Some of the reviews were a little scary, but I figured I'd roll the dice and give them a shot. What a wonderful decision. No, they don't have a desk at the airport, but when I called the direct line, a live person answered and let me know he'd send the shuttle directly. Traffic was bad, so it took about 30 minutes to arrive, but the shuttle was very clean and the driver and runner were both polite and professional. Once we arrived at the center, the space was EXCEPTIONALLY clean and well-presented. FWIW, I am a person who *always* takes note of the cleanliness of floors and I marveled at theirs. Note: Regarding complaints about the insurance and deposit. I felt that the agent was thorough in explaining the coverage options and liabilities to me. Even though my credit card gives me full vehicle protection on all rentals (as long as it's not a high-end premium car), I did buy the $9/day plan through the booking website from Allianz. I was informed about the 1200€ deposit at the time of the booking (plus, I'd read it in the reviews), and the agent reiterated it, but added that this amount is waived if you purchase their insurance. The 2 different plans were 14€/day and 24€/day, a very small price, IMO. I understand the psychological opposition some people will have to paying as much or almost as much for the insurance as for the vehicle, but the peace of mind has to be worth something. And if you have driven in Lisbon, then you know having coverage is vital. If I did not already have coverage, I would have been happy to buy theirs at that price. The newish vehicle I received was practicallyspotless. The agent and I went over the entire body and windshield, noting each blemish or scratch. Update: The return was as smooth and easy as the pickup and my deposit was refunded on the spot. Needless to say, I was fully satisfied with my experience with BeneRent and will be very happy to do business with them again and again.

Fiz uma locação online e quando na retirada do veículo me cobraram uma taxa extra, superior ao valor da locação, fui enganado. Voltei para casa sem o veículo e perdi a locação de um final de semana. Só prejuízo.

I am disappointed with the service I received at benerent and the hidden fees the cropped up. I would avoid if possible.

Allow me to share with you my experience with Benerent. I am usually a very easy to deal with person, and I don't think I have ever shared a negative review before on Google. However the cost of my interactions with Benerent was five times the price I expected to pay. Allow me to elaborate: I was told there were electronic highways and saw there was a box in the car for them. I was not told that if I go through them I would be charged not only the fee for the tolls but also a huge fee for not activating the box which was already in the car. I told the rental company when talking to them that I was planning to Travel to Seville Spain. I was not told that traveling there would cost me extra money until I came back, and was slapped for a fee for that as well. I rented the car for several days and the final day I only rented the car for a 8 hours of the day yet I paid full price for the day. I was told I could bring back the car up to two hours late. I returned the car only to be told that I was only allowed to bring it back 1 hour late and was fined for that as well. Finally while in Seville my car was hit into while I was out of the car in a garage. It was a small dent on the door. The owners of the garage got the insurance details of the person who did it and gave me their card as well. When I returned to Benerent I gave them all this information and they promised me they would take care of it. However as a deposit in case something went wrong they would take a huge amount off my credit card. I contacted them several weeks later and the only reply I got was that the information wasn't good enough. I asked them if they even contacted the garage. Silence, this company treated me very poorly and I would advise all wise people to stay away from it.

Its ok But need to go outside airport, the pick up station it's outside at 4 km and they have a shuttle for do this travel. Attention to the insurance option you choose... People sympatic and correct

Best rental office ever !!! We rented a car for 2 days. We get Alfa Romeo in very good condition, we needen´t pay tolls on highways, and shuttle to airport. Everything was free. Very friendly stuff. I recommend this company.

