Late room check in which was delayed by over 5 hours, bags were lost in the meantime. Concierge is next to useless as we were informed all restaurants were fully booked on our arrival yet I didn’t see anyone in any of them at 6pm which is when we asked to be seated. The maitre d’ explained that you can just walk in. The kids club is very dirty but the staff are extremely nice. If you want to go out for dinner I’d go along the strip in front of the resort, they are all fantastic. Don’t bother with the on-site deli which was a 15 min walk from my apartment, the supermarket outside the complex is vastly superior. Personally I would recommend staying in your own villa for far less and enjoy the peace as well as a heated pool.

Highly recommend staying a few days at this luxurious resort. Can be a bit expense but worth it. We ended our trip here at this resort after a 12 day tour of Portugal and the beauty of it and the amenities were just what we needed to unwind and slow down before returning home to the US. Treat yourself. You won't regret it.

Great location with beautiful views and a stunning beach. We visited as a family and enjoyed both the beach and days around the many pools. We swapped between 2 of them ! Good base to explore both Vila Moura and Albufeira, both just a short taxi ride away. Great choice of restaurants.

Words can’t not describe the family holiday we had at Pine Cliffs. Everything from start to finish was exceptional, attention to detail was superb. It’s all about the kids and they have thought of everything. It’s expensive but worth every penny. The staff are wonderful, so friendly and helpful. Best holiday for us!

I’ve been staying at Pine Cliffs since a very young age and have been going most years. The last couple of years I have been staying in the Ocean Suites, they are fantastic and very luxurious. The Ocean Suites are very modern, staff are so kind and friendly. Every stay I have at Pine Cliffs is outstanding. I look forward to my next stay for 10 nights at the end of June.

Pine Cliffs is a beautiful property. It was a great stay for a 50th birthday celebration amongst friends. We loved the pools, spa, and beach. It was truly a relaxing stay and May is the perfect time of year before the peak season starts.

the property is in am amazing location, beautiful grounds and views of the sea. The buildings are well maintained the room clean and comfortable. The service, with some exceptions is generally very poor. Staff do not seem attentive or concerned about providing quality service for clients.

My family and I spent a week at the resort. From start to end, the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Nothing was too much, from off-menu food for my son to questions about the location and other attractions. The tennis coaching is of a high standard. Everyone was super enthusiastic and supportive. My son did the golf academy and him and my wife had private golf lessons. Jay (golf pro) was brilliant, taking them through the basics and really giving the family the golfing bug! Fantastic time had by all. We will be back for more!

There are multiple options to stay at Pine Cliff. We stayed at Luxury Ocean Suites in November .... Well, to be fair to this resort Ocean Suite part is far far away from 5 star hotel. Room decor is poor and we have tons of ants in the room. We have complained all 4 days , it seems they wipe them out ,but few hours later all ants were back. Resort it self is nice. Great ocean and cliff viewing. Good access to the beach. Food here 4 star at best. If you are looking to try real Portuguese food you can find plenty of places outside the resort. We went to this resort again and stayed at Villa. Much better experience

The fact we have been visiting this resort on average twice a year for the past twenty years' speaks for itself! The Ocean Suites are a new addition to this extensive resort which provides something for everyone. The Suites are beautiful and are situated close to the main hotel and within walking distance to the tennis courts, golf club, beach and children's area. The other thing that makes this resort extra special is the staff. Many have been there since the original hotel opened and they go out of their way to make your stay memorable without being 'in your face'!

As benefices Quarto, cama e instalações do banheiro perfeito( tirando o ralo) Equipe de staff simpática Piscina , praia e jardins perfeitos e bem cuidados A academia de ginástica é uma das mais bem equipadas que já frequentei em hotéis No geral eu recomendo mas deixo aqui um alerta para a equipe de gerenciamento para mais detalhes a pequenos pontos . Beautiful hotel and environment - the cobbled pathways and grounds are well kept, stylish and abound with foliage and shrub colour. Theres plenty of choice of restaurants both in the resort and nearby. Pools were lovely but on all accounts, the beach was amazing. Staff were friendly throughout the resort. I would highly recommend wine tasting at Mimo. The organic wines we tasted were lovely, the instruction fun and informative and the friendly company made the night! Five stars! The only two suggestions I could make which would have added to our enjoyment would have been 1. a shuttle service to nearby Albufeira. It was very easy to catch the local bus to Albufeira (from right outside the hotel), however a night time operated shuttle would have been good, even if just to offer a change of environment. And, 2. Some additional evening entertainment - maybe local singers or musicians at one of the bars. We did enjoy music at the cocktail reception on Tuesday night, but unfortunately for us it coincided with the time of our arrival at the resort. However, the reception was a lovely touch by the hotel management. Definitely deserves the five stars.

