I loved it. The accommodation is great and the guys makes it even more special. I spent there 7 nights. You feel like home and their lovely dogs makes the journey much better. For surfing it is the place to be in Peniche. best surfing teacher it was a lot of fun. Thank you Rita and Pedro for the great time. I will come back for sure :)

For me it was already the third time to come to this place and it was definitely not the last time. This place is so special, not only because of the beautiful house close to the beach, also because of the people, Rita & Pedro. They are so so lovely & hospitably. And when you go there, do definitely some surfing lessons with Pedro! You will all love this - the house, the people, the ocean, surfing, the waves, the food, the portuguese culture, their lovely dogs at their house, .... all this. Our two days with Rita and Pedro were superb! We had a wonderfully furnished room with balcony and the breakfast was amazing! The location (walking distance to the ocean) is just great. But most importantly: Rita and Pedro are the best hosts ever. They are so kind and open minded and have so many recommendations where to eat and what to see that we really felt at home and not just being tourists there. Pedro also is a great surf teacher. We loved his lessons and really got addicted to surfing. We surely will return one day! Obrigada.

Very beautiful guesthouse with delicious breakfast and most importantly great hosts. Rita and Pedro made our stay at Supertubos West Surf the highlight of out Portugal trip. They showed us the real Portuguese way of life and Pedros surf lessons were just amazing! It will not be our last trip to SWS.

What an amazing experience that I HIGHLY recommend to anyone interested in surfing in the Peniche area. I have surfed with instructors in so many places... CA, Hawaii, Costa Rica, etc... and Pedro was the best. Some people are great surfers but not great teachers - Pedro is both, Calm, intuitive, patient, and so helpful. I improved more with Pedro than with anyone before! And I loved meeting Rita and can't wait to surf with her when I return.

2 months have passed since we came back from Supertubos West Surf and not a day has gone without me thinking about how pleasant it was to stay there with my little family. Rita and Pedro are simply the best hosts you can think of. Completely dedicated to their guests and their well being. All they want is for you to enjoy your stay and they will walk that extra mile in order for it to be as you want. The house is great, the dogs are awesome, the service is amazing, and the location couldn't be more enjoyable. If you are looking to learn surfing or simply for a nice place to stay in Peniche. Rita and Pedro definitely have you covered and you will definitely not regret it. Oh, and everybody knows Rita and Pedro in Peniche, so you will never be lost either ;) We just can't wait to head back there. the welcome was warm and friendly. Rita and Pedro give you a feeling like you are at home. The surf lessons were very cool. the breakfast was very tasty and extensive. it is a top residence.

The welkom was really warm and homey. Rita and Pedro really make you feel at home in their home without making it feel like you just arrived at a hotel. The room was really spaceous and clean. A real recommendation is the surf lessons. They are really worth the effort and just a fun thing to do. The food is SOOOOOOO good that at one point I thougt I was in heaven. Estas han sido las perfectas vacaciones. Rita y Pedro son encantadores. Es el tercer verano que paso en su casa y cada vez me doy mas cuenta que tienen un don especial. Saben crear una atmosfera donde toda la gente se siente agusto. La casa esta impoluta y los desayunos exquisitos. Practico el bodyboard, sin embargo me encanta ir a las clases de surf con Pedro, tiene tambien otro don especial para la ensenanza de este deporte. Hace que lo complicado se convierta en sencillez y sobre todo diversion, mucha diversion :)

Couldn't be luckier to find supertubos west surf! My boyfriend and I booked a lesson the night before and Pedro was really receptive and made time for us the next morning. All the equipment was included in the price and Pedro was an excellent teacher, really friendly and easy to talk to. We would definitely reccomend and look forward to coming back one day!

Lovely place! I had the best few days of my holliday. The surf lessons with Pedro and Rita are very personal so You can learn fast. Pedro and Rita are kind, caring and wonderful people. It feels like home. I Will definitely go back to them when I go to peniche!

I have stayed with Rita and Pedro in November 2016 and back then already fell in love with both of them. They are incredible hosts and super friendly. Breakfast is amazing and they attract a good crowd, so that it is easy to make friends and find like-minded people. This year I came back to surf and highly recommend Pedro as a teacher. He really wants you to succeed and gives valueable tips and corrects your mistakes on the board. Their concept is quality and not quantity and if you are really looking for an authentic place to stay (not just a location to leave your money) this is the place to go. I will be back in autumn and am already looking forward meeting them again.