Voiture dans un triste état, rayés de partout, l'intérieur était tâché, l'écran gps même pas nettoyer. Nous louons des voitures tous les ans et c'est la première fois que nous sommes passés par cette agence, et c'est la première fois aussi que nous avons eu une voiture aussi "pourrie". Don't recommend! If there is a damage to the car, like a scratch smaller than 0,3 inches, the company will overbill you. For instance, if you rent a basic car like Fiat Punto or Panda, a scratch smaller than 0,3 inches will cost between 120 and 160 euros (imagine if it is a better car like SUV etc). If you rent a car in a company near there, called Centauro Rent a Car, they don't consider damage scratches smaller than 2-3 inches. I don't think it's a honest policy overcharging you to fuel profit. Better rent in Centauro Rent a Car or in another company. O barato pode sair caro. Não recomendo a empresa. Caso haja algum risco pequeno, mesmo que menor de 1 cm, a empresa superfatura o valor do conserto. Exemplo: caso alugue um carro básico, punto ou panda, um risco menor de 1 cm ocasionará o pagamento de 120 a 160 euros (imagine-se num carro de maior valor ou de luxo). Na concorrente ao lado, a Centauro, existe tolerância quanto ao tamanho do dano; riscos menores de 3 cm não são considerados como danos pela empresa. Não me parece que seja escrupuloso por parte da empresa Benerent superfaturar o custo da reparação a fim de aumentar o lucro. Por isso é melhor alugar na empresa concorrente citada.

Fairly quick pick up and return. Car was washed for us (was still wet), the only small thing was that the person serving us was a little slow to complete tasks, but that was more than compensated for by the great service! Would definitely recommend

Great experience with Bene rent, super friendly crew, and great quality car! Had to transfer in the Airport to parking/office place, but that went smoothly, and maybe faster then some orher rental companies with office at Lisbon airport that I experienced before. I recomend it!

Fantastic Experience. It took some time the pick up at the airport, but arriving at the station and no lines to pick up the car was a fantastic experience. Wir haben gute Erfahrungen mit dem Verleiher gemacht. Die Shuttle verkehrt regelmäßig zum und ab Flughafen( Treffpunkt Ankunftshalle Vodafonestand)... Wartezeiteen ca. 20 Minuten- Transferzeit 10-15 Minuten. Reibungslose Abwicklung- kein Aufdrängen von zusätzlichen Versicherungsleistungen. Freundlicher Service- sehr angenehmer Chef vor Ort. wir haben einen VW Golf gebucht und einen BMW bekommen- fast neues Auto- sauber- faire Tankregelung. Das Büro liegt etwas versteckt in der Nähe des Hauptbahnhofes- Navi führt hin. Wir würden wieder Benerent buchen!

L’excuse : de ne pas avoir notifié lors de la réservation notre arrivée aux guichets alors que c’est eux qui devaient nous y amener et qu’ils n’étaient pas présent pour nous récupérer Résultat : plus de véhicule disponible à l’ouverture , comme par hasard .. et pas de possibilités de remboursement. Une arnaque donc, fuyez !

Il Portogallo è un paese che amo per le sue bellezze, la sua cucina, per la ospitalità e civiltà della sua popolazione e spesso è una meta delle mie vacanze all'estero. L'unico problema che ho avuto è stato quando con moglie,figlio, nuora e nipoti, ho deciso di noleggiare a Lisbona un'auto per visitare Oporto, Coimbra ed il nord di questa nazione. La prenotazione del noleggio è stata fatta via internet. All'arrivo all'aeroporto di Lisbona, un incaricato della Benerent ci ha portato a ritirare la vettura prenotata. Purtroppo non abbiamo controllato bene il mezzo e solo a Oporto ci siamo accorti che un pneumatico era pericolosamente consumato. D'accordo con il noleggiatore e con un suo incaricato lo abbiamo fatto sostituire anticipando la spesa naturalmente con l'intesa che ci avrebbero rimborsato. Però recuperare quei soldi è stato un litigio risolto dall'Italia e dopo aver minacciato conseguenze legali sopratutto per aver noleggiato un veicolo che aveva messo in pericolo due famiglie.

Tive problemas no meu voo e eles garantiram meu aluguel do carro sem nenhum problema. Me buscaram no aeroporto mesmo com meu atraso e ainda me cobraram 1 diária a menos pelo transtorno. Super recomendo!!

