Thanks to the whole team for showing people dolphins in their natural habitat - not captured in an aquarium.
It was a true lifetime experience to watch the dolphins in the open sea - their power, elegance, speed, joy.
Also the trip with the speed boat was super fun.
Thanks to the whole crew - you are all super kind. And also thanks for explaining all the background information around dolphins.
I am glad that people like you take the effort to study this creatures and try to protect them.

Excursion très agréable, très bien gérée , 12 kms environ de côte et grottes. Visite à faire..... un petit bémol explications en anglais pas de français pour le moment .Bateau semi rigide super confortable. Nous étions six très contents.

Sehr entschleunigte Atmosphäre. Professioneller gut strukturierter Ablauf (2 Hours Wild Dolphin). Eindrucksvoller Spot mit sehr vielen Delphinen. Anschließend bei Kaffee und Keksen Informatives und Nachhaltiges zur derzeitigen Situation in der Unterwasserwelt. Plus ein Video vom Trip rundet den Ausflug perfekt ab. Einziges Manko, die Bearbeitungszeit fürs Video ist ein wenig zu lang. Gutes Zusammenspiel im Team. Danke an das Team von Wildwatch!

Lovely boat ride with a skilled driver ( and lots of leg room , if that is a priority, ) but there was nothing to recommend the higher price of the ride. No commentary other than naming the caves, no information on area geology or cave formation which would have enhanced the experience perhaps enough to warrant the extra euros charged (cost:35 euros) Same wharf had a cave tour for 17.50.

Super Freundliches Personal und eine klasse Tour ! Waren fast 2h aufm Wasser und haben hunderte Delfine gesehen , im Anschluss gab es noch eine Präsentation über Delfine bei einem Kaffe oder Tee sowie die Videos die vom Guide gemacht wurden haben wir uns angeschaut, diese erhält man Kostenfrei und sind lohnenswert ( Unterwasser Aufnahmen)
Kann es nur weiterempfehlen und würde es noch einmal besuchen !!

Très bonne equipe, bien organisé et réalisé. Malheureusement pour nous, nous n'avons vu aucun animal marin aujourdhui. 2 heures de bateau pour n'observer que la ligne d'horizon. Wildwatch nous a rembourser entièrement (40€ par pers.) en s'excusant plusieurs fois, contrairement au 20€ par pers. remboursé promis sur le flyers. Merci a eux pour leur franchise !

Een super leuke ervaring.
Vriendelijke en goede begeleiding.
Achteraf veel uitleg gekregen over de verschillende dolfijnsoorten. Samen met koffie, thee en een koekje. Zeer gastvrij.
Een hele groep dolfijnen gezien en een walvis in de verte. De kapitein maakte een goede snelheid met de boot, tof!!

Equipe preparatissima. Ottima organizzazione dall'arrivo alla fine dove si conclude nel loro locale con una piacevole colazione ed una magistrale spiegazione di quello che si è visto. Interessante e no noiosa.
La mia famiglia compresi i bambini sono rimasti incantati.
L'imbarcazione è con il giusto numero e non si è affollati.
Prezzo giusto per il servizio offerto.

Das Team ist wirklich mit Herzblut bei der Arbeit. Sie versuchen auch nach der Dolphin Tour dem Besucher bei einem kurzen Vortrag die tägliche Arbeit näher zu bringen.

Haben die Tagestour gemacht. Toller Trip. Hatten nicht seeehr viel Glück viele Tiere zu sehen aber unser Kapitän tat alles damit wir wenigstens Delfine sehen konnten. Essen an Board super. Würden den Trip sofort wieder machen.

Schade, dass unsere Segeltrip auf so unprofessionell Weise storniert wurde. Hatten unseren Aufenthalt in der Nähe extra danach geplant. Kann das Unternehmen organisatorisch daher nicht empfehlen. Im Buchungsvorgang stand nirgends, dass es gegebenenfalls storniert werden kann. Wir sind extrem traurig. Aber man fährt heutzutage wohl lieber mit schmutzigen Motorbooten raus. More tourist like. Zudem musste ich auf Nachfrage Alternativen aufzeigen. Die ich dann hätte nochmal selbst buchen sollen. Das kam dann für uns nicht mehr in Frage. Sehr schade!
Ach ja, und die angeblichen angeboten Alternativen, waren lächerlich, bzw. nicht vorhanden oder ausgebucht. Ich musste nach Alternativen suchen! Und habe dann komplett die Lust auf den Trip und das Vertrauen für das Unternehmen verloren. Wie es unten steht, ist die Unwahrheit. Unverschämt, es mir in die Schuhe zu schieben, dass Sie nicht gut für mich waren. Und das ich wohl nicht lesen kann. Nicht die feine englische Art! Nie wieder!

