Incredibly helpful staff. Small but very modern clean room. Location can't be beat. You can walk to many historic spots, shopping. Cafes and restaurants in abundance. One of the best views in Lisbon is next door.

Sensationell gelegen. Die Zimmer im Dachgeschoss sind etwas vom schönsten, was man sich vorstellen kann. Das Bett ist so gestellt, dass wenn man aufwacht, einem die Stadt zu Füssen liegt.

Very accessible from the metro to the hotel. Almost next to the iconic elevator, you can’t get lost as you can see the elevator from far! Comfortable bed too Very very friendly and helpful staff!!!!! Thumbs up

Hotel neuf, emplacement central qui permet daccéder aux principales attractions de la ville à pied.Préférer les chambres qui donnent sur lintérieur. Moins lumineuses certes, mais plus au calme.Petit déjeuner très complet. Télé allumée en permanence dans la salle de petit déjeuner dont on se passerait bien car cela tranche avec latmosphère très feutrée de létablissement.Il y a des travaux sur limmeuble à côté (et ça va durer encore un moment) donc oubliez les grasses matinées.

In terms of cost / value the lift boutique is exactly as you would expect. Location wise it's pretty perfect right in the center of Lisbon. It's a good base if you like to explore the city by foot. All interesting points are within 20 mins walking in each direction. Don't go out to eat nearby the hotel because all restaurants are sh*t. Just Google a bit and you'll find amazing places in little streets.
Now the hotel itself is quiet, decent bathroom, decent breakfast, decent bed. The downsides is the smell of the rooms, a bit fungy. Further more there is no bar for a drink.
All in all I think you'll pay for a great location and the rest is so/so.

Hotel situato in zona centrale di Lisbona, vicino dalla stazione bus, metro e treno.Hotel un pò datato con arredi da migliorare, come anche la colazione.Il personale della reception è efficiente e gentile.Lo consiglio per chi vuole spostarsi con facilità.

Fui com bebé que estava em dia não mas os empregados deram uma ajuda. Comida boa apesar de para o meu gosto o risoto não estava bem cozido mas também não sou muito conhecedor. Sobremesa superou muito bem confeccionada (tiramisu)

We very much enjoyed our stay, the Lift Boutique Hotel is in an amazing location just steps away from the landmark Lisbon elavator. The staff were so friendly and helpful in assisting us in every way. The only thing I would recommend is not renting a car as parking is not available but also a car is not necessary given their location. The train station exit is not far away and everything, for the most part, is within a taxi or a walking distance. For a couple the room is perfect, I understand if two friends that are not so close may feel awkward with the bathroom setup but it did not bother us in the slightest way! When we come back to Lisbon we will be certain to stay here again.

Outstanding!! The rooms were spacious, stylish, spotless and central to everything we needed! The amenities were absolutely fantastic (even included a smartphone to use while we were there: with free calling and data). We wish we could have stayed longer!

We were 2 friends staying for 4 nights at the interior view room. The design of the room and the entire hotel was stunning, the staff was very helpful and friendly, the room was clean and quiet and the hotel's location couldn't be better. The room wasn't too small either, and they even give you a smartphone for your free use!
The breakfast didn't have a wide selection but it had everything we needed and of good quality. We also tried their restaurant once -
La Risotteria, and the food&drinks there were excellent.
The only downside is the hotel's elevator, which is tiny and very slow. One time we had to wait about ten minutes (!) for it to arrive and help us carry our luggage. Considering the hotel's name, that's pretty upsetting.
Overall we had a wonderful experience and enjoyed our stay at this hotel.

We were there for dinner. We had risotto, which was not bad. If they would cook fish and risotto together rather than separately and put together just on the dish, then would be different.

overall very high standard and a great location but my only downside is the bathrooms they have glass walls so you can literally see and hear everything. this is particularly not ideal with your sharing with friends and you do not want to hear them defecate

Sehr zentral gelegen! Ausstattung und Personal sehr gut!Leider war unser Zimmer im 1.OG, also direkt an der Terasse des hauseigenen Restaurants, was abends etwas ungünstig war. Dennoch waren wir sehr zufrieden.