My wife and I came here on vacation and we had an amazing time. The beaches are beautiful. We went when it was slightly cooler so we had the beach mostly to ourselves. We also had a wonderful couples massage which included a day at their spa. The resort is a wonderful home base for day trips out along the coastline as well.

Extremely poor service. Terribly understaffed and not up to the Marriott standard. Long time to check in, long, long wait time for any type of room service and even longer wait time for housekeeping. Avoid stay at this property.

Sad to make this review. Went over the Summer with family and had a great first week-- very expensive within the resort but lovely restaurants in the locality. Unfortunately, the day before we left my brother had his phone stolen from our suite. It was a new iPhone he had received as a gift. Naturally we tried the 'Find my iPhone' feature and tracked it outside of the resort to a home in the local area. We have reason therefore to believe a member of staff (just a bad egg as everyone else we met was lovely) stole the phone, and then switched it off to prevent further tracking. The police did little to help us due to what we now assume was a number of misunderstandings in translation and we received very little advice. Our flight was the next day and so we left without having the phone returned, despite knowing its location. The Resort itself gave us poor advice and acted slowly. This certainly soured the experience and we will not be returning to the Pine Cliffs Resort.

We really enjoyed our stay at the beautiful Pine Cliffs Ocean Suites. The grounds are magnificent. The location in the middle of the Algarve was ideal. The concierge was extremely helpful with suggesting things to do and restaurants. In fact, he contacted us via e-mail before we even arrived to see if we had any questions. That was a first.

The property is huge, but very well kept and with great service. Facilities are great, but the landscape is what makes it special. The cliffs, the beach and the gardens are gorgeous. You can stay for a week without leaving the property. Strongly recommend.

The site and location is very nice, with great pools, rooms and beach. We took the half board. The food was unfortunately not the best for a 5* resort. We were expecting also better service and attention from the staff of the hotel but over all is decent and the sunset on the edge of the cliff is beautiful!!

My fiance and I stayed here in late August 2019. After we booked, we started to get a little nervous reading deeper into some of the negative reviews we found online. However, ownership of the resort recently changed over from Sheraton to Marriot and it's clear the new management has taken these criticisms to heart. This is an absolutely stunning resort, with first class service and exceptional food. However, you get what you pay for. This is not the place to save a buck. Cocktails cost 11 euros, beer 6 and a sandwich can run you 18 euros (and that's without even addressing the room rates). With that price though, you get an exceptional experience. Although my fiance and I do not have children yet, we saw plenty of families here and it looks like there are tons of activities for children. If the price isn't an issue, this is a great place for couples and families.

Please do not stay at this hotel. It is the worst run hotel ever which does not even want to improve. I finally ran out of steam explaining to the staff - nothing is ever going to change. If you have children, don’t go there!

Our first time in Algarve and we stayed at this Beautiful hotel resort! They have a great selection of restaurants which offer outstanding cuisine and service experience. Would definitely love to return for another visit in the future!

We spent 4 nights at Pine Cliffs and had 6 suites for our family which were all just beautiful! The staff were really wonderful and even arranged a taxi and made an appointment for me when my son had a medical need during our stay. Don't miss the BBQ at the clubhouse and lovely champaign bar at sunset. Truly one of the nicest resorts we have ever stayed. My only disappointment was that we couldn't stay longer.

If you have family with children this is a good hotel. If you are looking for a retreat like setting, this is not the place. Hotel property is beautiful. Rooms are average, at best.

We stayed as a group of 14 for a family birthday for in all over 30 nights between us and overall had a wonderful stay - the resort is idyllic with everything you need (you really dont need to leave) my only grips is that the service is not sharp enough for a ;luxury' hotel and there needs some more variety in f&b offering - a pizza place for kids or a snack bar could be good as it is v expensive to eat there every day for all meals and many guests leave and go over the road

Very nice hotel both for holiday and conferences. Spacious, beutiful and well equiped. Stairs and elevator to the beach, which is long streched giving opportunity for all from sunbathing to work out. Various restaurants on site and rich breakfast. Attentive and nice staff close at hand everywhere. Well organized when handling conferences, manages modern techniques well.