J ai loué par internet une petite citadine similaire à la Toyota aygo Le jour de la location on me donne une Fiat punto essence en mauvais état et qui consomme énormément et n a aucune reprise, rendant difficile son utilisation sur les grandes montées de Lisbonne. De plus l’agent qui me reçoit me vend un supplément pour un boîtier stationnement, parkings et péages, pour le prix de 20€ que je paie cash. Seulement, dès lors que je me rend sur le parking d’un centre commercial, compatible avec le boîtier, le boîtier qu’on m’a donné ne fonctionne pas et je dois payer le stationnement. J’appelle immédiatement l’agence qui me certifie qu’elle me rendra mon argent le jour de la restitution, ce qui se révélera être un mensonge : l’agent me dit ne rien pouvoir faire, car il n a pas de liquidités et me donne comme seule solution de faire un mail de réclamation. Mail que je fais et qui me revient infructueux. De plus la caution de 1200€, qui devait être débloquée le jour de la restitution, est au bout de 7 jours toujours active sur mon compte, ce qui bloque mon plafond et les retraits. Je ne recommande pas du tout cette agence A fuir même ! Espérant que ma malheureuse expérience pourra éviter que cette arnaque se reproduise.

Boas. O meu nome é Nádia e fui parceira/cliente da benerent durante quase 2anos. Durante estes quase 2anos sempre fui super bem tratada e atendida e como é evidente sendo, cliente-parceira funcionávamos de uma forma bastante simbiótica, justa e recíproca. Há 3 messes começaram os problemas. Começaram colaboradores a despedirem se, eu a chegar atrasada aos meus clientes por só estar uma pessoa no balcão a atender os clientes... a cobraram carrinhas duas vezes porque perdiam os recibos e super estranho não terem ninguém na contabilidade que verifique essa entrada de dinheiro com ou sem recibo... entre outras coisas uma atrás de outra que só revelavam falta de organização e interesse da parte do gerente (Jorge) no bom funcionamento da benerent e na satisfação dos clientes. Como cliente pareceria e tendo um óptima relação com todos, falei com o Gerente jorge, na tentativa de fazer uma Crítica construtiva e ajudar a fim de melhorarem e acreditando que era uma fase. Pois se não é para meu espanto o gerente, não aceitou nada bem a minha crítica construtiva foi zero receptivo, não percebeu que se eu estava a dizer aquilo era porque de facto já estam a acontecer muitas coisas negativas e a prejudicar o meu trabalho. A resposta dele foi zero profissional, zero ética e tratou me como se eu fosse colega ou familiar dele... e na verdade, apesar da confiança eu sou uma cliente, tenho uma empresa, tenho clientes e não andamos aqui a brincar nem no recreio e se de alguma forma o mau trabalho dele prejudica a minha empresa e o meu trabalho isto é para ser levado com seriedade. Não foi, muito pelo o contrário, começamos a entrar num campo super hostil, e comecei a falar com outro suposto gerente, o filipe, numa tentativa de refazermos a nossa relação profissional mas sem sucesso, pois nunca houve um pedido de desculpas por parte do Jorge nem tão pouco o filipe conseguiu refazer a nossa relação profissional, aliás muito pelo o contrário, retiraram-me de certa forma alguns benefícios que tinha por ser cliente parceira mas os benefícios que eu lhes concedia continuavam lá. Enfim... situação horrível, sempre que lá ia era só intrigas os colaboradores com imenso trabalho, exaustos a reclamarem em tom de desabafo, Pois o trabalho é muito e a desorganização reinava. Em suma, até porrada me ofereçam na benerent tentei falar com o responsável não existia por ser sábado.... um escândalo mesmo. Für einen Tag ein Auto gemietet 13,50 EUR online angezahlt den Rest in bar vor Ort gezahlt. Ohne jegliche Nachfrage durch den Vermieter wurde einen Monat später der Betrag den ich bereits vor Ort bar bezahlt habe von meiner Kreditkarte abgebucht!!! Auf Nachfrage meinerseits wurde ich immer wieder vertröstet. Ich habe sogar die Abschlussrechnung nochmals gemailt wo ersichtlich ist, dass alles bezahlt wurde!!! Es hätten 5 Sterne werden können...

I have rented a car in Benerent in OCT 2019 for 6 days. Advantages: New Cars Friendly staff Disadvantages: Please be aware that it seems that main income for this company is not a rental itself but all additional fees they bring to you. I have rented their car through Ryanair, in Ryanair e-mail was written that there is no need to take a full insurance from car rental company because Ryanair alrady provides it. So I decided not to take it from Benerent, especially because it was ridiculously high - 16 EUR per day, thus I decided to leave a deposit 1200 EUR. I took a car and unfortunately one day I left it on the parking for a whole day and after return I spot the small windows damage on the driver side, it was broken. I was upset a bit but not too much because I knew that cost of this window is not too high, so I expected max 400-500 EUR. When I arrived back to Benerent they told me they will charge full deposit - 1200!! For a small glass, which costs maybe 100 USD + 100 USD labout costs maximum. I was shocked. Fortunately, Ryanair insurance returned me 800 EUR (their maximum coverage for glasses). Just please be very careful with this company, they will charge you for every small scratch

Returned the car one hour too late due to heavy traffic and they've kept the full deposit of 800 euros for that. Worst experience ever.