Banheiro amplo mas tive de pedir duas vezes para resolverem o problema de entupimento no ralo do chuveiro. NÃO RESOLVERAM!
SÓ FINGIRAM QUE IRIAM RESOLVER.
Carpete com cheiro de cigarro.
Oferecem celular (HANDY) com internet gratuitamente para você se locomover pela cidade sem se perder (usei google maps).
Máquina de fazer café (cápsulas).

Pros: -Fantastic location- close to pretty much everywhere you want to go.-Beautiful hotel design as a whole-Room was amazing and had great amenities like: excellent shower, hair dryer with a diffuser, tv with english language options, balcony, free smart phone to use while we were there, nice toiletries, etc-Better than average breakfast buffet Cons:-Very small elevator-There was a man doing work in our room when we checked in and the staff didn’t really help resolve it until after we brought it to their attention twice and even then they didn’t seem to take it very seriously. That said, after submitting a survey during our stay in which we expressed our displeasure with the above situation, we did get a polite apology note and a delivery of some local pastries.

L’hôtel est idéalement placé , les chambres très convenable et décorée avec goût Petit point négatif : le nettoyage de laChambre n’est pas optimal . (Poussière, trace de verre sur le marbre, après le passage de la femelle de chambre pas de savon renouvelé) Autre point : petit déjeuner identique chaque jour et choix restreint à mon goût Note très positive tout de même pour cet hôtel, ce n’est que la déformation professionnel étant dans l’hôtellerie - restauration qui me rend vigilant sur des petits détails

Hôtel idéalement situé (près de l'ascenseur Santa Justa), propre, calme, personnel agréable et accueillant. Salle d'eau spacieuse et pratique.
Nous avons eu l'agréable surprise d'avoir été surclassées au niveau de la chambre. Seul bémol durant notre séjour : une odeur persistante qui se dégageait de la bonde de la douche, atténuée par l'eau de javel.

The rooms are beautifully decorated, but poorly finished and maintained. The location is good, if you are wanting to visit the tourist heart of Lisbon, however I wouldnt recommend eating at any of the restaurants nearby as theyre all tourist traps.

AVOID IF AT ALL POSSIBLE.
I was really excited to stay here. I had never been to Lisbon before and wanted to stay somewhere central and the photos of the place looked so nice.
Unfortunately, my room smelled horribly like the sewer and when I asked the front desk about it they just handed me a bottle of air freshener. It was so bad that I had to move to a different hotel for the second night I was in town. The Lift did not give me a refund, did not apologize, in fact the concierge lied to me about being able to contact the manager. He did offer to put me up in another room but only after I had already made arrangements to move to the other hotel. No such offer was made originally.
Really terrible service. I have emailed the manager to try and get a refund and no one has gotten back to me. I am not holding my breath (unlike when I was in the room haha).
Outside of the smell, the room I was in was very small and faced the back of the building. There was hair in the sink and in the shower. But really I could have overlooked both of these things if it hadn't been for the smell.
The one star is for the breakfast which was actually quite nice and in a lovely room - but I should mention that even though I specifically paid for a room with breakfast the woman who checked me in initially tried to say that breakfast wasn't included and I had to insist and get my confirmation email - ugh. Don't stay here.

L'hôtel est récent et bien placé pour un séjour à Lisbonne. Nous sommes arrivés aux environs de 7h car notre vol etait très matinal et le personnel s'est arrangé pour nous trouver une chambre disponible immédiatement. Le petit petit-déjeuner buffet est très complet.
Bemol concernant le restaurant du 1er etage où nous avons passé un très mauvais diner. De même les chambres au dessus du restaurant profitent de l'ambiance musicale durant toute la durée de l'ouverture de l'établissement...et parfois jusque tard. (00h30 parce que je suis descendue en reception en faire la demande...)
Attention, le café et le thé sont payants. Les tarifs ne sont pas indiqués en chambre et apparaissent sur votre facture en fin de séjour.

