This was by far the best place we stayed our whole trip! Sintra is beautiful and we so wanted to see it, but when we walked into Casa Acucena and looked at the pool, and the patios, and the sun room, and the sitting room, and our room, we just wanted to stay there! And breakfast was amazing! They even gave us a breakfast to go when we had to leave early for a flight, and gave us lots of information about Sintra. My advice--if you are looking for a day to relax on your travels, book an extra day here! We stayed 2 nights and would have happily stayed more!

Porte de la chambre vitrée donnant sur le hall d'entrée cachée par un rideau, forte odeur humidité (irrespirable pour les personnes alergiques), absence de WIFI... Les propriétaires n'ont pu nous proposer une autre chambre faute de place.

We booked a family trip to Sintra. Three rooms with showers for six adults and one child and we were the only guests. There was NO HOT WATER in the entire hotel. We called to let them know of the issue the first night and after realizing I wasnt lying the owner opened up the other rooms for us, but still there was no hot water. The one room that had hot water only lasted for about 7 minutes. This was in December! It was like showering in ice water. Cold showers suck, but the owners attitude was worse. He assumed we were dumb and didnt know how to operate a shower. Then once telling us we werent doing it right and checking for himself realize that infact the 6+ room house had NO HOT WATER. This happened every night over the course of the weekend. On Monday when we were leaving he then suggested that he might need to call someone to fix it. Other than the hot water and the owners attitude the house was perfect. The breakfast was great and they even made it early one day for us because we had to leave before the normal serving time. The woman who worked in the morning was amazing! It was close enough to walk to all the attractions in Sintra and the train station. The house had beautiful charm. While there were some nice aspects to our stay it overall was ruined by the absence of hot water and the owners negative attitude. It was something that we constantly had to worry about during the day.

La dirección sólo se preocupa en cobrar lo estipulado, lo que sería normal si cumpliesen con ello. De tres habitaciones, dos no tenían agua caliente y habiendo otras vacías, hasta el tercer día en que nos plantamos no nos ofrecieron otras. Y en este tiempo allí hace frío y mucha humedad. La empleada hace muy bien su trabajo y las camas son muy cómodas pero la actitud de la dirección (a la que sólo teniamos acceso por teléfono ) hizo que no dudáramos en poner una reclamación. Una pena haberlos elegido.

Lo adoriamo, hotel.molto ben comunicato, perfetto se non si ha l'auto a disposozione, stupenda vista, colazione fantastica e camera pulita e accogliente. L'unica persona del personale che abbiamo visto è una signora portoghese che parla diverse lingue molto bene, molto gentile e preparata su qualsiasi informazione voi abbiate bisogno. È il posto perfetto per terminare le ferie qui in portogallo, felicissimi di aver scelto questo hotel.

Schöne Unterkunft und nettes Personal, nur leider zu hellhörig und zu viel Lärm durch die Hunde der Nachbarn. Kaum durchgängiger Schlaf möglich.

Es un lugar de hospedaje encantador!! Todo está muy cuidado, la decoración, los detalles, la limpieza, el desayuno. Todo fenomenal, con un jardín y una piscina nuy recoletos. Y lo mejor de todo, el personal. Margareta es un amor!!! Habla perfectamente el español y resuelve lo que necesites. Volvería sin dudarlo.

Casa muy Bonita. Margarita muy amable nos explicó todo muy bien. Desayuno muy bueno. Vistas espectaculares. Tener en cuenta que el cgecking es hasta las 7 de la tarde. Si llegas después te cargan 30 € más por habitación.

Bella struttura, personale accogliente e disponibile. Camera ampia e colazione di buon livello. Piscina piccola ma carina, camera con un po troppa umidità e praticamente sprovvista di armadio.

Ideal para estancias en Sintra y alrededores, céntrico, cómodo, bonito, tranquilo, buen desayuno y exquisita atención, Margarita lo hace aun mejor lugar, lugar que se puede recomendar sin posibilidad de errar. Además dispone de aparcamiento en la calle gratuito, se paga en la acera de enfrente, no en la de la casa, la calle sin salida por lo que la tranquilidad es segura.

We had a wonderful stay. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. The house and room were immaculate and well decorated. The house is located on a quiet street near the town centre with beautiful views from the balconies and the garden. There's also a library and communal living room which are really nice homely touches.I can't wait to return!

מלון בוטיק פרטי מצויין. מנהלת המלון לא מפסיקה לעזור, לפנק, לסדר, להסביר ולדאוג שרק נהנה, נטייל וננוח. וגם נאכל טוב בארוחת הבוקר. מיני בר מרכזי עם מחירים מצויינים שעוזר מאוד אם צריך פתאום בירה , יין, מים וכד'. מיקום מצויין קרוב למרכז העיר. חדרים גדולים ונוחים עם אמבטיה צמודה לכל חדר. בריכה חביבה בחוץ. חוויה יוצאת מן הכלל בסינטרה הרומנטית.

un bon b&b mais la piscine est remplie de jouets pour enfants et lorsque je suis rentre de visite a 16h les enfants du proprio ont joue et crie jusqu a 19h impossible de nager et meme de se reposer dans la chambre Aucune consideration pour le client ! a eviter si vous voulez le calme

Oui, c'était correct. Tout ce qu'il faut pour être correct. Manque juste un peu de chaleur humaine. Par contre, comparée aux chambres bien décorées et meubles vintages, la salle de bain est à rafraîchir et la belle terrasse au 1er étage dépourvue de chaises ou fauteuil. Pas moyen de s'asseoir, ni de lire un livre car pas de petite table non plus. Avis à ceux comme mon mari qui désire après une journée touristique, profiter de la piscine (froide) dans un moment de quiétude, surprise, les enfants de la famille ont investi le lieu avec leur jouets gonflables, et d'un bouquant presque insupportable, si (uniquement) vous cherchez la paix. B&B = partage!

ruhig, entspannt, mit sehr freundlicher aufmerksamen und auskunftsfreudigen hilfsbereiten Hausherrin.Liebevoll eingerichtetes kleines Haus. Liebevoll hergerichtetes Frühstück. Nach langem Tag in Lissabon einfach schön wieder nach Hause zu kommen. Werden auf alle Fälle wieder dort buchen bei unserer nächsten Lissabon Reise im kommenden Jahr.

Anreisen für Ortsunkundige etwas schwierig, aber bei Ankunft wird man mit schönen Zimmern, einem tollen Ausblick und netten Gastgebern belohnt.

Endroit légèrement difficile à trouver, de plus les photos du site sont trompeuses.Sinon très bon accueil avec tous les renseignements possibles pour passer un bon séjour, la propreté du site est très bien, la décoration et le style sont très beau.Chambre cosy et très accueillante.