Had a great time watching dolphins and visiting caves. We saw two kinds of dolphins and some even swam with the boat for a while. Wind was a bit rough and we got pretty wet but it was worth it. Very nice and passionate marine biologists. We got lots of information about the dolphins and other sea animals after the tour. Would do it again any time! Be sure to bring a water and wind proof jacket though!

Absolutely fantastic company and trip! We travelled all the way from Praia da Luz because we wanted to use a company that respected the dolphins and Wild Watch exactly fitted the bill. We went on the dolphin watching trip this morning and saw a pod of 80 bottlenose dolphins... They were playing adjacent to the boat, swimming underneath the boat and showing off. We even saw a newborn - less than a week old with its mother who obviously felt safe with the boat as they passed beneath the boat and surfaced aside. The marine biologist who came with us was really enthusiastic and explained everything about the dolphins and happily answered questions. She filmed the whole experience on a go-pro including underwater footage of the dolphins swimming alongside. The trip back to shore was exhilarating as we were driven at speed along the coastline and saw the various caves and cliffs and a secret passage way between rocky outcrops. Once we got back we had coffee and tea and biscuits along with a debrief of what we saw and what else can be seen along the coast. We wish we had time to go on the longer trip. Apparently we will get an edited copy of the go-pro video of our trip sent to us by email. We would definitely recommend the trip to anyone visiting the Algarve and will be telling all our friends who show the slightest interest in visiting Portugal. Amazing!

Nous avons vu vraiment bcp de dauphins, le bateau est resté très longtemps â les suivre (difficile de juger tant ca passe vite mais je dirais au moins 45 mn â les observer). Et au retour, le bateau a fait un petit detour bonus par les falaises. Au retour thé et petits gateaux. On en a vraiment pour son argent !
Seul bemol: c'est tres ciblé anglais, donc ils ne parlent pas francais...et le bateau (genre gros zodiac) peut secouer pas mal suivant les vagues. Mais quelle emotion de voir les dauphins d'aussi prés

Great trip by professional marine biologists other boat trips where scaring the dolphins where our skipper waited patiently til they left and we managed to play with the dolphins with the boat they were not scared at all would highly recommend them

Bonjour, pour faire une balade en mer rien de telle que de prendre une caravelle à portimao. Durée de la visite 3 heures pour 2 adultes et 2 enfants, compter 120€ vous ne serez pas déçu. Et les enfants vont adorer, bonne journée à vous tous.

Wir haben die 7 Stunden Segeltour und den Coastal Explorer gemacht. Beide Touren waren super entspannt. Nicht wie die sonst allgegenwärtigen Massenabfertigungen.
Sehr zuvorkommende Guides. Schöne Boote. Gute Organisation. Zu 100% zu empfehlen.

Im Vergleich zu den anderen Dolphin Watches ist man hier nicht nur 5 Minuten bei den Tieren sondern über eine halbe Stunde. Man unterstützt mit seinem Geld ein sinnvolles Projekt. Wir haben Dolphin and caves gebucht waren 3 Stunden unterwegs. Wir bekamen sehr viel erklärt und zum Abschluss gab es Tee Kaffee und Kekse und es wurde der Film gezeigt der während der Fahrt gemacht wurde. Dieser wird eine. Per Mail zur Verfügung gestellt. Während dem Fiöm wird eine. Erklärt was man da gesehen hat. Einfach super interessant. Das alles bekommt man bei den anderen Anbietern nicht und bezahlt nur wenige Euro weniger. Könnte man mehr als 5 Sterne vergeben würde ich diese alle vergeben

Nous, nous sommes allés visiter "Wildwatch", qui lutte pour la protection de la faune et flore marine : mammifères , poissons (petits et gros ), tortues ... et contre (si possible) la pollution et la pêche intensive, voire sauvage ou déraisonnée.
Nous avons pu voir des dauphins , ça c'est super chouette. La ballade en "Zodiac" est belle, nous avons un temps superbe, mer calme (hier). J'ai moins aimé qu'on les dérange pdt leur chasse.
Le message général m'a plu, j'y suis sensible donc pas tout à fait impartial.
Voilà pourquoi je me suis rendu chez eux.

Tolle Tour.
Hatte sehr gutes Wetter. Ruhige See und phantastische Begegnungen mit den Delfinen.
Hat richtig Spaß gemacht. Bei unserer Tour haben wir eine "Schule" mit ca. 30 bis 50 Tieren gesehen. Diese hatten offensichtlich Spaß daran dem Boot zu folgen und sich immer wieder zu zeigen.
Sichtungschancen bei ca. 95%. Toller Ausflug. Alles passte.

Mehr geht nicht! Zwischen 5 und 10 Euro teurer als der ein oder andere Mitbewerber, aber einfach nur empfehlenswert! Nicht nur die Tour, sondern der ganze Buchungsprozess und auch das gesellige und lehhmrreiche Beisammensein nach der Tour! 5 Sterne Plus und Daumen hoch! Obrigado!!!

