Exceptionnelle visite de 3h à travers la lagune et les canaux de la Ria Formosa en compagnie de Jaime, notre capitaine! Jaime est passionné par son métier (très bon pilote) et grand amoureux de la nature ! Jaime fournit une quantité incroyable d'explications sur les marées, les composantes de la faune, la vie des pêcheurs, l'histoire de la lagune! C'est un puits de savoir incroyable, et pourtant très humble, qui agrémente la balade! Jaime est soucieux de faire plaisir à ses passagers, laisse le temps nécessaire pendant les escales pour visiter les points de chute et ne regarde jamais sa montre! L'excursion permet d'accéder à des endroits tels des paysages de cartes postales, fantastiques plages de sable fin sur fond d'eaux turquoises! Le travail des fermiers et des pêcheurs jalonne l'excursion et permet de mieux comprendre le rythme de ces hommes! Merci Jaime pour cette journée inoubliable et pour ta gentillesse! A ne surtout pas rater si vous êtes en Algarve!

Die 3h Tour war Englisch, Französisch und Spanisch, das war zu viel. Hatten 1 Kormoran gesehen. Auf dem Boot noch ein vertrocknetes Seepferdchen. Wir wurden 20 Min. auf einem schönen Strand und 40 Min. in einer Siedlung abgesetzt. Es gab keine Getränke.

Muchas gracias Jaime por ese fabuloso paseo por la Ria de Formosa. Esperamos que esa maravilla dure en el tiempo y algún día podamos volver a repetir contigo ese maravilloso recorrido. Nos encanto toda la información que nos trasmitiste tanto de la fauna como de la historia de la ria. Sin duda recomendamos el paseo y a Jaime como capitán.

Všetko ok, akurát nám chvíľu trvalo, kým sme sa zorientovali v cestovnom poriadku, cenníku a pod. Keď sa vraciate z ostrovov na pevninu, príďte do prístavu s predstihom. Vraj sa bežne stáva, že ak prídete na poslednú chvíľu, na palubu sa už nezmestíte.

EXTRA. Jaime, le guide , est vraiment professionnel. Il connait parfaitement la RIA FORMOSA. Amoureux de la nature il vous faire découvrir les oiseaux comme rarement nous avons connu et nous voyageons beaucoup. Ne regarde pas sa montre donc une ballade de 3 h peut durer plus longtemps.

El capitan del barco supersimpatico y muy atento. Se ha portado muy bien con nuestro hijo y le dejo llevar hasta el barco. Una experiencia inolvidable. El pescado que comimos en isla el faro muy buwno y fresco. Se lo recomiendo a todo el mundo y un 10 para el capitan.

Wir hatten eine tolle 3h-Bootstour. Wir hatten uns sehr spontan entschlossen und Maria hat uns am Stand sehr freundlich und zügig geholfen, dass wir noch auf das letzte Boot am Vormittag steigen konnten. Skipper Henry hat die Tour super geleitet, viel spannendes erzählt und einen persönlichen Eindruck von Ria Formosa und den Inseln vermittelt. Sehr empfehlenswert

Mit „Skipper“ Miguel waren wir für gute 3 Stunden an einem heißen August Vormittag unterwegs, zuerst im Hafen von Olhao, auf der Culatra Insel sowohl am Strand als auch am Hafen zum Schwimmen & Spazieren. Bei Ebbe konnten wir sehen oder sogar anfassen was sonst meist tiefer unter dem Wasser liegt: Muschel, Seeanemone, Seegurke, Seepferde ... Miguel führte uns sehr freundlich und informativ wie durch ein begehbares Aquarium, unser 7 jähriger Sohn war begeistert vom Ausflug. Danke an Miguel!

Our boat tour which was supposed to last 3h, turned out to be almost 4,5h awesome trip! Joao was super friendly, in love with Olhao area which is his familys area for decades, and was very informative. Places we visited were breathtaking, thanks for that time Joao! 120% satisfied!

We did a 5 hour boat tour with Captain Henry. His enthusiasm and knowledge for the area was highly admirable, and contributed to the great atmosphere onboard. Would definitely recommend doing a boat tour with Sabino (I'd say it's a must do) if you're visiting The Algarve!

We very much enjoyed our dolphin watching boat trip. The captain was very informative regarding the local area, environment and animals and we saw large and amazing pod of dolphins (possibly around 50/60). An amazing experience and definitely worth doing. After the excitement of seeing such a large number of dolphins in the wild, we took a break at one of the beautiful island beaches and saw chameleons. All in all, a very memorable trip for the whole family. I would definitely recommend it.

Nous avons passé une excellente journée avec Joao.
Nous avons été agréablement surpris car suite à une annulation de 7 personnes, la journée a été maintenue. Le bateau était rien que pour nous deux
Joao est très professionnel connaît par cœur ce coin paradisiaque à ne pas manquer!

Eine wunderbare Boots Tour, mit Getränke an Bord, Mittagessen auf einer Insel und einen fantastischen Skipper. Tour sollte 5 Stunden dauern ,es wurden 6 Stunden,weil der Skipper diese Tour mit Leidenschaft geführt hat. Einfach nur zu empfehlen.

