Hat wirklich alles völlig problemlos geklappt. Wir hatten unser Auto innerhalb von 10 Minuten . Uns wurde alles gut erklärt , auch das Gerät für die elektronische Mauterfassung wurde uns angenboten und auch freigeschalten . Es wurden alle Beträge korrekt abgerechnet. Keinerlei Probleme bei der Rückgabe des Fahrzeugs. Wir waren absolut zufrieden.

Ondanks de 'priority kaart' moet je toch we een klein uurtje wachten incalculeren, ook als je alles vooraf dus al geregeld hebt. Beetje chaotisch dus.. maar daarna geen gedoe meer en redelijk vlot in de beloofde auto weg. Soepele service!

Nightmare, horrible customer service especially after check out.
It has been a nightmare after check out. I paid for the toll system to avoid complications. Guerin tried to charge me a bigger amount on my card than the real amount for the tolls I crossed. The transaction was rejected and I received a lot of fines because, although I paid for the toll system and left a deposit, Guerin didn't charge me on time. Now they reject their responsibility so I paid for the toll system + tolls + fines.

Esperiencia muito má reservei uma viatura a gasóleo e entregaram-me uma a gasolina e afirmam que foi a gasolina depois de passar pelo mesmo problema no porto têm um site de reservas manhoso levei 1:30 para levantar o carro no aeroporto de lisboa dissem que nao têm o carro que pedi depois chego para levantar o carro ja tinham o carro que pedi autêntico descontrolo nao recomendo e já perderem um cliente

Mais de 2hs pra retirar um veículo reservado com antecedência. Impossível ficar satisfeito com o atendimento! Se soubesse na precariedade e falta de atenção aos clientes, buscaria uma loja fora do aeroporto!

Viatura excelente.
Atendimento bom, com atendente do balcão bastante simpático.
Nada de empurrar seguros quando falei que já tinha.
Cobranças até o momento corretas no cartão de crédito.
Das que usei até hoje em Lisboa essa foi a melhor.

Cobrança indevida
Cuidado fiz a reserva pela expedia , porém eles fizeram cobrança indevida no meu cartão de crédito
Usei o carro de 26/03 a 1/04 , sem nenhum problema , fiz a devolução sem problemas , porém não fizeram o estorno do saldo de aprovisionamento no cartão de crédito
Não recomendo , estou tentando reverter com a expedia e com a guerin , mas ninguém responde
Procure outra agência , não caia nessa armadilha !!!!
Infelizmente eu não pesquisei por aqui sobre a empresa , agora estou com prejuízo de 300 euros !!!
Mais uma vez estou avisando não caiam nessa empresa criminosa !!!

Unverschämte Zusatzkosten bzw. keine Rückerstattung der geleisteten Kaution, obwohl Auto vollgetankt und unbeschädigt(und Vollkasko)!
Keine Rechnung erhalten oder Erklärung!
Bitte tun Sie sich das nicht an!
Aktualisierung: nach mehrmaligem Kontaktversuch immer noch keine Antwort oder Erklärung. Hingegen kam nochmals in Dezember ( gemietet hatten wir im September) eine erneute Mautberechnung von über 20€... Einfach unverschämt und eigentlich schon kriminell.

I cannot recommend this car company:
- Guerin charged my credit card ONE YEAR later (with a modest amount of ~24 Euro), but did not tell me in advance/by email, and did not respond to multiple emails asking for clarification;
my bank would not allow me to challenge the VISA amount, as it is "car rental" and asked me to contact the company (in vain)
- Customer service is REALLY bad:
* long lines/waiting times at the airport desk, even with previous booking and pre-payment (through rental car portal)
* long walk to car pick-up, with additional waiting until car is handed over
* no response to multiple inquiries by email (see above)
So, maybe you can be a lucky customer, arriving at a quiet hour in the airport, having no trouble with the car rental, and not getting any late charges (or at least not noticing them), but I wish I had read the many negative comments about this company before.

Me chamo José Luiz Donato. No dia 11 de janeiro de 2019 fiz um aluguel de um veículo às 18h37min, no aeroporto de Lisboa, PT.
No dia 12 de janeiro às 5h da madrugada tentei ligar o veículo para levar minha família ao aeroporto e seguir viagem. No entanto, o veículo apresentou sérios problemas de ignição e soltou uma grande quantidade de fumaça. Após algumas tentativas frustradas, decidi chamar um taxi para que eu e minha família, inclusive uma criança de 12 anos, não perdêssemos o voo. Levei a chave até o balcão e relatei o ocorrido, inclusive informei que não consegui contatar o serviço 24h e não poderia aguardar o mesmo, pois poderia perder o voo, já que perdi muito tempo para iniciar o veículo.
No dia 23 de Janeiro constatei um débito no meu cartão de crédito no valor de 232,29 euros. Contatei a Guerin por telefone no dia 4 de fevereiro e fui informado que a cobrança era devido ao abastecimento com combustível errado. Relatei ao atendente que eu não fiz nenhum abastecimento e me foi informado que eu havia andado apenas 10 km com o veículo e, portanto, não poderia ter feito o abastecimento. O atendente então me informou que a Guerin devolveria o crédito ao meu cartão de crédito, por ter reconhecido que foi o cliente anterior que abasteceu com combustível errado.
Informo que até o momento o crédito não foi devolvido ao meu cartão.

