Sadly didn't get to see any dolphins (just one of those things unfortunately), but had a beautiful few hours exploring the caves and coastline of the Algarve. If you're happy to have a more "thrilling" boatride thats lower to the water, go on one of the "Insonia" boats, which is what we were on. This let us get into some of the caves that the bigger boats wouldn't. 30 EUR for a 2 hour excursion was definitely worth the money in my opinion.

Really good tour, brings you around the coastline and stops almost at ever stop to tell you some information and allows time to take pictures. For the last hour or so they bring you out further to look for dolphins, which we were lucky enough to see. However, just incase there is come confusion the boats dont actually bring you into any caves.

Great trip even if we didn't see the dolphins. The guys on board were great. We had our disabled brother with us and they ensured he boarded and disembarked safely.

Magnífico paseo por la bahía y las cuevas, aunque no pudimos ver delfines, pero al ser animales salvajes es normal, la tripulación super amable y atentos a todo, sobre todo dani el marinero gran persona y buena charla que tuvimos, volveremos en un futuro, saludos

This was the most wonderful experience of Algarve. The tour guides were so cheerful, polite and informative about every point of destination. We also got to see the dolphins and it was splendid. I truly recommend this trip with Dream wave.

Vandaag een boottocht gemaakt en dolfijnen gezien vlakbij de boot en daarna langs de rotskust van zuid Portugal gevaren met zijn mooie kliffen en grotten. Een hele vriendelijke gids, Pedro, die veel wist te vertellen en ruime aandacht had voor iedereen. Kortom, een paar hele mooie uren op de boot Insonia. Een aanrader!!

We hebben dolfijnen van dichtbij gezien.

Dat moet je echt in Albufeira in Portugal zeker doen.....

35€ x 3 - bateau de taille moyenne (pas le Dreamer, ni le petit "jaune"). 14h30 Le guide nous annonce que les dauphins sont en libertés, donc qu'il est possible que nous ne les verrons pas. ça tape, ça saute, le client au rang devant est détestable. 5-6 arrêts pendant la première heure. Le "commandant" est un sacré pilote. Une heure au large. le client toujours aussi détestable. Il se prend le bec avec le "commandant". Une seconde d'inattention est le dos se froisse. Dauphins absents. 2h00 mal aux fesses, dos froissé, 12 photos, vêtements un peu trempés. Point positif, nous avons pris l'air et des couleurs ;-)

Super om met deze boot mee te gaan. Goed engelse uitleg tijdens de vaart en adembenemende locaties worden gezocht en daarna op zoek naar dolfijnen. Aanrader

Prachtige trip langs de kust van de Algarve. Heel mooi om dolfijnen in hun natuurlijke omgeving te zien. Ze komen bizar dicht langs de boot zwemmen.

We experienced “Caves and Dolphin Watching Cruise from Albufeira” in the big boat. We absolutely loved this tour. We think it is a MUST. The beaches we saw were incredible. Stunning landscapes. We were so lucky we got to see the dolphins and it was an unforgettable experience. If you come to Algarve you must take 2 hours for this tour. Amazing! We took it during winter, when usually there is not much to do in the area ant this was a highlight!!! Remember to bring sunblock and glasses!

Excellent value for money, saw dolphins and caves, totally different angle on Algarve, boat crew was friendly and knowledgeable, highly recommended, spent €35 for a single ticket and it was money worth spent every cent.

Barco pirata decepcionante por lo que piden, ruta de 2 horas... donde los "capitanes perdian el tiempo a puerto para que pasen, en un barco de vela de madera pero yendo a motor. No repetiría. Quizás otras salida en barco merecen más la pena.

Great trip and good views during it. We took the small boat thay can go inside the caves, it took 2 hours, we didn't find dolphins but had a great time with the crew. It's possible to take phones qnd cameras as water almost didn't reach inside at all.

Booked the Dolhpin/caves tour and a jet ski ride. Both were fun and worth the money. Especially the jet ski ride: very good explanation and no feeling of time stressing (we had 15 mins but it felt longer).

This is a good tour for your first day. They give a great overview of the various beaches and point out where you can get kayaks. Note - the only way to get to the beach inside the Benagil cave is by kayak or swim, so don't be disappointed when the boat doesn't go right in. The boat is fast and feels like your skipping on the water. The 2 hour tour goes by quickly

I’ve had the Insonia-caves and dolphin cruise and I can highly recommend it. The cruise took 2 hours. It starts with the dolphins seeing and we were lucky to be able to see dolphins. And it then continues with a gorgeous cruise along the Algarve coast where you will enjoy the coast sights, hidden beaches and beautiful unique caves. The crew is absolutely great! Experience worth it!