The room was extremely uncomfortable - we had the 5th floor, deluxe room. Felt like an upgraded attic. The dips in the ceiling made navigating around the room extremely difficult. The bathroom had tons of mold on the bathroom tile. The rug was extremely dirty. The shower head was clogged. I read similar reviews and thought folks were being super picky but they turned out to be true. It was good for one night but I wouldn’t stay here longer than that.

The pictures of the private room on Expedia were beautiful; they showed wooden beams in the room that elongated the ceiling, with a balcony, and a great street view. It looked luxurious online so I decided to book it. I showed up to a tiny room, with no wooden beams, no balcony, and a view of a brick wall. The water was literally luke warm on 5 out of the 7 days I stayed here. When I told the front desk on a Day 2 they said they will have the mechanic check the boiler. I’m sure they say that a lot because nothing changed. The room had a slight musky, damp smell to it. It’s still a cool space, but not what was expected. It’s in a great location and close to everything, the bathroom is spacious and it’s very clean. I didn’t spend a lot of time in the room, so it is what it is. I sorta like it but wish it showed me what I was going to actually get at the time of booking. So, if you want the room you see in the pics on Expedia (even at the time of booking) make sure you choose the “Deluxe Room” or you’ll be in for a surprise.

Der erste Eindruck an der Rezeption war sehr positiv, das einchecken ging schnell und problemlos, die Rezeption in 24/7 besetzt.Das Zimmer war klein, aber alles sehr sauber und in ordentlichem Zustand. Es gab einen Safe, eine Minibar und ein TV, leider keinen Kleiderschrank, so dass wir aus dem Koffer leben mussten. Die Handtücher wurden jeden Tag gewechselt.Das Frühstück war sehr ordentlich und vielfältig und wurde immer wieder aufgefüllt, der Raum war insgesamt sehr einladend.Die Lage des Hotels ist perfekt: Einkaufszentrum, Altstadt, Metro etc., alles ist praktisch vor der Haustür.Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen.

The hotel is nicely located. It is charming too and clean. We were checked into a not prepared room but the front desk person fixed it right away and apologized. It happens. However, I did not like the fact that the cleaning personnel knocked at the door 2 minutes after the check out time. Also, coffee in the room is not free of charge. This is the first hotel I have ever encountered (and I stayed in at least 20 this year) that charges for coffee that you have to make yourself in the room.

We were there for 7 days. No hot water until the last day when they finally fixed the boiler so every morning was spent splashing cold water on ourselves. The breakfast buffet is a definite disappointment. Do not waste your money. There seems to be construction all over town so the hotel is very noisy.

Good location. Complimentary water and coffee (did not consume). Clean. The only complaint is the loud music from the 1st floor restaurant which is a part of the hotel. The music went on till the restaurant closed at 11 pm. It was unbearable on the second night. After speaking to the restaurant staff, the music was turned off immediately, thank you.

It was an excellent location for a lot of the sights and attractions. There hotel is not a quiet, calming space as it’s on a busy street and there is renovation ongoing in the area. However if you are just using the hotel as a base it’s perfect. I would stay in the hotel again.

Tidy room, good location and friendly staff. My room is at 1st floor, which is next to its restaurant and its toilet. So sometimes i can hear its toilet flush. Except this noise, it is still good enough.

Tolles Hotel, mitten im Geschehen und doch sehr ruhig. Uns hat es hier an nichts gefehlt. Sehenswürdigkeiten, kleine Lokale, Souvenirshops alles rundherum, auch nur wenige Gehminuten zu Metrostationen. Am besten war die kurze Gehzeit zum Praça do Comércio, welchen wir immer wieder als Ausgangspunkt nutzten für div. Touren.Das Personal ist ebenfalls sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit gewesen. Top Unterkunft für einen kurzen Städtetrip.

