Hosted in an old farm house outside of Obidos, staying here would require to have a car, and to use it even for dinner (a few restaurants are located a few minutes by car, otherwise Obidos is a little bit further away but would require to pay for parking)... but being outside Obidos offers you an amazing view from the rooms on the city wall, particularly at sunrise! While the room may look a little bit outdated and the bed rather small, the overall atmosphere of the house is a nice touch... and the breakfast room is amazing with its full table of pastries and fruits!

An estate at the outskirts of Obidos town, not really close to the old town and requires a car to get to the center. Room was a little weird. Spacious, yes, but with a wooden board at the feet of the bed. If you are over 190cm like me prepare for a horrible night. Water flow in the shower was a trickle at best. The grounds seem nice, unfortunately due to the bad weather we couldnt take advantage of them. Check in went quickly with no offers of help to carry our luggage to the second floor. Saving their rating and providing the fourth star was the outstanding breakfast which helped us start the next morning right.

Faboulous location Great breakfast Really nice footpath to Obidos behind the property that I just happened to find out about while reading the binder in the room ( should be better explained/ highlighted) The path avoids driving into Obidos and also has a great restaurant a 5 minutes walk along the footpath

The property is walking distance to Óbidos. It is also very clean and has a wonderful setting with clear views of the castle.

Absolutely beautiful property and location just outside of town, must be seen in daylight top really appreciate. The common room on the second floor, with pool table, was an unexpected surprise. Everything was immaculately clean except for the common w/c on the main floor was slightly neglected. Our private w/c was perfectly clean, my only complaint would be that the shower head would not stay up on its own and had to be held manually, and the towels could have used a little fabric softener when being washed :-). Nonetheless, a very beautiful planned to stay.

We had a lovely one night stay in this 1887 farmhouse. It was a delightful respite and a wonderful alternative just outside of sometimes congested Obidos. The host could not have been more welcoming and the breakfast was delicious.

Super beau manoir, à quelques minutes du village fortifié d'Obidos. On se croirait au début du 19e siècle dans ce décor enchanteur. Excellent petit déjeuner agrémenté par un service très attentionné.

Sensacional. Me senti hospedada no campo. É um casarão antigo do século XIX muito bem cuidado. O atendimento também foi excepcional e o café da manhã simplesmente divino. Não fica perto para ir a pé à cidade murada, mas tem uma vista espetacular. Como estava de carro, isto não foi um problema. Recomendo 1000 vezes.

Café da manhã compartilhado a mesa: como em uma casa mesmo!
Tiveram o cuidado de deixar um agrado em comemoração ao nosso aniversário.
A rota até a vila de Obidos dura 15min e é tranquila!

Super cute old BNB on beautiful grounds right outside of the town. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. Breakfast was delicious. Would definitely stay again!!

Located just outside the main town, this country house B+B is a gem. The whole country setting certainty evoked a nostalgic gentry living of days gone by. Everything in the house is traditional. No hint of modernism at all. Pity the weather is somewhat cooler now, else it would be great time to enjoy the swimming pool and laze around the patio with a cigar...

While outside the city walls, it was quiet, beautifully keep and a short walk back to the city. The breakfast was exceptional with I think 10 of us having a very nice exchange of itineraries.

Very nice quiet location just below the walled city in the orchards. Wonderful view of the city above. Stayed in an apartment which did not include breakfast but there was ham and cheese, cereal, milk in the fridge and fresh bread delivered in the morning.

Beautiful location friendly helpful staff. Lovely breakfast. Grounds and pool are well kept. Very clean hotel, my only complaint is the beds were very hard and uncomfortable to sleep on.

Nice hotel, clean rooms, modern bathroom, friendly staff, nice poll in the garden. But: no elevator, so you need to carry your luggage through the steps, no air-condition in the room, no tv in the room, and we did not like the all around the table in breakfast.

