette agence mis à part le fait que ma carte bancaire avait la mention débit et bon débit, j ai du donc souscrire une assurance complémentaire à 40eur par jour pour être couverte et avoir une franchise réduite à 400eur au lieu de 2400eur.
Le véhicule était propre, le contrat de location clair, l utilisation du dispositif de péage pratique et le pick up and drop off rapides.
Je relouerai pour mon prochain séjour chez eu par contre je ne passerai pas par la centrale de réservation discover car rental car les assurances full coverage qu ils vous vendent au moment de la réservation ne sont pas reconnues par les loueurs sur place.

Dont rent here when you pick up they take $3000 from credit card and only give back 20 days after. It's in the small letter in the contract

Disgraceful company, should be shut down. Staff rude and aggressive, especially tall blonde haired guy with tattoos (zero customer service skills). Charged £200 on return for a scratch which could of been removed by t-cut. Also charged 70 euro for 5 people out of office shuttle because we had 2 cars on 2 bookings. Their website does not allow you to book 2 cars on 1 booking so a complete and utter con!! Watch out for this company, you are better off spending a little more money on a reputable company.

Mauvaise expérience.pas très accueillant.prennent les touristes pour des vaches à lait.attention ,il faut une carte de crédit et non de débit sinon 15€ en plus par jour.Prevoir en supplément le badge autoroute.Si retour de la voiture hors horaire,35€ supplémentaires.Pas de signature contrat au retour pour constater le bon état de la voiture.....

Sehr schlecht organisiert stehen im faro seit einer Stunde und werden nicht abgeholt weil es nach den Nummern geht und es kommt nur einer Shuttlebus zur Abholung und keiner kann sagen wann wir abgeholt werden mit unsere Nummer sehr s hl so kann der Urlaub schon beginnen Danke!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Car was ok, but nothing more. We requested a VW Golf Estate or similar. While I'm aware that this doesn't mean your guaranteed a VW Golf, I'd expect to at least get something comparable as an equivalent vehicle, such as a Skoda Octavia, BMW 1Series, Ford Focus or Audi A3 - etc Instead we were given an Fiat Tipo Estate which is inferior in just about everyway imaginable and is what you would expect to be "as similar" for cars such as Renault, Seat, Citroen, Vauxhall/Opel. This whole endeavour is made particularly wise as we could have paid a lower cost to get a Renault Megan or similar for a lower price.

Non mi è piaciuto perche quando ho prenotato tramite Ryanair era scritto che l'auto di ritirava in aeroporto mentre bisognava prendere un bus bavetta e al ritorno abbiamo pagato un sovrapprezzo di € 35 perche dovevamo essere in aeroporto alle 5 di mattina , mai più con questo autonoleggio !

Goede auto verhuurbedrijf, schrok wel van de borg, die was aan de hoge kant, maar als je er rekening mee houd is het geen probleem €1800,- . Ook komen er nog kosten bij, voor het buiten kantoor uren terug brengen van de auto €35,-, tolvignet €18,-. Transfer van en naar de luchthaven (Faro) werd voor ons verzorgd.

We had a bad start. They gave us a car with a warming signal for a flat tyre, But we didn’t saw anything. They just rest the signal. Next morning, we had a flat tyre. But they helped us an within one hour we had the tyre repaired. They were very helpfull. Good price! Not worser than the big chains.

Absolute RIP-OFF! Bunch on cons for no reasons took £150 out of my account! Had to do a charge back via my bank to get my money. Don’t go there stay away. Rather go to Authorised companies like Avis, Enterprise or Thrifty.
