If you expect this to be a boring vegetarian restaurant you are in for a big surprise. Amazing all round food with an impeccable presentation. You CAN eat healthy and still enjoy your food! Filling portions and amazing staff really set this small place apart. Will come back!

Tentei visitar. Estava quase cheio na altura, mas dava para perceber que alguma pessoas estavam a pagar ( depois sair) qua.do chegamos estávamos a porta a espera que alguém da casa no fosse orientar ( pelo menos dizer que não tinham mesmo mais mesas) tive que ir ate ao balcão perguntar se tinham mesa para 3 que fosse ficar livre. Disse me para esperar que já dizia, esperei uns 10mins ate que perguntei outra vez, e a mesma pessoa disse que não. Que era melhor irmos a outro lado.

We fell in love with this little cafe! Ate here three times in the three days we were in town. Had something different each time and it was all wonderful! Their breakfast is bomb! Their drink are so tasty! And priced quite nicely! Lovely staff as well. Also have free WiFi!

Grosser Brunch: super fein, frisch und grad etwas mehr als genug für den weiblichen Hunger. Mussten eine Weile auf die Gerichte warten, aber dafür war alles frisch zubereitet. Saubere Toilette, mit Papier :). Empfehlenswert.

The food was OK, but could be made better. I had a) bruschetta with guacamole and tomatoes and b)a vegan salad with vinegar. I could prepare both dishes finer and with a lot more taste. The visual appearance of these dishes were very poor either. I saw there brunch plates - they looked much more better, that's why I recommend to better order them.

Its a nice place with cosy setting. We did not eat but just had coffee so this rating is based on coffee, solely.
I think their coffee machine is a capsule machine and they froth the milk not with steam but with the heated stirring thingy. As a result any dairy free coffee is not creamy but watery. Espresso was nice.
I would invest in a proper coffee machine if I was the owner, and use Oatly Batista for oat milk.
They have vegan options which is nice. Menu looked delicious but we did not eat so, try out yourself. :)

The breakfast is good, everything of a good quality and healthy recipies. The portion is a bit small and thus it's a bit pricey (14 eur per person).

Best place to eat in Ericeira! The food is amazing. Its really healthy and very affordable in comparison to other places in the area. Highly recommend stopping in here for a bite to eat or to try some of their great juices.

Very poor experience, first they give me duck (and I dont eat meat..) instead of tuna, and then I get the worst piece of fish I ever got served.. really poor Quality, after two bites I gave up. Sorry guys but you really should do a better job.. and when you pick up An almost full plate you ask at Least if it was ok or not..

Das Resturant bietet ein freundliches und flexibles Personal in einem Modernen und gemütlichen Ambiente. Die Speisen fallen bei einem etwas höheren Preisniveau nicht zu groß aus. Zusammenfassend ist das GIG einen gesunden Resturantbesuch für jeden Ernährungsstil von Vegan bis Fleischliebhaber wert.

Really great, homely food that's super fresh, with some local twists. Especially good for brunch and lunch and very accommodating for those with allergies etc.
Plus their sourdough bread is to die for!

We found this lovely place by accident, started with cool smoothies and ended up eating very tasty lunch main courses. Lovely Soraia, one of the service team showed me how portuguese hospitality works best by being attentive, leading a great conversation about cuisine, the place and life itself. The place is wonderfully designed and has a high awareness for excellent cuisine. Looking forward to visit it again!

Pessoal fantástico com uma boa disposição enorme! Sabem receber bem na sua terra. Sem nos conhecerem de lado nenhum mostraram-se logo super disponíveis em mostrar as suas máquinas e o seu espaço. Aconselho vivamente a conhecer este espaço se estiver de passagem pela Ericeira.

My favorite restaurant in town. Super healthy and delicious. It took a while to convince my husband to go but today I finally convinced him and he absolutely loved it. He mentioned like this he wouldn't mind to eat super healthy food everyday! The service rocks as well!

O espaço é descontraído com uma decoração em que todos os pormenores foram bem pensados. O brunch é muito bom. A única coisa a apontar é o tempo que levam a servir mas vale a espera porque é tudo muito bom. Os funcionários são simpáticos.

We were lucky and got there just as the sun was shining directly on the café. And that exact spot was probably the best place to be in Ericeira right then. We got lots of good food for a reasonable price.
On another day the waitress mixed up the order completely unfortunately. I would have cut half a star for it, but as this is not possible, I'll definitely rather go up to five than down to four!

El sitio es pequeño pero muy limpio y acogedor, muy atentos, la comida está buena, sobre todo un plato que pedimos de Gnocchis que estaban de muerte lenta, el precio es elevado y los platos no son muy abundantes, pero en el sitio que está y dado que la mayoría de vegetarianos son algo caros, está bien para comer puntualmente, lo recomiendo.

Hidden in the streets of Ericeira close to the beach this place offers affordable and tasty brunches and plates.
We stopped after a morning of surf and were positively surprised by the quality and presentation of the food, which has some peculiar pairings and flavours. Service is fairly quick and very kind. Prices are around 20€ per person for an abundant brunch with a couple of drinking options.