Nachdem wir im letzten Jahr die Dolphins-Tour gemacht hatten (darüber schrieb ich eine Rezension), nahmen wir dieses Jahr im Juli zuerst an der „Caves & Dolphins Tour“ teil. Wieder haben wir sehr viele Delphine gesehen und die anschließende Fahrt entlang der Küste incl. Grotten war ein gelungener, schöner Abschluss.
Ein weiteres unvergessliches Erlebnis war für uns 3 (45, 41, 12) die 4-stündige „Family Costal Tour“! Telmo und Maise haben uns auf einem unglaublich tollen Trip begleitet, auf dem wir alle drei das erst Mal Kajak gefahren sowie geschnorchelt sind. Besonders beim Anziehen der wetsuits fürs Schnorcheln sowie der weiteren Ausrüstung waren die beiden Tourguides sehr geduldig und außerordentlich hilfsbereit :) Ich war zu Beginn etwas angespannt weil ich nicht wusste was mich erwartet, aber Maise und Telmo haben es geschafft mir diese Angst zu nehmen und so konnte ich mich darauf einlassen und entspannen.
Wir waren nach dieser Tour, auf der übrigens auch Getränke und Snacks for free angeboten wurden, richtig geflashed! Besonders das Schnorcheln im kristallklaren Wasser vor und in den Grotten hat es uns angetan. Ein traumhaftes Erlebnis, welches wir allen meeresbegeisterten Besuchern dringend empfehlen! Danke an Maise, Telmo und allen, die an der Organisation beteiligt waren

We enjoyed the trip with wildwatch. Actually, it was second time we booked dolphin watching trip with them. First time was 6 years ago. So we decided this time wildwatch to be the mandatory part of our second visit this year.

Ils expliquent bien les règles de sécurité avant l'embarquement !
Ils expliquent quels types de cétacés nous pouvons rencontrer.
Après la sortie en mer il y a un debrifing ils nous expliquent leur mode de vie leur morphologie etc super intéressant ils mettent en avant la prévention contre l'éco système. Ils offrent également un verre à boire et quelques gâteaux.

We went on a dolphin trip with our 4 and 8 year old children. It was really great! The trip itself is a very fast ride out to where the dolphins are...an experience in itself and lots of fun!! Today we saw lots of dolphins...some hunting, some being curious and coming over having a look at the boat and us and playing around the boat . This is the second time we went with Wildwatch Algarve and again, we came back all smiles .

Très bon accueil. Prix très correct. Équipe dynamique et passionnée. Nous avons vu pleins de dauphins et suivi une timide baleine. Balade prévue pour 1h30-2h mais pour observer un peu plus la baleine ( rare ) le commandant l'a suivie.. balade de 2h10 + explications et visionnages des images go pro pendant 1h avec café thé et gâteaux. Je recommande. Peut être à très vite pour le snorkeling..

La mejor experiencia para vivir en familia, el equipo es encantador y saben lo que hacen. Pudimos ver 2 tipos de delfines y estuvimos navegando con ellos un buen rato, impresionante!!! Los niños disfrutaron mucho. El barco es muy seguro y rápido y si el mar esta en buen estado (como con nosotros) puedes incluso disfrutar de alguna acrobacia. Al llegar a puerto café, té y galletas para recuperar fuerzas mientras disfrutas de una muy buena explicación de la vida de los distintos tipos de delfines y ballenas que puedes ver en la zona.
Si hubiese 10 estrellas se las ponía. Perfecto!!!

We hebben twee excursies gedaan bij Wildwatch. Zowel de grottentocht als het dolfijennspotten. Beiden waren helemaal top! Echt een aanrader. Door dat ze kennis hebben over waar de dolfijnen zich bevinden is het vrijwel gegarandeerd dat je ze ook gaat zien. Daarnaast is het erg leuk dat ze bij terugkomst nog van alles vertellen over het wild leven in de zee onder genot van thee/koffie en koekjes. De nagezonden video van de trip is ook helemaal super. De grotten tocht is ook mooi. Heel relaxt ontvangen en vertrokken. Heel wat anders dan op de standen

Nous avons regardé attentivement toutes les propositions de Wildwatch Algarve pour choisir une sortie. Avec nos deux fils de 6 et 10 ans, nous avons retenu la sortie en mer pour rencontrer les dauphins (réservation faite en ligne). Il s'agissait de notre toute 1ère sortie en mer et tout s'est très bien passé. Ariana, la biologiste marine, a été excellente, attentive à tous (explications en anglais). Nous avons vu des dizaines de dauphins communs, des vidéos sont faites avec une go-pro (un délai de 4 semaines est annoncé pendant l'été pour la recevoir) et une collation /débriefing est offert au retour, avec des explications sur les animaux rencontrés, la zone concernée, les dangers de la pollution sur la mer et la faune aquatique. Tout était parfait !
Nous avions hésité avec la sortie pour découvrir les grottes (cave trip) et du coup, nous avons réservé pour 2 jours après ! Nous avons bénéficié de 10% de réduction
La sortie est plus longue, moins intense par rapport à celle des dauphins mais tout aussi fantastique. Telmo, notre skipper, a été au top, maîtrise l'anglais et nous fait partager ses connaissances de la côte de Ferragudo à Praia da Marinha.
Merci à toute l'équipe de Wildwatch Algarve pour l'accueil, le professionnalisme et leur bonne humeur, en particulier à Lucía qui parle très bien français !