INCONTOURNABLE. Excellente excursion aujourd'hui. Nous n'avions pas prévu de réaliser ce tour mais ne nous regrettons absolument pas. Le tour restera un souvenir inoubliable. Merci à Joao pour le partage de sa passion et sa disponibilité ! Je recommande grandement!

Leuke boottocht. Goed georganiseerd met een gids die echt de moeite deed om het goed uit te leggen aan de mensen. Enige minpunt was dat er vooraf gezegd werd gratis drinken aan boord, maar na het 4e pilsje ( 30 cl )op een tocht van 3 uur kreeg je te horen dat het geen open bar is.

Wij hebben n fantastische dagtour gehad van merr dan 5uur met Kapitein Henry...De uitleg was goed ..Ria Formosa is nog steeds n paradijs...
Zeker n aanrader voor verjaardag of om zomaar te genieten!

Wir hatten die 5 Stunden Tour, mit Mittagessen, gebucht. Unser Skipper, so wie auch die ganze Tour, waren einfach TOP. Der Skipper erklärte alles sehr ausführlich und war mit Begeisterung dabei. Er machte uns auf Dinge aufmerksam an der wir vorbei gelaufen wären. Auch das Mittagessen war sehr sehr gut und abwechslungsreich. Man konnte unter verschiedenen Sachen auswählen. Wie gesagt nur zu empfehlen.

I would give 4.5 if I could. The tour guide was great! Presenting in 3 languages to variety of participants (English, French and Portuguese) and was really entertaining.
The trip itself is fun, the islands are rather interesting than beautiful, even though they have their magic. Our problem was that majority of the islands in the area had a green seaweed everywhere so you couldn’t really enjoy the swimming.
Part of our 5 hours trip was a stop in the restaurant. The food was good, just not mind blowing or anything. I think the fish dishes could have been done better but I see that as person who works in catering industry.
That being said the amount food was overwhelming and one desert in particular which is some sort of Portuguese version of tiramisu. Super delicious.
Overall good way how to spend a day. One thing to be definitely aware are the toilets. Women has two cabins and men has only one small room that has a seat and a bidet so unless you are family members who don’t mind sharing.... The capacity of the restaurant is by my guess about 200 people so you can imagine the queues.

Great experience! We did a boat tour in Faro with Sabino and we will do it again. The boats are good and also the staff is friendly and helpfull. At lunch time we went to one Island and had an amazing Robalo for main dish! Thank you guys!

Vandaag de toer van 1,5 uur gedaan. Was echt geweldig onder leiding van schipper Henry. Hele mooie dingen gezien en alles erg goed georganiseerd. Helemaal top!

Zuerst dachte ich: wow, 40 Euro für eine Delfintour, andere fahren schon für 25 Euro raus. Nun ja, 2 x a 25 Euro raus gefahren, keine Delfine gesehen. Heute nun ein toller Skipper (Joāo oder Jorge?), tolle Erklärungen in mehreren Sprachen, großes bequemes Boot, und er hatte super Verbindungen zu anderen Skippern.. und wir haben sie gesehen! Unglaublich viele Delfine, eine riesen Gruppe, egal wo man hin schaute! Jeder Cent ist hier angebracht . Keine Hetze, alles lief ruhig ab, es waren perfekte Stunden auf dem Atlantik. Nächstes Jahr bin ich wieder dabei! DANKE

Je confirme bien grands nombre de commentaires aujourd’hui avec ma femme et mes deux filles de 4 ans et 14 mois pour la balade de 5 h avec le repas nous avons passé une superbe journée ! Henri est tout simplement un amoureux de son environnement ça se voie et il le partage très bien ! Anglais portugais et même français ! Donc si besoins il est disponible sachant que les informations durant la balade sont très intéressantes ! Le repas franchement bien dans un très jolis cadre mais j’en dis pas plus à vous de découvrir mais je referais sans hésiter ! Merci à toute l’équipe !

Franchement, je ne suis pas genre à faire des croisières touristiques seulement, pour visiter le Ria Formosa et les îles composant la lagune, nous n'avons pas le choix.
Mon dévolu s'est jeté sur cette compagnie un peu par hasard grâce aux avis google.
Et bien c'est une chance de l'avoir fait, nous avons pris la formule avec le déjeuner et les 5 h...
Vous en avez pour votre argent mes amis, la visite détaillée par Joao était passionnante, cet homme est formidable d'humanité, il a été au petit soin avec nous, a écouté les demandes de chacun et à composé avec le désir de tous.
Le repas était tout fait correct, prenez le poisson !
Pas de dauphins mais de belles rencontres

Ich war schon 2x dabei mit verschiedenen Skipper. Top Führung, sehr kompetenter und freundlicher Umgang. Preis-Leistungsverhältnis hervorragend. Ich empfehle die Tour für 55€ ->5 Stunden inkl Getränke auf dem Boot. Alles dabei mit super Essen im Restaurant. Die Skipper sind mit Leib und Seele dabei. Man spürt die Begeisterung und Leidenschaft der Mitarbeiter. Ich werde beim nächsten Urlaub wieder buchen:) Hoch verdient

