City center. Chic rooms. A bit small but average size expected for a typical city hotel.
They didn’t clean our rooms one day until post 3 pm. Very annoying.
Other than that - staff and lobby both were nice. We didn’t get breakfast as several cheaper cafes nearby

Nicely located hotel, across from a main train station and central to several districts. Noisy from city construction only when the door was open. Pretty view overlooking the city’s valley toward the river if you pay for a room with the view or go to the bar later in the day. Our room was a normal European size (small-ish), clean, and had a large shower with good water pressure, as well as a small balcony with table - perfect for morning coffee. The service was a bit cheap on the coffee (only 1 cup per person per day) and turn-down (only once in our 5 night stay), and the quality of the breakfast foods was low (fruit/ pastries and breads, none were quite right - unripe, cut too big/ slightly stale). However, the servers at the bar were very pleasant and helpful finding us a table and taking a picture, and we were given one nicely poured glass of wine by the hotel to enjoy the view by. I’d go again but would also consider staying elsewhere for better value.

Great location and modern hotel. Unfortunately our room was by the cleaning cupboard (409) and so we were woken every morning by the sound of people outside. I think we were just unlucky with where our room was. Otherwise the room was nice and clean and had everything we needed for the weekend.

Beautiful hotel in an excellent location. Would highly recommend for a stay in Lisbon. The staff is very friendly and the rooms are very clean. The little chocolate from turn down service was a nice surprise :)
The breakfast is excellent! Eggs, meats, a million types of pastries, fresh fruits, yogurt and cereal and many different coffee drinks to order. Easily an expensive breakfast out plus the view from the terrace is beautiful!

Comfortable, clean and the staff is kind and helpful. Located in a strategic point you can go everywhere in a few minutes. Bed are so soft and the shower is great. Rooftop amazing. I don’t have the breakfast included so I can’t rate it. Nespresso in the room is a positive plus. I loved it

Super tolles sehr centrales Hotel mitten in Lissabon.
Sehr saubere und gepflegte Zimmer, Zimmerservice ist exzellent.
Die Rezeption ist immer besetzt und hat stets freundliches und zuvorkommendes Personal.
Das Frühstück ist klasse, man frühstückt auf der obersten 7.Etage und hat draußen einen Blick über Lissabon.
Man kann am Abreisetag eine Lunchbox erhalten.
Werden wieder kommen und wenn man sehr früh über z.B. booking bucht, kann man super Preise erzielen.

A brilliant hotel pretty much in the city centre. Our room was a decent size, clean and fresh! Breakfast was perfect on the 7th floor with some impressive views. All the staff were extremely friendly and polite. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Lisbon!

some staff at breakfast where friendly and made mum feel very special as it was her birthday. Room was comfortable. Location was perfect
Negative
Some staff really didn’t feel like they where welcoming. One even ignored my mum when she asked a question which left sore taste in her mouth. I found the people at the check desk not friendly at all. Every time had a question find quite rude. Only one was friendly during our stay.
Draw was broken. TV not working properly.
If I came back to Lisbon don’t know if I would stay at this hotel again.

Apenas visitei a recepção e a sala no terraço no jantar da minha empresa, que foi volante. O serviço de catering foi bom, o pessoal muito simpático e atencioso. Do pouco que vi, acho que é um hotel chique e luxuoso que oferece um serviço bom e confortável.

Our stay here was absolutely amazing. The location is perfect for those who really want to explore Lisbon. The rooms were beautiful and their staff made our experience exceptionally memorable. The day we checked out also happened to be my birthday. A staff member heard the group singing to me and decided to provide a complimentary champagne toast in my honor. I was blown away. The staff provided the champagne and ran around to make sure they could provide enough glasses for all members of our group. It was an amazing birthday and it was made even more amazing by the staff at this hotel. Thank you for your hospitality!

Não foi nada engraçado, O hotel não nos avisou que estaria em obras, a primeira suite tinha pó e restante de obra em toda casa de banho, mudamos, fomos para um quarto pela manhã logo cedo um barulho enloquecedor de furadeira de obras, mudamos de andar. Outros problemas, roupão rasgados, chinelos pequenos, toalhas manchadas. foram muitos os problemas. o Gerente nos ofereceu uma noite não voltamos ate então. O pequeno almoço é muito bom com vista para Av da Liberdade e centro.