Nous avons fait l'excursion grotte et dauphin sur 2h à bord de leur bateau rapide dreamer et nous avons eu la chance de voir des dauphins ! La visite des grottes n'est pas complète car se bateau est assez gros mais il ont aussi de plus petites embarcation qui eux en sont capables ! Enfin tout cas très bon moment !
Par contre l'anglais est de rigueur car le guide fait toutes la visite et les explications en anglais

Bardzo miła i pomoca obsługa. Wszystko tłumaczą cierpliwie i zrozumiale. Rejs jest warty zapłaconej ceny. Doznania są nieziemskie. Przepięknie plaże, wynisłe klify, zjawiskowe groty. Obsługa aktywnie uczestniczy w wycieczce. Z zaangażowaniem opowiają o napotkanych atrakcjach. Fajne jest to, że pozwalają sterować łódką. Minusem jest to że nie zawsze trafia się na delfiny. Niemniej jednak spojrzenie na klify wynagradza te braki z nawiązką. Wszystko to sprawia, że warto także zobaczyć.

You will get a lot for your money. We paid 35€ pp (adults) for the 2h "dreamer" tour. First of all we had the possibility to wait for the arrival of the boat in a nice bar, adjacent to their booking desk. The team is friendly and very well organized. We visited the caves all along the cost, from Albufeira to Benagil. The spectacle is truly amazing. The team even offered us jackets during the trip as people we getting cold. After the caves, we went far offshore to see dolphins. Once spotted (we very quite lucky), we followed them slowly and could take pictures and videos of them. During the trip, the guide gave us interesting explanations about the special locations we stopped to see. Even though it was quite a touristic activity, we will keep a very good memory from it. Excellent opportunity to see the best caves along the coast and, with a little luck, dolphins.

Via tui hier een excursie geboekt om dolfijnen en grotten te bekijken, was echt super gaaf! Werden voor de deur van ons appartement opgehaald (koste €4 extra o.i.d. dus zeer goed te doen). Wij waren op de boot insonia, heel erg vriendelijke jongens op de boot die behoorlijk veel uitleg gaven. Voor de mensen die het koud hadden waren er jassen aan boord. Dolfijnen hebben we gezien (de rit voor ons niet dus wij hadden geluk) en de grotten waren ook super mooi om te zien. Al met al een super leuke ervaring, het is redelijk prijzig maar het was zijn geld dubbel en dwars waard!

We went with the insomia tour to see caves and dolphins. Boat was comfortable and fun to speed. However, seeing the caves was a bit disapointing. Didn't had much time to take pictures. Would be nice if you stop somewhere and get out of the boat. Sadly, we also didn't see any dolphins.

Åkte Dreamer tillsammans med två småbarn (3 och 5 år). Besättningen ombord var väldigt trevliga, pedagogiska och måna om barnen. Väldigt mycket vind i ansiktet när de drog på i början av turen som tog ca 20 minuter, vilket 3-åringen tyckte var lite jobbigt. Men när vi kom fram till delfinerna och grottorna... Wow! Både vi och barnen blev alldeles till oss. En upplevelse som inte går att jämföra med något annat. Just den här båten fungerar dessutom helt ok med småbarn. Kan inte annat än rekommendera denna tur varmt!

Ha sido genial, hemos visto delfines en libertad, y los dos tripulantes han estado muy atentos y pendientes de todo. Éramos los únicos que no hablamos inglés y nos lo han explicado en Portugués despacio para que lo entendiéramos. Un lujo.

These guys were thorough professionals. Fun friendly and funny.
Boat was top class, safe and whilst the weather conditions were good on the day, it wasn't the least bit bumpy at speeds.
I am a disabled person in a wheelchair and the chaps (Pedro 1 and 2) could not have been more helpful.

We have just returned from the most amazing trip, the staff were excellent and told us about the beautiful caves and local legends. The captain made sure we had fun and skipped across the ocean, riding the waves to everyone's delight. But the highlight was seeing the shole of bottle nose dolphins, such an incredible experience, I will never forget it! Worth every penny!

War super. Die Mitarbeiter an Bord sind sehr nett. Wir haben auch Delfine gesehen. Die Fahrt entlang der Küste ist toll. Man hat einen schönen Blick auf die Höhlen. Ausserdem sieht man die Küste mal von der Meerseite. Das Boot ist ziemlich schnell. Es wird auf portugiesisch und englisch erklärt.

Don’t get wrong the team were nice. But nowhere was it mentioned the boat was a speedboat. We sat upfront and took most of the hits and jumps, was not fun. He drove the boat really fast, two people puked at the front.
Apart from the extreme speed, was enjoyable when the boat was moving slow.