Pedro and Rita are by far some of the kindest, most welcoming people we have met and we loved our stay. The house is their home and becomes your home as well. The only problem was we didn't stay long enough. Pedro offers fabulous surf lessons too which my traveling companions loved. We are a part of the family now. Couldn't recommend more highly.

Für mein Surf Urlaub brauchte ich noch ein passendes Board. Ich war am StrandCafe und googelte nach diversen Möglichkeiten. Ich rufte bei Rita an und sie sagte mir es wäre kein Problem, ich solle vorbei kommen. Bis hier hin nichts ungewöhnliches. Ich bin mit dem Auto direkt vorbei gefahren und hier begann die Magie. 1. Pedro nahm mich in Empfang super nett super freundlich. 2. Das "Hotel" gleicht einem Familienhaus, offen, warmherzig eingerichtet, sauber! 3. Pedro hat mich sehr gut für mein Hardboard & wetsuit beraten. Wir tauschten Handynummern aus und trafen uns später noch um ein Bier miteinander zu trinken und zu quatschen. Er sagte mir alle leckeren Restaurants die man in der Nähe besuchen sollte und hat uns sonst extrem viel LocalStuff erzählt. Auch seine Surfschüler waren begeistert! Wenn ich in Portugal das nächste Mal Urlaub mache. Dann definitiv bei Rita & Pedro! Estou feliz por poder morar com você Rita e Pedro Pure Vida!

Pedro and Rita and tremendous! It made all the difference in the world staying with them because they were so welcoming and happy to share local knowledge. It was like staying with a local friend instead of staying at a hotel. I'm an experienced surfer, so I really was happy when Pedro could answer all my questions about the local waves. Questions about wind, crowds, swell angles, swell interval, tides, sandbars, etc. With Pedro's local knowledge, I was able to score waves all the time and I didn't feel like I was chasing my tail, 'on the search.' I had a great trip and I look forward to many, many more stays with Rita and Pedro in the future!

It was an awesome experience to go surfing with pedro. My boyfriend and me are in different levels of surfing. For my boyfriend it was the first time of surfing and i am an intermediate. Pedro organized the surf lesson for both of us. So we learned both new things. The beach that pedro choose was an awesome one and really good for learning l. Thank you for this experience.

I had an unforgettable experience in surfing with Pedro and enjoyed that much. He has outstanding expertise in surfing itself and teaching it ether. Pedro & Rita are such warm-hearted people who make you feel at home. We spent a week in July at their place where we had an amazing time! Every morning, we enjoyed their delicious breakfast with plenty of exotic fruit. At the morning surfing lessons, Pedro obviously knows what he’s doing. We were all beginners but had tons of fun and definitely learned a lot in only a few lessons. As we (father, mother and their two daughters) were staying at their place, our father spontaneously decided to join us for the surfing lessons. We had a lot of laughs, fell many times into the water but also succeeded to catch many good waves! The surfing lessons were thus simply great and not only perfect for a group of friends, but also for families and suited for different age categories. The rooms at their b&b were in a perfect state and the dogs were very sweet, discreet and well-behaved. Rita & Pedro gave us quite some local tips concerning restaurants, festivals and to-do’s, which never ever disappointed. We can thus only recommend you to stay with them and to enjoy Pedro’s surfing lessons when you plan to visit Peniche!

Supertubos West Surf is one of these rare places that combine every ingredients that make your stay just great ... Not only the rooms are very (very) comfortable and nicely decorated (believe me i have stayed in 3 of them and visited them all !) , located in a house one street across the dunes that lead to a beautiful beach and the wild ocean, Rita and Pedro’s home acts as a true magnet : It attracts great and kind people, hosts with whom you share and have a lot of fun. The kitchen, where everybody is free to cook, is large and fully equiped (and always clean) It is a room where you meet, chat and laugh... and feel home with friends! Above all, if you need intimacy and silence, it is also part of the recipe. Do not hesitate : i was supposed to move to a different place. After 10 minutes in the other guest house, I just run back to Rita and Pedro’s. It definitely made my time in Peniche. Pedro teaches surf and Rita is a great cook. You can even borrow the bike... no problem! I will come back again. Don’t know when, but i will ... - [ ]

Accommodations were meticulously clean, bright and spacious. Pedro’s surf instruction was calm, patient and incredibly helpful (each critique he gave always helped me catch the next wave). Thoroughly enjoyed my time and hope to be back to stay again in the future!