Agréable séjour. Emplacement de choix (près des restos (principalement portugais et italiens) avec terrasse, en face de la gare (Sintra), deux pas du métro, les magasins, HardRockcafé, la Durée, etc.,et un petit marché (charcuterie, fromages, olives, pains, sangria porto, etc. ). Petite chambre (comme partout en Europe), très propre, lit confortable, notre chambre donnait côté des restos et le bruit était correct, bien isolé. Nous nentendions pas les voisins. Vaut le 5*. Leur terrasse sur le toit est superbe et le buffet au déjeuner est excellent.

Отель в самом центре Лиссабона. До всех основных достопримечательностей пять-десять минут пешком. Хороший вид с крыши ресторана где проходит завтрак. Завтрак кстати так себе на троечку. Отель не пять звёзд. Нормальная четвёрка. Номера очень маленькие. Дали с видом на двор, заблокировали на карте 200 евро. При этом при чек ауте просили чаевые, при оплате. В центре много других пятизвёздочных отелей.

In the middle of a very hot and busy Lisbon, this hotel is an oasis of calm and quality. The first thing you notice is the friendliness of the staff who are ready for your visit and smooth you through all arrangements with perfect English. Our room had a huge bed comprising two mattresses, possibly the most comfortable I've ever slept in. The air conditioning was effective and silent. The bathroom had a large drenching shower, I always spent longer there than necessary! Bottled water and 2 chocolates were provided every evening. The 7th floor has a large restaurant and bar. You have the best breakfast out on the open terrace there each morning, have a drink as the sun goes down and one night we had dinner there and were surprised at the very high quality cuisine at 'normal' prices. While we were there my wife had her birthday, and though we had not mentioned it, that evening we returned to our room to find a chilled bottle of sparkling wine, 2 glasses, a delicious chocolate cake and cutlery. Wow! August is not the best time to go to Lisbon due to the heat and crowds. However our stay at the Altis Avenida was an absolute delight.

Could take their status more seriously. Good location.. good service.. but nothing excellent... which is too bad. Internet is uneven which is totally weird in 2018. So easy to fix. No excuse for that at all. But.. very nice people at the front desk. Couldn’t be nicer!

The staff were friendly and welcoming. The hotel is centrally located within walking distance to the main points of interest. The metro is on the doorstep with plenty of options coffee bars and restaurants within close proximity. The view from the terrace and restaraunt was an additional reason as to why we choose this hotel which overlooks parts the city.

The rooftop bar is amazing, it was just a shame it is not open during some of the week! Deluxe room had a great view. Spotlessly clean and the staff could not be better! Also the location is absolutely perfect! Breakfast was good, could be a little more diverse but including Prosecco as an option was a nice touch!

Gentillesse, convivialité, serviabilité...merci notamment à Ricardo, Christian et les autres employés qui se reconnaîtront : un hôtel qui mérite ses étoiles ; la cuisine est délicieuse, la vue depuis le restaurant en terrasse au septième étage est somptueuse. Un grand merci pour ce séjour... Seul bémol, il faut savoir se débrouiller en langue anglaise :-)

Hotel is central and convenient to walk to multiple areas - bairro alto, Praça do Comercio, Alfama. Great restos around too and helpful staff. Only hotel I’ve seen actually do a turndown service. Only issue we had was the bathroom, it was small to manoeuvre around. Otherwise very nice!

My wife and I met up with two of our favorite friends in November of 2018 in Lisbon and stayed a week here. The Concierge, Eduardo, was assisted us above and beyond duty suggesting restaurants, making reservations, purchasing transit tickets (we took train to Porto), recommending sites and our outward leg (back to Bangkok) he upgraded us to a suite! Very personable and a genuinely nice, polite person.
Breakfast buffet was the best we ever had with a huge variety to choose from (including fresh salmon each morning) and highly efficient staff who immediately refreshed dishes if supply ran low. Nice view of the city from the outside deck (a little too cold to sit outside in November though).
Hotel is adjacent to main city plaza, easy walk to the river and central to shopping, restaurants and train station. For this class of hotel the price, we thought, was amazing.

