We (family of four incl. toddler) had a great private tour with Chris - including dog walking, sight seeing and having lunch at a beautiful, hidden place on Algarve's west coast. I can highly recommend the tour and especially Chris - he was fun, organized and always took care of our needs (of which you have a lot with two little kids...) - couldn't think of any better host!

We did the dogs, wine, beach tour so had high expectations and the tour totally delivered!! After being picked up in Lagos, we visited a no-kill dog shelter in Aljezur. The dogs were sooo sweet and loved getting attention. We walked them up a hill to nearby castle ruins that had the most beautiful view of the valley, and then back down through the old town. It was a super picturesque and relaxing morning. After that, we had a wine tasting at Quinto dos Vales winery and also had an AMAZING homecooked picnic lunch that was delicious! The final stop of the day was a beach on the south coast near Portimao. It was beautiful and private and we drank wine on the beach too. Our guide Chris was so fun and knowledgeable about Portugal and the Algarve region. He gave us lots of travel tips and was a great guide! Highly recommended - can’t imagine a better way to spend a day in the Algarve region.

Such a unique collection of tours that really show you parts of Portugal you just wouldn’t see otherwise. They take you away from the tourist beaten track and expose you to small Portuguese towns, mountainous landscapes and the funniest doggos in the Algarve. This, accompanied with a wholesome, healthy picnic that really encapsulated local flavours and some A+ chat from the boys creates a day that you won’t forget. Good bloody job lads! Lucy

The Monchique sunset hike is a must do whilst visiting Lagos! We stayed in Lagos for a week and it was the highlight of our stay! It was good to escape the beaches and hustle for an afternoon of wondering the beautiful streets of Monchique before walking up to the highest point in the area with stunning views over the Algarve. Matt was an absolute legend and awesome to deal with, to top it off Matt supplied a yum dinner and a few tasty wines at the top. Great photo opportunities along the way and at the top. 10/10.