Wir hatten die Katamaran Tour gebucht und hatten richtig schöne vier Stunden auf dem Wasser. Leider keinen Wind. Der captain und der Skipper haben jedoch das beste daraus gemacht und uns einen unvergesslichen Urlaubstag beschert. Nur zu empfehlen

They make sure you see dolphins or else they give you half the money back. However the boat trip to see the dolphin kills your back. Would never recommend it to anyone with back problems. They should actually warn customers so that customers with a spinal problem can avoid it

The trip was good. We saw many dolphins. However, I have never received the video from a trip. I am disappointed. I didn't took any pictures because I though I will have a video. Even though I wrote to them, they did not send it.

First I wanted to go for some cheap tours but I'm glad I found the great one, organized by people who want to preserve the nature the way it is. We watched lots of dolphins playing the fisherman's net and ride alone the waves. The guide is a marine biologist, she explained what types of dolphins are there and what we saw at the end of the trip over the lovely coffee/tea reception. It's worth every bit of the money, esp go to the responsible people towards nature.

The people who organize the dolphin watching trips really care for the animals and they'll try to show them as they work together with the local fishermen. Afterwards we received the video of our trip without having to pay extra for it.

While I am usually suspicious about whale/wildlife tours, Wildwatch Algarve really delivered. We went out for about 20 sea miles and found a larger group of dolphins. The crew shared a lot of insights about the animals and the ocean. Our daughter enjoyed it like all the other kids on board.

We went with them for the cave tour and dolphin watching. The cave tour goes past all beautiful caves with a thrill ride back. The dolphin watching tour was booked for 2 hours, but was almost 3 hours, because the dolphins were hard to find this day. We had a nice high tea afterwards showing us the camera footage. This is not a money machine, but these are very friendly and passionate people. Would recommend everyone. Be sure to bring a warm jacket when going out on the sea because the boat goes really fast.

Wir haben vor einigen Wochen eine 3-stündige Bootstour mitgemacht. Wir wurden freundlich begrüßt und mit Jacken ausgestattet (hatten wohl mal wieder nicht genau gelesen, denn die Info stand anscheinend in der Buchungsmail :-)
Das Boot war super! Sehr neu, sauber, schnell! Mit Vollgas sind wir aufs offene Meer gefahren und mussten dann lange Geduld haben. Aber auch der Ausblick und die Geschwindigkeit waren toll. Als ich schon fast damit abgeschlossen hatte, sahen wir plötzlich etwa 10 Delfine. Wir sind einige Zeit mit ihnen übers Wasser gedüst, konnten viele Fotos machen und das Schauspiel genießen. Wir haben uns super betreut gefühlt und waren ganz überrascht, dass wir abschließend noch mit einer reich gedeckten und liebevoll arrangierten Kaffeetafel zurück an Land begrüßt wurden und dort die Unterwasseraufnahmen angucken konnten.
Ein rundum perfekt durchgeplantes Erlebnis, mit Experten, die auch Themen wie Umweltverschmutzung und Überfischung ernst nehmen und darüber informieren!
Und Delfine in freier Wildbahn zu sehen ist einfach ein Geschenk... Ein super Vormittag! Danke!

GEWELDIG een centrum wat begaan is met de dieren, mocht je niets spotten dan krijg je je geld terug of mag je nog een keer mee. Leuke afsluiting met een filmpje en informatie over de dieren op zee en de milieu gevaren onder genot van een high tea. Het filmpje krijg je later thuis gestuurd. AANRADER!!!

Top dolphin watching cruises, skipped by friendly and passionate marine biologists. I've ride with them a few times to open ocean and every single one was different and in some way special. My kid love them.

I went dolphin watching from here a couple of years ago and it was fantastic. The Inflatable Gemini boat ride was exhilarating and took us miles out into the open sea. The crew were in constant contact with other crews and we soon found our first pod of dolphins. They were terrific, and put on a great playful display for us. We found three pods that day and a shark too. The day couldn't have been better. Sea sickness wasn't an issue because doesn't roll or pitch due to the speed it travels. I'm booking a group for April this year and I know it will blow them away.