Loved our stay in Lisbon! Our room was comfortable and clean. The shower pressure was amazing with the rainfall shower head. The hotel was located in a very convenient location and was walkable to most tourist destinations. The breakfast was delicious! The rooftop view was also breathtaking. You can save your money and not take the tourist elevator to see Lisbon and just stay in this hotel instead.

When we booked we paid for a queen bed... we ended up in separate beds me and my wife that is. The breakfast was meh as best... never mind that it was as bad as it gets low variety and quantity every thing was either finished or about to be. Not to mention the “gym” its a room with weights that wouldn’t fit a kids workout and a treadmill aw and a couple of apples. And one of the staff sent us down to a burned up restaurant so there’s that.

Wonderful hotel in a great area of Lisbon. It was easily accessible. The rooms were spacious and well appointed. The room 616 was spacious and had a beautiful view. People bent over backwards to please us. Only complaint was breakfast quality. Very limited compared to most places. Also the rooftop bar was beautiful and cocktails were beautifully prepared. But food was barely edible.

It has truly been and excellent experience staying at Altis Avenida Hotel. The room was beautiful and extremely clean. The rooftop has spectacular views. We would like to give a very special thank you to Ricardo Front door man and Eduardo who is the concierge. Ricardo was very kind at all times and helped us in everything we needed. He truly gave us a 5 star service. Eduardo provides us with great information on sightseeing locations and was very kind. We highly recommend this hotel.

Decided to treat myself to a birthday celebration in Portugal.Normally, we do mid-priced hotels as come on, youre only there to sleep. But to be honest every once in awhile staying at a high end hotel feels well deserved.My husband chose this place because the train station is across the street. I chose it for the outdoor balcony rooms.We arrived before checkin, so they held our bags until the room was ready.We had to leave our bags on 2 separate occasions and it was just so nice to have them delivered to our room or waiting for us upon return.Our room was on the 6th floor, with a balcony and a corner patio (loved this, great HH). King bed was very comfortable, bathroom good sized with robes and slippers.Nice touch of a small bottle of port and almond cookies.Every encounter with the staff was courteous and informative and friendly. From checkin help to train ticket input.Dont really get the bad reviews of the breakfast because I thought it was alot to choose from and we were served coffee as soon as we sat down. Our room may have faced the busy street but you would never know it from inside the room. I loved staying here, felt like I had arrived!

After staying here for 4 nights and traveling to Porto for 3 nights we used this hotel again for our night before airport departure.Sometimes you want to try new places but.. sometimes you want to know what to expect.We used this previously because of the train station across the steet.Our room this 1 night was smaller than our previous one but no worries everything was still great.Soft king bed, waterfall shower, good sized bathroom, great breakfast, small little balcony overlooking the avenue.I enjoyed our stay here and especially all of Portugal. Staff made us feel very welcome

Muy bien situado, acorde a su categoría sobre todo teniendo en cuenta otros de la zona y en nuestro caso estaba muy bien de precio, también en comparación al resto. El parking de la plaza está a muy pocos metros aunque no en el propio establecimiento. Buena opción para repetir.

This is a gorgeous hotel located in the central area of Lisbon, conveniently located right by all the best restaurants in Lisbon, a lot of stores for shopping, the Santa Justa elevator, and the Carmen convent. The hotel is luxurious and has new rooms and decor that is sleek. There is an amazing rooftop sun terrace and a rooftop bar that provides one of the most stunning views on the city. I think it is better than even the view from the Santa Justa elevator. And the food and drinks are great there.

Just finished our stay. The standard room we were assigned was spacious and first class. Great location. The restaurant had great views on the rooftop terrace. The breakfast buffet had many choices including hot custard tarts that were addictive. I have no complaints and would stay again.

Petit-déjeuner très varié et complet.
Je voudrais également remercier les femmes de chambres car après mon depart j'ai oublié un bijou... celle ci l'a ramenée et déposé à la réception puis renvoyer à mon domicile !!! Et ça ce n'est partout pareil donc je voudrai encore les remercier.