The staff and the facility are lovely. Everything is very modern and clean. On the downside the hotel is very much geared up to charge guests a significant amount which simply isn’t inline with local costs. Being pressed to have bottled water when the local tap water is perfectly drinkable for example. A medium beer for €5 when you’re already being charged so much per day is perhaps expected in the UK but not here. We took to having tap water with the meal and drinking in our room after which saved us hundreds. We were also charged to have lunch even though we were told we could use our half board supplement for lunch or dinner. Given it’s paid I think it’s disgraceful guests can’t choose how to spend it and we narrowly avoided a bill for €120 extra due to this - which I had to chase twice to have sorted out. All in all a beautiful resort but they need to put the experience first and make it less about fleecing the guests.

One of the best family hotels in Portugal. Great food, cleanliness, customer service and location. Kids have a blast playing football, basketball, mini-golf etc. while parents relax in one of the many bars or restaurants. A bit expensive but definitely worth it.

We went to this highly recommended resort to spend 3 days as a family. When we made the booking, there was no mention of special conditions at the hotel in the winter. When we arrived we were greeted with all of the marketing about how great this hotel is for families. After checking in, we started exploring to take advantage of the many activities offered, only to find out they were all closed. Everything except for golf was closed. We then decided to try and eat something. All of the best and larger restaurants were closed. We spent a good amount of money and time and basically had to go off resort to eat and do anything. DO NOT go in the winter or check before to see what is open/available.

Extremely large property that does it's best to satisfy all guests needs. We were a party of 7 in a 3 bedroom ocean suite. And once we got a feel for the property, all it's pools, restaurants, and amenities; we were able to settle in. A large property that supports golf, suites, hotel, tennis and beach; it can be very complicated. And given that, they pulled off almost everything with ease. Example, the internet was slow in our suite. The head of IT brought out a hot spot, plugged it into our rooms, which allowed the 10+ devices to be supported as well as expected. Recommend it for any family vacation.

The property was great and so was our stay. I think the hotel should be slightly more candid about how little there is to do "out of season". Many of the kids facilities, cliffside bar, restaurants, etc are closed and this was an issue. In addition, unless it is very hot for some time, the pools are freezing cold as they are not heated. I would accept responsibility for not knowing this but their website was inaccurate and hopefully has been updated. Besides that we found the property very nice, the rooms very comfortable, and our buffet breakfast was excellent each day.

I have been staying at pine cliffs for eighteen years sometimes three times a year. I have also introduced my family and many friends.I do holiday in other places all over europe and America but nothing compares with this hotel and complex. The complex is outstanding as is the beach, but what makes it even better are the friendly extremely helpful staff who go to any lenthgs to ensure you are happy.It makes a world of difference when you are greeted as friendsand made to feel special.This Hotel and complex are absolutely outstanding and we are looking forward to our next visit.

The Pine Cliff Residences were fantastic once again. This is the second Easter in a row that we've visited and didn't want to leave! The staff were great and the facilities were amazing. The golf course was in great shape. We also played a lot of mini golf which we really enjoyed. The 2 bedroom villa in S3 was a great location to the main pool, golf clubhouse and kids club. The villa itself was large and very well appointed. The AC unit was limited to only go down to 19C, so it was hot at nights sometimes. We did a half day tour to Silves and loved it. Highly recommended. Only other thing we would say that needs more attention is the tram/train that goes around the resort. It's too slow and doesn't come around enough. Doubling up the routes would help, especially when someone needs to be taken to the main gate. Possibly a golf cart to take people to the beach as well. Thanks for a fantastic stay!

As long standing guests at Pine Cliffs we can state that the high standard expected never disappoints. Having just returned from a visit we are now looking forward to the next time.

Every year we chose Pine Cliffs for a break or a beach holiday in Portugal and has now gone 20 years. The beach is beautiful and very safe to practice water activities. For access to the beach is available a panoramic elevator and you can go by foot through wonderful pine trees and cliffs. Children now teenagers Keep liking. Pine Cliffs continues to grow - this year began a period of works of construction and improvements. It was not disturbing. The environment was not damaged, so that our stay was as always memorable. For those who love a holiday in the Algarve and demand nature, quality, refinement and discretion, Pine Cliffs is the best choice.