Die Lage ist sensationell. Das Personal durch und durch sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Das Bad könnte mal eine kleine Renovierung gebrauchen, war nicht schlimm aber wäre schöner wenn es noch schöner wäre. Wir würden das Hotel wieder buchen und können es bedingungslos empfehlen.

Die Lage ist hervorragend. Die Grösse der Zimmer ist akzeptabel. Es hat jedoch im Zimmer schlecht gerochen. Das Bett war unbequem. Für ein Boutique Hotel war es auch nicht schön eingerichtet.

Had a great stay in Lisbon. Though our room was small, space is used creatively and we were very comfortable. The location right by the Santa Justa elevator and public transport is amazing and they have A/C and a good breakfast spread. Definitely recommend to others!

Très bel hôtel, en plein coeur de Lisbonne, proche de tout. Chambre à la décoration magnifique et assez calme (malgré le fait qu'elle donne sur la rue). Petit déjeuner très bon.
Seuls points négatifs : très peu de rangements, notamment dans la salle de bain et il manque un pommeau de douche, on est obligé d'utiliser la "cascade" de la douche à l'italienne (peu pratique si on ne veut pas se mouiller les cheveux et plus difficile de se rincer et de rincer la douche)

I was placed in the first floor room, it was next to the hotel guests bathroom as well as the restaurant and patio, so it was quite noisy. There is a sewage issue with blocked sinks, and also a little leakage on the bathroom ceiling. Thus, the condition of the hotel probably needs a little refurbishment. Additionally, there were works happening next door, which were a bit annoying / noisy.

Has elevator! Very helpful staff and gave me all the info I asked. Location of hotel is fantastic!!! The rooms are a bit small and there was no place to hand the clothe or open the suitcases. The single beds are also a bit small.

Die Lage ist super. Metro 200m entfernt. Einige Sehenswürdigkeiten und Fußgängerzone zu Fuß erreichbar.Frühstück war in Ordnung, für jeden was dabei. Das Zimmer war mit Balkon und sauber. Zwar etwas klein aber das war uns vorher aufgrund der Hotelbeschreibung schon klar.Mitarbeiter sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.Würde ich wieder buchen.

It's ok. Called a boutique hotel but please note; the rooms do not have a desk nor comfy chairs to sit on, the bathroom is made with a frosted glass panel, the air con is a bit noisy. The location is very good Indeed. Good for short stay.

Die Lage ist perfekt und das beste am Hotel.
Kleine Zimmer mit gewöhnungsbedürftigen Badezimmer.
Frühstück ausbaufähig, dafür tolle Aussicht im Frühstücksraum.
Personal freundlich aber defekter Föhn würde nicht ausgetauscht, nach mehreren Hinweisen.
Für den Preis habe ich mehr erwartet.

Das Hotel ist empfehlenswert für einen Stadturlaub, es liegt 2 Gehminuten vom Elevador und von der Metro entfernt. Auch ein Supermarkt ist in der Nähe. Man sollte keinen Riesenkomfort erwarten, die Zimmer sind eng, vor allem das Bad hat Minuspunkte bekommen da es nur von einer Glasschiebetür vom Schlafraum getrennt ist. Privatsphäre war so kaum möglich. Auch isz das Wasser in der Dusche nicht abgelaufen. Nach Reklamation ging es trotzdem nicht. Frühstück war ok, Eier, Speck, frisches Obst, Brötchen und 3 Sorten Cerealien. Alles in allem waren wir zufrieden!

Beste Lage, in Baixa alles fußgängig erreichbar. Gestaltung des Zimmers designerhaft, einfach schön. Personal sehr hilfreich. Preis-Leistungsverhältnis gut! Allerdings war unser Zimmer zur Straße gelegen und der Verkehrslärm störte.