Good food. Fantastic view. Appealing service! The staff really didn't really have any clue of what a five star service should be like - sorry guys but you really have to up your game to compete with other EU countries. The cheese platter was just chucked on the table with no explanation whatsoever of flavours, but location, eating order, the nothing. J also laughed at the bottle of wine put upside down in the ice bucket - very cheap and cheerful Italian trattoria and not a five star place. Dirty toilets.

Loved our time here. First day got small port and sintra sweets waiting for us. The staff always made us feel welcome. Special thanks to Ricardo at the front who always had a smile and who energy was always positive. The hotel is well located ideal for walking tours and for travel to other places.

La climatisation de la chambre et d ailleurs de plusieurs chambre ne marchait pas. Incapable de le reparer le lendemain matin et de nous donner une autre chambre. Après 2 jours une autre chambre pas de réelles excuses ni de geste commercial. Par ailleurs des femmes de menage qui nettoie à 9h du matin en criant dans les couloirs. 10 mn d attente au petit dejeuner pour avoir son café. Des wc à l accueil sans papier toilette. Bref un hotel pas au niveau de son standing affiché.

Man erreicht vom Hotel aus die wichtigsten Sehenswürdigkeiten zu Fuss. Bis auf einen vormittag hatten wir nur Sonne. Lissabon ist immer eine Reise wert. Mittlerweile war ich zum 4x dort.

Sehr gutes Hotel, wir konnten früher einchecken nach ein wenig Wartezeit, die wir zum Sightseeing genutzt haben. Das Deluxe-Zimmer war sehr gut. Das Frühstück hat keinerlei Wünsche offen gelassen. Ich würde das Hotel jederzeit wieder buchen. Danke, dass wir Gast sein durften :o)

+ a beautiful terrace with a view of the city
- no healthy or vegan options for breakfast apart from fresh fruit, soy milk and cereals (but we did not order anything on advance, so this is forgivable)

Zentral gelegen mit vielen tollen Restaurants und Sehenswürdigkeiten in Gehweite; die Rezeptionisten geben gerne Tips, wo man gut essen kann.

Este hotel localizado no Centro de Lisboa é muito bom para quem quer visitar a capital a pé podendo deslocar-se facilmente na baixa. As instalações são modernas e com muito bom gosto. Os quartos são bonitos e muito comodos. O spa é maravilhoso. O pequeno almoço é muito completo e agradável. O atendimento é muito bon e os funcionários são muito eficientes.

La vista desde la terraza es immejorable.
Se puede observar el ascensor (elevador) de Santa Justa mientras se disfruta de un buen desayuno o una cerveza.
Se ve la plaza de los Restauradores tambien
Las habitaciones son comodas y pudimos alojarnos en el ultimo dia en las recientemente restauradas del penhouse y son excelentes.

L’ambiance se veut 5 étoile mais il y a encore du chemin.
Les chambre n’ont pas le confort requis pour le prix payé. Surtout celles du 6 ème étage qui ne sont pas assez insonorisée car le restaurant est juste au dessus.
Points positifs : personnel cordial et aux petits soins. Restaurant aux plats délicats, savoureux et recherchés. Prix un peu haut pour la ville de Lisbonne.

A pleasant stay in the heart of Lisbon. Friendly, warm & thoughtful staff. The room we stayed was good size and clean, toiletries, robes, slippers, good size towels and extra pillows were provided with a touch of chocolates from the service staff (Alice). Security safe, dryer, luggage stand, espresso maker, good size cupboard and drawers were in good standard even the number hangers were generous. Good size TV with good channel selection. Breakfast buffet were great from warm cooked food, choices of cereals, selection of breads and pastries to cold meats and fruits only room for improvement were the selection of drinks (no apple juice). You can also ask to cook something for you out of the buffet of food. But for me the breakfast was perfect and they have different warm food everyday so you don't get bored of the same stuff. The location of the hotel was very convenient. A minute or two from the buzzing Rossio square, shops and restaurants. Convenient transportation, two metro station with one situated just outside the hotel and across is the Rossio railway station. If i was to travel back to Lisbon again, I will highly likely to stay in this hotel again.

it's at a very good location. But people weren't friendly and helpfully when we stayed there for 3 nights in May. Especially the receptionist had all excuses to reject your requests and manners just isn't close to 5 stars hotel's standard. Bathroom appliances didn't work appropriately.