Great experience for all the family. The boat is modern, comfortable, super fast with toilet facilities and an amazingly helpful and friendly crew, who cared for our every need and were brilliant with the children. They take you up close and personal with some of the most famous South coast landmarks and gave spectacular views of dolphins.

Dream wave propose des tours en bateau, speed boat.... pour visiter les cotes de l algarve.Très bien reçu par les personnes du stand qui mettent tout en œuvre pour parler plusieurs langue. La visite dure 2h. Tout est bien rodé, nous restons que très peu de temps sur chaque site mais suffisant pour prendre des photos. Au retour, à la recherche des dauphins. Nous avons eu la chance d’en voir 6 mais cela reste très aléatoire.

Wij hebben het dolfijn spotten gedaan met dreamwave. Spijtig genoeg hebben we geen dolfijnen gezien :( Maar hiervoor geef ik niet een 1 ster rating. De mensen die met de boot reden waren echt ongeïnteresseerd. Ze waren constant op hun smartphone bezig. Echt niet aangenaam.Ze spotten dus niet de dolfijnen maar hun gsm!

Imprescindible si vas al Algarve . Cogimos el barco dreamer, una lancha grande que va a gran velocidad, vimos delfines y las cuevas, todo precioso. El personal súper amable, habló en inglés, portugués y español. Sin duda, merece la pena, nos pareció caro al principio (35 e por persona) pero compensa totalmente.

Keine Delfine.... Und das wurde uns ganz lapidar bei der Einfahrt in den Hafen gesagt. Obwohl uns vorher versichert wurde "ja wir stehen in Kontakt und sehen heute auf jeden Fall welche". Schon klar wild animals und so. Aber wie das gehandhabt wurde war nicht toll. Man hätte einfach vorher zurückhaltend sein können, dann wäre es nicht so enttäuschend gewesen. Die Steilküste und die Caves waren zugegebenermaßen schön. Aber da sind dann auch immer viele Boote gleichzeitig. Massenabfertigung.

Más de dos horas navegando. Vimos delfines al adentrarnos en el mar y luego las famosas cuevas. Precioso todo. Para repetir!!
Hay varias opciones de navegar. En nuestro caso lancha más grande, rápida, más navegado y mar adentro (unas 40 personas). Existen otras más pequeñas que se introducen más en las cuevas. Aún así la nuestra llegó a las más espectacular.

Fiz o passeio para ver os golfinhos e as cavernas e fui muito bom. Primeiro fomos ver os golfinhos o que foi um pouco decepcionante em relação ao tempo que ficamos lá, foi muito rápido, pudemos sim ver os golfinhos mas tive a impressão de que ficamos poucos minutos lá. Em seguida fomos ver as cavernas o que é lindíssimo. Fui em um barco pequeno e como era muito rápido foi bastante frio e incomodo o até chegar lá. Tudo muito rápido também, tanto que o passeio é de 2 horas e contei que saímos e voltamos pra Marina em 1h40. De qualquer maneira foi lindo e recomendo.

Menuda experiencia! Vimos delfines nada más salir, él capitán fue directo a ellos. Luego la visita a las cuevas y costa. La visita no incluye baño pero es que en dos horas no da tiempo a todo.

Nos ha encantado la experiencia, hemos ido hoy 24/08/19 en la lancha "insomnia" a las 11 de la mañana y hemos podido ver ha sido maravilloso!!! 2 horas que han pasado muy deprisa y a la vez intensas y disfrutadas, gracias al guía y el capitán que han sido muy amables. Volvería a repetir experiencia con esta empresa sin dudarlo!!

Muy buena experiencia. El personal de la lancha (cogimos la opcion de una lancha insonia para 12 personas) muy agradables y simpáticos. Llegando al puerto la tripulación paró un momento a retirar una bolsa de plástico que flotaba en el agua... de 10!!! Repetiría la experiencia con ellos.

Une ballade très sympa de 2H. Sur un gros bateau plutôt rapide donc de bonne sensation au rdv. Rencontre avec les dauphins super sympa !
Passage dans la grotte de Benagil... le bateau rentre dans la grotte pour que l'on puisse faire des photos. On découvre aussi plusieurs autres grottes ou récifs avec des explications.
Guides sympathique.
Visite en portugais et en anglais.

Muy buena experiencia las cuevas con avistamiento de delfines. Una pena que la elección del idioma en la reserva no haya servido para nada pues el guía solo hablaba inglés. Yo entiendo inglés pero me molesta que no se consideren el resto de lenguas, ni tan siquiera el portugués teniendo en cuenta que estamos en Portugal.