Casa Cristina is an authentic country cottage with nice interior decor. The house has been kept in a good condition. All the 3 rooms were spacious, clean and warm. The toilets were clean and well equipped. We did use the kitchen for cooking our dinner for one of the two nights of stay. The kitchen ware were easy to use and good for our group of six. Only one dislike was that some of the lamps in one of our rooms were out of order. There’s no plug for one of the bed side lamp at all, so it’s just a props. Host is a nice gentleman who gave us advice for restaurant. And there is daily housekeeping service.

Passamos apenas uma noite na Casa D' Obidos e tudo foi perfeito. As instalações são excelentes e ainda recebemos um mimo do anfitrião. Recomendo.

We were warmly welcomed to this superb historic house. It is nestled behind the castle so it is quiet and an escape from the tourist traffic. Breakfast was plentiful and thoughtfully presented, will all guests sitting around a large dining table. Highly recommend

Beautiful setting, quaint country house. Quite rustic. Very quiet at night. Even though it’s outside of town you can easily walk to town and restaurants. Breakfast supplies of cheese, meat, yogurt, milk, cereal and fresh bread were provided. Also provided a welcome snack and some port wine which was nice. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Could use a sofa in living room and a brighter light fixture in the dining room. It was too cool to eat in the backyard when we were there, and we found the living/dining room could be made a bit more comfortable for 4 people to spend time in.

Beautiful little Casa, very close to Obidos. Perfect if you have a car. Only complaint was that the mattress was not very comfortable. Nice pool, delicious breakfast. Great value for the money.

It’s a very charming quiet country home, well located about a 5 minute drive to town. We enjoyed the possibility of having a dip in the pool on a hot day. There is no air conditioning which usually would be no problem because there’s a lovely breeze at night but our screen was torn so we didn’t open the window. We had twin beds in our room which were exceptionally narrow. The mattress didn’t fit the base and was uncomfortable. We appreciated the eco responsibility of laundering, but our towels were like stiff scratchy cardboard. Breakfast was served in the dining room which was lovely. All guests sat around a large dining table. With so many different languages spoken, it was awkward at times, constantly asking to have things passed about.

במחיר ממש טוב זכינו ב"דירה" שהיא בגודל של בית! בעלים נחמדים ומסבירי פנים, עיצוב ישן ותקופתי. חבל שאין לנו יותר זמן להנות פה.

Hotel rural con mucho encanto, es un palacete que mantiene buena parte del mobiliario original. Cuenta con piscina, pista de tenis (proporcionan raquetas), mesa de billar... El desayuno muy bueno. Quedan pocos sitios tan auténticos.

Beautiful b&b. Staff was very nice and helpful, and the property is very pretty, however, for us, it wasnt that comfortable of a stay. The beds were very uncomfortable. The WiFi is only available on one public area, and is quite slow. The shower had very low water pressure and there is no air conditioning in the rooms. To summarize, its a beautiful property, just not comfortable...

Een van oudsher voornaam hotel. Goed onderhouden maar gedateerd. Harde bedden en gehorig kamers met ramen boven de deuren met de gang, waardoor je last houdt van de buren als die het licht aan doen. Bijzonder (onpraktisch) is de ontbijtruimte met 1 gemeenschappelijke tafel. Onplezierig. Naar ook dat de bediening probeert te verhinderen dat je buiten gaat eten. Voor romantiek bijna ongeschikt.... Personeel dat denkt dat ze jou moeten vertellen hoe ze het willen...

The house was very cute but the shower was very disappointing. Extremely small. They also did not provide shampoo & conditioner. They provided coffee and a small breakfast which was nice.