Hotel bem localizado, funcionários muito atenciosos e solícitos, o que fez toda a diferença para se sentir bem acolhido. Café da manhã excelente. Quarto de bom tamanho e banheiro idem , apesar de haver pouco espaço na bancada. Mas com um chuveiro muito bom. O hotel está passando por uma reforma de ampliação e o barulho incomodou um pouco. O embarque e desembarque, não pode ser feito em frente à porta do hotel, o que dificulta um pouco. Pequenos detalhes, que não prejudicam a boa avaliação desse hotel. Voltaria a me hospedar lá.

A 'four' star hotel that is trying too hard to be a five star hotel. Staff were freindly but too plentiful and overbearing. Rooms were clean and comfortable but small. Breakfast was adequate. Nice view from the bar terrace, but the drinks measure are tiny to say the least. There was also construction noise from the building next door from 8am to 6.30pm at least. I would not stay here again - too many other good hotels to choose from.

Small room but typical for a city centre hotel. All essentials provided (except water at €4 a bottle). Excellent choice at breakfast and hotel restaurant outstanding. Metro line right outside hotel.
We found cleaners still making up rooms at 5pm which slightly annoying if you fancy a snooze before dinner.

Das Hotel ist ein gutes 3 Stern Hotel, aber mehr nicht. Das Zimmer war klein, nicht sauber geputzt und die Ausstattung nicht einem 5 Sternhotel würdig. Zudem gibt es keinen Fitnessraum. Das Personal war sehr arrogant und hochnäsig, in keiner Weise hilfsbereit. Es konnte uns nicht einmal einen Plan ausdrucken wie man nach Queluz kam. Erst beim ca. 3 Mal fragen, ob man uns nicht einen Plan via google maps ausdrucken könne, hat man dies auch gemacht. Ich bin schon das ca. 6 Mal in Lissabon und das ist eindeutig das schlechteste Hotel, indem ich in Lissabon je gewesen bin.

Lhôtel est très bien situé près de la place Rossio et en face de la gare Rossio doù partent les trains pour Sintra. Juste à côté il y a une station de métro et lhôtel est également près de la place Figueira doù partent tous les bus touristiques et le mythique tram 28. Le personnel à la réception et au restaurant est très accueillant et parle français. Par ailleurs, beaucoup de portugais parlent le français. Je retournerai dans le même hôtel si jai loccasion de revenir à Lisbonne.

The hotels location is perfect for accessing the local area by foot (barrio alto, chiado, alfama) and all the sights and restaurants in these neighborhoods. Plus, being located next to the Rossio train station and the metro blue line, access to public transport is readily accessible.The hotels staff were very helpful, no problems with speaking English.The hotels restaurant, on the top floor with outdoor patio, is excellent, serving a wonderful and full buffet breakfast and providing an excellent atmosphere for an elegant dinner.

Vi är jättenöjda efter 4 nätter på Altis Avenida hotel. Kanske inte skulle bedöma det som ett fem stjärnigt hotell men som ett 4+. Hotellpersonal var väldigt servicminded och talade utmärkt engelska.Många sevärdheter, restauranger och shopping inom gångavstånd.

Very nice rooms and great service but its biggest perk is its central location. With a metro station (Restauratores) at the front door and the major transportation hub Rossio only a short walk away, it's ideal for tourists and people who are here for business. The hotels own restaurant delivers some very decent food for an alright price, but you definitely want to check out the restaurant list in your room, there are some great recommendations on there. Also try and stay away from the restaurants in the immediate area, they are very mediocre! I would definitely stay here again in the future.

Sehr schönes, super zentrales Hotel mit sehr gutem, freundlichen Service.Allerdings kann man den Shuttlebus Service vergessen. Er fährt nur alle 3 Stunden und braucht eine Stunde. Der Aerobus kostet nur 3,5 EURO, braucht 1/2 Stunde, hält direkt neben dem Hotel und fährt alle 20 Minuten. EIn Taxi kostet ca. 15 EURO.Achtung! Die Classic-Zimmer haben keine schöne Aussicht sonndern blicken in den Hinterhof. Sie sind zwar komfortabel aber recht dunkel.