Overall really good, stress and pressure free service. Pick up was from the Oriente train statio. since we were already staying in Lisbon this was an advantage not having to go to the airport, but BENERent gives free transfer. There was no queue, pick up done in 10 minutes. No pressure aboyt the full coverage insurance, they let the customer decide freely. in exchange the liability is 1.300 eur, which was released immediately at return. Definitely recommend to go with this company.

ATENCION! Les voy a contar mi experiencia con BENErent, para que la tengan en cuenta a la hora de alquilar un coche con esta compañia. Fuimos trasladados en camioneta hasta el deposito (tener en cuenta el tiempo extra ya que no son 5 minutos, el deposito mas alla de estar cerca es de dificil acceso y hay trafico ya que esta al lado de la estacion centrar de bus.) Fui el primero en ser atendido por el personal ya que no tenia equipaje y al bajar de la camioneta fui directo al mostrador. Ya me habian entregado los papeles y estaba a espera del coche, pero en vez de traerme el coche decidieron atender a una chica rubia y de muy buena presencia que estaba detras de mi en la fila. Cuando terminaron de atenderla decidieron en vez de traerme el coche a mi, traerselo a ella, hacerle una demostracion de como funcionaba el coche, las luces, la radio, etc.. para finalmente traerme el coche a mi luego de 20 minutos de espera. Demostracion para mi? NO! Asi comenzo m experiencia. La LLAVE ELECTRICA del carro NO FUNCIONABA, por lo que tenia que cerrar y abrir el auto manualmente. La RADIO NO FUNCIONABA. Lo peor fue cuando tuve que devolver el carro: EN EL CONTRATO (Adjunto foto) la devolucion aparece que es en el aeropuerto. Cuando llame (6 veces hasta que me atendieron) para preguntar en que parte del aeropuerto me dijeron que lo lleve al parking. Les dije que no tenia tiempo para ir al deposito, que en el contrato no decia eso y la respuesta fue.. no importa señor si no tene tiempo, lo tiene que devolver aca, si lo deja en el aeropuerto le cobramos abandono del coche. Yo insisti basandome en el contrato pero el chico que me atendio llamado Daniel decidio colgarme el telefono. Lo volvi a llamar e insistio, en que para ellos al poner EL AEROPUERTO se refieren al deposito. Tuve que detener el coche a un lado de la carretera para encontrar la direccion del deposito por mis cuentas ya que el hombre no me la quiso dar y me dijo que la busque yo! Cuando llegue al deposito, la oficina estuvo vacia durante 15 minutos hasta que finalmente aparecio este joven Daniel para tomar mi devolucion de mala manera, sin mirarme a los ojos ni dirigirme la palabra. Adjunto fotos de todo lo sucedido para que la gente no crea que soy un exagerado.

Eu não acredito em alugueres a 2 e 3 euros, acredito que os alugueres têm um custo que nunca poderá ser tão baixo, acredito mais que esses alugueres a baixo preço é para sermos enganados em algo, por isso preferi alugar directo na Benerent para não ter custos escondidos, por essa mesma razão não fui enganado, muito obrigado pelo serviço, não me importo de pagar um preço justo para ser bem servido. I do not believe in cheap prices 2 euros or 3 euros a day i know that sometime i will be charged with something, that is why i prefer to rent direct i know i pay more but there will be no hidden cost or charges, that is why i believe in rental prices correct. I like the service.... But i pay the correct price for it....

Ci viene assegnato un quashkai con 4200 km. Chiedono 1750 euro di caparra - onesto - ed il trattamento é professionale. Al rientro i km sono 5000, il veicolo si é dimostrato perfetto e tutto si conclude serenamente. Al contrario di altri noleggiatori: questo me lo tengo in memoria per future puntate in Portogallo.