Je laisse rarement un commentaire mais trop c’est trop ! Je ne recommande pas du tout :
1/ au petit déjeuner nous avions demander mon mari et moi un expresso, mais ils en avaient pas nous répondant que dans la chambre il y avait une machine . Alors c’est ce qu’on a fait mais la machine fonctionnait mal . Nous avons demander de la changer , ils ont bien évidemment rien effectué . Donc impossible de boire un café ! Et quand je suis retourner les voir , ils m’ont dit d’aller le prendre dehors !!!
2/ le lendemain matin la chambre était toujours pas faite à 18h lors de notre retour
3/ les toilettes ont été utilisés par la femme de ménage était sale ! Encore toute la défection ! Une horreur. Aussi , elle n’avait pas remis de papier toilette
4/ le sol , qui est de la moquette n’est pas aspirer !
5/ le petit-déjeuner ne peut être appeler de cette sorte . Très très peu de choix , je ne mange que du sucré le matin et là j’avais uniquement le droit à un cake ! Ni croissant , rien de rien
Enfin voilà je ne recommande pas , je pars demain de cette hôtel et j’ai hâte !

Absolut Zentral....Links davon keine 100m zum Rossio Platz , rechts davon 20m zum Elvador de Santa Justa :)Saubere Zimmer ohne Abstellmöglichleiten für Kleidung etc.Klima und Heizgerät steht zur Verfügung, sowie Kaffeemaschine .Der Föhn war defekt und auf Nachfrage leider nicht ausgetauscht.Das Frühstück ist überschaubar aber ausreichend für Preis und Leistung.Service ist mir gegenüber freundlich aufgefallen.Zimmerservice einwandfrei.

Un hotel maravilloso, cerca del centro histórico de Lisboa, castillo de San Jorge, plaza del comercio y a 10metros un elevador donde podrás disfrutar de unas vistas impresionantes. La atención del personal de 10, sobre todo Francisco, el recepcionista. Sólo mejoraría la calidad del buffet desayuno. Un zumo natural sienta mejor que uno de cartón.

Cute, modern & comfy hotel. Adorable & helpful staff. The only weirdness was the toilet in the room, it's half transparent (walls are made out of glass around the bathroom) which means you'd better go with someone with whom you are comfortable with :)

Wir waren dann vor Ort nochmals positiv überrascht wie zentral es wirklich liegt. Wir sind zu vielen Plätzen und Orten innerhalb von 2, 3 Minuten gelaufen oder auch zu der Burg innerhalb von 10 Minuten. Die Lage war also perfekt.Das Personal an der Rezeption war jung und alle konnten sehr gut Englisch. Zu Beginn erhielten wir an der Rezeption eine City Map und uns wurde einiges erklärt und das Hotel auf der Karte markiert. Leider hatte das Hotel zu dem Zeitpunkt ein Problem mit den Haartrockner, da diese immer wieder geklaut werden. Daher gab es nur noch ein bestimmtes Kontingent und den ersten Tag hatten wir keinen Haartrockner. Da ich aber bereits unten nach einem Haartrockner gefragt hatte, wurde dieser am nächsten Tag bei der Abreise von jemandem, der einen Haartrockner hatte, direkt von dort in mein Zimmer gelegt. Ich musste also nur einmal nach dem Haartrockner fragen und als wir am Abend zurückkamen, lag er in unserem Zimmer. Prima!Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit Queen Bed. Für unsere Schlafverhältnisse war es etwas klein. Es war vielleicht 1,60m / 1, 80m breit und wir haben uns eine große Decke geteilt. Bitte beachten Sie auch: wie auch auf den Bildern zu sehen, ist die Wand des Bads eine Glasscheibe mit einem goldenen Streifen. Durch den Streifen sieht man wie durch Milchglas. Vom Bett aus konnte man direkt ins Bad sehen. Wer damit also große Probleme hat, lieber nicht buchen.