Fomos muito bem atendidos pelos funcionários do check-in. A retirada e devolução do carro deu-se rapidamente. O carro foi excepcional, porém cheirava cigarro. Seria bom se separasse carros para fumantes e não-fumantes.

Het huren van een auto op een luchthaven vind ik doorgaans geen feest. Dit vormde een positieve uitzondering. Ik weet niet of dat lag aan de tussenpersoon of de service van deze maatschappij, maar het ophalen en het terugbrengen verliep vlot en zonder ellenlange discussies over verzekeringen, schades, afwijkende ophaaltijden etc.

Bardzo szybka i miła obsługa. Samochód owszem, dostałem inny niż miał być (Fiat Punto zamiast Renault Clio) ale to samochód na 1 dzień a nie auto na lata! Nie ma co robić problemu z drobiazgów:) Cały proces najmu bardzo prosty: 1. idziemy z rezerwacją do punktu w terminalu lotniska gdzie obsługa wydaje nam dokument najmu (są w nim opisane wszystkie uszkodzenia lakieru, które wypożyczany samochód już posiada, ale to że trzeba je sprawdzić przy odbiorze auta jest chyba OCZYWISTE?!:). 2. Z dokumentem idziemy 200m dalej, do budynku tuż obok głównego wejścia (działają w nim wszystkie pozostałe wypożyczalnie i tu mała uwaga: wypożyczenia są na 1 piętrze, zwroty na parterze). 3. Ktoś z obsługi prowadzi nas do auta, dostajemy kluczyki i w drogę! Zwrot jeszcze prostszy: tankujemy auto (2 stacje tuż obok lotniska), podjeżdżamy do bydynku 200m od terminalu. Pracownik robi oględziny, sprawdza czy nie nabroiliśmy, podpisujemy zwrot i po 3 minutach sprawa jest załatwiona, zwrot kaucji dostałem z samego rana. Nie wiem skąd negatywne komentarze, ja jestem bardzo zadowolony i szczerze polecam tę wypożyczalnię!

Atendimento relapso. Tentam empurrar seguro e taxas extras, apesar do valor pago no site.
Durante nosso aluguel, bateram em nosso carro e fomos trocar. A atendente, de má-vontade, insistiu que ficássemos com o mesmo pois já estava arranhado mesmo e seria melhor caso "aranhássemos" mais. Sem nem olhar a batida, disse que já tinua voltado ao normal.
O carro alugado - um SUV - era um Alhambra, de motor extremamente fraco, bem inferior às fotos principais exibidas no site. Vale o alerta!

Car return itself went smoothly. The office staff who had to sign off the contact, was not friendly at all. They were barely prepared to answer questions regarding the settlement of the road charges incurred during the rent. Instead they are giggling behind ones back when being asked for directions. Not very professional. Overall Guerin can be recommended for car rentals. It seems that it is only their branch at LIS who would require a little more attention.

Wer in seinem Urlaub lange warten möchte obwohl im vorhinein eine Zeit gebucht wurde ist bei Guerin Perfekt. Als Draufgabe gibt es dann noch saftige Kaution die nicht im Vertrag steht damit man eine Versicherung abschießen muss. Finger weg!!!!

Worst car rental I have ever experienced! It took us 5 (in words: FIVE) hours to pick up our rental car we reserved months ago. The queue went all the way to the middle of the arrival hall. When we finally got to the counter, they tried to give us a car 2 classes below of what we booked and paid for. So bad!!!
When we got to the parking lot where cars were actually handed out, there was another 1 hour wait. I must say though, that the staff really tried to make the best out the horrible situation they were put in - poor them.
Keep in mind that the rental company knows precisely how many customers will show up at which time at their airport car rental based on the cutomers’ reservations including their flight numbers.
Rather spend 50€ more for your car rental and rent from one of the other places. You can’t do worse than wirh Guerrin. And not waste your time!