Zodra je hier over de drempel stapt, waan je je in de vorige eeuw. Het landhuis is geheel in stijl ingericht. We werden verwelkomd door John, die ons onze kamer wees waar een klein karafje port als welkom stond. Lekker!
De B&B is rustig gelegen. De kamer was redelijk schoon, maar doet door de antieke inrichting wat gedateerd aan. En toch had het ook wel iets.
Het ontbijt 's morgens is echt een feest. Prima verzorgd en je zit met alle gasten aan 1 grote tafel. Zo ontstaan er leuke gesprekken.
Er is ook een groot zwembad.
Vanuit de B&B kun je te voet naar het centrum van Obidos lopen. Wij zijn ook nog een dagje naar de kust geweest, naar de hoge golven bij Nazare.

מקום לא מומלץ בעליל!
בעלים אנטיפט.ו לא מסביר פנים.
מקום מעופש עם ריח לא נעים....אפלולי קצת מזכיר סרטי אימה.
מיטות לא נוחות, אחרי נסיעה ארוכה אין בחדר אפילו בקבוק מים מינרליים לרפואה, שלא לדבר על קומקום עם שקיקי תה.... בקושי אכסניה.
ארוחת בוקר בלי ביצים ואפילו לא זכר לירק(עגבניה,מלפפון) לא ביקשנו חלילה סלט.
אכזבה מוחלטת!
כוכב אחד וזה המון!(פשוט כי אין ברירה)

Beautiful house filled with antiques but a bit musty and unloved. Need a car to drive into Obidos. View from the hotel of Obidos castle fabulous. Garden gorgeous and there is a pool. Breakfast good but had much better in other accommodation in the area. Personally just found it a bit too far away from the life of the town.

Este foi o lugar mais fantástico e acolhedor em que já estivemos. Era uma antiga fazenda do século XIX que foi transformada em hotel. Maravilhoso o atendimento é o carinho de todos.

Stayed many times for our authentic slice of Portugal. Fantastic value in beautiful old casa with pool, tennis court & games room. Shared breakfast around massive dinner table an entertaining start to the day, mostly very interesting travellers.

You have bad showers, and bad showers.
The shower in my room was even worse. Beds are for very short people. With my head against the wall, me feet were still completely out of the bed (I'm 188cm).
Didn't use the pool, but looked nice.
Breakfast was oké, but nothing special, not worth an extra star. Served on a big table, were you sit with all the other guests. This is a nice set-up.
The hotel itself is nice. A big house and some smaller apartments on the outside.
About 20 minutes walking from the town. Sidewalk all the way, so you don't have to walk close to the cars.

En voyage, il fait bon parfois de trouver refuge dans un endroit paisible. Casa dobidos y correspond tout en étant à une vingtaine minutes de marche de la muraille.Plein de charme, extérieur bien entretenu.

Espaço acolhedor, sossegado e suficientemente perto da vila que se pode ir a pé.
As casas individuais estão suficientemente apetrechadas com eletrodomésticos, pratos, talheres e roupa de casa, e há oferta de café, filtros, iogurtes, doce/manteiga, fiambre, queijo e pão (entregue todos os dias).

In spite of great looks this hotel delivered the most foul service I can remember. We were denied breakfast during our 3 night stays for unspecified reasons (yet we discovered that breakfast was served to some guests). The people who own/manage this hotel have a snobbish and segregation attitude problem that translate into bad service and a feeling of being unwelcome.Read the other real reviews that uncover the fundamental deficiencies of this hotel

Lieu idéal pour passer une nuit hors du temps dans une ambiance so kitch mais tellement reposante.
Le clou du séjour étant le petit déjeuner. A ne rater sous aucun prétexte ! !

Wir können die Unterkunft Casa dObidos voll und ganz empfehlen. Die Unterkunf tst sehr persönlich geführt. bereits bei der Ankunft sind wir überaus herzlich empfangen worden. Das Frühstück war hervorragend und hatte wiederum die persönliche Note. Des Weiteren ist hervorzuheben, dass die Casa dObidos extrem ruihg gelegen ist mit herrllichem Blick auf die Burg - auch vom Pool aus :-). Wir ürden jederzeit wiederkommen!