Just returned from a stay in a fabulous three bed apartment in Pine Cliffs Residence. Our family of six had ample space in the height of luxury. Rooms were immaculately clean and well appointed and the beds difficult to leave they were so comfortable! The resort itself is nothing short of stunning, set on a cliff top overlooking a beautiful beach that goes on for miles, within meticulously manicured grounds surrounded by every amenity you could wish for. Food was good, not amazing, but part of the appeal of staying in this location are the wonderful local restaurants on your doorstep. Staff were all very attentive but a special mention must go to the wonderful Philippe and his staff at the Mirador champagne bar who made us all feel very welcome and the children very special having their nightly "cocktail". Cannot recommend this resort highly enough and will certainly be returning again soon.

We had a wonderful stay with our family. Pine Cliff gives so much; for every age facilities are super: high quality comfortable appartment, breakfast, swimming, spa, golf, beach, responsive staff; Porto Pirate; we were with 4 grandchildren end 6 adutls and had an peacefull and satisfying stay.

We have been regular visitors to the Sheraton Algarve Hotel for the past eighteen years and due to it's temporary closure for refurbishment we experienced the Residences for the first time. The apartments are furnished to an extremely high standard and clearly a lot of thought has been given to their design. We would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending them to our friends and in fact we have already done so! Just a word about the staff. The Sheraton management have clearly recognised the importance, where possible, of retaining long serving staff. To arrive and be greeted warmly by old friends just gives a true feel good factor. Whether it's Marilia and the girls in the restaurant area, Telma, Manuel, Jorge, Beatrice and Louis at the golf club or Hugo and Manuela at the guest relations it just adds so much to the experience. Having spoken to other guests this is a widely held view. Staff quality is just as important as any major hotel upgrade and James Munro the general manager and his team are to be congratulated in recognising this.

We were very impressed with the facilities, especially with the 3 bedroom accommodation. The apartment was very spacious, rooms en-suite, big bathrooms, big comfortable beds and pillows, plasma TV in all rooms, kitchen, kitchen, dishwasher, microw, laundry area, furnished balcony or terraces....very impressing indeed, what you see in their website is what you get. Cleaning service excellent. Very important to note, it didn't feel overcrowded at all despite being Easter time. I am not sure how this resort would cope once the Sheraton hotel reopens again , as they only have a 9 hole golf course, and not enough tennis courses. I would highly recommend this place as an option to escape the UK grey weather.

We booked Pine Cliffs for a family holiday, taking our 2 year old away for the first time. The resort had been sold to us as a family resort with wonderful facilities for kids and adults alike. We had a garden access 2-bedroom suite in the residences and the apartment had every modern convenience we could have wished for. However, we would say that while the main areas of the apartment were cleaned daily, a good sweep of corners etc wouldn't go a miss as there were quite a few spiders webs and dust we noticed which never was cleared all week. Our holiday included free wifi which was high speed and had no issues with it. Breakfast at OGrills was delicious and the staff were very helpful in ensuring a highchair and kids cutlery was brought for our daughter. On a few mornings, we did notice that there was a huge issue with lots of flies around the food which was off putting and therefore restricted which food we felt comfortable in eating and meant fruit was out of the equation. Our daughter used the Porto Pirata kids club and again, the staff were fantastic! She loved her time there and the variety of activities and food which she experienced. Although I wouldn't be sure if I would have felt comfortable with her using it in peak season as the rooms were very hot. The pools were lovely and it was great to have the option of a heated pool for kids. We would note that we didn't feel that the layout of the hotel was very pedestrian friendly. Around the residences there was a footpath away from traffic which was fine, but from Porto pirata to the hotel or resort exit, there was no footpath and it made pushing a pram difficult and we didn't feel very safe as some drivers went very fast through the resort. The food we ate in Piri Piri, OGrills and the clubhouse was delicious however, we we disappointed that ogrills and the clubhouse stopped serving at 530 and only did a bar menu instead of the full menu which was available at lunch. We felt that it was a considerable walk to get from our residence to the exit of the resort to try restaurants outside, especially with a pram and towards the end of our week, the residence shuttle wasn't operational. In addition to this the resort supermarket closed a few days before we arrived which meant to get even a bottle of water, we had a 25 minute trek to the supermarket outside the resort. Unfortunately during our stay there was a large corporate group also staying which resulted in us missing out on sleep for 3 nights due to constantly being woken by their noise. When we phoned reception, the staff were extremely helpful and did send security which solved the problem for a while but the nature of the group meant that they were moving from apartment to apartment. We appreciate the hotel was not at fault for their behaviour and have to say that the duty manager Luis, was extremely apologetic and understanding when we expressed our frustrations. However, it did ruin half of our holiday as we were all tired and grumpy from lack of sleep which was not ideal with a 2 year old and me being 6 months pregnant. Neither of us are golfers so can't comment on the course but it was lovely to look at and appeared to be well maintained. The resort itself is lovely but unfortunately just didn't meet our expectations.