Excelente carro à nossa disposição. O atendimento inicial foi muito agradável, o final tb. Faltou para a quinta estrela um melhor atendimento na retirada do carro. A atendente estava sozinha e parecia não se importar conosco.

I have been debited of my deposit without been informed.
They claim that I put the wrong fuel in the tank.
As it was 2 weeks ago, I did not keep the station bill to prove I put the right fuel!

Had a good experience here renting a car in February. Reserved through Alamo. No queues (though all rental counters were quiet at time of pick up). In the garage the car was already waiting for us. We were upgraded to an SUV at no extra costs. The car was <6 months old. Returning the vehicle went smooth as well. Only downside is that the deposit is still not returned after two weeks. Would otherwise give five stars.

I have used this company twice. The first time last summer, they made me pay the insurance twice, I mean I had to pay it whe I reserved the car online, at the airport they told that it is not valid. The second experience was last month,, they told me they would return my deposit, but they didnt, they dont answer the emails, other than that, they hakked my credit card. I wrote this comment on their wall on Facebook and for my surprise, they erased my comment and blocked me. I don't recommend this company and I won't use their service again. I could see on face book that all the comments are alike. No doubts that this is their way.

Made an online reservation to pick up a car for one day only , I did all the way from Cascais to the airport by train and metro took me like 1 hour just to get there , after speaking with the agent everything was fine with my reservation except that I don't have a credit card to pay . They didn't allow me to pay with debit. Conclusion, I left the airport with no car because they forgot to tell me on the email that a credit card is mandatory. Useless company and a massive waste of time.

Charging for a fuel refill even though the tank was filled full 200 meters from drop off. Non existant customer service, taking months to answer and not resolving the problem. Sounds much like a tourist scam.

Nao recomendo, aluguei uma carro da locadora Guerin (através do app DriiveMe-me, parecia ser incrível alugar um carro por apenas 1€) foi me falado que o caução não descontava do cartão, que era “Pré bloqueio”, assim não utilizaria o limite do meu cartão, infelizmente não foi isso que que aconteceu, foi descontado sim os 300€ de caução, do limite do meu cartão, mas até aí ok, a raiva é que já entreguei o carro e até agora não foi extornado o valor ao meu saldo do cartão. Carro com varios arranhões e não constava no checkin, cuidado, nunca mais alugo na Guerin

Very helpful. As this was our first trip to Portugal we were a bit apprehensive about renting a car and driving but the staff helped is select a better suited vehicle than the one we reserved and provided tons of information and tips to driving that really made us more comfortable. After a few days I can tell you that Portugal really is a pretty easy place to drive and the staff go out of their way to make sure you have a great experience.

Levantei o carro no Aeroporto de Faro, e paguei franquia do seguro, disseram que assim não era necessário vetificar danos no carro e não me acompanharam ao mesmo . Chego ao aeroporto de Lisboa para efetuar a entrega e querem fazer inspeção ao carro porque mesmo pagando a franquia não cobre danos no interior, nada foi explicado e o carro tinha os estofos todos sujos. Péssimo serviço.

Não tinham os detalhes todos da minha reserva, felizmente tinha tudo num e-mail, mas mesmo assim fiquei mais de uma hora a tentar resolver o problema. Durante esse tempo tentaram várias vezes aumentar o preço final porque queriam cobrar me opções já incluídas. Os empregados na zona aonde entregam os carros eram bem mais eficazes.

1.5h waiting time till we got the rental contract. Then we were sent to the car pickup location in the next building where we found another waiting queue! Overall a very frustrating experience especially considering it was in the middle of the night. This was the last time we book a car at Enterprise.

the car we got was quite all right, smelled a bit like an ashtray and had poor engine power, but it was ok. I'm very outraged with the consultant who gave us all papers at the desk. As I recall his name was Leonel. He was nice only in the beginning of the conversation, but when he tried to sell me their insurance and I told him I already had bought rentalcars's one, he started to be very very mean and at the end almost threw the papers in my face in a very impolite way....

Péssima. 40 minutos de fila para check in, outra fila de 30 minutos para retirada da chave!!! Recomendaram alugar GPS pois o carro não dispunha, no entanto pegamos o carro e o mesmo dispunha de central multimidia com GPS.

Really bad experience, got the car not completely filled up and they told me don't worry you'll get refund when you return the car full. Got no refund and they don't understand why I'm unhappy.... Looks like staff gets fines when they do errors or give refund. The person I spoke to already lost 300€ this month from her pay check.

We checked in during peak season (August). Overall they were well prepared for this: they had a ticket machine in front of the desk for getting a queue number and someone in front of the desk answering questions. Once we checked in, we got a Peugot 2008 for a car reservation of a VW Golf or similar. Would rather have gotten a car with 6 gears, but the car was brand new and in good condition, so no real complaint there.

