This is an excellent little bar, I was brought here by my mam and stepdad for the first time this year and I love the place. Nothing is too much trouble drinks wise and the guy behind the bar is brilliant. The oldest bar in alvor and the drinks and perfect. Highly recommended.

We visit alvor often. and charlies bar is the chill Out place on the evening. We have never been to alvor without popping in to see Charlie. (Most nights). You are always welcome and the beer is cheap. There is some live sports. Quiz nights and entertainment. And your host charlie is the most friendly guy you could ever meet

Went to a quiz there one night, great craic, met some lovely people and we won and got a bottle of port! Then got 20 glasses and shared with the rest of the bar!!!

This is the hidden gem of the pubs in Alvor. Charlie is the nicest man you could hope to meet. He also has without a doubt the best pint in Alvor.

The oldest and also the best bar in Alvor. Managed by an hospitable and knowledgable young man who made my girlfriend and I feel welcome and at ease on our first ever trip abroad. Charlie's Place is a must-try for people of all ages!