Excellent and probably an 8 out 10 for a holiday. all things were pretty good. Food, buffets , staff, cleanliness overall fine. the resort was busy with 1700 guest in Sheraton and the resort overall so managing all this will be a challenge and they did well. I would say that evening entertainment on maybe 3-4 nights a week in unused spaces or an outdoor stage in high season would be good. offer drinks to the grown ups and a clown or a quality kids entertainer. after 5pm and kids club closing you have to care for your kids all night! Another probably more severe downside is the cost in August. Whilst we had a great deal on the accommodation even though top high season the extras hit you hard. The resort shop needs reviewing, badly. They charge close 1€ per 1x kids nappy and 5€ for a pack of wipes! Outrageuous in a fam hotel. otherwise highly recommended.

The facilities as always were superb. This resort is made more special by the excellence of the staff. Paoulo & Thiago in the Bar , plus Olivera , Carlos , Vasco , Nuno in the O grill ( and manager Pedro ) run the most family friendly part of the resort with the result that we ate & drank there alomost every night over the two weeks of our stay. Moina Bernardo taught our four sons to play golf and made the experience a joy for them and even managed to make some improvements to my limited game. A superb holiday and experience - Thanks especially to the great staff in Pine Cliffs - we can`t wait to get back..

We have now stayed at the Pinecliffs Residence apartments for 3 consecutive years. After the first experience the grandchildren do not wish to stay anywhere else. All the staff without exception are very attentive and helpful.The accommodation is top quality.

The standard of food in Piri Piri this year was disappointing. Also, with so many families on the resort, especially in the Residences, some childrens entertainment/disco evry evening at 9pm would be very good!

Pros: Amazing Setting; Cliffs, Trees, and Ocean world class. Lot's of pools to choose from. Lot's of food options. Many entertainment (excellent playground!) options for children. Room size, kitchen appliances/equipment quite good. Bedroom set up well thought out. Cons: Lacked some basic amenities of considerably lower budget / prestige time shares in the residence - for example, basics such as starter laundry and dish soap, scrub pad to wash dishes, etc., that even the cheapest of properties supply as standard. Felt in general very nickel and dimed - not the experience we've been used to at other Luxury Collection properties and equivalent competitors where you do pay a high price to get in, but then feel like you are hosted by a gracious host going out of their way to show you hospitality. From a nice greeting by name when I arrived, it generally went down hill in terms of general attitude of staff (basically "this is the way it is - take it or leave it") to being made to purchase swim caps at the pool - only hotel I've every experienced this in the world! To having to call multiple times to have maintenance issues in room fixed. Every time we called it felt as is the staff had no clue who their guests are ("what room did you say you were in?") including having to explain that Platinum SPG status comes with free wifi (after being told condesendingly on the phone that you have to pay extra for that). Overall, great property, great rooms, great amenities, with mediocre service and attention to guests. In my book this is the difference between a nice hotel in a nice location and a true luxury property. This one fell short of our expectations by a long shot.

Great hotel. We have been there 9 times.. Very clean rooms. Kind personell. Beautifull gardens. Minor points: very small beach, we rent a car to go elsewhere. No wifi in the rooms or appartments, only at the reception. Slow service with the drinks everywhere. The many birds on the terrace, they make the furniture dirty. The taste of the buffetfood is rather flat, not outspoken and a minumum use of salt, pepper or herbs. I regret that.

This is a fantastic resort and for the 10 days of unfettered luxury we spent there I didn't see a grumpy face, well at least not till the cabbie came to pick us up!. We went in early June,out of school holidays for the last time before our eldest goes to school in September and was in like company. We made some great friends and it was clear the staff welcomed the children along with the adults. The weather was great, the food was varied and of great quality and the environment was spotlessly clean and well kept.