Depois de várias experiências no Aeroporto de Lisboa em que o que parece acaba por não ser, acabei finalmente por encontrar a Benerent. Fiquei fã, ganharam um cliente e recomendarei os vossos serviços de certeza. Continuem!!

I had passed through a tough situation after renting out car on Christmas eve, whose tyre got flat in an hour. After checking there was no replacement Tyre as they indicated initially and waited for an hour. I got a real help from the Benerent Manager, supporting the whole night. But, the car was taken away by the road assistance and I didn't any got a replacement car for the next day due to Christmas holiday. The very unfortunate thing was that they didn't agree to reimbursing the fees for the day I didn't have the car

Overall fair price, good contact while renting but we had major misunderstanding at the very end regarding the transponder. They claimed giving the information about the transponder at pick-up but in fact they didn't. It's not the matter of +20 EUR but simple honesty and respect for the client.

Needed to amend booking and there was no problem. Emails answered very quickly and all was in place when we collected the vehicle. We hired a 9 seater which was immaculate except for one mark which we were told wasn't a problem. Fortunately we took a photo of this as when we returned the car they wanted to charge for a repair however when we showed the photo to the attendant he said no problem. Everyone we dealt with was polite and no pressure to take out any additional insurance etc. Would use them again but would make sure every mark is documented.

Wir hatten 14 Tage einen fast neuen 1er BMW(3.000km waren erst drauf) und können nur ein Lob aussprechen. Übergabe hat wunderbar geklappt, auch wenn das Büro etwas schwierig zu finden ist. Freundliches Personal, gute Englischkenntnisse, man fühlt sich aufgehoben. Rückgabe war auch gar kein Problem und der Flughafenshuttle ist zusätzlich ein sehr netter Service.

Péssima; Aluguei por 28 dias e devolvi com apenas 1 dias de utilização, devido as péssimas condições do carro. Apesar da devolução acontecer por culpa da locadora não fui ressarcida e perdi todo o dinheiro do aluguel. Equipe despreparada, frota muito antiga e sem manutenção, elaboração do contrato de forma manual. Anotam o numero do seu cartão de credito e o código de segurança. Chefe de sessão muito mal educado.

Such bad and rude service! Upon arrival we were told an agent would meet us at Lisbon airport for 10am. We were waiting from 9.50am until 10.30am for the agent to arrive, after we had called at 10.20am, the agent then balatantly lied and said he came at 10am but didn't see us. Lady at the office said she would extend our return time by 1 hour (which made no difference to my Fiancée and I). She also said to avoid tolls we can pay upfront €10 and drive through the fast lanes which we did. When returning the vehicle an extremely rude lady, Tania, told us we had to pay an activation charge of €10. We explained to her that we were not told this as the original lady had said all we had to pay was €10 which is why we agreed to pay initially. Tania was not being understanding in anyway. Asked her to show us in the contract where it says to pay €10 but she could not find anything. She called her supervisor who straight away said, without even talking to us, he's not interested in what we have to say. They didn't provide a shuttle service for us back to the airport as we refused to pay and they made us walk back to the airport. We even returned the car with 3/4 of fuel when they only required it to be returned with 1/2 tank.

Je me suis faite escroquer de 280€ par BENERENT, sans motif et j'ai dû faire opposition à ma CB car le responsable du guichet a recopié discrètement le N° de ma CB ainsi que son cryptogramme au dos et mon adresse mail. Par ailleurs, lors de la restitution du véhicule, ils découvrent des "dommages" sous la voiture (dessous de pare-choc rayé, ou bavette partiellement flottante) qui n'avaient pas été identifiés au départ car on ne se glisse pas sous la voiture. Renseignements pris, ils sont coutumiers du fait. Ne vous faites pas avoir, Philippe

Déçu par cette entreprise / voucher présenté sur telephone et on me facture 1€ pour l'impression alors qu'avec d'aures prestataires le visuel sur telephone suffisait. De plus, impossible de changer la voiture proposée on me dit qu'il n y a pas d'autres dispos... en 10 jours de location ça me paraît gros mais bon... je n'y retournerais plus, la satisfaction client n'est pas la priorité de cette entreprise.. A eviter !