Le capitaine du bateau met tout en œuvre pour satisfaire les passagers, leur faire voir les dauphins au plus près et les plages qui bordent la côte. En revanche, nous avons été très mal reçu à l’embarquement. Une jeune femme blonde à l’accueil qui se reconnaîtra j’en suis sure, n’a aucun respect et aucune politesse envers les clients. Inutile d’arriver à l’avance, les derniers arrivés sont les premiers à embarquer, manque cruellement d’organisation, tente de faire monter les gens sur un petit zodiac alors que ces derniers ont réservé un grand bateau... C’est vraiment dommage que nous ayons croisé le chemin de cette personne, l’excursion aurait pu être bien plus agréable sans sa présence dès le départ.

La promenade en mer rien à dire mais je ne mets qu’une étoile à cause de la petite blonde à l’entrée qui croit tout savoir mais qui en fait est inutile et qui manque d’organisation et fait embarquer les gens comme bon lui semble ( ne vous faites pas influencer elle essaie de compléter d’autres bateaux que vous ne désirez pas elle sert à rien !!!!!!!)

Esperienza molto bella con nostro figlio di un anno, con loro abbiamo fatto il tour delle grotte da Sao Rafael alla famosa grotta del Benagil. A seguire ci hanno portato a largo a vedere i delfini che si sono fatti ammirare. I ragazzi sono molto bravi e preparati! Unica pecca, ti chiedono altri 10 euro per farti acquistare la foto che ti fanno all'inizio. Puoi non prenderla, però te la danno già stampata e pronta.... Come fai a dire di buttarla!?

Very nice boat trip... it was a 2 hour ride .. we got to see the wild dolphins and then took us for a tour around the caves.. it was very beautiful... on the way back to the marina we passed by so many beaches .. kids loved it too.

Excellent ride and great tour. Saw wild dolphins and fabulous caves. Boat Captain Marcello was very professional and a great driver. Fun ride. Also rented a jet ski and it was great as well.

It was such a lovely 2hr boat ride in which we got to see the most beautiful caves and we also got the chance to see the dolphins in their natural habitat...... it was such a heart warming experience!!! However if I was to go on it again I would definitely take a jumper of some sort as when the boat get further out it does get pretty chilly but apart from that certifying was amazing!! The staff were really nice and helpful.... they have a lot of information out about the area!!

Très bon rapport qualité prix, bateau confortable visite des grottes la première heure puis nous sommes partis au large voir les dauphins qui étaient au rendez vous !! Magnifique mais nous sommes restés à peine 10 min, nous aurions aimé rester 10 min de plus car nous sommes arrivés 15min avant l'heure prévue à la Marina.

We did see dolphins, the fast ride is great, but the caves and coastline is disappointing due to this size boat is not going into a lot of caves, not spending time/fitting to go between the rocks, for a family of 4 paying 140 euro it is a lot of money for a 2 hour tour. The Benigal cave is overly crowded with boats, kayaks, SUP's and swimmers, amazing that not a lot of people get hurt. Also close to Albufeira I felt that the boat endangered a group of kayaks, making a lot of waves close to the rocks.

Fabulous !!!! Nous avons passe 2 heures avec Juan ! Il etait super gentil ! Nous avons vu des dauphins et de fabuleuses grottes !!! Il y a un superbe esprit dequipe et ils sont tres souriants ! Nous avons des explications sur plein de choses. Vraiment bravo a cette superbe equipe !!!!

great tour. even dolphins have seen fantastic caves and beaches. very good guide. very well organized. booked via get your guide. the departure point is easy to find. You can also park directly in the underground car park at the harbor.

We did the 2 hour Dolphin and caves boat ride.
Fantastic host on board. Explained what we would be doing before we left the harbour and what we would hopefully be seeing.
He did say that as the dolphins are wild and seeing them was not guaranteed to see them but they have a very high success rate.
We got to see loads of dolphins. They seem to love the boat and come right up to the side. Very good photo opportunities.
We then went to the caves. Lots of boats around here and it becomes a bit crowded.
Lovely views and the captain was very skilled and he needed to be as people, paddle boards, snorkels, kayaks and other boats all over in the water.
The 2 hours goes past very quickly.
Very good staff who check on everyone regularly to make sure you not getting cold or sea sick. They also let you know what you are looking at eg. Type of dolphins and so on.
Very good tour.