Atendimento de péssima qualidade,ficamos 01:30 esperando para liberar o carro,depois de muito tempo o nosso carro não aparecia,pedimos para trocar,mais foi muito difícil,funcionários sobrecarregados,sem estrutura e conforto par o cliente,fila no estacinamento.

Im part of the emerald club, that is supposed to be for customer loyalty. But it is completely useless. Absolutely terrible, had to wait for 1 hours just to get to the assistant. The price is much too high and the organisation is a desaster. Don't come here. If you think are are arrived, you are mistaken.

Atendente para entrega dos carros é mal-educada com seus colegas na frente dos clientes.
Não adianta reservar cadeirinha de criança com antecedência, pois demora horrores.
Carro com problema detectado já em Lisboa. Me convenceram de que não era nada, viajei com a família e o problema veio a se confirmar no meio da viagem.
Perdi tempo da minha cara estadia no Algarve aguardando uma manutenção no veículo que já deveria ter sido feita, sem qualquer compensação por parte da Guerin.
As atendentes de Portimão não querem ouvir reclamação, apenas elogios.
Não pretendo nunca mais alugar na Guerin, Alamo e sua laia.

Even with a an online reservation, it took 2 hours to get our rental. A better system needs to be considered! For visitors who just got off a red eye and have to wait in line for 2 hours....get yourself an expresso on the main floor :/

Over booked and under staff. Waited 2 hours to pick up a reserved car. They disregarded my reservation of a Sport car and offered me a Toyota Corolla or for additional fee basically they offered a similar car as I reserved. Wow!

Alugamos um Clio e como sempre não há disponível. Nos deram um Opel que não gostamos e que a direção está puxando. Demora para pegar o carro, estava lotado. Normalmente é assim no aeroporto.

I read the others comments and was a bit worried. I shouldn't have been ! Despite the low price, I only had to wait 5 minutes at the first counter. (Avis counter had a 2 hours waiting time...). I spoke with a very nice guy, that didn't force me to take insurance or whatever. Then we moved to the place where you get your car (3 minutes walking). Again, 5 minutes max to get our car. I asked for a entry-level station wagon and got this 2.900 km old Renault Megane station wagon. It's perfect ! Thank you Guerin.

Surfacturtion, 400 euros suplémentaire et avec le sourire. A causes d'une Carte de débit parfaitement valable selon mon banquier mais pas au goût du loueur. Bref une arnaque pour les français, car nous avons majoritairement des cartes de débit. Donc à FUIR !!! et bon courage dans cette jungle.

Buon autonoleggio, arrivati la mattina presto non c'era coda. Macchina pulita e ben funzionante. Alla consegna tutto nella norma. Solo entrando nell'aeroporto abbiamo visto una fila chilometrica per gli autonoleggi..

1,5 uur wachten voordat de levering auto plaats vindt. onacceptabel !
Auto al na 1 dag in storing. 2 dagen zonder auto alvorens elders een vervangend auto beschikbaar was. Kregen oude Corsa mee. Met pijn en moeite polo meegekregen.
Kortom; pure ellende

Worst car rental experience EVER! Not sure how a company like that can still be in business.
They tried to intimidate me to pay for a super expensive car insurance, when I am already covered by my credit card.

Se é para prejudicar o cliente, a Guerin é a primeira, nem no Brasil fui tão roubado quanto por eles. Devolvi o carro antes do prazo (3 dias antes) e a Guerin não me deu os km do contrato, me cobrando a mais cada um que eu passei e além disso, não me devolveu os dias de aluguel a mais. Abuso total, fujam deles.

Awful, sexist and Rude. I started to conversation with “Hi I have a reservation” the guy at the counter then said with a condescending tone “congratulations”. And then the whole process went downhill. Not sure if it was because I was from North America, a woman, or because the reservation was through National. I have executive elite status with national and a professional for work. My company has a contract with National and they cover the insurance. The counter then proceeded to try inform me that for 300 euros more than agreed contract I would not be charged 3000 euros on two credit cards and forced to pay up front 31,000 in case anything happens to the car. I started to get annoyed knowing exactly that he was scamming me. He spoke Portuguese to his colleagues thinking I couldn’t understand his derogatory about me. I then left and went next door to Europcar, spoke to their manager and they informed me that what Guerin was doing was illegal. They were aware that Guerin does this for North Americans/ others on a regular basis. They gave me a equivalent car at 30 euros cheaper and included the toll fees. No extra deposits other than the regular rental amount. One credit card. Never go to Guerin...I was warned about the one downtown but I never had issues elsewhere in Europe.