Pedro and Rita made our holidays special. We thought we just had reserved some surf lessons, but it was way more than that. Pedro is an excellent surf teacher with fantastic teaching skills (for our kids as well as for us parents of a certain age). Even when we didn't sleep in their B&B, we felt like being part of the "family". Pedro and Rita are friendly, ready to help. They gave us a lot of tips about the region. We also went eating out with them and met very interesting people thank to them. Next time, we will definitively stay in their B&B. Five stars plus for Supertubos West Surf . It's the place to go for anyone who wants to surf (or not) in Peniche.

Increíble lugar para desconectar y practicar el surfing. Totalmente recomendable. Los anfitriones Pedro y Rita son de lo mejor que he visto y se preocupan por ti las 24 horas del día, te recomiendan donde va a haber las mejores olas, te preparan unos desayunos INCREÍBLES etc... La casa es muy bonita y limpia, y los 3 perros que tienen hacen que aumente aún más la sensación de sentirte como en casa. Resumiendo diría que cualquiera que tenga intención de surfear supertubos o conocer la zona de Peniche debería si o si pasar y alojarse unos días aquí.

rita and pedro are the most welcoming hosts i've ever met, making the beautiful accomodation feel like home. spent a lot of quality time surfing, cooking, talking and laughing. the house has very tasteful and beautiful interior, good location for daytrips in the area and is only a short drive away from several good surf spots where you will find a suitable spot for every condition. would recommend supertubos west surf for anyone who wants their trip to be out of the ordinary! thank you rita and pedro! will miss you, see you soon <3

Pedro is a five-star surf instructor. He was always checking my technique to correct me and help me improve my surfing. The spot he chose was great and I got one of my best sessions ever. Highly recommend surfing with him!

I'm from California originally but currently live and work in Budapest. My first time in Portugal was on a business visit in May. Needless to say, I fell in love with the country. On that visit I met a really cool dude on the plane, who turned out to be a Formula One team mechanic and a surfer. He suggested that if I really wanted to surf Portugal, I should head to Peniche and there is no better place to stay than with Pedro & Rita at Supertubos West Surf. This turned out to be the very best piece of advice that I received all year. I road-tripped it out to Peniche and stayed with Pedro & Rita from mid-June to mid-July. It was incredible. the place is very homey with tastefully designed rooms, it's very clean and stylish with lots of attention to detail. The breakfast is amazing ranging from eggs, ham, bacon to daily fresh local fruits and an assortment of whatever you wish. And the location is prime, just a short few minutes’ walk to the very same beach that the surfing world tour visits annually. Pedro is probably the most competent surf instructor I've ever met in my life. I surfed quite a bit as a kid in Cali but had neglected the sport since moving to Europe. So, I was once an okay surfer but hadn't caught any waves in over 10 years, but even for my level, Pedro was able to observe and give precise instruction for me to continually improve and really get me surfing again. So, there you have it: a really nice place to stay and the best surf instruction you could possibly get, anywhere, period. And yet, all of this is just the icing on the cake… What really makes this place so very special are the Hosts Rita and Pedro themselves. They made me feel like I was visiting old friends and reconnecting. They know everybody in the area and all the best places to eat and hang out. They really were very much like insider guides, who always make you feel welcome and bring you into the fold so you can experience this amazing place as a 'local'. For me, this was a trip of a lifetime, and it's all thanks to Pedro, Rita & Supertubos West Surf. I can't recommend this gem of a place enough to everyone who is looking for this type of experience! Pedro was a fantastic instructor. Super patient and very detailed when it came to explaining the basics. He went through every step by explaining, showing an example, and then having us all practice to gain some muscle memory. My husband and I have never surfed before so we didn’t know what quite to expect. As soon as the lesson started we felt comfortable and like we were in capable hands. We both had SO much fun learning the art and skill of surfing. We were even able to stand and catch a wave at the very end! Thank you so much Pedro for giving us this unique (and successful) experience on our honeymoon! We are definitely going to do this again...next time for a longer stay!

Very friendly people! The house is big en clean and their breakfast is very good!! You have everything you need and even more! I had an amasing time! Also Pedro is an amazing surf teacher! After surfing you can eat something and have some beers at the local beach bars!

If you are looking for individual / small group surf classes, you should try this out. Pedro takes a lot of care and he has many experience in teaching!!! Absolutely recommendable!

If you pass through Peniche, you must check out Supertubos West Surf. My two friends and I were lucky enough to stay with Pedro and Rita for a couple days and had the most amazing experience. These two both have great knowledge of all the best local spots to visit and will make you feel at home during your stay.