Lift Boutique is located in the heart of Lisbon, making it really easy to reach all the main attractions. I arrived early, before check-in time but was able to store my luggage with the front desk and explore Lisbon before officially checking in.The room (room 34) had a full/queen bed, tv, minibar, safe, and a heater/AC unit. Im not sure the heater worked but the temperature was mild enough where I didnt need it in December. Please note that the room is quite small, which I believe is typical for most places. There is a frosted glass wall separating the bed from the bathroom. The bathroom had a really nice shower head, the water was warm, and it was a clean bathroom. I would recommend staying here again for the convenient location and overall really nice room.

Atendimento muitíssimo atencioso. Boa localização, limpeza e serviços. Fizeram a cortesia de arranjar um kit para o pequeno almoço dado que saímos bastante cedo antes da sala de pequenos almoços abrir.

Great location in centre of downtown Lisbon. Hotel itself is nicely decorated, but tiny. Had to live out of suitcase as nowhere to put clothes apart from a pipe about 10cm long to hang something on. Constantly bumping into other person in the room. Bed was also smaller than usual, I guess to fit into the right space. Nice bathroom.

Lo mejor es que está muy cercano a los barrios principales de Baixa, Chiado y Barrio alto. Tendría que mejorar en cambiar la puerta del baño y ser opaca, ya que transparenta y se ve la silueta de la perona, asi como disponer de más articulos de aseo como tener secador de pelo. No cambian las sabanas a diario.

Meine Freundin und ich waren für 5 Tagen in Lissabon unterwegs. Mit diesem Hotel hatten wir einen sehr guten Standort, welches uns ermöglichte jeden Tag zu Fuss die wunderschöne Stadt zu besichtigen wie auch die weiterliegenden Sehenswürdigkeiten.

Hotel is perfectly located in the heart of lisbon. We visited 1 month after the hotel opened for business and there some amenities still under construction. All in all, we really enjoyed our stay. The front desk staff were great (they bought us natas due to a mix up with the room), rooms were spacious, hotel offers luggage storage and the showers were very good. Lastly, location is prime and you can walk to all major destinations. Would visit again!

Nach der Ankunft fiel uns schon beim check in der unangenehme Geruch auf(Fäkaliengeruch),ich hatte die Hoffnung auf dem Zimmer würde es nicht der Fallsein, aber leidre auch dort, zudem war es nicht sauber also nichts wie wieder raus auschecken und ein anderes Hotel buchen. Wir wurden gefragt warum wir gehenund es war wohl auch der Rezeption klar das es er der Gestank ist, denn wirwurden gefragt ..liegt es am Geruch?..Bingo 100%...unverständlich warum hier nicht der Hotelbetreiber sofort für Abhilfe sorgt, so ist es aus meiner Einschätzungnach eine Zumutung zu vermieten. Sorry..Die Dame und Herr an der Rezeption waren sehr nettaber die Umstände liesen kein Alternative zu.

Sehr kleines Zimmer aber irgendwie niedlich. Personal an der Rezeption super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Sauberkeit der Zimmer nicht gut. Kaffeetassen nicht sauber (Kruste und leicht zu entfernen Kaffeeflecken drauf).Ausschlafen geht nicht da Housekeeping sehr laut mit einander redet und lacht usw. Die sehr Zentrale Lage macht viel gut. 1 oder max 2 Nächte. Mehr nicht. Würde nicht noch mal hin gehen.

Nice rooms but no other services. No breakfast. Also I booked for a Superior and they gave me a standard. They refunded but the second evening when I was supposed to change the room, nobody knew anything about that, they couldn’t find my luggage....

The lift boutique hotel is in an excellent location. I went there with my mom for 6 days and loved it. Besides being such a nice little hotel, what amazed me the most was how friendly and willing to help all the staff were. Big shout out to Pedro, Sofia, and Chico! Thank you for making out stay so great! Definitely recommend for anyone that would go to Lisbon.

Great hotel well situed. Rooms are pretty big, and very nice. Staff is very nice, speaking french/english. The only small issue is the lift. Yes, this is a small hotel with 5 or 6 levels so either you climb stairs or you take the only one lift. Sometimes you have to wait a few minutes. No big deal so five stars.