What a beaut. Huge choice, including vegan (which is really difficult to find in ericeira), Michelin level presentation, exquisite flavours, helpful staff, and good value. Our 3-course dinner for 16€ was so good we returned next day for brunch. Thank you GIG staff.

Such a great breakfast - really varied and got to try lots of different things. The items in the picture came with a fresh smoothie (or juice) and a coffee/tea.
It was a short wait for the table but well worth it. The staff were also really nice and friendly. I’d definitely go back!

Vegan here. Went there twice while I was in Ericeira for two days. Do I need to say more? Did the same 3-course meal two days in a row. Absolutely loved it all: the bruschetta (starter), the zucchini/carrot spaghetti (main course), and the raspberry ice cream brownie (dessert)!
Oh, and the staff is really nice and friendly! When I'm back in Ericeira, I'm coming by again!

Wonderful place with friendly staff, tucked away from main square. We were looking for a place for brunch in Ericiera - preferably vegetarian. GiG was the perfect find. My elder daughter and I shared the brunch platter which could not have been more satisfying.
My younger daughter even improved her orange juice pouring skills!

Gig is a good stop for brunch or lunch. The food is fresh and tasty. You definitely need to try the avocado crostini with poached egg. If you are two people then the 1l energy boost is the perfect refreshing drink.

Recentemente fui de ferias a portugal e como se diz que o melhor fica para .o fim assim o fiz e guardei a praia da ericeira para ultimo.Onde encontrei um restaurante k não estava nada a espera,encontrei o G.I.G.(Green is good).assenta k nem uma luva.Pequeno mas muito acolhedor,uma decoração simples e penso eu um pouco fora do normal cm os seus canos e musgo pendurado.o staff so pode dizer duas palavras IM.......PECÁVEL .obrigado a Soraia e a Bruna pela atenção e pelas informações cedidas.
Eu e a minha namorada pedimos um BRUNCH para 2,para o qual mandamos vimos um sumo de acai e um energy booster.qd o prato chegou era uma coisa nunca vista e graças a soraia k nos explicou o k estávamos a comer caso contrario nunca saberia.e bom ver k tão perto de uma grande cidade como lisboa ha um sitio que pensa na boa comida para uma saude melhor.ADORAMOS a experiência pois é isso k o G.I.G.é.

Fantastisch! Kleines, feines Restaurant, das uns zu 100% überzeugt hat. Relativ kleine Menukarte aber dafür sehr leckere Speisen. Sehr freundliche Bedienung. Alles sauber. Kindersitze vorhanden. Sehr zu empfehlen!

Nice waiter but overall pretty poor. Not value for money at all. My wife being vegetarian was happy to find a place that hopefully had more vegetarian options but the service was terrible slow, portions megre and expensive and the healthy drinks are a daylight robbery

Great healthy food and the service is really nice and friendly but it seems to fall apart when the place get about half full. Very stressful and staff seems to constantly be forgetting things. Once I had to go and source my own cutlery and glass for my drink, I think maybe they just need some more staff when it’s busy.

Fun small place in one of the prettier parts of Ericeira. Mixed veg and non veg menu in restaurant with open kitchen. You feel some love has gone into the concept. Food is good but nothing gourmet although we only tried one dish we will go back.

Very good! We had an tasty avocado toast with beetroot hummus. Next time in Ericeira we will definitely come back!
The dinner menu is awesome, too! Great vegetarian options and some craft beer together with a small but good choice of wine. And the waitresses were one of the kindest we had so far.

Healthy food without lacking great taste! Also very reasonable prices. Had salmon sashimi as starter and tuna steak, both very good quality and super delicious. Nothing drawn in heavy sauces and little carbs makes you feel satisfied but not as stuffed.

Un restaurant qui gagne à être connu un peu à l'écart et au calme. Il y en a pour tout le monde. Les végétariens y trouveront leur compte. Le thon est top, et la cuisson du bœuf était parfaite. Je suis plus réservé sur le brownie au haricots rouges. Il vaut mieux choisir le yogurt en dessert. Une addition à 70€ pour 4 avec apéritifs, plats, desserts et café. Je pense qu'il s'agit d'un restaurant qui vient d'ouvrir et que l'équipe est en train de ce mettre en place. Cela manquait un peu d'organisation, mais ils étaient très sympa.

I just had an amazing breakfast at GiG, juices were excellent - I recommend the mango carrot. Eggs and avo plus spinach made for a healthy meal. Nice atmosphere and service as well - certainly stop if you're in the area

Sou diabética e este foi o primeiro restaurante onde entrei, sentei, olhei para o menu e como sem culpas :) É bom voltar e conseguir comer sempre coisas diferentes, saudáveis e de qualidade. Parabéns e obrigada pelo projeto diferenciado e pela coragem. Obrigada por existirem na minha vida!