Una mañana entretenida. Buenas explicaciones del guía que nos explicó todo muy bien. No sabía español... Pero entre el portugués y el inglés nos entendimos bien. Merece la pena visitarlo... Mejor en las lanchas mas pequeñas que viajamos nosotros "insomnia" porque puedes acceder a las cuevas mas pequeñas donde otros barcos mayores no acceden. Yo volvería sin duda!!!!!,

Great experience to see a beautiful coast line! I chose this smaller boat instead of catamaran because the booking lady said it’ll go into more caves. Yes they took us to 3 caves but I was expecting more., the caves were amazing! Kids loved it but wanted a bit more for the price! After the coastline for about 40mins they took us to find dolphins but were not able to. They went in about 30mins but no luck. Boat ride was fast and fun and very relaxing. Different view of Algarve opposed to just land.., maybe swimming in the “access by boat” only caves/beaches would be nice as you pay 35euros pp for 2 hours and not a single dolphin to be found. Not to promote that as it’s not guaranteed always!

Ha sido una experiencia maravillosa.Tuvimos la grandísima suerte de avistar un grupo de orcas!. La costa preciosa, la travesía en el Dreamer divertidísima. Fuimos con niños y tanto ellos como nosotros lo pasamos en grande. Merece la pena sin duda.

The cave part was nice, but the dolphin didn't went so well!
We saw 2 bottlenose dolphins very close to the shore with 5 other dolphin watching boats! Too many boats around 2 dolphins, they were scared and running way! From the marine to the dolphin took us 5 minutes but the skipper didn't even try to look for other dolphin in the area. It was very bad for the dolphins! Not recommend!

Via tui de excursie grotten en dolfijnen geboekt. We werden voor het hotel opgehaald door een vervoersbedrijf wat door dream wave is ingehuurd. Chauffeur was netjes en vriendelijk. Aangekomen in de haven van albufeira werden we ontvangen en werden tickets per boot uitgedeeld. Na enkele minuten konden we boarden. Ik had het geluk dat de boot vol zat en kreeg een VIP plek naast de kapitein van de boot. Net en vriendelijk personeel gaven duidelijk uitleg in het Engels waarna we de zee opgingen. Helaas geen dolfijnen kunnen vinden maar wel diverse grotten gezien. Hierbij ook wat uitleg gekregen en voldoende tijd voor het maken van foto's! Tocht was zeker de moeite waard!

Dolfijnen gespot en vol gas naar de grotten gegaan. Gidsen spreken goed engels. Ik raad je wel aan een vest of iets met lange mouwen mee te nemen de boot op!

Vorweg, Delphine haben auch wir keine gesehen! Aber das ist halt nun mal die Natur.
Ansonsten ein wirklich tolles Erlebnis. Allein die Fahrt mit dem Boot ist ein Erlebnis. Von der wunderschönen Küste und den Höhlen garnicht gesprochen. Das ist einfach nur Traumhaft schön.
Wie schon andere erwähnt haben, für Algarve Neulinge quasi ein muss.
Sehr nette Crew, tolles Boot. Wir waren mit dem Dreamer unterwegs. Ist ein etwas größeres Jet Boot. Vorteil, die Gefahr nass zu werden ist geringer. In die Höhlen kommt man trotzdem.

O passeio foi bonito.. Tirando o resto foi uma mer.... desculpa o desabafo mas fui muito mal tratado depois do passeio. Até fazer o passeio é tudo muito bonito, depois é ficar em terra..!! Foram ao Hotel buscar.. depois de regresso tive que esperar cerca de 3 horas pelo volta. Péssima organização. Reclamei mas nada fizeram vergonhoso.. apenas pediram desculpa.. e tentaram pagar com cafés para nos calar. Obrigado e até nunca!!!

Un équipage très sympatique. Excelente ambiance durant les visites des grottes avec son pilote qui gère son bateau au millimètre. Après une heure, CAP AU LARGE. 40 minutes de recherche...... et rencontre avec une cinquantaine de dauphins. SPECTACLE MERVEILLEUX. M e r c i à l equipage.

Zaterdag een fantastische trip gemaakt vanuit Albufeira. Eerst de oceaan op en een groep van 20 dolfijnen gespot. Dankzij onze oplettende excursieleiders op de terugweg een hele grote groep dolfijnen gezien. Als eerste boot in de buurt en dus wachten op andere groepen. Niet erg want het was fantastisch een stuk met de dolfijnen mee te varen. Ook de grotten waren mooi! Een zeer leuke excursie!

€35 for a 2 hour trip, although we were out to sea for approx 2.5 hours. Tour guide was friendly and interesting. Great fun on the fast jet boat. Didn't see any dolphins.

Absolutely amazing and we got to see the dolphins while out. The two guides on the boat were very good and one of them was very good fun which made the experience even better. Would recommend to anyone.