Wil je een boottocht boeken in natuurgebied Ria Formosa, doe dit dan bij de vriendelijke en Nederlands sprekende verkoopster van Sabino Boat Tours in Olhão.
Wij hebben genoten van een 3 uur durende boottocht met de vriendelijke en enthousiaste schipper Henry. Hij vertelde in goed Engels veel over het natuurgebied, de schelpenvangst, de eilanden met hun Flora en Fauna, cultuur van de bewoners en de geschiedenis van dit gebied.
We hebben 2 stops gemaakt op het eiland Culatra, een op het rustige strand waar we de mogelijkheid hadden te zwemmen en een in het haventje van Culatra.
Vriendelijkheid alom, de tijd is omgevlogen. Zeker een aanrader als je in Olhão bent.

Comfortable boat, small group and a guide that loves his region and shares his knowledge about the history, nature and lifestyle of Olhão. We booked a day before and there was only space left for a short 1.5 hour trip unfortunately. Jame was a nice guide and Sabino's team does great work to showcase the best of Ria Farmosa and Olhão. Wir hatten mit den Kindern die dolphin Tour gemacht. Es war sehr beeindruckend wir hatten bereits nach 20min die ersten Delphine ums Boot herum. Personal und Organisation war sehr gut. Vorab telefonische Reservierung zu empfehlen, da die Tour immer morgens um 8uhr beginnt.
Vor allem im Juli und August ist die Wahrscheinlichkeit die Tiere draußen anzutreffen sehr hoch.

This boat trip was excellent
Our guide Henry was very positive and energetic and made the trip really fun and exciting.
He was very nice and told us all about the history of the ria. He provided an insightful overview of the local ecology and to top it all off, he sometimes stoped and let us explore the area like the desert end and the fisherman village
Definitely my favourite boat trip so far
Please do give it a go as it is by far the best and superior to the local competition, whom perhaps do not have such an earnest love of the local area.

We did the 1.30 hour boat tour. The tour was well organised, the guide (James) was lovely and the boat was very comfortable with shade. Plus, there were complimentary drinks

Nous avons pris le tour de 5h avec le repas compris.
Jaime, le capitaine est tout simplement génial. Il parle très bien le français et l'anglais. Il nous explique pleins de choses, sur la mer, les poissons, la ville d Olhao.
Il est, en plus, extrêmement gentil.
Le repas était très bon, vue sur la mer! Vin, petits apéros, plats, desserts et café !
C'était tout simplement parfait !! Nous recommandons vraiment Sabino Boat Tours !

I have been in a 3 house trip today and totally loved the experience. The skipper, Daniel, had lots of knowledge about the history of olhao and ria formosa. We start with an history lesson and after I had the chance to take a swim at the culatra island - completely desert island - and then we stoped about half an hour at the town of culatra to walk around and see the surroundings. The Sabino tours have several prices and diferente yours, I’m doing the 5 hours tour tomorrow that include a stop for lunch at farol island ! Looking forward to that experience. Congrats ! We did the dolphin trip with Henry. Early morning start so a bit chilly speeding out to sea. Fantastic experience - managed to follow a family group for the half hour allowed. Dramatic change in Rio formosa on return to port. Definitely recommended.

Capt Henry is the best. Skillful, professional, knowledgeable and caring. We didn't just have a nice afternoon boat ride. He explained the areas fishing industry and showed us the process from sea to shore. It helped us appreciate the areas culture and how important the estuary is to the life and ecology of the area. He also showed us various birds and sea creatures. We stopped and walked a beautiful empty beach and also a unique fishing community. The boat had binoculars to use and even included beverages! Don't miss this tour, it's worth every penny and more.

On 12th October we took a 3 hour boat tour around the Ria Formosa, stopping at Coultra and a desert island where we could swim, paddle or just shell seek. From start to finish, which incidentally lasted well over the 3 hours, we were entertained by a fantastic guide. Henry was very informative, friendly and helpful, we could not fault either him or the trip as a whole. Definitely one to recommend and one that we will do again. Thank you.

Genial para coger el Ferry a las Islas de Armona, Culatra o Farol. Está muy bien de precio y no tarda mucho en llegar a las islas, unos 20min a Armona, 30min a Culatra y 40 a Farol. En verano hay varios horarios al día para que puedas disfrutar al máximo de estas islas paradisiacas... Si coges la vuelta a última hora podrás disfrutar de las estupendas puestas de sol sobre el horizonte.

Great experience. Highly recommended. We had a tour boat with "Captain Henry" who was very friendly and shared his knowledge about the Ria Formosa during the visit we made between the islands. Excellent boat for about 10-12 people. Drinks were offered. We had a snorkeling dive (mask and tube provided) to look for seahorse, then we had the chance to view several migration and local birds with the provided binoculars. Henry left us (as we requested) at Ilha do Farol where we went to the beach and came back on the ferry. The best day we've had in a while.

The boat tour was the best day of our holliday. The nature is beautiful there and João gave us a very good impress of the landscape and the culture.
The next time we are in Portugal we will definitely join this tour!
