Anytime I travel to Europe I search for Speed Queen Laundromats. Easy access & easy to use machines. This particular location in Lisbon was small & clean. After starting my machine, I realized I did not pour any detergent. Thank goodness for “Clarel” across the street. I was able to buy detergent & softener for the 2nd wash cycle. Clarel is a mini mart with beauty & cleaning supplies. Major plus!

Com estes dias que teimam em não secar roupa, as máquinas secadoras gigantes são a melhor coisa!!! Com 5 euros consigo praticamente secar a roupa toda usada na semana. Por ser ao pé de casa, tenho esta lavandaria como nº1 e irei lá definitivamente mais vezes!!

Easy to use and enough machines so you don't have to wait long. The signs and machines have directions in Portuguese and English. There are 5-6 washers and 4 dryers of varying prices. There's a vending machine with single use packets of detergent and softener, each €1. You can easily do a week's worth of laundry for €10.
