This business misrepresented their products as being genuine leather. Firstly, they were really pushy to get me to buy a pair of shoes. I settled on a cute pair of shorty boots. The woman that served me swore up and down that I was getting genuine 'excellent Portuguese leather'. When I returned home and was protecting the boots, I became a little suspicious when the protectant beaded off. Sure enough, they are vinyl. Buyer beware of businesses that take advantage of unsuspecting tourists.

Excellent value, excellent selection. Purchased a nice pair of leather dress shoes and a pair of wedge sandals, at regular price and 50% off respectively. Nicely organized sale selection - they write the sizes available on the price sticker. Purchases over 61 Euros eligible for 23% VAT refund - ask for a tax receipt (you'll need your passport No). Staff are friendly, non aggressive, and speak a bit of English. Definitely recommend!

My hubby and I bought shoes at 50% here. My boots cost about 35 euros. I browsed at the shoe stores along the shopping street (R. de Carmo) and mine were still much cheaper (& of higher or the same quality) than those there. Great service too.