Excellent. My wife and I have taken our children nine years in a row and have never been disappointed. Highly recommended.

Very lovely hotel. Excellent room once we were moved from the town house to the apartments. The staff are very friendly and very accommodating. Food is good in the o' grill and piri piri. Generally overpriced though. Would definitely go again.

First evening meal took 1 hour to arrive. The steaks were like leather , old boots and were tiny. My risotto was rice swimming in mushroom stock.It was very poor service and the maitre D had no idea. The other meals - tiny portions of everything , salads were minute and the service was slow , laboring and very poor. The food prices are ridiculously high for the tiny portions made. The service is so bad. Our accomodation was booked through a travel company in England. But you charged us for accomodation on my mastercard on my return to England. Unjustified and fraudualant using someones credit card details without authorisation. It was seriously bad that a five star hotel can behave in this manner . The hotel caused so much stress to us.

The hotel, facilities and staff were better than last year. The staff at the Piri Piri restaurant were overworked on a very busy Easter saturday night. They worked hard and diligently to clear the backlog of waiting customers.The Corda bistro unfortunately seemed to be understaffed both times our party went there. Service was very slow, and there were many uncleared tables inside, for much of the time. On one occasion at the pool beside S1 apartments, the entry footwash baths were empty and dirty. The outside shower also appeared to be unuseable. Overall we had an excellent family holiday and everyone of our family group had a great time

I cannot speak highly enough of Pine Cliffs Residence. I travel all over the world with my work and I'm struggling to think of a nicer place to stay. The staff were exceptional, the accommodation was superb, the facilities were top class and the whole resort is impeccably maintained. We will definitely be back!

Our stay at the Pine Cliffs Resort was truly luxurious. Our 3 bedroom apartment in the Residences was extremely nice and so spacious, plenty of room for our group of 7, it really made our holiday. The resort is beautiful and the location is stunning, especially the views from the cliffs and the beach. The food at all of the restaurants we tried was so delicious. The only negative is that almost everything is an extra charge and nothing is very budget friendly. For example, it would be nice to be able to use the tennis courts or internet in the room for example without being charged, This is the only aspect that would prevent us from recommending this resort to others.

My wife and I needed a break in the sun and selected Pine Cliffs residence. We did not expect to find hundreds of Pre-school aged children whose behaviour often in restaurants, late in the evening, spoilt our enjoyment of the excellent food. Many of the parents aged 30/40+ just allowed the youngsters to run wild with little regard for other diners. This is an excellent Hotel/ Resort with an abundance of pools and great facllities for everyone, but by 10pm these little children should have been tucked up in bed.

We had a dream stay that we put together on short notice. It is in a superb central location easy to access from Lisbon or Faro. We always like to try new places to play golf and we were very pleased. The golf course on site was beautiful and challenging and the staff helped us arrange a variety of fine other places to play. The pool at teh clubhouse was very peaceful. The sand cliff beach is spectacular, the staff was friendly and efficient. We'll go back again!

We decided on relatively short notice to visit the Algarve based upon recommendations of our friends in Scotland. Not too many people from the USA go to the south of Portugal as a destination, but we are golfers and Palm Springs, Scottsdale and South Florida lose their charm over time, so we chose Albuferia and Pine Cliffs Residence specifically to go and play some golf and get some R&R. The facilities were absolutely first rate top-to bottom and there are over 30 golf courses very nearby. We enjoyed the proximity and detachment from the main hotel and opted for a residence with no regrets whatsoever. All the amenities of a hotel (Room Service, daily Maid Service and use of Hotel facilities) made our stay nearly perfect. Apparently it was more rainy than usual for March, yet it hardly made any impact on our stay. It never stopped us from playing golf and specifically the 9-hole course on site was just wonderful. We were easily able to set up golf elsewhere and played excellent courses including the nearby sister SPG property La Meridien Penina Course. The beach access, scenery and especially the staff attentativeness with fine service without smothering (as we sometimes experience in the US) was delightful. Slightly out of season all restaurants and bars were not open, but we even experienced a very special guest chef dinner & wine pairing for a very nice price the Saturday night of our stay. We indeed intend to return to this property. Our near-total lack of skills in the Portugese language was in any way a deficit or detraction to our stay. Highly recommended.

Had our 5th family stay in October 2012: quality only seems to increase (especially ther service lvel of the staff: really do every effort dto make you feel welcome and special. Can strongly recommend this for a family holiday.
